Looks like the same concept, but just outside! Did you do the Allianz Arena too?

No we tried to get into a 1860 game but they were playing top of the table so it was a sell out, ended up getting drunk in the bar opposite the ground with other fans who couldn't get in.

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage III
Bam, I see people have added the extra 100k for the bonus Presser but I can't do it in spreadsheet.
Shall I just mark it on the team page? Because if I do things as normal it will just show I am running at a loss of 100k if I buy a player etc.

I've already added 100k for you, its the "Week 12" press conference as I saw you had done it when I did the spreadsheet yesterday

On that note, whoever does the press conference next week (Dolph), can it be named the 13th, keeps it in line with my file as it lost track at some point

It'll be out of sync with the week's in the league then. So we'll be doing week 13 PC with week 11 matches

Yeah, think its because of the cup week and the two separate press conferences named week 9 !

Glad I got in Oliver Kemen. The best CM in the league so far imo. If anyone thinks they've got a better player in his position come show it

I was thinking about Kemen yesterday, and had him on my list. Just couldn't bring myself to spend that much on someone yet.

Similar pace, Similar shooting and similar defensive stats. Kemen a bit better at passing and dribbling, Davis a bit better at strength and stamina. Very close.

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage III
Don't what you are looking at, but Davis outscores Kemen on everything other than Dribbling.
Total the 6 traits on the spider web, Davis scores 426, Kemen 419 and Gajos 414.
But then Gajos is better than both going forward.

I'm not looking at every stat, just the ones that I think are important for a CM.
Pace
Short and long passing.
Standing/sliding tackles
Stamina
Strenght
Ball control
Dribbling
Finishing
Long shots

You want your CM to be an all rounder, so the spider web is a great guide for that. Of the 6 traits, Davis tops 5 and Kemen 1

Thought Olly Lee was a great signing tbh He was 1/3rd of the price of Davis and Gajos to be 100% accurate, and 1/6th of Kemen!!

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage III
It's pretty much why I play three midfielders, all bring what they need to in each position, to balance each other.
CDM - Yates - Defensive cover and physicality - https://sofifa.com/player/235642/ryan-yates/
CM - Lee - Attacking threat going forward - https://sofifa.com/player/193206/olly-lee/
CM - Gonzalo Villar - a bit more lightweight but a playmaker in the Fabregas mould for me - https://sofifa.com/player/244393/gonzalo-villar-del-fraile/
Do you guys rely on any traits that a player has when weighing up a signing?

I have traits that I want for each position and then use the spider's web as my guide. I use that more than I use the overall rating tbh. Is working so far!

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage III
I think there's a lot of unimportant stats there like crossing which brings Kemen's overall passing rating down. I don't want my CM going over to the wing thinking he's David Beckham everytime and leaving me exposed in the middle of midfield.Afro wrote:nadeem2099 wrote:Afro wrote:Don't what you are looking at, but Davis outscores Kemen on everything other than Dribbling.

Fair enough. Davis still outscores Kemen when you only take into account just your list, ignoring what I think are important physical stats for a good CM like composure, positioning, vision, agility, reactions and balance

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage III
How about a little bet to see which player is better? Let's see which of our players mentioned performs better in say the next 5 games. We'll take the individual rating they get at the end of a game and we'll work out their average rating after 5 games. Doesn't take a lot of work as we see the average rating at the end anyways when hero goes on the team stats.Afro wrote:Fair enough. Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage III
Yeah, lets see how they go. It should be close as above it all, they both score highly
Its going to be a bit subjective as there will be other factors like the opposition, opposition tactics, rest of the team around them, plus I plan to use Davis at both CM and CB depending on injuries

If the AI moves the player to a different position midway through the match the rating will still count.
Goals/Assists do not matter.
I do want bam/fluxy to join in aswell with the players they nominated but think the prize money would be too much then. If you 2 want to do this bet between yourselves you can and then we can have a 'final' between the winner of me vs afro vs the winner between you 2.

Aliendro wins it hands down to be honest, and that's before his recent upgrade. You need to offer Hero's son a bribe to "accidentally" apply an update.

no it is ok - I will take you saying he is the best. I have him and Anuar, my other top midfielder. Unfortunate thing is that one or both of them have been injured 7 weeks out of 10. I have only been able to play them together regularly in the cup.
