Depends if Tolisso is well thought of here. If he is, why lawyer him at any price?

Trouble is Afro..

Flip it on its head and think of it this way.

We allowed lawyers on star players from the off, player prices go up, people lawyer big players for example Tolisso for £31.5m, release and lawyer the other allowance for the week..then boom all of a sudden you have Kroos or Verratti or someone of that ilk in the league within the first few weeks. It has happened in other leagues where players have gotten lawyer offers a week after they enter the league i think it happened with Dybala for Nando once.

Longevity wise, i couldnt really see other options, i want this league to last a long time but i felt like the best way to handle that was the route we went down. I know big players come into the league eventually and im prepared for that but I was hoping for it to happen gradually, realising there will be a bit of a void where you wont be able to upgrade past a certain level until the end of the season.

I'm happy to wait on Werner and Dembele until the end of the season to cash in on them. Expecting Dembele to be around the 70m mark based on what Mbappe went to, so my 50m investment turns into 115m come the end of the season.

Eg what happens if you keep getting Lawyers for Tolisso. Accept the lower price or reject and have less lawyer sales than others

It's why we shouldn't have had transfers and squads before the updates xx

Idea time.
Allow managers to make upto 5 players not for sale, they're then exempt from lawyers each week so everyone still gets 2 lawyers that they will probably accept.

Not opposed to this but only if there's unanimous agreement.

Despite my two lawyers offers being for players I don't want to sell, the fact is in reality you wouldn't be able to pick and choose who you can and can't receive offers for, so I don't think we need to add that here.

If you're that desperate to lose particular players then just release them at 75%.

Generally looking for pex to refresh my squad a bit.

Honestly it's a punt at that price. Looks an exceptional talent but realistically is he going to get much in the way of real game time this season apart from an occasional league cup game? Sancho who I just got for 4.3m I'd say is better value as Dortmund have just recalled him from the u17 world cup so he can play this weekend for them.

Sheep answers to me by 4.30 prompt.

1. Who will be the Premier League top goalscorer?
2. Which side have been the biggest PL overachievers this season?
3. Name a F1 Grand Prix other than Monaco or Silverstone
4. Name a former X Factor judge
5. Other than FIFA, name a console game which has come out this year.
6. Name any foreign team that play in red.
7. A fruit that is delicious in a cake.
8. Name a former manager in these leagues.

Totally get that. I just think he has been exceptional during the U17 World Cup and he may well get some substitute appearances during the busy winter schedule.

My hope is he will "do a Rashford" - come on the pitch and be sensational and then there will be calls (stupid or otherwise) for him to be included in teams more and maybe even a punt for a World Cup squad. Let's face it, England need a bit of creativity.

I agree it's a lot of ifs. But with Barca sniffing around (Gomes hasn't extended his contract) and with a great u17 WC finish it may force Jose to give him more of a chance.
