6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*The show opens with Jackson Jackson. Jackson talks about how he’s overcoming the odds week in and week out but people still question whether he deserves to be the 6CW Champion. Jackson says he’s beaten everyone in front of him and he’ll keep doing so, all he wants is someone to step up and prove that they a worthy of challenging him for the richest prize in the business. This is brings out Ricky Nelson and Mike Hill. They go back and forth and Jackson laughs off the threat of Nelson but the young superstar says he’ll show what he’s all about tonight when he pins the world champion. Mike Hill waxes lyrical about Nelson and compares their careers, saying he was doubted earlier on but when he got his opportunity he proved he was that damn good. Jackson says he’s up for a frssh challenge and expects to still have plenty in the tank when he’s finished with Nelson so offers to kick Hill’s a55 too. This leads into the first match of the night
Bout 1
Jackson Jackson vs Ricky Nelson
*The bout is fast paced from the outset with both men demonstrating their speed and athleticism. Jackson whips Nelson off the ropes but is floored by a flying headscissors on the return. Nelson charges Jackson in the corner with a solo “poetry in motion” and then drops him with a legsweep DDT for a two count
*Nelson scores a snap suplex and heads for the top rope but Jackson is up and swipes his legs. The world champion climbs up and connects with a huge Spanish Fly for a nearfall. Jackson hits an inverted atomic drop and a discus elbow smash to knock Nelson down before heading to the corner. He sets up for the “Jacksault” but Mike Hill gets up on the apron for the distraction. Jackson leaps toward the apron and kicks Hill in the head, knocking him off, but that allows Nelson to take advantage with a hurricanrana into a pin for a very close two
*Nelson climbs out onto the apron and attempts a springboard forearm but Jackson sidesteps and nails an underhooked tiger suplex before scoring with the “Jacksault” from the top rope. The three count looks imminent but Mike Hill recovers to put his protégé’s foot on the ropes
*Jackson sets Nelson up for the “Jacked Off” but Nelson fights out and then nails a leaping STO (Paydirt). Nelson follows up with a lionsault that gets him a two count. Jackson tries to recover but Nelson grabs his arm and rolls him over into an armbar (ala Del Rio).
*Jackson is in a world of pain and looks as though he may have to give up but after several minutes he manages to twist his body over and pin Nelson down. Nelson only just manages to recoup and kick out on two, releasing the submission at the same time.
*Jackson rolls from the ring to try and recover but Nelson launches over the top rope with a forearm takedown on the hard flooring. Nelson rolls the champion back in the ring and then connects with a springboard elbow drop for a two count. Nelson drags Jackson up for the “Rapid Fire” but Jackson fights and counters into a “Shiranui”. He then scores with a wrist clutch flip into a bridged pin for a near fall
*Mike Hill tries to encourage Nelson from the outside as Jackson attempts a “crossface chickenwing”. Nelson fights against the submission and then he manages to run up the ropes, still in Jackson’s grip, before twisting his body out into a modified tornado DDT. Jackson staggers up and into the corner where Nelson lifts him onto the top rope for a huge frankensteiner. Mike Hill looks stunned but gleeful from ringside as Nelson hooks both legs but only comes out with a two count.
*Nelson complains to the referee but Hill urges him to keep cool and finish the job. Nelson attempts to take Jackson into the armbar again but this time Jackson rolls out of it and connects with a buzzsaw kick to the temple as Nelson is on his knees. Jackson drags Nelson up and hits him with a hat-trick of suplexes and then sprints over and baseball slides Mike Hill to the floor on the outside. Jackson climbs up on the apron and he beckons for Nelson to stand before springboarding toward him…
JT: Jackson missed that one…
JR: RAPID FIRE!
HE: YES….HE GOT HIM!
JT: Jackson’s attack on Hill may have just cost him…
Nelson dodges the aerial attack from the world champion and then drills him with the “cross Rhodes” in the centre of the ring. Nelson lets out a whoop of joy as he hooks Jackson’s legs…

……….3!
HE: KNOCKED OFF THE CHAMP…
JT: NOT QUITE….JACKSON IS STILL ALIVE…
JR: Insane matchup here to open the show…..Jackson Jackson, the 6CW World Champion, is staring down the barrel of his first defeat right here…..Ricky Nelson is performing beyond measure…
Nelson lets out a yelp of disbelief as the referee holds up two fingers to signal that the match is still ongoing. He slaps his hand against the canvass three times…
JT: Ricky Nelson may be making a believer out of many people here tonight….but once again our world champion is proving exactly why he is the man in this company…
Nelson gets to his feet and he looks down to the outside where Mike Hill is sat on the deck, holding his head. Nelson turns back to Jackson, who is barely stirring, and he stalks the world champion before nailing him with a leaping enzeguiri to the temple when he reaches his feet. Jackson collapses once more as Nelson rolls to the corner…
JR: Ricky Nelson is putting on a career best showing here tonight…
HE: And a win here means he’s next in line for a shot at the gold, surely?
JT: There wouldn’t be many who could complain….beating Jackson Jackson is something nobody has yet managed here in 6CW, non-title or title….
HE: Well all that’s about to change….NEW NEXT BIG MOVE!
Nelson reaches the top rope and then he launches himself into the corkscrew senton bomb, only to find himself landing across the uplifted knees of Jackson. The champion is hurting, himself, as he gets back up and he waits for Nelson to rise…
JR: SUPERKICK….OH WOW!
JT: FORGET IT….HE SUCKERED HIM RIGHT IN!
Jackson goes through the motions of the superkick but Nelson, anticipating impact, throws his hands up to block his head. Jackson stops short, a smirk on his face, and he nails the pumphandle flatliner…
JT: JACKED HIM OFF OUT OF NOWHERE!
HE: But he performed so well…

..
……..3!
JR: What a match…
“Take me to the hospital” booms through the airwaves as Jackson Jackson sits on the canvass next to his defeated opponent. Jackson wipes sweat from his brow and then stumbles up as the referee raises his arm in victory…
JT: Ricky Nelson can be damn proud of his performance here tonight because not many can claim to have run the world champion that close, not ever…
JR: But in the end, just like everyone else, Nelson came undone….Jackson had one final trick up his sleeve to bamboozle his opponent and that is the reason his arm is raised in victory….the champ always finds a way…
HE: Ricky Nelson deserves respect….
JT: And I’m sure he’s going to get it…
HE: It’s about time, this kid deserves some hype…
JR: He’s hardly helped himself in recent months…his attitude is appalling but I don’t think anyone is doubting what he can do if he focuses and listens to the right guidance…
Mike Hill is up on the outside, shaking his head, as Jackson Jackson gives him the finger. Ricky Nelson is starting to come round and Jackson looks down at him and nods his head, almost respectfully, before leaving the ring with the 6CW Championship over his shoulder.
JT: The world champion is looking for his next challenger and I have to admit I’d watch that one again….
JR: Nelson may have just missed the boat this time but he has done his future prospects no harm at all….one of the best matches I have watched on Proving Grounds in a long time…

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*Backstage and Perfect Jack is talking to Travis Sharp. Jack has heard all the rumours that it’s time to hang them up but he refuses to be told what he can and can’t do. He knows in himself what he’s still capable of because if there was an ounce of doubt in his mind then he wouldn’t be here. PJ says tonight is a new path for him as he looks to be crowned king of 6CW. He knows all about Drake and is aware of the threat posed by the Wolf Pack but he’s faced threats like this before, references Genesis, so he isn’t intimidated. Clarke James then appears by his side and tells Jack that he’ll be ringside tonight. PJ jokes about Clarke James getting the itch to return but CJ dismisses the notion and just says it beats sitting at home in lockdown
*We get a segment with Robin Reborn, Ojore and Drake. Reborn is prophesising about the future for 6CW and the Wolfpack. Talks about how tonight Liam Wood will regret sticking his nose in their business and how lightning will not strike twice for the salvation of Uryu Ishida. Reborn says everyone who stands in their way is a target and that means that Perfect Jack is next. Reborn says if Jack won’t choose retirement then perhaps they’ll choose it for him
*Marty Helms is in Miss Jessica’s office. Helms tells MJ that he doesn’t appreciate being summoned like a lapdog. Miss Jessica says she has a job for Helms but he tells her he isn’t interested. Jessica tries to sweet talk him and promises him the world but Helms shuts her down and says all bets are off. He doesn’t conform and he sure as hell won’t be putting on a leash so she can lead him around like a servant. Helms reminds Jessica that he is the sickest, most dangerous man on the roster and all he cares about is getting his hands on the 6CW Championship. He won’t accept an opportunity by doing favours for corrupt management, he’ll get it by destroying everyone in his path. Jessica warns Helms that crossing her and making an enemy of the boss is the last thing he should be doing. Helms laughs her off and tells her she isn’t the boss, she’s just a stop gap. Helms leaves the office and passes Jimmy Phillips, who is just entering to see Miss Jessica

