He was, although the revealed plans showed Helms taking it from him, Cerberus was the last 6CW Champion.
Does anyone still have those revealed plans because if I remember quickly Wood and Helms were NOG bound for the main event?

We’re going ahead with the idea Helms was the last 6CW Champion. He would have won at Night of Glory and although I didn’t write the show I’m picking the story up as though I did in case anyone wonders for continuity

Just in case this comes up...
Did Helms go in to NOG as the champion defeat Wood or did Helms go in to it as the challenger and beat Wood for the title?
I won't add the title to Wood's profile if it was the latter because it didn't happen in a posted show but promo wise it would help if Wood and Helms come up against each other.

I'm guessing not and I assume Helms being last world champion would have been the next PPV and NOT NOG actually but from what I remember from the "This is what was planned" post I think it went...
Helms beat Cerberus and then at NOG Wood came out to challenge but it never had the result of that match on and I'm kind of glad, if Wood ever wins the 6CW title I want it to be in real time/with a posted show and storyline, not a recap.

My memory is rubbish. I know I won 6CW World Title with Joshua but can't remember if I won it with Grace. I had some battles with Cerberus for it and also for EWF title later in the day. I think he did in the end.

Just found this thread when Googling it: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Check out the names on there! Plus Liam was STILL going on about his 3 World Title reigns (WSW? Really?!) in 2016!
Paul Mac, Marsh, ED and Dicey would have been great to have back.

Oh ok
I am going to redo those QOTD Liam posted on that thread. Lets see if peoples minds have changed in 3 years:
QOTD: Favourite Liam Wood match.......
(actual) QOTD's:
1. Who in your opinion is the best e-fedder of all time and why?
2. Who in you opinion is the best e-fed character of all time and why?
Optional possibly controversial QOTD:
3. Has there been a character you haven't quite got despite them doing well?

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
1. Electric Demon - For me someone who also got that characters need to be multilayered; that weaknesses, foibles etc actually make their personality and give them depth. Too many people create characters whose sole personality is to be better than the opponent and whilst they're great trash talkers they don't draw me in to wanting to know more about their character.
2. Cassius, in more recent times Grace I really liked as a character.
3. Nobody overly springs to mind, really anyone as mentioned that's a bit one dimensional and who RPs purely to put down the opponent rather than create a story.

Heels, Cassius is one, I'd add Mike Hill and Hero for longevity. I still remember Mike Hill winning a world title by pinning Hobo after he'd broken his ankle mid match, that was dastardly AF Hero always better as a heel.
Faces, JJ Johnson, a great rival to Hero and Cassius over the years. Probably The Saint, and I particularly liked Hobo with Trash TV, even if Adam went a bit insane

Neither Helms or Wood was champion. The title was vacant. Cerberus was stripped after breaking a no physical contact rule in the build up to his match with Helms at Day of Reckoning.

Sorry, I should have put it better. There was more to his whole story. You was going to find out who McCoy really was, why Joshua talked like he did and then he was going to go through a change and manifest in a different character.
I would go for ED too for best e-fedder but I have to echo comment made on the original thread on how much Mat put into this whole world too.
Character wise, I really enjoyed Costello, Cassius and Crime Lord.
Who was Tyson Armstong btw? He got some hate on the original thread

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Tyson Armstrong was a good character from a new promoer, and was given an undefeated streak storyline, which was worth pursuing, but the problem was, the promoer didn't stick around and he had to lose his streak with no real benefit

A DP character?
Can't see that sort of storyline working now. Though JJ might have something in mind! That's why Mat should get credit; you never think of Mike Hill being one of the top stars you remember but he could have easily wrote him as such.

As I remember it, with the plan, Helms was champion (to win it) at the PPV we didn’t do and then him versus Wood was gonna be NOG, although I don’t think we had a winner chosen. That’s why I didn’t question it when brought up by Liam on the chatJJJohnson wrote:Neither Helms or Wood was champion. The title was vacant. Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
QOTD:
1. Who in your opinion is the best e-fedder of all time and why?
I only had a burst with ED around, and that was a fantastic burst too. But as it was (or at least felt) shorter, I'll go with Enforcer, closely followed by Marky.
2. Who in you opinion is the best e-fed character of all time and why?
Enforcer or Cassius Zhi. Again closely followed by Adamson. Big fan of the flexibility Olly put in O'Callaghan too. Quietly gonna say I really liked Crimey's promos even when everyone had got pissy with him.
Optional possibly controversial QOTD:
3. Has there been a character you haven't quite got despite them doing well?
There were times I thought Dicey was absolutely a heel that got put as a face because people liked Dec and liked how good his promos were. Always preferred Grace to Joshua. Fair to say I only got glimpses of both Hero and JJ, one let down by not really have the time, another by the fact he was being booked by his own writer, so he was charitable when he could have been dominant.
As an extra question:
4. Who was close to being amazing but just missed it due to something (ie consistency, timing, time to promo)?
I think Wood has been dragged around a lot and had to deal with it. Maybe actually down to getting a lot (too much?) early and then having to rediscover that - could a longer chase have rounded him out more?
Engel - Pete made an engrossing character for a story writer, but was either waylaid or would suddenly come in with some bizarre stuff (Did he die at one point? Jeremy Kyle?!)
The aforementioned reasons with Hero and JJ, also Clarke James too as he came back to the scene and was very quickly creative again so didn't get to shine main event, although he made the tags and midcard scene really fun.
Nando had a kind of monster who then sometimes gave internet put downs and sassy promos.
Cameron Faith was excellent in spells.
Ed has about 4 long promos in him before he gets too tired.
Personally, I kinda wish in a way I'd been able to have a real go with Reborn but creative got in the way. Good to bring up some old wounds before we start a new generation though. Then the "Lion" story could have been so good but we just didn't get to the conclusion.

COH was just a great stable when it was the original three/four of us, think it was the wrong call to then bring in Crime Lord etc. The dynamic of myself, Clarke and Marsh was really great for quite some time.

4. Thunder would have been one with the story line he had and agree Engel could have been a lot more. There were a lot of slow burner stories that felt like they didn't have the right conclusion or had to be rushed. It is bloody hard to have consistent stories that peak at the major PPVs but then juggling on people being around. Sure there have been many times when creative have planned stories only for one side to go AWOL. You then have to finish it quickly to give the other side something new.

Biggest regret?
To answer, mine would either be the attempt to redo CoH and Marsh being so unhappy with it that he walked or not being about to give Beer/Marsh the payoff of a BIF match.

Never being able to give my character the run he deserved.
Creatively, never putting the strap on Marsh when he was incredibly over.

Biggest regret........that Grace wasn't my first character and I started out with a farting fat man. I think the character's story was strong enough for me to have had more titles with him. Would have loved it during the golden era.

It genuinely upset me that Marsh was unhappy with it because I thought he was on board (you may well be talking about a different CoH, you did come and go a lot!) and would be up with my biggest regrets too. That was one I felt sorry about, especially as Marsh was great.
Already mentioned the "Lion" story, I also really wished we'd been able to do another run with that Xtreme division, there was such chemistry.
