Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a ten minute time limit……and it is for the 6CW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!

JT: We’re kicking off this incredible post-Born in Fire edition of Proving Grounds with championship action….

JR: The same way we kicked off Born in Fire….a direct re-match as Ricky Nelson attempts to win back the title that he lost to the returning GazzyD…

HE: He was robbed….cheated, no other way to put it…..Ricky Nelson had no preparation time…

JT: Ricky Nelson was thrust into the title defence by his coach and mentor, Mike Hill…..something which he was quick to condemn Hill with once he’d lost his title…

HE: And rightfully so….Hill miscalculated badly…

JR: I think Mike Hill expected more from his protégé….

HE: Ricky Nelson will be a world champion, guaranteed, but he is still young and he got screwed….but tonight he’ll set the record straight….he’s had two weeks to get ready and there will be no mistakes…

JT: There’ll also be five minutes less on the clock….remember that pay per view defences get an extra time slot….will that factor?

JR: You’d have to imagine so….it means Nelson has to go for it….

HE: It also means that had there been five minutes less on the clock at Born in Fire then Ricky Nelson would still be champion….GazzyD needed that extra time to get the job done…

JT: That cannot be denied….it certainly makes things much more intriguing here tonight….

“Hate me now” is echoing out and there are boos all around ringside as Ricky Nelson swaggers onto the stage, Mike Hill by his side…

JR: It seems their differences may have been patched up…

HE: Mike Hill is still the right man to guide Ricky Nelson’s career and “Rapid” knows that….but he’s shown that he can stand up for himself too and that he’ll call Hill out on his mistakes, which is good to see…..together they a formidable pairing and I’m sure GazzyD will be unhappy to see them back on the same page…

JT: It certainly does provide a different level to this fight…..remember it was Mike Hill’s interference at Born in Fire that ultimately led to GazzyD winning the TV Title, another reason for Nelson to question his manager…..it will be intriguing to see how this one plays out…

Mike Hill keeps to the outside of the ring as the former champion vaults up inside and then poses in front of the cameras. Nelson sneers at the jeering audience before motioning a belt around his waist as “Limelight” shrieks through the airwaves…

JR: Incredible ovation, just like at Born in Fire, for the new TV Champion….

JT: GazzyD is back….the history-maker……

JR: First televised performance for Gazzy in over two years but he didn’t look like he’d lost a single step at Born in Fire…

JT: He looked as good as I can remember in a very long time….Gazzy said himself that he feels better than ever…

HE: He benefitted from the element of surprise….sure, once upon a time he was a big deal but the novelty has worn off now and you’ll see that lightning does not strike twice…

JR: Criminal undersell of the century….GazzyD is one of the best 6CW has ever produced…graduating from tag team specialist to a two time world champion….he has fought and beat the very best….headlined Night of Glory….there are very few accolades that you can’t associate with him….

JT: And after two years out of the game he was able to return and defeat one of the hottest prospects on the circuit….you say it was a fluke, Henry, so I guess tonight is the acid test?

HE: It’s a test he cannot pass….Ricky Nelson is looking sharp and focused, failure is not an option in their camp…

GazzyD bounds from one side of the stage to the other, soaking up the adoring reception, and then he holds the TV Championship into the air, sparking more cheers. Ricky Nelson is shown watching the title belt with hunger in his eyes as the champion begins his descent to the ring…

JR: Gazzy promised, just moments after winning the title, that he would be a fighting champion….he has welcomed this re-match….he wants to prove himself more than a one hit wonder…

JT: GazzyD has never backed down, that’s not in his makeup…

HE: And it will be his downfall…

Gazzy climbs up into the ring as Mike Hill shouts some final instructions to his charge. The referee gets in between the champion and challenger…

JR: Ricky Nelson has his eyes locked on that title….it was the biggest moment of his career so far when he won it last month and he wants it back….

JT: The TV Title has been a springboard to much greater success for so many over the years…..wait just a minute here…

The referee is just showing the championship belt to both men when “Sad but true” echoes out and James McManus, flanked by his wife, Jenny, and The Fanatic enter the scene.

