You sure you don't want to sell Sexton Prop?
My offer still stands from yesterday

Keep teamsheets coming in please.
I know I keep saying it but I WILL get round to updating everything at some point.
My plans with the league going forward is to ommit Northampton and Clermont and issue each side, say £80 mil and let them choose the players through foreigns as normal. (Means a lot more work for you Pooly!)
With regards to helping out the lesser sides there are two options - give them a higher budget or let them have more bids a day. Thoughts?
For future fixtures when you are due to play Northampton or Clermont you will get an automatic 20 - 0 win. (No bonus point)
There are only 8 weeks left so let's go out with a bang

All sounds good to me fella!
If its easier, i'll just merge Clermont's squad into the Saracens, saves everyone the hassle of buying players!
Seriously though, if pooly doesn't fancy the extra work load, i don't mind organising a draft. Set player prices and a budget, say £80m then 10th team gets first pick, 9th second etc. until cash has run out, just an option

I'm thinking, if we did a draft then we wouldn't need to worry about budgets and improving bids. Maybe do a backs and a forwards set of drafts and the rest are released to foregins?

YEAH to the draft!
Im championing it because:
Its easy - no budgeting
Its fair - lower teams first picks and no outbidding
Its new - spice it up a bit, now that squads are settled
Its quick - don't mind taking charge, im a loser, thats always online

Good stuff, im working away on it now, I reckon 2 picks each per team, then rest back to foreigns.

I'd agree plus to speed it up we can do 1 back 1 forward so basically it should take about 2 days to do as you can pick both at once!
Or....we could just say each team has to pick 1 back and 1 forward and have 2 rounds so it's up to the manager whether they go for a star player in 1-8 or 9-15 first.

DRAFT UPDATE!
Right then fellas, have spent 30 mins or so sorting out a possible draft, with rules, players, picks etc etc. Its similar to what we had in the legends game, which worked quite well i thought.
Let me know your thoughts, cheers

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage (2)
Ok cool, good to know.
There is actually a reason to do it this time, with the league shrinking to ten teams, rather then just blogs pushing it with silly rules because he sold too many players and didn't have 22!
Hoping that the boss man pull would be about to cast his eye! Maybe could get started tonight if that was the case, reckon bear will be on later at some point for his pick

Hi.
Everyone happy with Bear's proposal?
I've nothing major on tomorrow, a crabby admin course in the morning so quite happy for a late one to make sure everything is sorted for tomorrow.

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage (2)
I'd say that although the front row are all good players, not sure any of them are top ten in their position. Wouldn't want to be starting more then one of them each week in my opinion. Jurys still out on Britz on this game, strangely!
Kank - for me, lazy player, too often on the wing and too lightweight. Would have Alberts Spies Vermuelen Johnson Roussow, maybe even Joubert ahead of him for 8.
Dowson - i really like and rate him, how he isn't in the wc squad, i don't know, especially with worsely in there! jesus!
Backs look sorted now fella, now need to win them some ball!

If I can't get one of two fly-halfs in the draft.
Shall I go for a back-up scrum half to Kelleher instead only have 1 makes sense really doesn't it?

Here's one for the rugby players amongst us
What makes you a rugby player?
I have 5 answers
1.Considering yourself to be a man of perfect physical speciman despite having a diet of Fredos and Stella Artois
2.Knowing most doorstaff on night outs in your current or local residency,
3.Looking forward to 3 days away (Tour) more than anything in the world
4.Whilst drunk not been able to resist the urge to bust a move whilst with fellow rugby players
5..The uncontrollable urge to get naked whilst heavily intoxicated

8. Agreeing to dress as Viking Raiders for a weekend in Leeds. (Tour 2011)
- highlight of this was the famous naked mile which follows the game on a Saturday in which on the way round we noticed a large bouncey castle obstacle course in which the 3 of us involved made our aim to navigate through naked and half cut whilst wrestling with others
