Mythbusters
I ain't afraid of no myth
Simple concept. One liners that debunk rugby myths.
E.g.
The man of the match can be chosen from the losing team.
The high tackle law should apply to South Sea Island teams.
Professional rugby players should be able to demonstrate a core set of skills irrespective of their position (no slack cut for forwards)
Share your mythbusters with me.
Busting makes me feel good.

It's a good idea to kick to touch once time is up at the end of the first half.

Re: Mythbusters
It doesn't depend which French team turns up, it depends whether the hotel food was to their liking, whether it is too warm or two cold, whether they are sulking with their coach or not, whether or not it's NZ in a WC or the reigning grand slam holders, whether they have had a bad glass of wine, whether the bus driver was driving too fast or two slow, whether any if them have just been dumped, whether they played well last week (this one can go either way) whether any of them forgot their iPod and most importantly what happens in the first 2 minutes of the match.

Is Wales a country or a principality?
Might be why they get away with it?

Easy Bath, that's a bit political and not really a rugby myth busted.

Is Pacific Islands the right term or is that wrong as well? Should we call them Fitongoa?

The ball went from behind the line to in front of the line so it is a forward pass.

I was expecting some of that.
Forwards are we? Its actually amazing how many front-row forwards can move beyond fast-walking now.The game has changed. These fat-barstewards are getting far more dynamic and fit.
I blame Woody.

The only rugby players with an 8 man bodyguard. Rough up a forward and his mates will help him - the props if he's a hooker etc. Somebody might look out for an outside back. But touch the scrum half and their entire pack will make the rest of your game hell.

I figure the collective term for a bunch of islands in the Pacific Ocean should be fairly straightforward .
A South Sea Islander is either (a) a character in an R. L. Stephenson novel or (b) a slightly offensive reference to 19th century slavery in parts of Australia (admittedly there are a couple of terms for the same thing that are worse).
(sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine).

Martyn Madden. World class is taken in it's literal astronomy term of 'being in the same class as a planet'. He is rated world class by virtue of having a gravitational pull equal to that of a small planet.

Not quite 50, but the best part of 40. Brought a smile to my face on an otherwise dark day

Its only 40 metres, but it was a pretty important try, and was scored by a prop forward.

All these examples of big lumbering fatties scoring from 50 (and in the real fatties cases it's 40, but they're real fatties, so respec')
Here's an example for Gibson that will not only contradict him, but he'll have a smile on his face watching it.
And 50m? Please. 70m is where it's at.
