Thus Michael Young cannot be the same as Micky Young. Looks similar but is playing nothing like Micky of last season (or the rest of his previous career).
Saints falling apart again. Getting embarrassing for them this season.

Sam He's playing like the M.Young that first came on the scene before he left for Tigers. It seems the Dean Richards rejuvenation effect may be well under way with him as well.

Re: Prem ROund 17
Well Richards has had a couple of seasons with him to rejuvenate him.
Glaws had a lot of strength on the bench and it's making an impact. Afoa, Slater and Twelvetrees all on and upping the tempo.

Re: Prem ROund 17
Glaws must be sick that they couldn't convert at least one of their tries ... none was a particularly easy kick but they should have managed at least one ... but a great result for Falcons ...

Or kicked one of the multitude of penalties in front of the posts.

Indeed but then you can't know how the game would have played out as it's a different restart, whereas a conversion doesn't change that ... although of course had Glaws been ahead at the end Falcons might have played differently after the last restart ...

Congrats Falcons!
Interesting comments from the Saints coaching team re North, when asked why he wasn't playing today Gaffney came out and said he basically should be but hasn't turned up. Not good from the North, bit also implies there's something really wrong at Saints.

Yes I saw that. Depends on who you give the benefit of the doubt to but someone is in the wrong

Another week another Greg Bateman try. He adds Adams to the back three players he's stepped for a score this season. Simply outrageous for a man as wide as he is tall.

Great pick up and try. Must be leading the top try scorers for props this season. 5 in total.
Tv certainly getting back into form, great run again.

I don't think it's fair that a team with a questionable salary cap is allowed to bring in players from other Prem teams on loan!

Sarries have loaned Coman from LI for the rest of the season.
Sarries may just be using some of their injury dispensation to cover his wages. It's not like they've signed a big name.
Wasps are the club this season that's had a slap on the wrist for being marginally over the salary cap.

Baldwin? That's an injury because he got hammered by two PI monsters one after the other.

Re: Prem ROund 17
That second half is the best I've seen Manu in a fair while. He's still a long way from his best but in the second half he was increasingly running at the arm not the shoulder which is something we've seen too little of on his latest return from injury.
That takes Tigers up to 5th and within striking distance of Falcons.

Big performance from the forward pack. Very worried by Brendon going off.
Agree with the comments on Manu. We did change the game plan and use him more in the second half as we went direct instead of trying to stretch the Worcester defence. He's still got the x factor he just needs some more game time to refind his form consistently.

Close - it's Cowan not Coman on loan ...

Big changes needed at Bath, really dont understand what is going on there, dreadful all round performance from players who do not deserve to wear BlueBlack&White. Really fed up with the whole setup I might move my support to Exeter, true community club

Actually Coman would have been better for LI as he's injured atm

Re: Prem ROund 17
Great win for Quin's.
We desperately needed it not just to stay away from the bottom but also to get some confidence back in the club.
Lots of fighting talk in the week building up to it, with players and coaches repeatedly calling out the fans for not supporting and being too negative. Seemed to work as the team were pumped and looked out to prove a point. Hopefully this will shut up some of the Facebook warriors.

While watching the nominations for Try of the week, I noticed that Franklin Gardens looked barely half full. Was that the weather or supporter dissatisfaction?

Saracens backrow problems are really quite bad.
No Clark,Burger,Billy,Vailanu,Rhodes.
So bad that we had Isiekwe in the backrow and Earl playing.
Admittedly I think both were 2 of the better performers vs Exeter but it's not ideal.
The Saracens squad is really stretched at the moment. When Sarries have to play Spurling you know it's bad!
It's nice to see some youngsters getting a run out though there's just not enough firepower in the team at the moment.
Disappointed by some of the tactically inept play by some of the more experienced Saracens players - kicking the ball away is fine in some circumstances but when starved of possession still kicking it away is foolish.
Exeter did what they do well - retain possession, retain possesion, retain possession - nothing flashy but highly effective.
