Yes, was in the office yesterday. Proud of the way everyone moved forward past thread split. Then had the office Xmas party which was very good (stayed relatively sober, so not hungover, just tired). It was at the NEC - only of these multi-company things. About 2000 people, with a Cirque de Soleil type show, and indoor fairground rides. All really good fun.

Sounds good, Jules, our works do terminated at least one guys job, so standard really.

Welcome back, ironically your absence left a vast void on this thread which kind of made it as if you'd never left. How goes the bumgardening? Morning to one and all. Interesting morning at the coop this morning en route to work. Saw a drunken guy sleeping in the doorway of the co op at 5: 59 this morning, and was trying to find a way past the awkwardness and avoid stepping over him when the shop opened at 6am. An alarm sounded on his mobile, he promptly got up, ran a hand over his face then wiped it with his sleeve. He switched the alarm off, then he got the key out and opened the door and switched the lights on. He's the guy running the shop. That my friends is dedication to getting sozzled at all costs.

Trying to make a living. Summer mad and really good but lived a bit beyond my means. The cold spell since late November has meant things have slowed down much earlier than last year.

Cricket has been dreadful which has contributed to a malaise. Still played indoor myself at the weekend. We lost but good to get a game. Wasn't needed much during the season as 1's ran away with league again and 2's won theirs as well. Youngsters don't believe the club pi55head could play once upon a time

I was worried that Hero would michaels the thread. Good to see sean step in to prevent it.

The teams wouldn't win anything without a decent wicket to play on.
