Hi all.
I told my mates about this place and they are going to join as well if that's okay? Can I cancel my character and change to something else so that it fits in with my mate? Not saying we will be a tag team though lol
Just helps us as newbies to it all!

Tom's explained a bit about this place, so to get this right I create a fictional character and then make my own script every week?

Re: 6CW Chat v14
You create a character - The creative team will then add them to them to the next card for the show
Once the show card is posted you can promo in character, whether that be backstage, in ring or as a vignette style to introduce the character to the company - Depends on how au fait you are with wrestling to how much this makes sense for you

My only, and obviously I truly mean only worry about that character sheet is that this Tom Order was a failed TV detective in the late 90s, and now in 2016 he is 28. CBeebies?

Re: 6CW Chat v14
Is this ok?
Name: Godwin Law
Nickname: Maverick
Age: 30
Height: 6"2
Weight: 190lb
Hometown: Berlin
Class: Face
Gimmick: He was meant to be the comedic relief to Tom Order, the Sheldon Cooper to his Leonard but the show was cancelled and they ended up going into partnership together, Tom has at times become a parental figure to him despite Godwin being the elder of the two.
Personality: He’s on the Autistic Spectrum and often fails to relate to others or realize when his comments may be misconstrued, his dark humour and abruptness can rub people the wrong way
Entrance Music: As a tagteam – Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, as an individual – I Fought The Law by the Clash.
Entrance Details: Dry ice billows out from the ramp as ‘I Fought the Law’ begins to play. Godwin emerges through the smoke as ‘the Law won’ plays and he makes a gesture with his hands to mimic him firing pistols towards the ring (ala Cactus Jack). He runs down the ramp and rushes the ring before standing aloft the corner posts and again fires off a few shots from his imaginary pistols.
Finishing Move 1: Right to remain silent (Go to Sleep)
Finishing Move 2: Taking down details (Kerb stomp)
Trademark Move: ABH (10 count of punches to head in corner)
Submission Move: Twister (attack from back control, cranking pressure on the neck whilst twisting the body in the opposite direction putting pressure on the spine)
Highflying Move: Hurricarana
Five - eight common moves: Armbar, Anaconda Choke, Triangle Choke, Peruvian Necktie, Guillotine Choke, Achilles Lock
Taunts/Catchphrases: Peew peew! (making a gun like noise whilst pointing his fingers).
Match Tactics: Mat based with submission holds
Clean/Dirty Match Style (Pick three): clean with a leaning towards UFC/Jack Gallagher
Weapon of Choice: Knuckledusters
Specialty Match submission

Evening all - That video shows that despite playing a retarded redneck and being in TNA there's always a chance WWE will give you another shot....
Makes me think of the conversations we have on worst efed gimmick or ideas that you shelved for a character - It pales into comparison for somethings that actually made it to WWE television

Re: 6CW Chat v14
Here is the promo. As I am not on the show yet, I assume it goes here?
.......................
The E! True Hollywood story presents Tom Order and Godwin Law.
Voiceover man (VM) starts to speak over the relevant images of Tom and Godwins career.
VM: Tom Order was your typical Englishman. Bad teeth, pale skin and a regional accent alien to most Americans. But when American TV producers saw his 6"4 frame in a gym one day, they realised they had found one half of their new crime fighting British duo. Tom was quickly sent to Los Angeles to get his star makeover and he came back a new man, with tanned skin, perfect brilliant white teeth and a nondescript accent. He was going to be the next big thing if they could find his yet to be discovered partner.
It took 9 months for the producers to for the producers to find Godwin Law. Some say that the Berliner was found after being thrown out of a Berlin burlesque review, others claimed he was serving time in Germans hardest prison. No one knew but the producers could see that they had their man to team up with Tom Order.
The two were sent to a rigorous boot camp to get their athletic bodies into insane conditioning. The producers threw everything they could at the pair to make sure they were going to be britains answer to Crockett and Tubbs. But they forgot about acting lessons.
The show began filming in late 2008 and although the director and producers thought the show was going to be a ratings winner, the rest of the crew could see the car crash that was being made. The only other two who thought they were stars were Tom and Godwin themselves.
Their career was already doomed before it began but the final nail came when the proposed title of "law and Order" was nixed after a lawsuit was brought about from the makers of the to show "law and order".
Panicking, the show was released on ITV in the Uk in a prime Saturday evening slot as "Tom and Godwins Detectives for Hire". The press slammed the first episode claiming that they were indeed "private dicks for hire".
The shows ratings were terrible and although week 2 a ratings went up, this was due to people wanting to see how bad it was. After week 3 ratings showed that viwership was below day time quiz shows, the show was pulled from the schedule and Tom and Godwin were let go.
Tom and Godwin were free agents but this was only the start of the story.
Part 2 of the E! true Hollywood story continues shortly.
