5k, not 50k...
It's 3 runs a week, for 9 weeks, with gradual climbs in terms of how much is running and how much is walking. I'm 1 run in

Just to add, I've been eating healthier, lost 3lbs per week the last 2 weeks. Will try and drag it out to Christmas and see where I'm at.

Are you doing it with the commentary from the app? You can pick Michael Johnson or that Newcastle female comedienne.
You getting ready for Christmas then. I reached week 5 so good luck to you!

Turkey is fine. Roast dinners in general are fine, we do roast potatoes using frylight and they're apparently Slimming World friendly (she follows it, I do not). Lean meat is lean meat, cutting out the processed meat is the trick.

Turkey is an excellent choice of meat if you’re working out. Replace beef with turkey mince in all things

We use 5% beef for burgers and meatballs, but have had turkey mince and turkey meatballs on occasion, yet to try turkey sausages but that'll be next I reckon.

My mental image of the current state in the ring is Liam Wood looking at the stage while Cannonball keeps talking loudly to a fan while checking if his 'tactic' is working on Wood and it's cracking me up to be honest.

Marky with regards slimming world. My former boss runs a class. She did slimming world for a year before she started the class and it literally fell off her. She was eating tons too. Massive oval plates of bacon egg beans mushrooms and onions for example. The trick is cutting fat off meat and using fry light for sure

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
I think the main even may have some interference so that both guys go through. They are both strong enough characters to progress further. Not sure on the other ???. Beer has been popping in and out so could be a CJ return. The rest could just be fodder to make up the numbers.
There could be a Frost marquee signing as well actually. Something along the lines of one of the ??? doesn't turn up but then right at the end interferes with the main event. Frost coming out saying he is actually one of the new guys.

Three ???'s, I'd expect Engel and Costello to be two of them, but which two I don't know. I'd guess Costello to shut Jackson up and be in Group D.

Yeah my bad. Groups it is. Makes the likelihood of some interference greater in that main event then.

I'd go the other way, I think it makes interference less likely. Seeing as a defeat isn't the end of the world.

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Have you seen the scoring system? It favours those submission artists. You could get a 10 point swing in a group if a character taps out in a match!

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Points system for the group stages:
*1 point for competing
*3 points for a pinfall victory
*5 points for a submission victory
*2 points for win by DQ or countout
*1 point for a time limit draw
*-2 points for a loss by DQ countout
*-3 points for a defeat by pinfall
*-5 points for a defeat by submission
*1 point for competing
*3 points for a pinfall victory
*5 points for a submission victory
*2 points for win by DQ or countout
*1 point for a time limit draw
*-2 points for a loss by DQ countout
*-3 points for a defeat by pinfall
*-5 points for a defeat by submission

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Exactly! 1 point for turning up is interesting. Last group of matches, and a tie for 2nd and 3rd. Beat down on one of the guys before the match so he can't get a point
EDIT: You keep reading my mind lol

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
I hadn't seen it, although I feel it's overly complicated. 1 point for competing, but that goes as soon as you lose. Can't help but feel just having 0 points for a loss is easier, but I'm looking forward to seeing how JJ plays it.

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
I'm hoping the scoring system won't become too convoluted but I do take your point, Marky, because I probably have overthought it. I'll see how it plays out.....I'm confident it won't affect the standard of the tournament, however.
Interesting seeing some of the predictions. First show is always the most difficult to write as although I know everybody is familiar with the product I have to write it as though the audience may not know and are first time viewers. Little nuances as well have to be described like the setup of the arena etc as it will be a little different considering the size of the arena.

I enjoyed that promo Hero. I imagined it like you are now crow Sting
Morning guys, I think the scoring is ok - potentially because I think everyone in a group will still have a chance, regardless of position going into the final group of matches. There is enough points on offer for characters to leap up the table. You may find some of those positioned last may need a submission win to get enough points at the end which is interesting.

It will certainly make it interesting right down to the wire which is what you want in the group stages. After reading the promos this last couple of weeks I think all the groups are going to be hard to call.
Absolutely fantastic haul for our first show too, hopefully we can maintain those kind of numbers. I’ve certainly picked out a couple of really outstanding ones from the mix but it’s a great set all round

I think when three of the four groups have mystery opponents that is heavily subject to change. Especially as we know it's likely the three ??? guys are Engel Harlequin, Vincent Costello and Hero.
