Feel sorry for Miky in all this. No excuse....rules are clear and we agreed to them on signing up to this league. If you don't read them then that's your issue.

If you get Rashford I think the fairest thing will be to take away your other foreign for this week

If Trebs wants Rashford he can have him but I was waiting on the 24 hours to be up to get him as I read the rules and also remembered them from the league that ended only a fortnight ago which had the SAME rule. I would have gone for Jesus otherwise and now cannot because he's gone so I'm the one out of pocket due to someone else's error.

I'm with Twist.....

Trebs signed him but didn't confirm it..I've not read the rules so not sure how clear it is stated. BUT it's rock and hard place, can't threaten to quit just because you miss out on a player

All transfers must be confirmed on the Confirmation page within 24 hours of the original bid.

Not sure why it's not clear enough.

I just think Hero should have maybe reminded Tino and Trebs to confirm their transfers, if he spotted it. Rather than take advantage of it. Especially as he's in a sort of co-runner role.

I only bent the rules because Trebs would leave and I cant be arsed with the drama.

If anyone else breaks a rule, deal with it as we are all adults here. Rashford is trebs player and lets move on

But it's not a bidding war any more, as we've said it's forst come first served.
So I would argue that signing the player on the tp page is sufficient.

I apologise that I was on for all of two minutes yesterday, it was a well timed loo break that allowed it. As I explained previously, I had a long day on the production line.

But it's not. It's in the rules that you need to confirm it within 24 hours.

You should have been reminded of it rather than taken advantage of IMO.

That's just not true. You didn't have the money for Jesus Laugh

Plus I released Ulloa and got Jesus in by about 20 seconds past 9am. And that's only cos there's a 15 second delay between posts.

I agree with everyone!

I don’t get why you would release a day before Lawyers. You could have potentially just done yourself out of 50% of a players value, for the sake of waiting 24 hours. Even my missus has more patience!

I think a cap on lawyer values is a good idea for longevity.

I don't care about youth squad tbh but if it makes others happy.
What exactly would it be?

Sign up to x youth players
Can be promoted to senior squad at end of season - once promoted cannot be sent back to youth team
Exempt from injuries
Max budget for youth?
Must be born on or after 10/10/1996 (U21)
Must make at least 2 starts to get a transfer fee?

I like this additional proviso.

I think a hybrid of Hero’s suggestion and yours.

Born on or after 1st Jan 1997
Stays in youth team for 3 calendar months minimum
Can be promoted anytime after that. One promoted they cannot go back to the youth team.
Must make two first team starts to earn a TM value
TM value is frozen at the time of promotion to first team.
Outside the 25 man squad.
Excluded from injuries/Lawyers/releases
Can be traded domestically.
Max youth squad of 15 players.

Also max purchase of 2 per week.

Is it worth also saying the 15 must form the basis of a team I.e you can’t just buy 15 strikers.

It could be done by setting positions, for example....

Youth Team
GK
Reserve GK

RB
LB
CB
CB
Reserve Def

RM/RW
LM/LW
CM
CM
Reserve Mid

First off I think we will cap TM prices at 30m until the end of the first season as noone has disagreed really.

Secondly we will do a youth system, Hero could you write up a rules section on this so I can paste it in as it appears noone is opposed to it and its not forced
