Matchroom start new US adventure
Eddie Hearn has launched Matchroom US, he is trying to get a foothold in the US market. The first signing in the venture is the middleweight Danny Jacobs. He has signed a multi fight agreement with Hearn and HBO.
Jacobs will be returning in New York in November.
How do we see this going? Will Hearn crack the US?

I think he will. Has a great platform in Sky behind him. Has the money. He has some great fighter's under him already which people will see as a plus. Joshua to come stateside....that in itself should crack the market.
I also like Jacobs. Brilliant fighter, brilliant story. Think he batters BJS.
Plus....means I can see more international fights on Sky and not Boxoffice.
Enjoyed last night's fight with Linares and Campbell. Very good scrap.

I think your right to be honest, it's interesting as AJ is tied to Showtime and Jacobs is with HBO now after signing with Hearn, wonder which US network he will eventually side with predominantly. Also wonder if Haymon is involved as Jacobs manager still
