We considered Croatia this summer but thought we'd gamble on Turkey (gamble as in possibly getting shot).

ED, Beers.
Got some PM's back for the Tree. Sure I can't convince you two to take part? Be a shame to leave you both out. I don't think it is wrong to say that ED's promos are consistently high standard. Same goes for JJ.

Re: 6CW Chat v18
To be honest Twist - I'm just consistently happy with what I do now, and I know when something is below par myself. Like right now, I'm fully aware that my output is lower than usual and not where it should be as a world champion so don't need telling that.
Likewise, if I think someone could use a little feedback, I'd typically just drop them a PM. I'm not too keen on it being so public - even if it is anonymous.
Nothing personal or poo-pooing the idea. It's just not for me.

Re: 6CW Chat v18
I just don't care for it, Twist.
I do it for fun, i'm not really interested in the plaudits of others. If my promos are good, i get good storylines. If they are sh*t then I don't. If i'm unsure on my character I go to Chris or Mat. If i'm struggling with writers block, i'd go to Hero, Demon or JJ for a bit of direction.
I think it's great that you're willing to put the effort in, but to me it's a glorified popularity contest and one i'm not fussed about being involved in.

Re: 6CW Chat v18
Good luck Beer whenever it is
Throw away (or hide) your bathroom scales
Take a photo of yourself before instead
Buy loads of Tupperware and Prep your ingredients
Cook the meals that you can batch cook and freeze for lunches during the week
Those are all Joe's tips rehashed - my own tip is 95% cocoa chocolate. 2 squares for a snack. Does the trick for me in terms of a chocolate hit with a cup of coffee.
Just stick at it and don't beat yourself up over a bad day or a treat day - I have a takeaway curry every Friday night, I just make sure I do a HIIT before it. It really does work.
Also - how are your knees these days? Some of the HIITs are absolute knee killers I find - and I've not had problems with knees before. You might want to adapt some if you still have troubles.

Re: 6CW Chat v18
Ahh wish i had did that, i took abhalf dsy off work (morning) so had to go in telling everyone i had failed lol.
Yes if you can do a hitt session in the morning, yiu birn more fat when doing fasted excercise. Also means yiur less likely to sit down in evening and then decide you cant be bothered.
When excersing give it everything, its only for 20 mins but you really do feel better after words.
And if you can, prep your meals in advance so they just need heating up mid week.
Other than that, there will be days when yiu go off plan, but like one day off excercie wont make you fit. One bad day off eating every now and again wont make you fat.
Also drink like 3 litres of water a day,

How do you do your lunchtime meals? You're both office boys like me aren't you?
My knees are alright Demon, my Achilles is shagged. Do you have an exercise mat? Weights etc?

Re: 6CW Chat v18
Yeah I'm an office hermit
My lunchtime meals are either batch cooked stuff from the freezer (the chicken pie is immense for this) or something that takes about 5-10 mins to cook the night before - like the Chorizo, Chicken and Mozzarella dish or Salmon Teriyaki from the Shift book. Sometimes I go to the salad bar at Morrisons and chuck some feta and a load of deli meat on it if I wasn't able to prep something.
I've got an exercise mat. I haven't progressed to weights yet. I'm not as committed as Nay and taken a more casual approach to shift I need to move on soon though

Re: 6CW Chat v18
Depends, do you have a microwave at your work. Either make double portions or what you had the night for dinner and heat it up or you can make things like a chicken and avacado salad. So that it can be eaten cold.
Pm me yiur email address and i will send you a copy of my month one plan pif yiu like. The portion sizes are tailored based on my answers to there questionaires but will give you a good idea
