The mighty Glasgow Warriors vs Ulster boo-boys, Friday 17th May
First topic message reminder :
But they were chanting Boo-urns!
While the game is still two weeks away, there’s a nice rivalry between these two sides (partially because our supposed rival Edinburgh are complete pish. It’s like arguing there’s a rivalry between Leeds United and Guiseley) so a good opportunity to get in some light-heartedabuse discussion.
Fine print: in the unlikely event that Glasgow don’t sweep Ulster aside and fail to go onto their coronation as two time champions in that dump in the East end, I do hope you pump Leinster or Munster in the final.
No problem though, Glasgow by 27 again for the second time in a month. Niko to do his best Tom Daley impression again and bravely win the penalty that leads to the first try.
Why: Pro14 Semi-final 1
Where: Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow
When: Friday 17th May, 19:35 KO

Highly impressive half from Glasgow. Ulster haven't been great - they need to.get their sh!t together early on or it could be a big score.
Rugby is a strange game though - this isn't over yet.

Not sure what happened but for Seymour’s try Burns was up against three attackers. That’s just not acceptable at this level.
I wonder if any inspiring words or harsh words in the Ulster changing room might at least make this game more of a competition in second half.
Is this Rory Bests last Ulster performance we are witnessing?

FFS Lacey has no clue, never a forward pass. He can't even see when the Weegies are offside.

I’m not generally one for moaning about the refs but there have been a few funny decisions this half.

Glasgow have just added that ability to absorb pressure to their game, it has been the missing link

Everything is going Glasgow ways at the moment, that was a very marginal kick from Price

Probably fair to say game over now! Made hard work of it (Steyn should have drawn the man and passed left) but who cares!

I thought we’d win and I thought it would be comfortable in the end but I didn’t think it would be like this.

Ulster back to the usual non-performance. I thought we'd lose but also thought there's have been a decent effort, this is not that.

Started to make Ulster’s 42-14 drubbing to Leinster at Twickers in 2012 look like a close affair...