Bout 2
Road to Royalty
Perfect Jack vs Drake
JT: Not a place either man wants to be…
HE: Suits Drake more though…he can do Jack some damage out here…
JR: Drake always known for his brutal encounters here in 6CW and he’ll be wanting to make a statement here to impress his new cohorts…
Jack tries to fight but Drake drives a heavy knee into his gut and then launches him through the air against the security railing. Drake points at Clarke James and draws a finger across his throat before turning his focus back on Jack…
HE: I still maintain Clarke James shouldn’t be here….he’s no longer a 6CW superstar…
JT: He’s maintaining social distancing and he’s here visiting old friends….absolutely no reason why he can’t be here at ringside…
JR: I think we need to be more concerned with what Drake has planned for PJ right now….OH MY!
BOOM!
Drake ushers Jack up and then he sprints over at him for a devastating spear but Jack, showing fleet footedness, dives out of the way just in time to send the big man crashing into the steel steps. Jack, holding his spine, stumbles up and then rolls under the bottom rope…
JT: Drake might just have knocked himself out…
JR: Well he needs to get himself up sharpish because he’s against the clock here…
HE: Get up, Drake…
JT: Referee’s count is at six…
Drake is holding the top of his head, blinking back the pain, as he tries to stir himself and get to his feet. Jack is slumped against the ropes, taking deep breaths…
HE: He’s back in…
JT: Referee is saying otherwise….this one is over…
JR: That was tight….I tell you what, the referee knows best but that is a big call…
Drake throws himself forward and gets under the bottom rope but the official is waving his arms to indicate that he’d reached and the match is over. Drake is absolutely furious as he confronts the referee…
HE: That is a joke….talk about leeway…
JT: The referee is under no obligation for that…..he reached ten and Drake was not back in the ring….like it or not, Henry, Perfect Jack advances to the quarter finals of the Road to Royalty…
JR: Jack said he was looking to get back on track following back to back defeats and that is exactly what he’s done…
HE: Drake has every right to complain…..this referee is a sham artist…
The referee is trying to explain to Drake what happened but the 6CW original is beside himself and then grabs the referee by the front of the shirt. Perfect Jack stumbles over and drags Drake away from the official….
HE: Jack needs to keep his beak out…
JT: Jack isn’t going to just stand by and watch Drake attack an official…
Jack and Drake stare one another down and then Drake shoves PJ in the chest so hard that Jack goes down. PJ scrambles back up but Drake almost knocks him into next week with a huge clothesline.
JR: And here comes back-up….like Drake needs it…
HE: Everyone knows that wolves hunt in packs….Jack is next in line to feel the wrath…
JT: Absolutely no need for this…
Ojore walks out from the back and begins making his way across the walkway as Drake crouches in the corner. Jack is a little dazed and confused as Drake weighs him up….
HE: SPEAR!
Drake is about to dart out from the corner for the huge spear when Clarke James hops the security railing and then drags PJ under the bottom rope to safety…
HE: He is not a 6CW superstar…this is a scandal…
JT: Who the hell cares? He’s not just going to stand by and watch his friend get torn apart by these animals…
Ojore has just climbed into the ring to join Drake and the two behemoths stare to the outside as Clarke James keeps his arm around Perfect Jack to steady him.
JR: Clarke James just saved Perfect Jack from an almighty beating….
HE: He had no right to….this needs investigating….
JT: Perfect Jack may have won this match via count-out but this may not be the last he hears from Ojore and Drake….they look like two predators who have been denied their prey….
JR: Brave move from Clarke James too….he may no longer be active on the 6CW roster but I don’t think that will stop the Wolf Pack from hunting him….
James advises Jack to climb over the railings so that they can exit through the crowd as Drake and Ojore continue to watch them leave. Drake is seething with anger as Ojore slaps him on the shoulder and signals for them to head backstage…
JT: Ojore and Robin Reborn also in action here tonight, they’ll be hoping to be luckier than Drake was in their quest to become King of 6CW….
JR: I think the rest of the roster should be careful for the remainder of the night because we’ve got two very pi55ed off monsters on the loose…
HE: Clarke James better get out of the building then before they catch up with him…this is an absolute outrage….first that abomination of a decision from the referee followed by interference from a non-authorised member of the public…..what a disgrace…
JT: Controversy here at Proving Grounds, folks….don’t go anywhere because we’ll have so much more action to come after this break…
Road to Royalty
Perfect Jack vs Drake
*Clarke James is shown sat at ringside and Perfect Jack gives him an elbow bump upon his entrance. Drake comes out, towering over PJ, and the commentators go through the history of the two men stemming way back to the origins of 6CW
*Drake tries to assert dominance early but cannot pin Jack down. Jack goes after the legs of the bigger man and chops him down to size. He works Drake’s legs over, using the ropes for leverage, and then tries for the early figure four but Drake escapes
*Jack goes back for another takedown but rushes straight into a big boot. Drake hits a big time gut-buster and a legdrop for a two count. He flips Jack up for a jack-knife powerbomb but Jack rolls down the back and rolls up for a near-fall
*Drake is up in a flash and almost decapitates PJ with a lariat. He whips Jack off the ropes and looks for a tilt-a-whirl on the comeback but Jack spins out onto his feet and dodges a right hand before popping off a German suplex. Jack goes high and hits an elbow drop but only scores a two
*PJ goes back up top and zooms in for a double axe handle but Drake catches him before nailing a huge chokebomb for a two. Drake backs in the corner to set up for the spear but runs straight into a drop toe hold and Jack applies the figure four. Drake is in a whole world of pain, struggling for over two minutes, but he succeeds in freeing one of his legs before booting Jack in the face to break the hold.
*Drake gets back up and he drives into PJ in the corner with a splash and then drags him out for the “jackhammer” but Jack floats over the back and then nails the “Perfect” slam but Drake’s long legs reach the bottom rope to break the count. Clarke James shouts some encouragement to his friend from the empty fan area and Jack psyches himself up
*PJ beckons Drake to stand and tries to nail the “Perfect Plex” but Drake shoves him away. Drake chases after Jack but the former world champion pulls down the ropes and sends Drake over the top to the outside. Drake lands on his feet, though, and he grabs Jack’s legs before dragging him underneath.
JT: Not a place either man wants to be…
HE: Suits Drake more though…he can do Jack some damage out here…

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*We get an interview with Dante Phoenix and Fleur Michaels. Phoenix is aware that Miss Jessica is gunning for him he’s also very aware of many things going on behind the scenes that most people don’t see and hints that that is the reason he’s got a target on his back. Phoenix admits that he doesn’t know where the next attack will come from or who it will come from but he knows it is coming. He anticipated a war the moment he left Cherry Falls but he says his opposition have no idea what he has in his own arsenal. He says Miss Jessica should be careful because everyone is wearing a mask, even those who smile right to your face
*Drake re-enters the Wolfpack dressing from with Ojore and he’s furious. Reborn understands his anger and talks about the rotten core of this business, allowing Clarke James to be out there in the first place, but that Drake must re-focus for the collective of the group. Reborn promises that Drake will have his retribution because the Wolfpack will not tolerate anyone trying to make a fool of them.
*Ricky Nelson and Mike Hill are in Miss Jessica’s office following the loss in the first match of the night. Hill is lauding praise on his protégé and saying his performance deserves a crack at the 6CW Championship. Jessica admits she was impressed, flirting with the young man, but she can’t just go around handing out big time opportunities to everyone. She says perhaps if one hand watches the other then it would be beneficial for all parties. Hill asks what she has in mind and Jessica tells them to close the door so that they can discuss “business”

