Fifa 18
Anyone else got their copy already?
Really quite enjoying it this year with Squad Battles now an option for offline playing.
Gameplay is a lot better aswell it's a lot slower then normal and more difficult to defend so until you get used to it expect to concede a lot

I really don't understand how people pay what is basically an annual subscription to pretty-much the same game.

I think that's how it should be thought of really, an annual subscription that costs around £4 per month.Pr4wn wrote:I really don't understand how people pay what is basically an annual subscription to pretty-much the same game.

I've only got it so far on EA Access but it's hilarious on the new transfer dealings in manager mode when the other manager walks out on a negotiation and it zooms in your manager's dejected face.

A very reasonable £4 a month.

I know fellas - some in their mid 30's/early 40's - that pump hundreds of pounds every year on that Ultimate Team tripe. Can never get my head around it.
I played the demo a few weeks back and found it slow and clunky. PES is king or so I'm told? Nothing beats 1992 Sensible Soccer..

Yeah the kids/adults who spunk 10 times the price of the game on FUT baffle me
The game itself is worth £4 a month to me

Never mind Sensi Soccer, Sensi World of Soccer and you could manage too (Juan Jose Borelli was the best winger ever)
When you look at it as a year long subscrition it's not actually that bad, still not getting it till it's about a tenner though :-)

That's it, it's the cost of a pint a month (depending upon where you get a pint from, London wise perhaps a half).

FIFA 99 and the European Dream League was the best. Also, slide tackling the keeper when he had the ball.

I'm not getting it at £50. Not worth it. GTA is the only game that is, although I may be tempted by the new Red Dead.
Won't be any worse a game in a couple months or after Christmas when the price drops.
More interested in Cuphead...

EA boss states they're looking at a subscription model now for Fifa.
