Isner is so rubbish. Can't do anything apart from serve. He shouldn't be allowed to play professionally as his pathetic style kills tennis

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
Great volley from Isner. Quite funny watching both men creaking their way to the net. That point was almost played in slow motion.

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
Anderson holds with little fuss and we are level at 22-22. He begins the next game hitting a return winner and a shot down the line to fashion a love 30 lead.

Isner holds.
Apparently the 16 year old semi final is 18 -17 to Jack Draperstown in the final set, after 4 hours.

Anderson wins in six hours 36 minutes winning 26-24 in the fifth set. A lovely embrace between the pair. As Mac says shame there has to be a loser. Great match and great drama.

After the first semi and how long that ran you kind of feel this is a semi cum Final. The winner of this semi I'd be gobsmacked if they don't win on Sunday.

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
Think your probably right. Anderson will be cream cracked after that semi final. And you wonder how much he has left in his tank.
Rafa Nova though could last a while, and if it lasts long will that hamper the preparation.
Rafa 1-0.

Level at 2-2 after 18 minutes. Given the usual length of the sets between this pair I would say unless one of them wins in straight sets it won't finish tonight.

Nadal doesn't look like he usually does. Wonder if the 1st semi final has effected him a bit.
Djokovic looks really up for this. Holds his serve to win the 1st set, 6-4.

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
As someone referred to earlier though playing under the roof suits Novak more than Rafa. And also I would say that Novak is slightly the better grass court player than Rafa. But still this is impressive considering where Novak was mentally and physically earlier in the year.

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
Does playing under a roof affect players more?
People I know who follow tennis more, love Djokovic and say he's agurably the best player ever. Would you agree?
Nadal goes 1-0 in the 2nd set.

Rafa saves break point in the first game of the second set to hold. I would say, watching this, we have the old Novak back.

Nadal goes 1-0 in the 2nd set.
It does as the natural elements such as sun and wind are taken out of the equation and the ball travels quicker through the air which suits some players more than others. I go purely on records and slam wins and would have to put Federer down as the best player ever. Novak is right up there in the top five certainly though.

It is Novak doing the pressing as he forces another two break point but Rafa sees them off to hold to lead 2-1 in the second set.

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
Ah, that explains thing.
As a non tennis fan, I would probably put Federer 1st. Dose different surfaces impact on it? As Nadal is probably the greatest clay court player I've seen. But Federer and Djokovic probably all round, whatever surface.
Nadal fighting back now, held his serve twice despite being close to being broken. Then breaks Djokovic.
Samprass would have to be up there. Personally my favorite player when I was younger was Agassi.

Different surfaces do play to various players strengths. Rafa is untouchable on clay. Roger (usually) is topdog on grass and Novak's strength is on hard courts I'd say.

Re: WIMBLEDON 2018
Judging by how long both sets have taken so far, if Nadal wins this set it doesn't look like it's going to Finnish tonight. Who does that favour in your opinion.
Nadal for the 3rd time has a break point in this game. And takes it.Nadal breaks straight away. 4-2.