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
Bout 3
Jimmy Phillips vs Dante Phoenix
HE: Caught him….POWERBOMB!
Phillips catches Phoenix on his shoulders and looks to set him down with a variation on the pop-up powerbomb but then Phoenix counters with a falling headscissors that sends Phillips staggering back into the corner. Dante gets back up, taking a deep breath, and then he sprints in…
JT: He caught a huge elbow right there, Phoenix is seeing stars….
JR: That’s not all he’s about to see….
HE: GAME-CHANGER!
Phoenix is still staggering as Jimmy Phillips bursts out of the corner and looks to decapitate him with the huge clothesline “from hell”….
JT: NO……FROM THE ASHES!
JR: WOW!
JT: IT’S DONE….WAIT….
Dante Phoenix ducks the clothesline at the very last minute, throwing Phillips off balance, and then he swings the huge roundhouse kick at JP’s head but this is also dodged as Phillips locks in a coquina clutch. Phoenix struggles, desperately, and tries to pull himself free but JP is a lot stronger and manages to get Dante down. The referee signals for the bell…
JR: Dante Phoenix didn’t tap….what on earth is going on here?
JT: I’d wager all the money I own that Miss Jessica has something to do with this….that referee has tried to screw Dante Phoenix all night and finally he’s succeeded….
HE: That’s slander….it was only a matter of time before Phoenix passed out and the referee was doing him a favour….
Phillips has released the hold and is celebrating as Dante Phoenix is on his knees in utter disbelief. Phoenix rubs his neck slightly but is completely conscious as he begins to get back to his feet…
JT: The rift between Miss Jessica and Dante Phoenix is growing by the week…..that’s two shows running that Phoenix has been screwed….
JR: Miss Jessica wants to be careful because Phoenix holds some very incriminating evidence on her from what we’ve been told…
HE: Phoenix wants to be careful because Miss Jessica isn’t someone you cross lightly…
JT: This referee may want to rethink his actions right now…
Phoenix is square on with the referee and looks thunderous as the official points at the badge on his chest. The referee is showing no remorse for his actions and seems to be trying to talk Dante down…
JR: The brass neck on this official….yet another on Miss Jessica’s payroll…
JT: He may need that money for his hospital fees….OH CMON!
Suddenly, Jimmy Phillips clatters Phoenix from behind. He beats him down with furious punches to the back and neck before dragging him up and plants him with a huge “rock-bottom”. Phillips stands over Dante and smirks…
HE: Yet another genius….she saw the potential in Jimmy Phillips….
JT: Miss Jessica’s influence and control is getting out of hand here in 6CW…
Phoenix is rolling in pain, holding the back of his head, as Phillips shakes his head and then climbs from the ring. He swaggers up the walkway, leaving Dante down on the canvass…
JR: Dante Phoenix has got some big decisions to make in the coming weeks because surely he can see now that there is no reasoning with Miss Jessica….
JT: That’s twice now Phoenix has felt her wrath…….is it time for retaliation?
HE: He’d be wise to just give that file up and move on….he can still have some of a career…but if he continues then I don’t think he’s going to be around much longer….
Jimmy Phillips vs Dante Phoenix
*Phillips attacks Phoenix in the corner before the bell even begins. He pounds on him ruthlessly with solid punches and knees before driving shoulder thrusts into his gut. The referee threatens a no contest but JP relents and lets Phoenix get up
*Dante is hurt bad as the bell sounds and Phillips immediately drags him into a huge overhead suplex. He follows up with a release German and then plants Dante with a big release full nelson slam for a two count
*Phillips argues with the referee about his count and then he whips Phoenix to the corner and crushes him with a clothesline. He lifts him onto the top rope to prepare for a muscle-buster but Phoenix kicks him away and then scores with a “meteora” takedown. They get back up and Phoenix ducks a right hand before hitting a springboard disaster kick for a close call.
*Phoenix looks for his own Irish whip but it is easily reversed. He dodges Phillips’ backhand on the comeback and then attempts a flying body block but JP catches. Phillips nails three straight rib-breakers and then a fall away slam for a two count. Phoenix is lifted into a pendulum backbreaker and then heads to the top rope. He prepares for a flying clothesline but then Phoenix is up and he springs onto the ropes before dragging JP off the top rope into a cutter for a very slow two
*Phoenix looks at the referee questioningly before pulling Phillips up for “Dante’s Inferno” but Phillips floats over Phoenix’ shoulder and then scoops him onto his shoulders, nailing a fireman’s slam (Attitude Adjustment). Phillips beckons for Phoenix to stand and then looks for a huge spear but Dante rolls aside to send his foe through the ropes into the ringpost. Dante pulls Phillips away from the ropes and nails a huge poisonrana, spiking Phillips on his head, and then rolls out onto the apron before scoring with a buckshot lariat for another questionable count
*Phoenix once again has words with the referee but the official gets uppity about his authority. He drags Phillips up for a “downward spiral” but JP battles out and then whips Phoenix off the ropes. He pops him up for a powerbomb but Phoenix counters in midair with a dropkick to the chest. Dante rolls out onto the apron and then hits a slingshot DDT (ala Gargano) but Phillips finds the bottom rope with his foot before the three
*Phoenix waits for Phillips to get up in the corner and hits double running knees to the chest. Phillips staggers out and drops to his knees as Dante runs the ropes and returns for a V-trigger knee but JP dodges and rolls his man up for a two count. They both scramble up and Phoenix leaps up over Phillips…

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*Liam Wood is backstage with Travis Sharp. Wood wants to make it clear that he didn’t don a cape and become the good guy overnight but after a whole lot of soul-searching a change in his outlook was necessary. He didn’t save Uryu last week so that the 6CW Universe would suddenly get back on the hype train but after sitting backstage and watching the “Wolfpack” in action he decided it was time to make a stand. Wood says he recognised the tactics of Reborn and co because he’s adopted them many times himself and he knows they’re here to make a name for themselves but he’s making a name for himself too and he saw it as a perfect opportunity to remind the world and Robin Reborn just exactly who he is. Wood says Reborn has a high opinion of himself but he’ll always be in the shadow of the true star of EWF and he knows that eats Reborn up inside. Sharp asks about tonight’s match in the RTR with Ojore. Wood says being crowned king of 6CW is one step on the road to redemption and nobody will stand in his way. Wood admits that Ojore is the “man of war” but if it’s a war he wants then that is exactly what he’s going to get tonight
*Dante Phoenix is in the backstage area looking pi55ed off after being “robbed” in the earlier match. He’s removing the tape from his hands when Dicey Reilly enters the room. Reilly and Phoenix talk and Reilly tells Phoenix that he needs to be careful going to war with someone as vindictive as Miss Jessica. Phoenix tells Dicey that he doesn’t know the half of it and that he’s aware of the danger but asks what would Dicey do if he had the information he does and the threat it poses to 6CW. Dicey says that 6CW means everything to him and he’s meet any challenge head on, no matter the risk it posed.

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
Bout 4
Road to Royalty
Liam Wood vs Ojore
JT: This could change the course of this match-up, huge chance for Liam Wood to build up some momentum!
Wood nails a yakuza kick on Ojore, he climbs to the top rope and then knocks down Ojore with a flying double axe handle. He hooks the leg.
Ref: 1.......................2............Kick out!
Wood immediately goes on the attack following the kick out, pummeling away at Ojore with a ground and pound attack. He rolls away just before the 5 count, he then waits for Ojore to rise before hitting a step-up shining wizard. He covers.
Ref: 1......................2.................Kick out!
Ojore forces the shoulder up. Liam Wood allows him to his feet, he ducks a wild punch and then grabs Ojore by the waist, slinging him into the canvas with a snap German suplex. Ojore rolls up, Wood drops him with a snap DDT. Ojore sits up and Wood cracks a superkick straight into the face. Cover.
Ref: 1........................2.................Kick out!
Liam Wood goes up to the top rope, he waits for Ojore to rise before connecting with a missile dropkick. Wood goes to the opposite top rope immediately...
JT: Wood heading up top once again!
JR: Lining up the Psycho Crusher...
Wood dives off going for the double foot stomp but Ojore rolls away. Wood forward rolls through and gets to his feet, he runs to Ojore who nails a massive Black Hole Slam on Wood. He covers.
Ref: 1.........................2...................Kick out!
Wood forces the shoulder up. Ojore goes to the corner, he removes the top turnbuckle covering and then returns to Wood. He drags up the former world champion and hauls him to the corner where he pummels away at him with body punches. The referee tries to stop him but Ojore shrugs him aside and carries on with the attack.
He then proceeds to pummel the head of Wood into the exposed steel of the turnbuckle. Ojore continues to drive the head of Wood into the steel as the ref begins the 5 count.
HL: Ojore simply ignoring the ref's instructions here.
The ref tries to pull Ojore back but he is elbowed away. Ojore crashes the head of Wood into the steel continually after the 5 count.
Ding, Ding, Ding!
JT: The bell is being rung to signal a disqualification for Ojore, meaning Wood wins and advances.
HL: Somehow, I don't think Ojore is too bothered about that, in fact I don't think he was ever too bothered about that to be honest. This is about sending a message from Robin Reborn.
Blood is pouring from the head of Wood after the impact of the exposed steel. Ojore bench presses Wood down to the outside of the ring and then steps out. He picks up Liam Wood and brutally Irish whips him into the steel steps. Wood slumps down against them as Ojore sprints in and crashes a massive knee to the head.
Wood lays against the steps, his face a crimson mask, as Ojore begins to clear the announce desk. He grabs a TV monitor and turns around, running and crashing it into the head of Liam Wood.
Ojore then picks up Wood and throws him into the announce table, Wood's back crashing into it. Ojore stomps away on Wood then hauls him to his feet...
JR: EARTHQUAKE!
JT: HUGE GUTWRENCH POWERBOMB THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!
HL: Message well and truly sent from Reborn and co, Ojore has absolutely obliterated Wood here.
JT: He mightn't advance in the tournament but with the damage he's done to Wood, you have to wonder whether he'll be able to take his place in the next round.
Road to Royalty
Liam Wood vs Ojore
*Ojore is shown waiting in the ring as "Revival Mode" is blaring around the arena, Liam Wood is shown marching down the ramp and sliding in under the bottom rope. The referee barely has time to order the bell to be rung before Liam Wood flies across the ring at Ojore.
*Wood takes the attack to Ojore immediately, firing away at him with a variety of different strikes. He scores a couple of early pinfalls with these strike attacks, such as a Yakuza Kick in a corner and a superkick to the grounded Ojore, but he powers out fairly quickly.
*Liam Wood changes tactics, looking to take the attack to Ojore with a more grappling-based offence. He hits a couple of quick combination moves, including an STO backbreaker into a reverse-swinging STO and also a double arm DDT that both score longer falls.
*Wood attempts a belly to belly suplex but Ojore blocks that and then sends Wood flying out across the ring with a belly to belly throw of his own. Wood stumbles up and walks straight into a Samoan Drop.
*Ojore begins to dominate proceedings, using his power to dominate Liam Wood. He connects with a couple of big power moves, including one massive gorilla press slam that is followed up with a vicious boot to the head.
*The new member of Robin Reborn's faction then looks to exact some punishment on Wood with a number of powerful punches that had been teed up with a Lou Thesz Press. Ojore is eventually forced to roll away and allow Wood to his feet.
*Ojore goes back on the attack as soon as allowed by the referee, applying an armbar before hitting a succession of clotheslines from that position, continually dragging Liam Wood back to a vertical base himself to hit the clotheslines. Ojore follows that up with a big running leg drop for the closest pinfall so far.
*After the kick out, Ojore launches Wood to the corner. He pummels away at Wood before stepping back to the corner and running in, Liam Wood counters with a flapjack and creating a window of opportunity.