JR: What is McManus doing out here? He isn’t scheduled…

JT: Looks like he has something on his mind….probably that a55-kicking he took from Dante Phoenix at Born in Fire…

HE: Well that was another cheap attack….how the heck was McManus supposed to know that Phoenix was going to turn up like that…

Ricky Nelson is looking to Mike Hill, confusion on both men’s faces, as McManus raises a mic and begins to talk…

McManus: You know, Ricky, me and you we have history….we ran together during the Team Lawless days and we had some good times, you’re an alright guy….I was quite happy for you when you won the Television Championship and I felt bad for you when you lost it….especially because it was due to the incompetence of the man guiding your career…

*Mike Hill glares at McManus now but JM merely smirks

McManus: No offense, Mike, but you dropped the ball….but you see guiding my career is my beautiful wife….

*The crowd boo as Jenny mockingly pretends they are applauding her

McManus: And now my best friend has returned to point me in the right direction…

*The Fanatic merely glares down at the ring

McManus: And they both tell me that I shouldn’t just be sitting in the back, feeling sorry for myself, no….they both tell me I need to be out here making my voice heard, making sure that I get the opportunities that seem to always be afforded to others before me….

So here I am……and like I said, Ricky, I was real happy for you when you won that title…but the fact is that you had your thirty seconds of fame and now it’s over….now you need to step aside and let someone more deserving get a shot…

*Nelson is laughing now and pointing at McManus with disdain

JT: I don’t think Ricky Nelson agrees with the assessment of James McManus here…

JR: McManus hasn’t exactly been on a tear of late….I’m not sure how he’d justify a title shot…

GazzyD backs up in the corner, seemingly enjoying the drama, as McManus and his clan climb up into the ring. Mike Hill has now joined Ricky Nelson in the stand-off and he brings a microphone with him…

Hill: I don’t know if you’re still concussed from Born in Fire, McManus, but if I was you I’d seriously consider walking my a55 back out of this arena before the damage becomes permanent…

*The referee tries to get in the middle of the two warring groups

Hill: This is Ricky Nelson’s re-match….authorised by the 6CW Council…..this match is his right as a former titleholder….something you wouldn’t know anything about because nobody can remember the last time you held championship gold….or hell even won a damn match…

*McManus and Hill go nose to nose now

Hill: So why don’t you and your wife, and your girlfriend here…

*The Fanatic glares down at Hill and he falters slightly

Hill: Why don’t you go join the back of the queue and come back when you’ve actually earned a shot…..by that time we’ll probably be moving onto the world scene anyway…

*McManus looks from his wife to The Fanatic and then he smirks and looks back at Hill and Nelson

McManus: I’m not going anywhere….I came out here for the TV Title….and I’m not leaving without it…

*All eyes now turn to GazzyD, who is lounging against the turnbuckle, and he dramatically pretends to wake up. He looks at the title belt over his shoulder and points at it…

McManus: Yeah, I’m talking about that, old man…

*The crowd whistle as Gazzy rolls his eyes

JR: Probably not the best way to enamour yourself….

McManus: So why don’t you set it down and let the pro wrestlers fight it out….you can go back to the retirement home now…

*More boos ring out as Gazzy beckons Michael Bird over to him and takes his mic

Gazzy: You know I was quite happy to let you two talk (beep) all night but now I’m bored and you’ve insulted me….I came out here to whoop one pretender’s a55 but hey what’s one more right?

*Cheers ring out now as Gazzy laughs

Gazzy: You just talked yourself into a title shot, mate, but unfortunately for you that means I’m about to beat you down…..swings and roundabouts, I guess, but it really isn’t going to be as fun as it sounds…

So how about we cut all this jabbering and get to it? Because I can see some of the fans falling asleep…..and I came here tonight to put on a show…

*”GazzyD” chants now ring out around the arena as McManus looks annoyed

Gazzy: Your good lady friend is welcome to stay…..your wife too….

