1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?

Pretty much merry Christmas you filthy animals and if you want to see next Christmas, you will start to improve

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?

No. That is a poisoned chalice. Anybody coming in will need to win multiple PL titles and the CL to stay in the job. Man U have gone from a club that seemingly does things the right way, to one that is still screaming for the 90's and won't give anyone a chance to build again. Not surprised Jose was sacked. More surprised at the names being touted for the job.

3. What have you learned from your last game?

Not to play that formation again. I thought it would work - i was lucky to get a draw.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?

I know I have one guy going up. The others i think will stay the same

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?

A magenta cone light

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?

??? Well I get back ache so sitting awkwardly I suppose

7. Favourite Christmas food?

Boxing Day salad

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?

As soon as the season is over and if you've had a TM increase you'll be sold.

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?

Hell no, probably the hardest job to take in football atm.

3. What have you learned from your last game?

That I need another strong central midfielder and to give up trying 442.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?

Think Gomes has gone up 1 overall but that's about it for me, don't think any have got worse being that nearly everyone I've brought in is under 21.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?

A pedigree bald cat.

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?

Reverse cowgirl.

7. Favourite Christmas food?

Not really festive, but Tesco only have them available as part of their festive platter range which are Tempura Prawns.

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?

January is a new year and a new start, so everyone has a chance of getting a lawyers offer and being sold.

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?

Not after last time. Expectation is so high and the team are so far from meeting it. Its like having to climb the highest mountain, having 10 minutes to do it and Ed Woodward has bought you a pair of roller boots to do it in (albeit they have splashed out on the very best brand of roller boots)

3. What have you learned from your last game?

Don't trust Ska to submit tactics. Game before that, my team can compete on ratings, but everyone will be closely matched now and it will come down to a few things that can tip the game one way or the other.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality

Not a lot. I definitely have one who has dropped in ratings, but beyond that I'm not really sure. I have one target I will still try and get, after being denied by rating differences before.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?

Xbox One for the kids this Christmas. FIFA19 was obligatory, despite neither of them having the slightest interest in it. You have to cater for other people wanting to play it don't you?

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?

Wheelbarrow. I just don't have the strength in my wrists anymore

7. Favourite Christmas food?

Turkey, stuffing and Cranberry sarnie. Make it from fresh crusty bread, soak a third slice of bread in gravy and slap it inside the sarnie.

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?

At the moment, anyone or anything out Pokémon. Every time my back is turned, it gets switched on in my house. If Minecraft was a cartoon character, that would trump Pokémon though, for exactly the same reasons but multiplied by 10

1. Christmas is cancelled if you don’t beat Ollys mob.

2. Poisoned chalice but a bloody well paid one, so what’s the worst that could happen? Could’ve all been a big plan by Jose to get a Christmas break. Woodward should get in the sea too.

3. Think Different, 3-6-1 is the perfect anti football formula.

4. I’ll have a few players increasing only one over 70 though with Fernandez up two to 72. Every little helps.

5. I’m not a fan of Christmas shopping so do most of it last minute, have only bought the make up of make up artists for the misses so far.

6. I think some extra quality at Cb would help.

7. Pigs in blankets or stuffing. It’s a travesty that their reserved for Christmas.

8. Any and all anime type things, also anyone that likes anime.

Turkey is back on the menu, boys!

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?
Formally, no. But I've put feelers out.

3. What have you learned from your last game?
Passing the ball continuously to your own goalkeeper wins games.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?
Not really, the potential for increase is a little more long term.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?
Amazon Fire TV stick thing.

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?
The position of asking innocent press conference questions,

7. Favourite Christmas food?
I like turkey, but pigs in blankets win.

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?
Brock in Pokemon.

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?
You get the morning off lads. Training starts at 3pm on Tuesday.

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?
Why take a backwards step in my career?

3. What have you learned from your last game?
That FIFA 20 needs a new game mode - no substitutions. I was coasting at 2-0 when the AI substitutes arguably my best two players in the game, and we draw 2-2. Stupid, stupid AI.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?
I have no idea what this means - what squad updates? Fifa? TM? I don't actually care either way.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?
I bought someone a Tetris key ring / bottle opener that plays the theme tune when you open a bottle.

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?
Definitely missionary, I just don't have the stamina I used to.

