Does the BBC need to get its act together on Rugby coverage?
Pre-season games have started, not a must to report on, but at least they could publish the results. Had to go Walesonline ( ) to find the result of the Ospreys / Saints game. As you can imagine not a lot said about how Saints played, just how inexperienced the Ospreys team were and how good some of their individuals are.

It would be nice if pre-season games got a bit more coverage, but they are just training games really.
Also BBC did coverage, on the Welsh rugby page thy had one article covering the scores for the Dragons, Ospreys and Blues.

I was more put out by the incorrect use of ‘it’s’ and absence of a question mark in the article title.
Could the mods get their act together and correct these offences, please?

I see no reason for the Beeb to worry about these pre-season games.

Pre-season typos by seasoned 606ers is of course another subject entirely!

I will apologise to the obviously well educated Irish for my "comprehensive" education.
I have to say the "synchronised gloating" was more relief after last season than gloating.
I wasn't expecting comprehensive coverage, but the result might have been a reasonable expectation

You're a good sport, Well-Past-it - especially in having the courage to use Walesonline as your info gatherer.

But, but, but.... you haven’t corrected the title. It’s making me feel queasy just looking at it on the topic list page.

Aye, WOL described Blues as having been mugged off by Tigers when according to them George Fords younger brother Joe slotted a penalty from halfway to win the game. Number of issues with that

BBC should cover tonight's Rag Doll game.. Rugby has great traditions, which sadly are dieing off in the professional game. Good to see, this one is still alive in the form of pre-season games, would just be nice if someone covered it on the TV.

Glad there wasn’t coverage of that game.

Yeah.. didnt see any of the game at all (not even high low lights). Final score was bad, but I guess there wasnt even a descent performance by the Scarlets.
