Re: Melbourne City
No worries. I don't think he is worth paying more than.
Now we are getting to grips with the custom tactics, I think I am better served playing to my current players strengths and getting that to work, rather than pay over the odds for someone else. Certainly cheaper doing it that way!!

Re: Melbourne City
I think it is over the odds.
It's not a case that he is a better FIFA player than his rating. You have got a tactic that works brilliantly for him and the team, but at the end of the day the computer is only going by a set of numbers. There isn't any form in reality.
Therefore, it's justifiable to think I can get the same out of other cheaper players with similar stats if I can also get the tactics right to suit their strengths.
And if I'm not good enough to get the best out of them, then the same will apply to Willian. And therefore the goals and assists for you are meaningless for me.

Re: Melbourne City
Maybe in a few weeks when I haven't managed to get my tactics working for my current players!
The other thing with Nani is playing both sides. I am close to playing him this week, but even if he is on the bench, its probably only an injury to CF (with Reus moving centrally), LW or RW and he's in

Re: Melbourne City
No thanks. I want to keep Reus more than I want to buy Willian
I can do an exchange with Nani, Shaqiri or Verdi, but would only want to pay the cash difference between TM value and £32m.
Actually in Verdi's case, I have a lawyer for £19.8m, so I would only pay £12.2m cash

Nani is worth £6.75m, so it would be £25.25m + him
TBH I'm not 100% in it either, so I think I'll leave it sorry

I lose out way too much tm value wise there. And it'd have to be a really really good offer if I were to sell any of my Madrid players tbh.

I'll be honest I would still reject it even if you offered me Willian + Martinez for Asensio. I would want an offer equaling his updated tm value tbh.

I have the best part of £40m. My two TP targets come to less than that so I’m not looking for cash.
Therefore I’ll keep hold of Reus.

I don’t want to sell him so it’s going to take something as astronomic as a straight swap for Firmino or Martinez+Willian

No thanks, he's worth a lot more to me than his TM value, one of these players whose FIFA value is a lot higher than TM, given how many positions he covers at a strong rating

Re: Melbourne City
I can see where you stand. I’m not one who really likes releasing players unless I really have to. I hate writing off 25% of a players value.
So I am willing to pay the £20m value for Promes but would want to use a winger (ie Nani) to free up a squad place and knock his frozen TM value off the price. He is £6.75m which would be £13.25m cash so I rounded it up. Cards on the table, I would go to £14m max.
Only other option I can see is David Villa instead of Nani, and I’d pay £18m on top with him.
