Re: Poll - No more Lions Threads.
The ABs could name any 15 and win 3-0 so all these Lions team threads is amusing

Surely:
FB 15 John Gallagher
RW 14 John Kirwan
OC 13 Joe Stanley
IC 12 Warwick Taylor
LW 11 Craig Green
FH 10 Grant Fox
SH 9 David Kirk (c)
N8 8 Wayne Shelford
BF 7 Michael Jones
OF 6 Alan Whetton
RL 5 Gary Whetton
LL 4 Murray Pierce
TP 3 John Drake
HK 2 Sean Fitzpatrick
LP 1 Steve McDowall
Would only win 2-1. After all they are in their 50s and 60s now.

I agree. Let's stop the Ireland bashing threads until after the 6N.

SecretFly, you know we love Ireland but it's just that you guys are in our bad books at the minute. It'll pass and everything will be sweet again soon.

I don't mind a Lions thread, but I'd like to keep it to a single one only, rather than threads for every individual topic that might come to mind!

It's democracy, Ian. Don't kill it. Don't force everyone into the one bedsit. It gets crowded and the fights start. Better to let 'em spread out.

Re: Poll - No more Lions Threads.
Odd thread, odd sentiment.
I've of the opinion it's pretty pointless to be naming any lions XV until after the 6 nations, but I don't see why that means you should outlaw any particular thread or indeed limit it to 1.
I mean, nobody is forced to read or comment on anything, so if you don't like it, just don't do anything.

The British and Irish Lions face a torrid start to their tour of New Zealand with leading All Blacks set to be released to soften up the visitors through the Crusaders and Blues.

That's good - nothing worse than playing weak build up games

Sadly John Drake is dead, so technically that'd be a fine 14