7. Favourite Christmas food?
Sprout and pancetta stir fry.

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?
Johnny Bravo. The guy is a walking, talking #MeToo accident waiting to happen.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?
Spyro the Dragon

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?
Merry Christmas lads, make sure your lockers are clean before St Nick empties his sack in them.

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?
No chance, I have a great place here in Carlisle and Salford/Manchester is not as pretty.

3. What have you learned from your last game?
That hopefully, we have found our feet and formation. As well that Olly Lee and Morris are devastating given the space and time to shoot.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?
I don't expect any drastic changes. My younger guys are perhaps too young to shift up, just yet.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?
Skiing holiday to Bulgaria!

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?
Left back - or pile driver

7. Favourite Christmas food?
Pigs in blankets - anyone who says a sprout is good needs to be shot.

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?
Please remove all food from the fridge before going home for Christmas, as we do NOT want a repeat of last year's problems.

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?
Absolutely not. I'm not commuting to Manchester.

3. What have you learned from your last game?
Not a lot, I felt harshly done by as I missed the clearer chances and lost 1-0, so need to persevere really.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?
Probably not, I haven't got many young stars, I've got a couple I'm hoping will improve though.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?
I've not bought a thing, my wife did all the shopping (including her own presents), so I don't have an answer for this. I'll buy something for the Mrs as a surprise, so that, even though I don't know what it'll be yet.

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?
Reverse Cowgirl. Try as I might, I just can't keep it from slipping out. Centre back.

7. Favourite Christmas food?
Pigs in blankets, probably. Although thinking outside the box, I love Mince Pies and double cream. Always a Christmas ting.

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?
Peter Perfect from Wacky Races. Smarmy pr*ck.

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?

Every one of you will be on the scales before you leave today and the minute you report to training. The weight better be the same

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?

God no, imagine working for that colossal halfwit they have at CEO

3. What have you learned from your last game?

3rd win on the bounce, the Imps are stealthily moving into position. No fireworks, but back to basics solidity, I'll take it

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?

Little chance of improvement, but I'm playing for TM value rather than the odd single digit rating jump

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?

There's 6 days to go, why would I have bought anything already?

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?

I'm a demigod at every position, just ask all my ex girlfriends. On the pitch, probably full back

7. Favourite Christmas food?

Pigs in blankets are great, but a turkey sandwich smothered in gravy is hard to beat on boxing day

8. Which cartoon character do you most want to punch?

Jacob Rees Mogg

1. To have a good Christmas. That's what I'll be doing. I wish each and every one of them happiness. Everyone else who is playing scrooge will only create disharmony in the club.

2. Yep. There's a Cleaning Manager job going there, I feel ready to make the step up to that, and it's a nice pay increase.

3. I was very disappointed with the performance, and I need to sit down with all of my players, one at a time to get to the bottom of why they are not performing at the level required. Nick and Viva will be sat either side of me, similar to the Apprentice.

4. Yes, some of my players should be getting huge rises based on the form they've been in this season. And if they don't then it's proof that the league is conspiring against us.

5. Found a couple of nice T-Shirts down Camden Market, but it's not as good as the Royal Selangor figure I managed to pick up on a deal. They're really nice pieces, and I want one myself.

6. I'm after a winger at the moment.

7. My roast potatoes are excellent. But I make them all year round, not just at Christmas. I like the festive type biscuits, with nutmeg, cinnamon and such.

8. Archer. I got sick of seeing 10 episodes a day on the TV.

1. What message of cheer are you offering your squad as we head towards Christmas?
“Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing, but of reflection.” - Winston Churchill

2. Will you be applying for the Manchester United job?
It's not at the top of my list of priorities atm. But I think I could be in with a good chance if I tried to go for it.

3. What have you learned from your last game?
That nando is one lucky mofo.

4. What changes do you expect from the squad updates? Any chance of a big shift in your side’s quality?
I haven't really paid any notice to it tbh. I have been buying players that are mostly 25+ and playing in crap leagues so if they do get an increase in rating I would be happy. If not then it's no biggie.

5. What is the best gift you’ve bought for someone else this coming Christmas?
I've bought a nice new pair of winter socks for my neighbour which I think is great. The weather is getting colder so I think they will cherish them with all their heart.

6. What position is your biggest weakness right now?
As Sun Tzu once famously said "If you show the enemy your weakest point, they will target it, plunder it, and decimate it. To keep your weakness hidden is a huge advantage in itself and must be done at all times"

7. Favourite Christmas food?
A trifle.
