Six Nations Competition - Week 5

UPDATE
I have update this thread with the week 5 fixtures. I will update the leaderboard after this week's Wales v Scotland match were there will be a provisional winner until if and when the remaining games get played.

Surprisingly Wales haven't scored more than 26 points in a six nations game since the 4th round in 2018. Funnily enough that was the last time they played Italy away.

Wales have lost their defense coach, who was one of the best, have a new more attack coach and problems in midfield, so I do not expect a thrashing of Italy. Ireland likewise have a new coaching set up, but I expect them to be too much for what I hope will be an improved Scotland.
England should have too much power for a young inexperienced France side. Their defense will be tested against that backline,, but it has generally been good in recent times

France : 24 v 20 : England

Wales to prove to new coach they deserve the shirt and will cut loose in second half and put Italy to the sword.
Ireland in Dublin will be too strong for Scotland but think it will be close for the first 60 mins
France ready to show what they can do, and home advantage will edge them past England. (But I do think this will be the only game England will lose giving them the advantage on knowing a cricket score against Italy will give them the title.... but no Grand Slam this year).

So I have the scores as:-

Ireland 28 - 18 Scotland
France 24 - 20 England

Wales to start strongly and then stutter a bit in the face of an Italian comeback but pull through to win comfortably.
Scotland to start poorly allowing Ireland to build an unassailable lead then Scotland score some nice tries towards the end once the game is out of reach.
France to throw everything at England and score some lovely tries but are unable to cope with England's forward platform which allows them to score from a mixture of driven mauls and slick back play.
