AB de Villiers retires from all international cricket

South African superstar has surprisingly announced he's calling time on his magnificent international career. Was so sure the would get to the 2019 World Cup. For my money the best and most talented batsman of the modern era. A sad day for all cricket fans

No real suprise. Was always going to happen sooner rather than later... At 34 he will still be around for IPL etc, has said he won't move abroad I.E. Kolpak, and wants to remain playing for Titans, done a lot for South Africa and will be missed from their white ball sides, yes a hole in red ball cricket but they have done without him a lot recently, and Bavuma etc waiting in the wings, good decision from AB, not fair to pick and choose games, this is the best way forward for both parties

He gave the impression, that he lost interest.....
ABDV was too much talent, cricket came too easy to him & hence didn't make a good captain too.....was too frivolous as a captain...and once he was removed, he started losing interest
