Q&A with Victor Ubogu
Victor Ubogu.
Following on from the excellent Q&A with Marcel Garvey last week (https://www.606v2.com/t6164-marcel-garvey-qa-answers), I have been chatting via Twitter with Victor. And he has agreed to do a Q&A with us.
As you may know, Victor is an Ex England International and now does a lot of charity work. This is a very kind gesture of him to take time out of his schedule to answer your questions, so I am sure there are loads of things that you are dying to ask him - post them below and I will collate and send.
Thanks
H

Re: Q&A with Victor Ubogu
A light-hearted one to kick things off
Did you play Jonah Lomu Rugby95 on Playstation, and if so what did you think of yourself as a character?
(it's still the best Rugby game ever made after all)

Re: Q&A with Victor Ubogu
Apparently he did a nude interview on Tv, anybody think of any questions to ask him about that?
I think I'll go for one of the generic questions...
Do you still try and work out even though you're no longer playing rugby?

Do you feel that the scrum is becoming devalued in the modern game?
Would you say today's props now look at size and power rather than technique?

Re: Q&A with Victor Ubogu
What was Jeremy Guscott like as a team mate?
What was it like to play Wigan in the cross code games?
Do you consider yourself lucky to have played in the era that you did, spanning the onset of professionalism?
What is the greatest gift rugby has given you?

Who was your toughest scrummaging opponent?
Who did you prefer packing down with in the front row?
(since no-one's ever asked him that )

I know you currently are a host for sports tours. Which other former players would you most like to have on tour with you and why?

Is Gareth Chilcot funny?
Do you miss tge regular Anglo Welsh ties?
What would be your advice to any teenager considering a professional rugby career?
Did anybody get you mixed up with Steve Ojomo, especially people who should have known better.
What is you best scrummaging trick?
Will Bath ever be the force they once were?
What is your view on modernising the Rec or even moving to a purpose built ground?
Who is the biggest character you have played with or against?
Should England do better internationally given the resources at their disposal?
What does tge future hold for rugby?
Would you he interested in talking to the IRB about updating the laws of the scrum?

Should SCW take over as England's performance guru?
Would he knock English rugby into the twenty-teens given that the Premiership clubs are collectively holding themselves back in Europe?

I am sending the questions to Victor tomorrow, so if you have any last minute ones you want to ask, please do so now.
Re: Q&A with Victor Ubogu
Have you officially entered the debate on Bath developing the Rec using the online consultation option?
What (if any) are your thoughts on what would be best for the club and/or the city, or are the two inevitably mutually inclusive?

You now run a sporting hospitality company. Which is your favourite sport/event (other than rugby) that you are involved in?
One of the hospitality events you organise is Polo. Can you ride a horse?!
