It's still better than taking her to Greggs. Marginally, but still.

Re: 6CW Chat v18
It's too greasy for me.
Sometimes I'm in the mood for grease and it shoots up the list
Christmas bake is seasonal, but I'm on it every other day once its in.
Not had a Katsu chicken bake - sounds good

I'm looking forward to Greggs Friday with the kids tomorrow before school although I rarely eat anything from there anymore. Same order every week
Sausage sandwich for my son
Bacon & Sausage sandwich for my daughter
Coffee for me
I had a ham and cheese toastie from there after a stag do a few months ago and you couldn't eat it for about 3 hours after it coming out of the oven - Hotter than a McDonalds apple pie!!

Re: 6CW Chat v18
Yeah I work from home every Friday so do the school run - We walk when the weathers ok and its a 90 minute round trip with the obvious requirement for a half hour Greggs stop
I say work from home - Normally its work avoidance at all costs - My daughter doesn't go to school till September so she stays at home with me and Friday is normally:
Greggs
Shopping
Park
Lunch at a local place of her choosing
Coffee break
Slow stroll to pick up my son
Sweet shop visit
Swimming
Evening Meal of the kids choosing
Gym(Just for me)
Collapse at home with the wife and a chicken based meal
So Rock & Roll

Love it. My Friday is quite similar from 12 onwards. I'm really going to miss it when she goes to school. Got 18 months of it yet though

Re: 6CW Chat v18
Generally I think the Seasonal stuff is crap from Greggs, I hate spicy stuff in pasties/pies though, it's unnatural.
I also briefly worked for Greggs in 2015 so this coming from a place of authority.
1. Cream Filled Iced Finger
2. Bacon & Sausage Butty (w/ketchup)
3. Beef & Vegetable Pasty (Cornish Pasty)
4. Iced Finger
5. Sausage, Bean & Cheese Melt
Honourable mentions go to Steak Bakes (but these are only nice really warm), Jammie Dodger biscuit, the now not sold Tuna Crunch Bloomer.

Dunnes only have a hot counter, so you are looking at breakfast rolls, or Hot chicken rolls, chicken wings, ribs, wedges stuff like that