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*Liam Wood is shown still being tended to by medics at ringside as we get a glimpse of Robin Reborn watching on a monitor with a huge smile on his face. The commentary team debate whether Wood will be able to compete in next week’s quarter finals of the RTR tournament.
*Jimmy Phillips is interviewed by Fleur Michaels and he blows up after Fleur questions his “controversial” win over Dante Phoenix. Phillips says there’s no respect on his name but if he was one of these old time, cheque stealing, limelight hogging “legends” then she’d be fawning all over him and he’s sick of it. Fleur wants to know about Phillips’ new links with Miss Jessica but JP refuses to get drawn in. He says Jessica knows where “The Talent” is at and it’s good to know someone is finally paying attention to him. Phillips says if 6CW won’t give him his dues then maybe he’ll have to make this whole place wake up and acknowledge what he’s all about
*Marshall Murdoch is checking his watch as the interview with Christy James begins. Christy asks if he has an appointment but Murdoch is merely counting down the minutes that Charles Kramer has left to pay him what he deserves. Christy asks if Marshall has spoken to Clarke James but Murdoch says he hasn’t, that Clarke is a big boy and that not everything needs to become a story. If Clarke wants him he knows where he is but it seems he and Perfect Jack are tied up right now. Marshall talks about the main event and how it is a great opportunity to show the world and everyone else in the RTR that he’s the man to beat and nobody is going to get to that crown before him. Murdoch reiterates that he returned 6CW to be world champion and despite all the distractions, nothing will stop that from happening
*Crime Lord bursts into Miss Jessica’s office and he isn’t happy about Karl Kramer costing him the 6CW Championship last week. He says Miss Jessica knows what he’s capable of and he’ll start dissecting every single member of the roster unless his demands are met and she gives him another shot at Jackson Jackson. Jessica says she doesn’t bend to demands so easily but she understands that what happened last week was a grave error that should not be repeated. She offers Crime Lord a bye to the next round of the RTR and that he can earn his shot that way. Crime Lord isn’t overly impressed but accepts and says once he’s champion 6CW will be run correctly

Karl Kramer vs James McManus
JT: Caught!
Kramer catches McManus across his chest, he then delivers a backbreaker which he follows up with a fallaway slam. He hooks the leg.
Ref: 1......................2..............Kick out!
Karl Kramer gets to his feet, he stomps away at the head of James McManus before hauling him up to his feet. He throws him into the ropes and hits a huge thrusting double arm takedown that sends McManus flying. The Norwich native rolls to his feet and Kramer levels him with a huge boot to the skull. Cover.
Ref: 1...........................2...................Kick out!
McManus is dragged to his feet by Karl Kramer who hits a series of big elbows to the side of the head. McManus falls into the corner, Kramer sprints in going for a big splash but McManus dives out of the way. He hits a series of big shoulder thrusts to the abdomen before going to the top rope and nailing a neck snap on Kramer. Cover.
Ref: 1......................2............Kick out!
Kramer forces the shoulder up. James McManus hits a succession of knee drops down into the face of Kramer, he then allows him to rise before booting Kramer in the stomach. McManus runs the ropes and connects with a bulldog. Kramer starts to stir and McManus hits a 2nd big knee trembler of the match and covers once more.
Ref: 1.........................2.................Kick out!
McManus stands waiting for Kramer to rise, he boots him in the gut...
JT: Setting up for the Tombstone...
HL: He simply can't hold Kramer's weight long enough.
Kramer falls down on top of McManus and covers.
Ref: 1..........................2..................Kick out!
Kramer drags up McManus from the canvas and then launches him out across the ring with a huge scoop slam. McManus rolls to his feet, he runs in at Kramer who nails Karnage. Kramer steps back to the corner...
JR: CANNONBALL RUN!
Ref: 1..........................................2...............................................3!
Ding, Ding, Ding!
JT: Karl Kramer gets the victory here tonight!
JR: He advances to the next round of the Road To Royalty tournament, looking to position himself in the title picture.
HL: McManus' recent run of poor form continues here this evening. He's gone from the World Title picture to two consecutive losses, one in a title match and one in a tournament environment.
JT: You have to wonder what kind of effect the absence of Jenny, and the reason for her absence, is having an effect on McManus' mentality?
JR: You have to think that Marty Helms is playing on his mind, and there must be some desire to exact revenge upon him for that.
Road to Royalty
Karl Kramer vs James McManus
*James McManus is shown making his way down to the ring, the commentators are discussing his recent downturn in form including his loss to Uryu last time out. Karl Kramer's music kicks in as he walks to the ring intensely.
*Kramer and McManus lock-up and Kramer gets the early advantage by forcing McManus into the corner. He pummels away at him with body shots and then scoops him over his shoulders, running out of the corner to hit a powerslam and then go for the first pin.
*After the kick out, Kramer tries to keep McManus grounded with a sleeper hold but McManus uses his technical wrestling prowess to escape the hold and then engineer a schoolboy roll up attempt. Kramer powers out and gets up, swinging wildly at McManus who ducks and scores a closer fall with another roll up attempt.
*McManus and Kramer get to their feet simultaneously, it's Kramer who again uses his power to force McManus backwards into the ropes. This time he keeps McManus pressed against the ropes while pummelling away at him with punches and chops. He then launches McManus across the ring with a big throw, following up with a running shoulder tackle. He covers.
*McManus kicks out. Kramer proceeds to dominate the next stages of the match-up with his power-based offence, scoring a succession of close pinfalls with a release suplex, a gutwrench powerbomb and a couple of big scoop slams which he follows up with a leaping splash.
*Kramer puts a side headlock on McManus to try and control the contest but again McManus uses his technical ability to escape, this time spinning out and connecting with a neckbreaker.
*After the kick out, McManus applies an armbar. He brings up Kramer and knocks him down with a clothesline. Kramer gets up and McManus hits a snap suplex, he then goes to the 2nd rope before hitting a knee to the face.
*McManus scores a couple more of close pinfalls, firstly with a short powerbomb he then follows that up with a backbreaker before hitting a knee trembler. Following that kick out, McManus goes up to the top rope going for a crossbody block...

