who bats in the middle-order for your all time test XI?
The 606v2 all time test XI - the middle-order poll
Well we've had a bit of time to fling out a few names for the middle-order, so it's time to do the poll! We have a list of 32 names to choose from, which should be plenty! Now it's up to you to choose who should play in the middle-order for our all time test XI. For this, pick two names from the list. However, if your two picks include an all-rounder (Kallis and Sobers) I would ask you to pick a third player.
The test XI so far:
Hobbs
Gavaskar
Bradman

Where does your middle order begin? I always thought that batsmen like Tendulkar were top order batsmen.
Anyway i have gone for Lara and Stave Waugh.

Ok, fair enough mate. I always considered the middle order to be 4/5 to 7 which is why i asked about Tendulkar.

went Tendulkar and Steve Waugh
Tendulkar acts as the classy batsman, where Waugh can do the gritty work for me

I voted for Tendulkar, his longevity and just records in both forms of the game cannot be overlooked. Also all done whilst carrying the weight of an entire country on his shoulders.
Second vote was for Wally Hammond. I mean averaging in the high 50's is just quality and he is England's equal record Test centurion whilst only playing 85 tests is supreme batsmanship. Then, to top it off, he offers another option with the ball aswell.
