Chris Robshaw 200 Quins Caps
Just a quick congratulations to Chris Robshaw who this weekend joined a very elite group of just 9 players that have managed 200 club appearances for the same club. In the modern game as single club players seem to be a rare breed it's an astonishing achievement. A one club legend, great captain and deceptively talented flanker.
Nice guy who runs a good coffee shop too.
If anyone knows the other 8 then it'd be interesting to hear, i'm guessing perhaps Simon Shaw and/or Ugo Monye could be in there?

I assume this is modern era only (or is it just Premiership appearances?). David Matthew's made 502 appearances for Leicester.

Re: Chris Robshaw 200 Quins Caps
Checking up on Robshaw, that is premiership appearances.
Richard Wigglesworth has the most Premiership appearances with 266, but spread across Sarries and Sale.
Steve Borthwick has 265 at Sarries and Bath.
George Chuter has 262, but just 194 at Tigers, rest at Sarries
Simon Shaw is 8th on the list of top appearances, but the only guy in the top 10 to have made 200 plus appearances at a single club.
The other 6 are, in no order, Stuart Hooper, Andy Goode, Tom May, Phil Dowson, Hugh Vyvyan and Charlie Hodgson.

Monye was some way short, but Mike Brown is at 222. Danny Care could go past 200 for Quins this season.

Dan Cole has more than 200 appearances for Tigers but not all in the Prem. He can't be too far off now though.

Robshaw, a terribly under-rated player
His downfall is that he's a player that consitantly plays to 95% of his ability in each game, in each season. He's not one of the many back row players who have one or two epic seasons but then fall away when they no longer hit form

Every game too. He keeps up that pace all the way through so doesn't come up with the eye catching stuff but is instead always there when needed

Re: Chris Robshaw 200 Quins Caps
He showed again today how much Quins will miss him when he retires. Dombrandt was making the eye catching plays, but Robshaw was motoring away in the background.
I suspect that a couple of the other 200 cap players might be Quins. Mike Brown for definite. Possibly also Nick Easter and Mark Lambert.

Felt like him and Care really enjoyed yesterday's game, they've had a bit of love/hate with Sarries in the past and it must have been satisfying to stick it to them.