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*Charles Kramer enters Miss Jessica’s office after Karl Kramer’s match. Jessica questions CK allowing his nephew to go out there alone tonight but The Consultant waves her off and says he doesn’t need to be a babysitter. He once again taunts Jessica about Dante Phoenix and the information taken from Cherry Falls. Jessica fires back that she knows Kramer has nothing because he wouldn’t be able to keep it to himself if he did. CK promises he’ll expose her and her schemes but Jessica warns that he won’t like what he finds and that maybe he’ll disappear. CK asks if she means like Johnny Lawless but Jessica remains coy. Jessica tells Kramer to get out because he’s taken up enough of her time. CK once again promises that 6CW will not be controlled by Jessica for much longer and leaves.
Outside the office Kramer hears ticking, his face drops, and then he is grabbed by Marshall Murdoch and dragged down the hall into the bathroom, Marshall telling him that time is up. Murdoch jams a chair against the door, blocking it, and then he proceeds to flush Kramer’s head down the toilet and threatens to drown him, repeatedly holding his head under the water. Murdoch waits for Kramer to wire transfer 100k to his account on his mobile, whilst threatening a further assault. Kramer finally transfers the money and Marshall flushes his head again for good measure. Marshall laughs as he leaves the bathroom
*Uryu Ishida is backstage with Christy James. Uryu says he’s been in this business a long time so the threat posed by The Wolfpack is nothing new to him, he’s seen them all. He lists off The Dynasty, The Association, Genesis, versions one and two, as well as many others. But he does also admit that tonight’s attack on Liam Wood has shown that this new terror is willing to back up their words with actions. Uryu says he is sorry he couldn’t return the favour to Wood by saving him but that he sends his well wishes and promises to unite as a force if Wood chooses to against a common enemy. Christy ponders whether Uryu is wise to go out there alone, knowing Reborn won’t, but he insists that once you show weakness your enemies will devour your soul. He knows the dangers but he is the 6CW United Kingdom Champion and if he wants to be the King of 6CW, earning a future world title shot, then he must face all challenges head-on. Uryu says he can’t just let the bullies win, that is no way to live your life, and that tonight he will stand up for anyone and everyone who has ever been made to feel like they have nowhere to turn.

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
Bout 6
Road to Royalty
Robin Reborn vs Uryu Ishida
JT: The WolfPack are quickly realising that Uryu Ishida will not be intimidated by their games…..the UK Champ is taking the fight to these jackals…
JR: And it’s a fight he’s winning, despite the odds…..now he’s set his sights back on Reborn…..PHENOMENAL FOREARM!
HE: THAT IS PHENOMENAL!
Uryu springboards back into the ring from the apron for the flying forearm but Reborn leaps to meet him with a modified, one-knee, codebreaker. Uryu stays upright after the impact but is clearly out on his feet, seeing stars, as Reborn quickly kicks back up to a vertical base…
JT: Uryu is knocked out standing up….what a counter that was….
HE: WORLD STAR!
JR: The distractions mounted up….
Reborn snaps Uryu down into the canvass with the zigzag neckbreaker and then he rolls to the corner. He leaps up onto the top rope…
JT: Uryu did all he could to fight the numbers game…
HE: This is a fight he could never win….Reborn is too good….
JR: FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR!
Reborn hurtles through the air and lands the devastating shooting star press to the prone UK Champion….
1.
…
..
..
….2
..
..
…….3!
HE: Get this man the crown already…
JT: Premature for you to say that but Robin Reborn has indeed booked his spot in the quarter finals….
JR: And with Ojore and Drake beside him, can he be stopped? That was a statement win…..first legitimate bout back in 6CW and Robin Reborn has beaten the UK Champion…
JT: With plenty of help doing so…
HE: Reborn got the job done of his own volition and don’t forget it, Jeff…
JT: Like hell he did….Uryu could have won that match three times over if it wasn’t for the Wolves at ringside…
“Sandwitches “ is playing out and is then replaced by "Ultralight Beam" as Reborn demands the referee raise his arm in victory before shooing the official from the ring. The referee wants to stay and check on Uryu but soon changes his mind as Drake and Ojore begin climbing up inside the ring…
JR: This is not looking good for Uryu Ishida right now…
JT: You’ve won the match, Reborn….what the hell more do you want?
HE: To send a message….this was the message the Wolf Pack intended on sending last week….and this time there’s no Liam Wood to spoil the fun…
JR: It’s hard to believe that once over Reborn and Uryu were allies….how could you do this to someone you considered a friend?
HE: Because he’s a winner and it is time to put respect on his name…
Reborn orders Drake to get Uryu up and then he shoves him into Ojore, who subsequently decimates Ishida with a “World’s Strongest” slam. Uryu is writhing in pain but he has no time to rest as Ojore then hauls him to his feet and stands him upright for Drake to tear through him with a crushing spear..
JT: This is shocking to watch….we need security out here to stop this…
HE: First Liam Wood and now Uryu Ishida….I don’t think anyone else is going to be foolish enough to stand up to these guys…..they are the new dominant force in 6CW…
JR: I can’t argue that…..statements have been well and truly made here tonight by Robin Reborn and the Wolf Pack…..he’s booked his spot in the next round of the Road to Royalty and taken out Wood and Ishida in the process…
Reborn shakes his head, apparently unsatisfied, and Drake then climbs from the ring and drags Uryu with him. He scoops the UK Champ up with ease and dumps him on top of the one of the three announce tables at ringside…
JT: No, cmon now….not this…
JR: Exactly what we saw happen to Angelo Trust at Day of Reckoning…..Uryu Ishida in dire straits now…..DEAR LORD ALMIGHTY!
JT: CRUSHED….BROKEN…..DESTROYED…..WHAT A HEINOUS ASSAULT!
Ojore climbs up onto the furthest most announce table and lets out a roar before running across and leaping into a huge splash that drives himself and Uryu through the table, crushing Ishida amidst the wreckage. Reborn is smiling now, apparently satisfied, as he stands in the middle of his two allies…
JR: What have we just watched? Uryu Ishida has been left beaten and battered here at Proving Grounds…
HE: He will never forget this night….
Road to Royalty
Robin Reborn vs Uryu Ishida
*Uryu enters the match alone whilst Reborn is accompanied by both Drake and Ojore. The commentary team re-cap on the earlier attack on Liam Wood as well as Clarke James saving Perfect Jack from an assault
*The match starts at a lightning pace as both men look to put on a show. Reborn nails a handspring spinning enzeguiri following an exchange and then release suplexes Ishida into a sit-down powerbomb for a two count
*Reborn goes up top but Uryu dropkicks his legs out from under him and then climbs up to deliver a huge superplex. He follows up with rolling thunder but Drake distracts the referee. Ojore drags Uryu from the ring and clatters him against the ringpost before throwing him back inside
*Reborn hits a helluva kick in the corner and then follows up with a running clothesline (ala The Miz). Uryu rolls out on his knees and Reborn hits a snap superkick to the face before twisting to the turnbuckle and hitting a split-legged moonsault for a two count
*Reborn stalks Ishida and attempts the “Worldstar” neckbreaker but Uryu grabs the ropes in time to put the block on. Reborn rolls back up and Ishida uses his momentum to flapjack him onto the turnbuckle before hitting an inverted DDT for a two count.
*Reborn staggers up in the corner and Uryu hits him with a running knee (ala CM Punk) before lapping the ring and returning with a monkey flip. He leaps up top for the “Split Second” but Ojore distracts the referee this time to allow Drake to climb on the apron and shove Ishida off onto the walkway with a bad landing
*Uryu struggles to recover on the outside and then Reborn runs the ropes and launches over the top with a senton takedown on the ramp. He throws Uryu back into the ring before nailing a springboard dropkick and then a solid roundhouse kick to the head as Ishida tries to get back up. Reborn goes up top again and looks for a shooting star press but Uryu throws his knees up in time to block
*Reborn is winded and Uryu superkicks him in the back of the head, sending him into the ropes, before leaping up and planting him with a sensational standing tornado DDT on the comeback for a two count. Ishida beckons Reborn up and nails a huge calf kick, swiping him to the deck, and then jumps up top again. Drake looks for the distraction but Uryu is prepared for it and he leaps to the outside with a crossbody takedown. He rolls back in and grabs Reborn’s arm before taking him down into the “Sunset” armbar
*Reborn is screaming out in pain and seems to be trying to give up but Ojore is up on the apron now. The referee is threatening to banish Ojore and Drake from ringside as Ishida releases the submission and then runs to the turnbuckle, using it to springboard across and dropkicks Ojore off the apron. Ojore and Drake rise together as Uryu runs the ropes and returns with a flying suicide dive to the outside that sends all three men toppling
JT: The WolfPack are quickly realising that Uryu Ishida will not be intimidated by their games…..the UK Champ is taking the fight to these jackals…

