I think its fair to say he is already over qualified for the Chiefs. He is from Hamilton which is probably why he wants to coach them.
Oh yes hes a born and bred Waikato man. Has coached Waikato and has always had the Chiefs on his bucket list.

Oh, that doesn't matter with Gatland does it?
Yes, didnt stop people saying he could coach the ABs after wales despite being away for a hundred years.

People in the uk can be very easily lead by the media who were clamouring for that to be Gatlands next role.

I think we could see Gatland picking a fair few Welsh favourites over better players from other nations as per usual. He’s both lazy and greedy in that regard. The Lions committee are pretty stupid too.

Oh jeez I wish these English would stop complaining just because Gatland didn’t pick their favourite players on tour . It’s hard to believe some people are still questioning him, you should know by know that he knows what he’s doing.

I hope gats continues as he has been picking the best Welsh players for the job and producing wins and draws.....I mean if we hadn't have had Vickery at prop and that buffoon Monye in the first test in 09 that Ould have been a series won. Luckily Welshmen were there to recuse the day, same in 97 and 13 with Jenks and Half.