*Jenny scowls whilst The Fanatic looks ready to attack

Gazzy: And Mike, you too….afterwards, maybe, we can all sing Kumbaya but first and foremost let me take these two youths back to school and show them what a real champion looks like…

JT: GazzyD sticking to his “fighting champion” principles…..he’s laid the gauntlet and offered to defend in a triple threat…

JR: Serious show of confidence from the champ…

HE: What an idiot….he was already going to lose but now he’s in big trouble…

JT: I think this may be smart on Gazzy’s part….he knows McManus and Nelson are now at loggerheads, as are the two camps at ringside….he’ll be looking to capitalise on all of this animosity….

The referee is trying to get Jenny McManus, The Fanatic and Mike Hill all from the ring as the arguments continue. GazzyD seems to be enjoying himself as he unstraps the TV Title and hands it out to the timekeeper…

HE: Not looking so clever now is he….

BOOM! James McManus still has a mic in hand and he crashes it off the back of the champion’s head before the bell has sounded to start the match. Gazzy stumbles and McManus drags him into the centre of the ring…

HE: RIVER WENSUM…

Ricky Nelson leaps into shot with a flash superkick to the ear of McManus that sends him sprawling across the canvass. Gazzy is still clutching the back of his head, dazed, as Nelson pulls him up to his feet….

JT: Ricky Nelson looking to take the fullest of advantages…..RAPID FIRE!

Nelson ploughs Gazzy into the canvass with his finisher and he hooks both legs with a triumphant grin on his face…

HE: New champ…

………………James McManus recovers in time to break the pin!

JR: If this match had stayed as a straight one on one then I think we’d have been crowning a new TV Champion right now…

JT: As it is we are now looking at a triple threat and that changes the dynamic completely…

HE: Gazzy suggested it….the only person to blame is the champion…

McManus drags Nelson up and nails a huge uppercut before backing him onto the ropes and whips him across the ring. Nelson comes back and baseball slides through McManus’ legs before using his legs to push the Norwich man through the air as he turns…

JR: Not too long ago these two men were allies….working together to bring down Cillian Frost and 6CW….

JT: But now it’s every man for himself once more….law of the jungle, survival of the fittest….and these two men both want a piece of championship gold…

McManus scrambles back up but walks straight into a spinning heel kick from Nelson. Nelson gives Mike Hill the thumbs up and then runs toward the ropes…

JR: Lion….that was blatant!

JT: Triple threat rules means the referee’s hands are tied…

Nelson springs onto the ropes for the moonsault but The Fanatic grabs his legs from the outside and swipes them out, causing Nelson to collapse back onto the canvass on the back of his neck…

HE: Mike Hill has every right to be furious there…

JT: Tell him to take it up with The Fanatic…

Jenny McManus is grinning as Mike Hill stares across in anger. The Fanatic continues to patrol the outside as McManus underhooks Nelson’s arms and flips him into a powerbomb, pinning him down upon landing………….1…………………2…………..Gazzy drags McManus away and drills him with the “skull crushing finale”….

JR: The champion might just get it…

1………………….2………….McManus kicks out.

JT: GazzyD almost capitalised on his warring challengers there…

Gazzy waits for both challengers to start rising and then he runs to the turnbuckle and springboards off with a double crossbody takedown. Nelson gets back to his feet and Gazzy dodges a flailing punch before connecting with a back suplex. He then connects with an inverted suplex on McManus that slams him down on top of Nelson. Gazzy works the crowd before nailing a standing moonsault on both…

JR: The champion turning it up now….he’s feeling it…

Gazzy covers Nelson as McManus rolls away…………….1………………..2…………..kickout. Gazzy gets back up and he nails McManus with a running baseball slide that sends him flying under the bottom rope before motioning for Nelson to rise…

JT: This match was supposed to be between these two….a direct re-match from Born in Fire….and it may be about to end the same way….DEEP IMPACT!

Gazzy connects with the kick to the stomach and then attempts the finish but Nelson swipes his legs and bridges over………………1………………….2……………….Gazzy kicks out!

