Trolling only works when it riles someone up tbf. While I haven't been trolling, the ones to 'bite' have clearly been everyone but me. Weird you'd call it an obsession, but good to know you perceive yourself as a bridge dweller.
So damn true.

Why on earth would I be wound up?
It's sad no one wants to discuss rugby, particularly in WC final week, but so be it.
Wound up? Is this one of the 4 emotional responses you understand along with crying, angry, and dangerously horny?

Yes let's return to rugby talk. Who is taller out of Pollard and farrell. Do you think they're putting on weight.

Nobody wants to discuss rugby with you, cat, because if it's not to your liking/agreeing with everything you say then we have to put up with on-going performances. This forum isn't yours. Quite frankly you're boring and unfunny so for those reasons you can have the last word in before bedtime

Back to the game in hand...
If the match goes deep then South Africa's depth at hooker will help them massively in the set-piece battle.
Cowan-Dickie is excellent at the breakdown, strong carrying and solid in the scrum but his line-out work isn't comparable to the other 3 hookers on show.
Marx is an brilliant player to bring off the bench and if the game is tight going deep then England will have a big decision to make on how long Jamie George stays on the field.
I can't wait for the line-out battle. Both sides are so strong there, both Lawes and Lood de Jager are in great form running the respective line-outs. It's hard to separate those two as primary jumpers, I'd say Itoje is the strong second jumper and du Toit the strong third option.

It's not that long ago Warburton gave an interview where he backed up Gatlands claim than England are "bombers" and that Wales had a realistic chance of winning the world cup.

Apparently, South Africa have never scored a try in a World Cup Final. They have also never lost a final (2 appearances). If South Africa win, they'll be the first team to do so while dropping a match along the way.
Haven’t scored or conceded a try which makes it 48 tryless points across the two finals.

Yes. I will qualify what I said in that is wonderful and quite humbling to find out how humble Kolisi's background was and how far he's come. But I still want him to lose on Saturday.

It's not quite as extreme, but England have their own up from the streets story in Sinckler - single parent family, inner city comprehensive, unfavoured club, had to start his own school team. And regularly goes back and inspires other inner city kids to play. (One RFU coach educator told me that they went to a school to present, all in RFU uniform and could feel the hostility until Kyle rocked up in his puffer jacket and backwards baseball cap and started with "I'd be in prison now if I hadn't found rugby...")

The welsh English dynamic is always interesting. Just to note like the vast majority of Irish people it will be slightly annoying if ingerland win on sat but if they play like they did in the semi and win then who could deny them. It’s almost like a complete reversal of the 2007 final when SA were overwhelming favourites.
It’s a completely fascinating match up

Some of the coverage in Ireland has conceded England may find it difficult to hit the heights of last week again but also that it may not be necessary if South Africa don't show so much in attack.
While the Springbok pack is a monstrous thing, most English fears appear to focus on the chance that Willie le Roux will click tomorrow, and finally spark that back line

That's due to the Lions tours working in 12 year cycles and so too, apparently, SA's world cup winning years.
Not sure if it's been mentioned on here but the pattern is SA win the world cup, next time round get knocked out by Australia, next time round get knocked out by NZ. So far it's happened in 95-03, then again for 07-15. 2019 is the start of the third such cycle.
It's a bit like the omens building up for a Pakistan win in the Cricket World Cup and then they go and ruin it all by not making the semis.

Is that the "long weight" you were sent to B&Q to buy?
Or are we back to size and girth conversations?

It's a technical term for the specialist weight category by which SA players are assessed by their coaches. They got a head start on England there. Back to disputed online weight charts for further debate
