Have a song that matches the PPV, like Beachfront should have "Copacabana" by Barry Manilow

I really liked when they used "Champion" during CM Punk's epic WWE Title reign

I think the best PPV themes are the ones that suit what is going on at the time...like Hero says My Way by Limp Bizkit might be the best as we had two of the biggest stars clashing and the lyrics worked pretty well.

For example, the vignette promo I did used "Everybody wants to rule the world" by Lorde which musically isn't the first song that comes to mind when you think of wrestling but with the four men attempting to 'rule the world' in that match it works...that and I didn't want to use Take That.

I think the next best thing, if you can't find a song that tells the story then just pick a song that gets you hyped...I loved the days of WWF/WWE when the songs were always generic metal tracks like Limp Bizkit and Stained because despite being bands I'd not purposely listen to, the heaviness of the music would get me in the mood to see a fight. It's something that artists like Flo Rida don't quite pull off for me.

My Way is probably the best, I'd have Monster by Imagine Dragons a close second for Bryan at WM30. The best ones are when you hear the song and instantly see the video in your mind.

I always think to HBK-Taker at WM25 which I believe was Placebo "running up that hill"

Always said this but WWE really does do fantastic vignettes

"Running up that Hill" cover by Placebo was fantastic for Taker vs HBK at WM 26, but it was a special kind of match. Otherwise I'd go for My Way at WM 17 as people have said, or Control at Survivor Series 2001

The vignettes do make the song in many ways. Theres many WWE PPV themes i've not instantly got and then i've watched the video and its completely changed my opinion on the song

The best vignette they ever did was the one prior to Cena-Punk at MITB 2011

An amazing moment in my life

I went to a gig in Cardiff on my own in 2013 wearing a CM Punk t-shirt and two amazing things happened

I became best mates for the night with a guy in a Paul Heyman shirt and about 5 or 6 times CM Punk chants started up...at first I ignored it but by the end I was doing the "It's Clobbering Time!" gimmick and really playing up to it haha

Obviously a lot of love for CM Punk in Cardiff!

Dicey Reilly, Gazzy D, Max Adamson and Lex Hart

Delay a day, crossed wires on what day the show was. Pesky Sundays confused people.

War Games isn't something you can write in one sitting and rush so best delay and be right with the world