JR: Nelson just a second away from being a two time champ…

Both men rush for their feet and Nelson ducks under Gazzy’s attack before handspringing into the ropes and twists back with a headscissors takedown. They rise again and Nelson hot-shots Gazzy off the top rope before dragging him back to the centre….

JT: Second time lucky?

HE: RAPID FIRE!

JR: History-maker!

This time Gazzy spins right through the “cross-rhodes” attempt and nails a variation of the “twist of fate”………………1………………………2…………….Mike Hill puts Nelson’s foot on the bottom rope!

JT: This match should be over…

JR: I think we knew with Hill, Jenny McManus and The Fanatic out here we were going to see plenty of interference…

Gazzy is shaking his head in disappointment as the referee indicates Nelson’s foot on the ropes. Gazzy stands and walks toward the ropes to confront Hill…

JT: McManus on the sneak…

McManus returns to the ring, behind Gazzy, and he rolls the champion up…………………1………………2…………….thr-shoulder up!

JR: McManus so close to stealing it….

Gazzy gets back up and he leaps into the air for a snap DDT but McManus catches him and dumps him over the top rope onto the apron. Gazzy slams his elbow into McManus’ jaw, knocking him back, and then prepares to catapult back in…

JT: WHAT A LARIAT!

McManus quickly responds with a brutal clothesline that spins the champion inside out on the apron and drops him to the hard flooring. McManus rubs his jaw and then turns back to Ricky Nelson, who is slowly getting back to a vertical base…

JR: Jenny McManus believes her man may be on the brink of championship gold…

JT: McManus did have a brief run as UK Champion earlier this year…but he has never managed a sustained and consistent run of form….it has always been his downfall…

HE: Winning the TV Title will change that….TOMBSTONE!

McManus scoops Nelson up on his shoulders but the former champion scrambles off the back and shoves McManus into the turnbuckle before landing an inverted DDT on the comeback. Nelson then scores with the lionsault…

JR: The Fanatic didn’t react quick enough that time…

JT: Now Jenny McManus is distracting the referee…

Jenny McManus is on the apron, remonstrating with the official, whilst The Fanatic climbs up into the ring. Mike Hill is raging…

JR: This is out and out chaos….

Nelson abandons the cover, ready to complain to the referee, as The Fanatic spins him around and grabs him by the throat…

HE: NELSON GOING FOR A RIDE!

JR: OR NOT!

JT: Mike Hill redeeming himself….

Mike Hill is on the top rope and he leaps off with a missile dropkick that staggers The Fanatic and forces him to let go. Hill and Nelson stare at one another and then nod as they rise and deliver a double running dropkick to The Fanatic that sends the big man over the top rope…

JR: Mentor and protégé working together in tandem…

James McManus is back up and he drives into Mike Hill from behind with a clothesline before running him to the ropes and he launches him to the outside. McManus trash talks Hill but is then grabbed by Nelson…

JT: RAPID…

McManus spins out and then lifts Nelson onto his back….

JR: MK ULTRA…

Nelson rolls down the back and drags McManus into a pinning combo……………..1……………..2…………kickout!

JT: TORNADO……NO!

JR: RIVER WENSUM PLUNGE!

Nelson looks for the springboard DDT but McManus catches him in midair and shoves him back into the ropes before nailing the underhooked facebuster as he returns….

The crowd cheer as Gazzy returns to the action with the aerial assault that breaks up the pin. Gazzy welcomes McManus back up and drags him in close…

JR: Side-effect….

McManus elbows his way out of the modified neckbreaker and then he lifts Gazzy onto his back…

HE: MK ULTRA!

Gazzy reaches out and grabs the top rope behind him, refusing to budge. McManus, desperately, tries to tug him away to connect with the finish but in the end he opens the door for Gazzy to swing off the ropes into a dragonrana pin…………….1………………………2…………..kickout!

