Poor decision from Heaslip to carry there - he was very isolated.
The likes of SOB and Henderson have completely stepped up this half.

Almost exceptional by Kearney, very good defence from Maitland.

Kearney, vintage run. Beautiful. Shame to go into touch (excellent tackle) but a great run.

I have never seen a player who can carry consecutively like CJ Stander.

Aww, How many times has this happened - the raging start, followed by the drooping finish? And then there's the rugby...

Ireland look much more structured in the second half, its why I said that I felt Schmidt was out thought by Cotter in the first half. Schmidt has certainly changed tactics in the second half and Scotland are struggling to stay in this.

That ruck was poor. Scotland could easily take this here. Russell's chance for redemption after the Munster game?

Stupid penalty to give away there. Heaslip has not shown the composure I would have expected from a seasoned international.

Well done Scotland, simply better on the day. Completely blew Ireland away in the first half. Ireland stepped up in the second half but the first half is what killed them.

Scotland would like to dedicate that win to mr and mrs Hogg for providing us with two tries. Also to Conor Murray for the inspiration
