Curb your Enthusiasm
One of the greatest comedies ever made is back soon (July) so I thought it might be worthwhile starting a thread on it.
What are your favourite episodes and moments?
I lone Krazy Eye Killer as a standalone episode ("are you my Caucasian?")
Anyway to get you in the mood - season 8 trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8iW4vr1EaU&feature=youtu.be

Re: Curb your Enthusiasm
The best TV show ever made - comedy or not.
I can't wait for the new series. My favourite episode is The Doll. So many things conspiring against Larry in just one episode, and all wrapped up so well with the most cringeworthy ending the show has ever done. "Mommy, Mommy, that bald man's in the bathroom, and there's something hard in his pants"
My favourite season is The Producers one, because I think Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer are excellent in it - both playing charicatures of theirselves that you wouldn't expect.
My favourite characters are Leo Funkhouser and Leon Black. There are too many amazing quotes from Leon, that can't even be posted here.
"Next time a guy call you a faggot, you get in that ass Larry! You immedietly get in that ass. You open that asshole up and you pull that asshole open, step inside, and spray paint “Larry Was Here”. Flip his whole asshole up. Eat snicker bars, throw the wrapper on the ground. Then step out his ass – and you leave that asshole wide open so that motherfuc(beep) knows you been there."
And I like it when he's pretending to be Danny Dubestein, talking to Michael Richards about Groats disease.

Trailer looks good - "Social assassin" - going to change my admin badge to that!
Loved the Producers season as well - the pay off was genius! Also really liked the restaurant arc - the tourettes bit with Michael York was the highlight"

That's a great series too. The final episode with the tourettes is excellent.
I love the episode where they go to the pool party and Larry tells Hugh that his son is well endowed.

Re: Curb your Enthusiasm
This is seriously the best show on tv right now. Has the new season been shown on Sky yet.
Don't want to ruin it but if you want to look at it,here's some classic Larry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li9Y0xpQ8jU

Re: Curb your Enthusiasm
not started over here yet - not sure what channel either. More4 showed every new series so far but obviously Sky Atlantic shows HBO now.
Looking forward to it - I have seen a few clips and it looks great.

Re: Curb your Enthusiasm
It's great Hobo particularly the last 2 episodes. I'm pretty sure it's on Atlantic which I don't have, the reason why I started watching it.

Re: Curb your Enthusiasm
More4 still has first run rights even for the upcoming season, though its quite possible that Sky One/Atlantic will show it after More4.
Not a 100% sure if More4 have the rights for a few years or whether this is the last year before the contract goes up for grabs again. If the rights do go up for grabs its not a certainty that Sky One/Atlantic will pick it up for first run will depend on scheduling.
As for when More4 will show the 8th season its still not confirmed though most likely it will be done by lucky dip, after which they will randomly have weird breaks in the scheduling while changing day/time of the show at varying intervals. Could be late this year as the US run finishes in Sept or it could be mid 2012.
Note: The 4 group must be the most shoddy run group of channels in terms of advertising/scheduling to ever grace tv. The term run by a bunch of monkeys wouldn't be far of the mark in many regards.