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
*James McManus is in Miss Jessica’s office. McManus says he just wants to get home to see Jenny but Jessica says he’s slipping and that isn’t acceptable. McManus isn’t interested at first but Jessica shows him the bigger picture and what he can have if he listens to her proposal. McManus says first and foremost he wants revenge on the man who nearly killed his wife and Jessica is delighted, telling McManus that that is a great start. Jessica says if they scratch one another’s backs then McManus can have anything he likes. She says she knows McManus wants to be 6CW Champion and she can make that happen
*Jackson Jackson is interviewed by Christy James. Jackson admits it is strange not having a locked in challenge for Scars and Stripes and that there is a certain freedom to it but he also knows that every single member of the 6CW roster believes themselves a worthy challenger and in some ways that makes his position all the more precarious. Jackson says he doesn’t give who gets the green light to face him because he will continue to be a fighting champion. Robin Reborn, Ojore and Drake interrupt. Reborn admires the 6CW Championship and thanks Jackson for keeping it safe. Jackson mocks Reborn and his chances of getting his hands on the belt. Reborn looks affronted and says that once he wins the RTR there will be nowhere for Jackson to hide and no jokes to keep him safe. Ojore and Drake just glare at Jackson before the Wolfpack leave
*Karl Kramer is raging as his uncle is getting changed following the earlier assault by Marshall Murdoch. KK wants to exact revenge but Charles Kramer assures his nephew that his time will come but now is not it. CK wants to concentrate on the RTR and getting their hands on the 6CW Championship. He says King Kramer, the 6CW Champion, will be his finest achievement and will also benefit the whole Klan as they seize total control of the company. CK says 100k will be a drop in the ocean compared to the power they will hold soon enough. The Consultant talks about how losing one battle does not constitute a war and when the bloodshed is over it will be Marshall Murdoch begging for mercy.
*Marty Helms leaves his locker-room and is confronted by Dicey Reilly ahead of the main event. Dicey is glad that Helms heeded his advice with Miss Jessica but now he should be careful because she’s going to be coming after him with the wrath of hell. Helms tells Dicey to stick his advice and get the hell out of his face before he sends him back into retirement. Helms tells Dicey that his words last week has no bearing on what he said to Jessica and that nobody has or ever will control him. Dicey laughs and says “we’ll see” and Helms then gets right in his face. Helms challenges Dicey to a fight right there and then but Reilly says they’ll save it for the ring and promises to humble Helms the same way he has so many other upstarts over the years. Helms says Dicey has absolutely no idea what he is dealing with and that has never faced anyone like him. Helms promises Dicey that he may have been “born to fight” but if he chooses one with Helms then he’ll “die fighting” as well.
*Perfect Jack and Clarke James are backstage. PJ gives his old partner props for saving him but CJ brushes it off. Jack says it’s likely that The Wolfpack will come looking for some revenge and maybe a little backup wouldn’t go amiss. Clarke doesn’t want to get drawn on it but Jack wants him to think it over because he knows the temptation is still there. CJ is non-committal but tells Jack he’ll see him here next week. Jack jokes and tells CJ to bring his wrestling gear, Clarke smiles and leaves. Jack throws his towel over his shoulder and turns to face Jimmy Phillips. Phillips just glares at Jack and shakes his head before barging past him leaving PJ confused
*We get an announcement for the quarter-finals of the RTR for next week with Dicey Reilly vs Marty Helms, Robin Reborn vs Marshall Murdoch, Crime Lord vs Liam Wood and Karl Kramer vs Perfect Jack III. The announcement also explains that the Scars and Stripes PPV will now be a two day spectacular with the semi-finals of RTR on day one and the final on the second day

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
Main Event
Marshall Murdoch/Dicey Reilly vs Crime Lord/Marty Helms
JT: Time for our mega main event here on Proving Grounds….
JR: And we now know that these four men will all be quarter finalists in the Road to Royalty tournament after Crime Lord was gifted a bye from Miss Jessica…
HE: He was gifted nothing….Crime Lord was screwed out of the 6CW Championship last week and it’s only right that he is compensated…
JT: The Quarter Final line-up is looking spectacular and will be sure to provide plenty of drama next week but first of all we have the small matter of this huge tag team bout….
“Back in black” booms through the speakers and the giant form of Crime Lord appears on the stage. He raises his arms into the air as pyros explode behind him and then swaggers across the walkway…
JR: The man in question….Crime Lord demanded a re-match with Jackson Jackson but Miss Jessica offered him an alternative route instead…..
JT: If Crime Lord wins the Road to Royalty then he gets exactly what he is looking for…
HE: And next time he won’t get screwed over by Karl Kramer….this man should be holding the 6CW Championship right now…
Crime Lord steps through the ropes and then “Remedy” storms the airwaves as Marty Helms appears through the curtain. Helms spits on the stage and removes his t-shirt before making his way to the ring…
HE: Another man with a huge claim to the 6CW Championship….
JT: How will you cope if Crime Lord and Helms reach the Final of the RTR, Henry?
JR: Who will you fanboy over then?
HE: It’ll be may the best man win…..both worthy world champions and both men know what it is like to be screwed over….
JT: Marty Helms surprised many of us earlier tonight when he set Miss Jessica straight and told her he wouldn’t be “whoring” himself out for favours…
JR: That has never been Helms’ style and you have to almost admire that….Miss Jessica was offering him the world but he has no trust in the system….Helms would rather use his own methods to get what he wants…
HE: I think it was a bad move by Helms, he doesn’t want to alienate the boss but there is no doubting he can get the job done himself….Helms just needs a one on one match with Jackson and he’ll be 6CW Champion…
Helms climbs through the ropes and he and Crime Lord go head to head. They glare into one another’s eyes and trade a few words before “Born to fight” echoes through the speakers…
JT: No love lost here tonight between Helms and Crime Lord….they’ll need to stay on the same page throughout this match, however…
HE: And they will….they may not like one another but they have a common enemy tonight…
JR: All four men in this match are rivals in the quest to be crowned King of 6CW….but for one night only they’re going to need to find a way to work with their partners…
Dicey Reilly appears amidst a procession of gold and green pyros and then makes his way across the walkway. He steps into the ring and has to be kept away from his opponents by the referee…
JT: Mr 6CW is in the house….
JR: Dicey Reilly returned last month and brushed off the cobwebs of inactivity with a big pay per view win over O’Callaghan…
JT: And now he’s chasing one of the very few accolades missing from his ledger….Dicey has done it all in this business but he’s never been called the King….
HE: And he never will be…..Dicey is old and past it…
JR: Bold claims and not ones I agree with at all….Dicey is a veteran, sure, but he’s already proven that he’s more than just a number on this roster…
JT: Dicey and Helms have exchanged plenty of words in recent weeks…it was Dicey who warned Helms against aligning himself with Miss Jessica…
HE: Terrible advice…
JR: Surprisingly it was advice that Helms heeded earlier this evening….although I’m not sure he’d admit that Dicey influenced that decision….
Helms and Dicey are arguing with one another, the referee standing in between them, and then “Papercut” screams out to welcome the fourth and final participant.
JT: For many this is the favourite to win the RTR tournament….
HE: Says who? Not in a million years…
JR: Marshall Murdoch is on a roll since returning to 6CW last month…..not only did he retire Hero but he’s also recorded statement victories over everyone else he’s stepped in the ring with…..I’d say he is a real shoe…
JT: Murdoch is chasing that elusive world championship….he freely admits that is why he returned to the business he took a hiatus from….he’s desperate for the recognition that he believes he deserves…
HE: You have to earn it and he never has….Marshall Murdoch will forever be a bridesmaid and not the bride, mark my words….
JR: The form book suggests otherwise….
HE: Form isn’t everything…Murdoch is too invested in his attempts to get even with the Kramers….
JT: I feel like he’s doing a pretty good job on both fronts right now but something tells me the feud with the Kramers is very much secondary to Marshall’s quest for the title…
JR: The money can’t buy Marshall the 6CW Championship but winning the RTR will get him within touching distance…
JT: That 100k he got from Charles Kramer earlier tonight will still feel damn good in Marshall's bank account...
Marshall enters the ring and he gives a brief nod to Dicey Reilly before climbing onto the turnbuckle, posing in front of the camera. The referee then gives his final instructions to all four individuals….
JT: The referee knows he’s going to have his hands full controlling this one…
JR: Four of the very best in 6CW right now but also four of the most dangerous, impulsive men on this roster…
JT: It’s like introducing gunpowder to an already blazing inferno….there is no way this bout will not erupt….
HE: But the outcome is inevitable whichever way you look at it…
Dicey and Crime Lord decide to take up the mantle for their respective teams and after a little more trash talk between the parties the referee signals for the bell to kick off proceedings…
JT: Crime Lord and Dicey Reilly…..two of the most decorated superstars in professional wrestling history….set to kick us off….
Dicey and Crime Lord exchange more words as they circle one another and then engage in a lockup. Both men jostle for control and Crime Lord begins to win out, pushing Dicey back on his heel, but then the Irishman drags his arms free and nails a big headbutt…..Dicey nails a big right hand followed by a lashing left handed chop to the chest before pushing Crime Lord into the ropes and attempts a whip…
JR: Crime Lord able to reverse that….the Iron Man has some serious power…
Dicey is sent across the ring but then Crime Lord drops his head for a backdrop and Dicey is able to take advantage with a big kick to the face. Crime Lord staggers and Dicey wipes him out with a clothesline before beckoning him back up and he’s able to spin the big man with a powerslam…
1.
…2
..
………kickout!
JT: Dicey showing he hasn’t missed a step during his hiatus….he’s still a big game player…
Dicey keeps his arm on the back of Crime Lord’s head as they rise and then he detonates a huge uppercut under his opponent’s chin. He backs Crime Lord into the ropes again and is able to whip him across the ring before raising his boot up…
HE: Crime Lord saw that coming a mile off…
Crime Lord catches Dicey’s foot and he throws it back down onto the mat, wobbling the Irishman, before quickly scooping him onto his shoulders….
JR: LOCK N LOAD!

