Chris Arreola got Molina out of there in less than a round. Im not about to proclaim him as three times as good as Joshua. Its not about denying Joshua anything as much as calling something for what it us. Molina is a journeyman level boxer, who by all accounts turned up and merely cowered for a couple of rounds without offering any resisitance. That sort of thing being packaged and marketed as ppv material and evidence of the next big thing in boxing is not particuarly good.

I dont dispute Joshua is a talent. I hope he is the future, although the division is in such bad shape that even with Joshua in there its far from bright. I dont think its particularly good for me as a boxing fan seeing these uncompetitve fights being sold as ppv, phoney world titles being marketed as the real deal or having Joshua appear like a media trained stooge reminding everyone what a humble down to earth guy he is at every opportunity. Its cynical and phoney.

I look forward to the kind of fights that will reveal whether Joshua is the going to be the future rather than the marketing on the back of mismatches. I want the promoters and networks involved to deliver fights worthy of the billing. This should begin in 2017 now hopefully. Klitschko should represent the actual introduction to big time heavyweight boxing for Joshua.

Has he got a job as a milkman?

Haven't seen what he said BF... but you make it sound like he's admitted he hasn't delivered so far. If so, it might be the first thing he's said I agree with.

I'm hoping he doesn't think bellew haye is delivering, unless delivering steaming turds counts.

He said exactly that

Basically can't keep putting mismatches on for bucket loads of money it's gonna stop

Much like pbc is also gonna step up

2017 is gonna be a good year

Interesting, so is he offering money back to all those people who forked out for fights... that he's now admitting were mismatches?

... and looking forward, haye bellew isn't a mismatch for shed loads of money? Very Happy

Like you say let's hope he delivers. I'll pay for Joshua klitschko, a legitimate big fight.

Won't watch another one of his bouts. Only three fights I'm interested is Wilder, Wlad, and Ortiz.

Anyone else think Wlad may just be looking for one last payday?

I think Hearn is lining up Wlad then Haye for Joshua.

Based on Whyte's showing against Chisora and the fact that he's Joshua's best win, leaves me to think Joshua is far from proven. He could be anything from fringe world level now to some sort of beast who is unbeatable.

I would add to this debate, and I hate to be defending Hearn, but making fights with the like of Parker, Browne, Ortiz etc probably isn't easy- AJ isn't then only HW with a promoter that wants to protect his cash cow!

Hearn needs to step up his competition

No way dave Allen should be in the ring with him
