Try for Collett.
Really rate him he just can't stay fit. Hope he gets a good run injury free.
Just showed his defensive power smashing someone before aswell.

That shonky discipline just after the break really cost you. Falcons dominated the first half. The repeated offsides was just ridiculous, you wouldn't excuse a schoolboy side for that.

The standard is pretty awful. Handling...movement....terrible. We do not look a good side at all. If we we come away with anything I'd be surprised.

Bristol aren't great...BUT
It's some of the best basic rugby we've played in a long time. We really need to fix the stupid penalties...

Bristol are worse - haven't seen them this bad for ages - can't make anything stick at all.

I've not watched a live game for a while if I'm honest GF. Maybe it's better than what you've seen! Just saying what i see.

I thought Falcons looked pretty cohesive in the first half. Second half the wheels have come off and both sides now look scrappy.

Sgt....
Trust me, its better .
There are genuine roots of improvement...just the basics look better in certain bits.
Lots to work on though...but just gives a bit of hope...

Down to 13 men messed us up. Not really got it back together plus Bristol have livened up a bit.

I think both sides must be into double figures for handling errors and penalties conceded. Doesn't look particularly wet out there but both teams juggling it like it's a bar of soap.

Really good to see Sam Stuart having a good game - he was my POTM. I can remember him as a kid at Quins who had real promise but got badly derailed by two horrendous knee injuries. Great to see him playing so well again

The two centres have been class.
Carerras is developing into one of the best wingers in the prem.

Well I'll blooming well take that.
And THAT gives me genuine hope that we can develop into a team to be respected.

Forced error though. The Falcons intensity in defence was night and day compared to what it has been. Orlando and Moroni are absolute quality, time and again they were crucial to the team efforts. Orlando was the go forward and Moroni closed down a lot of what Bristol tried to do out wide. Moroni was fantastic at doing that for Tigers last season as well.

Re: Prem Round 4
Agree Sam.
The next level in quality...and intensity. And Carreras is learning that aswell.
I thought Collett was excellent tonight as per usual and both props...Trevor his usual workhorse performance...and Brocklebank really got at Sinckler (who wasn't having his best day anyway)
And Sean Robinson was his usual Mr consistency...if he played for a big side he'd be lauded all the time.

Dire game....Bristol were terrible. I'll take the points, great finish to the game. We don't look very good I must add, but Bristol were awful.

Re: Prem Round 4
Moroni is one of the best centres in rugby. His defensive work is exceptional, on par with Harris and Am. Whilst in attack he has really good distribution and vision, a kicking game and has the pace to have played wing internationally. It was gutting to see him leave Tigers. Falcons got a gem.
He did this in his first week at the club 6 days after playing the Boks as well. This can't have been far off turning up for a captains run and putting the shirt on!

Re: Prem Round 4
I wonder if Sinckler has remembered who Brocklebank is yet....
I've debated with many on here for a long time I don't rate him and yesterday was his lowest point. Woeful and his attitude utterly stunk.
Jones has apparently said he's not been selected as he needs to get games in and match fitness but on that showing he's so far away from an international prop...
Interesting to see the Bristol fans think he's actually away at the end of the season...

Didn't see the match but Sinckler is comfortably our best tight head.

Sinckler was our best tighthead before his move to Bristol, but he’s gone backwards since he’s been there and other options are emerging.
I always think props should be very careful about changing clubs as it seems to take them at least a couple of seasons to adapt to a new scrum. There have been some notable exceptions (Wilco Louw replaced Sinck at Quins with barely a hitch, and Genge seems to have made a good start at Bristol), but it’s generally a tricky thing to do.

Stuart was as good for England by the end of the 6N and was solid over the summer. On form Sinckler is a step up but he's not on form. Against Falcons he struggled to make any impact, that's not England starter form. Given the current level of competition he might not make the squad.