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
JT: Crime Lord is becoming notorious for his fast starts…
Dicey is able to drive his elbow into Crime Lord’s jaw before dropping off the back and counters with a Russian legsweep. They get up and Crime Lord stumbles forward into a snap DDT………..1…………….2…………..shoulder up!
JR: Dicey’s started pretty quick himself here…
Dicey throws up an arm, usually a signal to the crowd, as he waits for Crime Lord to rise and then he delivers a sharp kick to the stomach…
JT: CRAICDOWN!
Crime Lord battles against the attempted piledriver and then he swipes Dicey’s legs. He catapults Reilly into the corner, causing him to bang his head, before launching him with a released German suplex. Crime Lord seems to want to inflict more damage but Marty Helms slaps his back for the blind tag…
JR: Crime Lord doesn’t look too impressed by Marty Helms’ interruption…
HE: Helms has his own issues to sort with Dicey Reilly…
Helms barely acknowledges Crime Lord’s glare as he steps into the ring and then he runs across to drop Dicey with a big time back elbow. Dicey stumbles back up and Helms drives vicious headbutts into the back of his neck before backing him into the ropes and whipping him across the ring….
JT: BLACK HOLE….
Helms attempts to use Dicey’s momentum to spin him into the slam but Dicey slides out the side and counters with a back suplex. Marshall Murdoch calls for the tag as Reilly begins to crawl…
JR: Helms’ planned assault didn’t last long…
HE: He’s not done…
Dicey is inches away from making the tag when Marty Helms clatters Murdoch from the apron and then drives his knee into Dicey’s gut. He delivers another headbutt to the face before whipping Dicey off the ropes and plants him with a spinebuster as he returns. Helms backs up in the corner and he motions for Dicey to rise…
JT: Helms has the most dastardly of schemes planned here….BEHEADING!
Helms attempts a running punt to the skull but Dicey dodges the impact and rolls back onto his feet. Dicey flies into Helms as he turns and takes him down to the canvass before unloading with a torrent of right hands…
JR: Dicey knows how dangerous that move could have been and he’s giving back tenfold now…
Dicey finally relents, on orders of the referee, and then he heads for the corner to climb the ropes. He stands tall as he waits for Helms to rise and then he leaps off with a heavy axe handle to the top of the skull. Helms sways and Dicey lifts him into an atomic drop before snapping him down with a neckbreaker…
JT: Despite the early aggression of his opponents, Dicey Reilly has weathered the storm and come out swinging…
JR: He knows no other way…and now Marshall Murdoch wants himself some of Marty Helms…
Murdoch is back up on the apron and he throws out a hand to accept the tag from Dicey. Marshall clambers through the ropes and he ducks inside Helms’ guard to land vicious punches to the body before throwing a devastating forearm to the throat…
JT: All of Marshall Murdoch’s MMA striking come to the forefront there…
Helms’ head lolls and Murdoch grabs him in a facelock before unloading with knees to body and skull. Helms soaks up the pressure, despite being hurt, and then manages to push Marshall away…
JR: One of those knees bust Helms’ nose…
HE: But not one of them stopped him…
JT: THAT DID!
Helms bursts forward but Marshall ducks under his attempted attack and seizes his foe in a waistlock. He charges Helms against the turnbuckle before rolling backward and nails a big chaos theory suplex. Helms is winded, holding the back of his neck, as he gets back up…
JT: T-BONE!
The ring shakes as Marshall hits the t-bone suplex on Helms before hooking both legs…
..
…1
..
…….2
..
………………..kickout!
JR: Marty Helms has been a dominant figure in 6CW for some time now but he is struggling in there with Marshall Murdoch…
JT: Murdoch is right at the top of his game….there aren’t many in the world who’d cope with him right now…
Marshall circles Helms, looking to pick his spot, and then he runs into him for the codebreaker but Helms catches him and launches him back across the ring…Murdoch rolls onto his feet as Helms rushes him…
JT: Marshall just too quick right now….
HE: NOT FOR THAT HE WASN’T!
Marshall hits Helms with a snap dragon suplex but is unaware that Crime Lord made a blind tag and falls foul of a huge uranage slam into a backbreaker as he stands. Crime Lord holds Murdoch in place for a moment and then follows up with a release uranage for good measure…
JR: Crime Lord played the system right there and has put his team back in control…
JT: You have to imagine he feels pretty smug about that considering that Helms stole the tag in the first place…
JR: And now a battle between two former allies….Crime Lord and Murdoch once united under the banner of the Church of Hero….the institution that Murdoch buried once and for all just last month…
Crime Lord mocks Murdoch as he walks around him and then he easily gutwrenches him off the mat and then drops him across his knee. Marshall is coughing and spluttering on the mat, seated position, before Crime Lord kicks him in the spine…
JT: That echoed all around this empty arena….horrifying impact….
Crime Lord bounces off the ropes and returns with a big jumping knee to the spine of Marshall before rolling him over……………..1…………….2……..kickout. Crime Lord uses one hand to pin Murdoch down and then his free arm to try and drive forearms and the point of his elbow toward Marshall’s face….
JR: Resembling a UFC ground and pound right now….
JT: Crime Lord looking to turn this into a fight….he wants to dominate Murdoch at his own game…
Marshall tries to cover up from the attack and block the impact but Crime Lord is ferocious in his assault. Murdoch wraps his legs up and tries to apply a triangle choke but he’s having trouble getting any semblance of control…
JT: Marshall desperate to try and get Crime Lord into his guard…
HE: In UFC he’d be fighting guys his own size but Crime Lord is a beast compared to him…he can’t control the big man….
JR: Wait just a minute…
Marshall hammers the point of his elbow repeatedly into the top of Crime Lord’s head and suddenly Crime Lord pulls back, blood spilling from his crown. Marshall then takes his chance and kicks upward with real ferocity…
JT: What an up-kick, right under the jaw….
Crime Lord stumbles back, seeing stars, and then Marshall dives onto the back of his legs, forcing him to fall. Murdoch comes up onto his knees with an anklelock applied…
JR: Sensational…..Marshall Murdoch displaying his exceptional ground game right there….felled the giant in style…
JT: And now Crime Lord is in a whole world of pain….and look at that blood…
JR: Top of the head wounds always bleed like that….looks horrendous….
Blood is running down the front of Crime Lord’s face now and he’s yelling out in agony as Marshall rips and tears at his ankle. The referee is asking Crime Lord is he wants to quit but he refuses and scrambles for the ropes….
JT: Murdoch isn’t going to let Crime Lord escape so quickly…..not when he worked so hard to get him in this position…
JR: Helms has got a busted nose and Crime Lord’s head is streaming with blood…..we knew this match was going to be hard-hitting but jeez….
Crime Lord’s hand nearly reaches the bottom rope but then Marshall drags him back toward the centre and applies a leg vine to his opponent’s free leg, trapping him in place. Murdoch cranks up the pressure to the next level as Crime Lord’s cries of pain grow louder…
JT: Crime Lord is one of the toughest SOB’s of all time, nobody doubts that, but he may want to think about tapping here….
HE: There’s no quit in Crime Lord…
JR: And that may be to his detriment….his world title aspirations, Road to Royalty aspirations all go up in smoke of Murdoch snaps his ankle here…
JT: And Marshall will not hesitate….DAMMIT!
Crime Lord is looking more and more helpless until Marty Helms storms the ring and stomps right down on top of Murdoch’s head, breaking his grip. Dicey Reilly immediately breaks into the ring and attacks Helms, sending them both toppling through the ropes to the outside…
JR: Dicey Reilly not one to just stand by and watch a tag team partner get assaulted…
HE: Doesn’t matter, Helms did what was necessary….
Dicey drags Helms to his feet on the outside and looks to slam him against the steel steps but Helms reverses their positions and slams Dicey’s skull against the unforgiving steel. In the ring, Crime Lord is wiping blood from his face as he hobbles up, trying to put weight on his injured ankle…
JT: Crime Lord is certainly feeling the effects of that submission…
JR: And he’s lost plenty of blood….neither of those things are standing him in great stead…
HE: Please….Crime Lord has overcome so much more in his career….the man could have a broken back, spinal, and he’d still be dominant…
JT: Calm down, Mike Tyson…
Marshall gets back up and Crime Lord drives him back into the corner before unloading with five destructive shoulder thrusts to the gut. Crime Lord backs away and he motions Marshall out before scooping Murdoch up….
JR: CRIME…
Marshall scrambles off the back of Crime Lord and then he waits for him to turn around before looking for a roundhouse kick but CL dodges it and then grabs the arms of Murdoch from behind, drilling him with a “killswitch”….Helms is back up on the apron and he screams at Crime Lord to tag him in…
JT: Crime Lord may not like to share the limelight but I think even he recognises that he needs to recharge…
Crime Lord blinks back the blood and then he reaches out and slaps Helms’ hand. Helms immediately climbs up high and he looks down on Murdoch, who is still face-first on the canvass, before launching through the air with a devastating headbutt to the spine…
JR: That could have snapped a vertebrae or two…
HE: Marty Helms is about to shut down the Marshall Murdoch love-in…..there is a reason this man is the most feared competitor on the 6CW roster….it’s as though you all forgot what he did to Cerberus and Horrigan….
JT: He reminds us every week…
Murdoch is writhing in pain but he has no time to wallow as Helms immediately drags him up and then drives him back into the canvass with a ring-shaking sit-down powerbomb….
HE: BACK TO EARTH…FORGET ALL ABOUT IT!

Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results Wednesday May 20th 2020 (Scars and Stripes Build Week 2)
Murdoch’s head bounces off the mat from the impact and then Helms hooks the leg……………………1…………………….2……………………3!
JT: Dicey Reilly keeping this one alive…
Dicey is back up, on the outside, and he quickly grabs Marshall’s foot before placing it on the bottom rope. Helms is on his knees, shrieking at the official, and doesn’t realise that Dicey has rolled back into the ring….
JR: HELMS DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING!
Dicey beckons Helms up and then almost kicks his head into the stands with a huge brogue kick as he rises and turns….Dicey has some choice words for Helms before the referee moves in to escort Dicey back to his corner…
JT: Dicey merely evening things up here in this match….
JR: And restoring things back to square one…..Murdoch and Helms both in need of a tag now….
JT: And Dicey and Crime Lord happy to oblige on that matter…
JR: Dicey the fresher of the two…
HE: But Crime Lord is better….always has been and always will be…
Dicey and Crime Lord storm back into the ring and Dicey quickly dodges a lazy right hand attempt before running the ropes and returns with a jumping shoulder block that knocks Crime Lord down. CL gets back up and Dicey rocks him with right hands and then looks for an Irish whip….
JT: Dicey struggling to get a grip on Crime Lord’s arm due to all that blood…
Dicey’s hands keep slipping on the blood over Crime Lord’s arms and that allows the former 6WF Champion to drive a knee into Reilly’s gut and then whips him to the corner. He follows in for a big splash but Dicey avoids the impact and then pulls Crime Lord around into a belly to belly slam……………..1………………………..2…………kickout!
JR: This would mark the biggest win since Dicey Reilly’s return to 6CW and a real boost to his momentum in the Road to Royalty…
Dicey gets back up to his feet and he motions for Crime Lord to stand. He circles him, a grin on his face, and then he delivers a sharp kick to the stomach…
JT: CRAIC…
Crime Lord quickly draws out from Dicey’s attempted piledriver and scoops him up….
JR: LOCK N….
Dicey fights off the back of Crime Lord and then forearms him in the back of the neck, sending him toppling forward into the ropes. Dicey sprints in but Crime Lord lowers his shoulder and backdrops the Irishman over the top onto the apron…
JT: Damn, Helms…
Helms grabs Dicey’s foot and he rips him off the apron, causing Dicey’s head to collide with the solid wood…
JR: Dicey may be knocked out from that blow…
HE: Helms just giving a little payback for that earlier kick…
JT: And looks like he’s about to go one step further…
Helms has that manic look on his face as he begins to remove the padding from around his elbow. He stalks Dicey on the outside, waiting for him to rise…
JT: LIGHT…..MCMANUS!
Helms’ eyes are suddenly drawn to the stage as James McManus has walked out onto the walkway. Helms snarls in anger…
JR: McManus said he would pursue Helms until he agreed to fight him….
HE: He must be suicidal…
Helms shoves Dicey aside and then climb up the steps to the walkway and just glares at McManus. McManus smirks and then begins to back away…
JT: Helms would be wise to leave that fight for another day…
JR: I’m not sure he has that kind of thought process…
HE: Oh if McManus wants a fight then I think he’s going to get one now….
JT: AND CRIME LORD IS GONNA WIN THIS ALONE!
Helms begins to chase after McManus across the walkway toward the backstage area. Dicey has dragged himself back up onto the apron and is stepping through the ropes when Crime Lord slams into his skull with the “Drive-By” knee. Dicey just slumps over the ropes, seemingly out, and Crime Lord drags him into the ring…..
JR: LOCK-N-LOAD…..CALL IT A NIGHT!
The sound reverberates around the empty arena as Crime Lord nails the F-5 on Dicey and then hooks the legs…
HE: That’s how dominant this man is…

JT: MURDOCH BREAKS IT UP…
The referee’s hand is but an inch from the canvass when Marshall Murdoch dives back into shot to break the count. He quickly pulls Crime Lord back up….
JR: CODEBREAKER!
Crime Lord catches Marshall on his shoulders and then just throws him back into the turnbuckle, Marshall slumping there from the impact. Crime Lord wipes more blood from his eyes…
JT: On the big screen…
HE: I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this…
JT: You’re damn right we haven’t……back here at ringside though…..LOOKOUT NOW!
The action returns to the ring and Crime Lord has launches Marshall out onto the walkway and is focusing back on Dicey. The Irishman is groggy as he gets back up and Crime Lord immediately scoops him up….
HE: He won’t get lucky twice….LOCK-N-LOAD!
JT: LUCK OF THE IRISH, I GUESS!
Dicey slams shots into the cut on top of Crime Lord’s head and he succeeds in dropping off the back to the canvass. Crime Lord staggers over toward the ropes as Marshall Murdoch nails his patented roundhouse kick from the walkway…
JR: MARSHALL LAW CONNECTS…..CRAICDOWN!
JT: TEAMWORK!
Crime Lord is kicked straight back into the path of Dicey who delivers the almighty piledriver in the centre of the ring….
HE: It’s not fair….it was a handicap match…

JT: Huge main event victory for Murdoch and Reilly….Crime Lord may have the bye to the next round of the Road to Royalty but he is out cold here tonight…
JR: The moment Marty Helms left ringside here tonight Crime Lord was up against it….I don’t care how good you are….facing Dicey Reilly and Marshall Murdoch on your own is almost unassailable….
JT: Proved to be here tonight….
HE: I still can’t get over James McManus’ assault on Marty Helms…..he must be crazy….
JR: McManus is now being controlled and manipulated by Miss Jessica….he isn’t the first and he sure won’t the last but we know that any man that falls under her spell is prone to do her most wicked bidding….
JT: It would appear as though Miss Jessica is beginning to build herself somewhat of an army and that spells trouble for anyone that opposes her…just ask Marty Helms….
JR: And Dante Phoenix….
“Born to fight” blasts out of the speakers as the referee raises Dicey Reilly’s arm in victory. Marshall Murdoch remains standing on the walkway and he and Reilly exchange a staredown…
JT: Reilly and Murdoch on the same page here tonight but they both have their sights set on being crowned King of 6CW……are they on a collision course?
JR: Well if they are then what a fight that will be when it occurs….
JT: Ladies and gentlemen thank you, as ever, for joining us but we are out of time…..we’ll see you next time here at the Proving Grounds….goodnight!

JT: On the big screen…
The big screen documents the action backstage as Marty Helms pushes through the curtain to pursue James McManus…
Helms: Where are you mother(beep)…….I’m gonna rip your AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
JR: Set him up….
McManus suddenly appears from behind Helms, hiding behind crates and production boxes, and he smashes a steel pipe into the back of Helms’ right knee, taking him down to the floor. Helms has no time to think about responding as McManus smashes the pipe down into the injured appendage five more times…
JT: A cowardly assault here by James McManus…
JR: Are you surprised? McManus blames Helms for what happened to his wife at Day of Reckoning…
JT: McManus should look in the mirror over that…..and I think there are other forces at work here…
HE: What do you mean?
JT: TAKE A DAMN LOOK!
Helms is clutching his knee, writhing and yelling in pain, as McManus spits down on him and then walks away to where a figure is waiting for him. Miss Jessica has the broadest grin on her face as she places an arm on McManus’ shoulder, cackling with delight as she surveys Helms’ misery…
JR: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned…..Miss Jessica said Helms would pay for rejecting her…
JT: Marty Helms is finding out first hand that how vindictive the boss can be…
McManus and Jessica walk away from the scene as Helms tries to drag himself up but his knee gives way completely and he yells out in even more pain.
HE: I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this…
