TheCleaver rolled out a wire to wire win inflicting another dominant performance on the rest of the Fantasy League.  He was helped by the popular pick of Joost Luiten who shot the low round of 63 to win by three shots over fellow pick Bernd Wiesberger, also a TheCleaver pick.  TheCleaver had two other picks in the top ten positions cementing his win.  AlciG, Davie, I'm Never Wrong, and Sand also had four scoring picks; AlciG, and Davie also had the 1-2 finish of Luiten and Wiesberger.  BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, Kwinigolfer, and SetupDetermines all had three scoring picks, both Blue and Kwini had Juiten in their picks.  EmmDee57, LadyPutt, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, and Pedro all had two scoring picks; LadyPutt and Pedro also had Luiten.  GolferMartin, Sir_Benson, and Super_Realist had just one the scoring pick but Super's was Luiten.

Alex Noren, fresh off of his win in the Omega European Masters, headlines the KLM Open field as the highest ranked player.  The KLM Open was very much a horses for courses tournament but by moving to a new venue, The Dutch, could put some course specialists under a bit of pressure.  Thomas Pieters is the defending champion.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Davie, it was a bee sting.

Couldn't see Pieters on the list of tee times so it does look like he withdrew prior to the round.

Those of you with a reserve will have them step up. You may want to think about a new Cat A reserve just in case.

Those without a reserve, SirB and EmmD, should jump in quick as the afternoon wave is going to head out in about 30 minutes.

All those with Thomas Pieters had their reserves step up; in some cases this was good and in others not so good. EmmDee57 and SirBenson both selected Chris Wood as a replacement and with his afternoon tee time he was an eligible but not so good choice.

Pedro also had his Cat B reserve Marcel Siem step up as Anthony Wall never came under starters orders.

Ben Evans set the early lead at the KLM Open with a round of 65.  He has a one shot lead over eight other players and three of those were picks. Bernd Wiesberger and Byeong HUn An were the popular choices, the lesser picked Chris Hanson was the third.  Eyetoldyouso and SetupDetermines had both Bernd and Byeong while TheCleaver added Hanson to Bernd.  AlciG, Davie, EmmDee57, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, and Sand had one of the two B's.

The cut line fell and one under and unusually for a Fantasy League event more picks missed the cut than made it.  No one managed the full set and despite having eight other picks through Davie, SetupDetermines, and TheCleaver all had their ninth pick miss by some margin.  I'm Never Wrong and Super_Realist also earned two cut bonuses but they are both missing picks from Category C.  Owen10ozzy has seven picks left while EmmDee57, McLaren, Pedro, and Sand also have six picks left.  McLaren was the only one not to pick up a cut bonus from the group with six picks left.  AlciG, BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, and SirBenson all have five picks left; AlciG, GolferMartin, LadyPutt, and SirBenson all earned a cut bonus.

The popular pick of Joost Luiten shot 64 to take the low round of the day.  AlciG, BlueCoverman, Davie, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, Pedro, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver all picked up additional points from his fine play.

Brandon Stone shot the round of the day with a 63 and scores of 67 or lower were needed to make the Top 10 Low Round scores.  Five picks did just and TheCleaver continues his strong pace.  He had three of the five with Scott Hend, Chris Hanson, and Daniel Im all scoring.  I'm Never Wrong, Pedro, and Sand each had two of the five as Richard Bland and Nicolas Colsaerts got in among the points.  EmmDee57, GolferMartin, Owen10ozzy, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all had one of the five to round out the points earned in round three.

TheCleaver rolled out a wire to wire win inflicting another dominant performance on the rest of the Fantasy League. He was helped by the popular pick of Joost Luiten who shot the low round of 63 to win by three shots over fellow pick Bernd Wiesberger, also a TheCleaver pick. TheCleaver had two other picks in the top ten positions cementing his win. AlciG, Davie, I'm Never Wrong, and Sand also had four scoring picks; AlciG, and Davie also had the 1-2 finish of Luiten and Wiesberger. BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, Kwinigolfer, and SetupDetermines all had three scoring picks, both Blue and Kwini had Juiten in their picks. EmmDee57, LadyPutt, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, and Pedro all had two scoring picks; LadyPutt and Pedro also had Luiten. GolferMartin, Sir_Benson, and Super_Realist had just one the scoring pick but Super's was Luiten.
