Wales v Baa baas 30/11/19
Great game today, really enjoyed it but then hospitality is always good.
Surprised there is not a match thread, but hey ho!
Wales were ok as were the baa baas.
Nice send off for Warren and Rory.

I had the joy of witnessing part of this glorious victory in a pub in the heart of the valleys. The locals were very invested in the Carling being flat.

Some very good play from Wales today.....Rory best gifting Ken Owens an easy try with throwing over the top in the line out again.....Wales looking good so far with Pivac in charge.
Lets see if they can continue this game plan in to the 6ns.

The only disappointing thing was how the crowd reacted to GSTQ, rugby is a game built on respect, shame this is not the case in Wales these days.

TightHEAD, stop trying to make a point will you...
I was at the Stadium also, and yes disappointing in the booing of GSTQ, but tying it to Welsh respect is a low blow.
1. There was 3 fellas in front of me with young lads (say 9 maybe 10 yrs old). They started to boo, and where quietly told by (I assume their fathers) to stop and respect and they did. It reminded me of many many years ago when my Granddad and Father took me to the "old" Arms Park for my very first international.
2. Why sing GSTQ, when there was no English involvement in the Barbarian side. Its not even if the BaaBaas was started by English players or the RFU.
3. And on point 3, there where a group near me, sporting BaaBaa shirts (and a couple of Boks shirts), who was Boo'ing louder than anyone else.
So don't try and tie the lack of respect to the Welsh rugby fan. I dare say there was some doing it, but we all have our minority if idiots.
As for the game, a good traditional BaaBaa encounter, full of running rugby and an excellent final send off for Gats and a great way to Welcome in the new coaching team.
Great day out.

The Baa baas were started in England, by an Englishman.
Where I was people young and old sat down and booed, very sad to see at a rugby game, it wasn't pantomime it was pure hatred.

The Barbarians are affiliated with the RFU and have adopted the anthem.
WOL, the bastion of neutral journalism, has eagerly reported that there was a ‘chorus’ of boos. Hardly seems like a small number of ‘fans’ were booing.
It’s always going to happen.