JT: The champ is being put through his paces tonight…..two young lions looking to take control of the Pride……

Both men struggle back to their feet and Gazzy connects with a spinning backfist before grabbing McManus’ arm and looks to whip him to the corner. McManus reverses and sends Gazzy toward the turnbuckle before the champion runs up and backflips over his challenger…

JR: Incredible athleticism from the veteran…

Gazzy lands behind McManus, confusing the challenger, but then Ricky Nelson clatters the champion from nowhere. McManus turns, surprised, before he and Nelson deliver a double release suplex….

JT: A little teamwork, something I didn’t expect to see…

JR: They did work together for a couple of months…..it’s still there…

HE: NOT FOR LONG!

McManus nods at Nelson and then points to the top rope. Nelson looks down at Gazzy and nods his head before walking toward the turnbuckle. McManus then drives against Nelson with a splash, squashing him against the corner, before dragging him around…

JR: TOMBSTONE!

JT: McManus with the double cross…

HE: Who cares if it leads to championship gold?

Nelson battles off the back of McManus once again and then scores with a pele kick, glancing off McManus’ skull. McManus staggers and Nelson rushes after him…

JR: Drop toe hold….

JT: OH CMON!

McManus drops Nelson across the middle ropes and then Jenny slaps Nelson across the face. Mike Hill comes over to confront her but she is shoved aside as The Fanatic drills Hill with a big boot…

JR: The Fanatic with a little payback….the madness has resumed here at ringside…

JT: And James McManus is closing the show…..MK ULTRA!

McManus grins at the handiwork of his former tag partner and then he pulls Nelson to centre ring and drills him with the packaged driver.

JT: Ricky Nelson’s race may be run…

JR: But the champ is back up….

The Fanatic motions for McManus to look out for Gazzy and the challenger quickly grabs the champ and pulls him in close…

HE: TOMBSTONE!

Gazzy drops off behind McManus as The Fanatic gets up on the apron. McManus spins and looks for a short-armed lariat but Gazzy ducks and then springboards onto the turnbuckle before floating across with a dropkick (ala Chris Jericho) that sends The Fanatic crashing down onto the hard floor….

JT: WHAT A CLOSE CALL!

Gazzy gets back up as Jenny McManus now scrambles for the apron. James McManus runs forward on the attack but Gazzy dodges him as husband and wife almost collide…

JR: McManus did well not to follow through there….

Jenny McManus shrieks, expecting contact, but her husband draws up short. He makes sure his wife is ok and then turns around…

JT: DEEP IMPACT….FORGET IT!

The crowd cheer as Gazzy is waiting for McManus as he turns toward him and then drills him with the finish….Jenny McManus shrieks again but nobody pays her any attention as Gazzy makes the cover….

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner………………AND STILL 6CW Television Champion………………GaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!

JT: GazzyD has done it….the gamble has paid off and he’s turned back the challenge of two future stars….

JR: Nelson and McManus put on a display to be proud of and on another night either could be leaving with the belt….but in the end I think their own company has cost them….two many cooks spoil the broth and all that…..played into the champion’s hands and he was able to get the job done….

HE: If Ricky Nelson or James McManus had challenged individually tonight I think both would have won…..but they butted heads too often…..

JT: Two young pretenders looking to become champions and I believe both will go on to achieve great things….but there will be plenty of finger pointing tonight and this may not be the last we hear of this…

The crowd are cheering as GazzyD is handed the TV Championship. He heads for the corner to celebrate with his title whilst Ricky Nelson is sat on the canvass in disbelief at what has just happened. Mike Hill is getting up on the outside, holding his jaw, and he is motioning to Jenny McManus and The Fanatic….

JR: Mike Hill explaining to his charge what just went down….I don’t think Ricky Nelson is impressed…

Jenny McManus has her head in her hands and looks heartbroken as The Fanatic puts a hand on her shoulder and glares over at Hill and Nelson, who return the stare. GazzyD laughs at the stand-off as he leaves the ring and exits up the ramp….

JT: The reign of GazzyD continues….onto the next…..

JR: He really hasn’t missed a step….incredible level of performance once again from the human highlight reel…

Gazzy taps his hand to his heart in appreciation of the crowd’s support as he makes his way up the ramp. He stops at the top to pose with his title belt as the war of words continues at ringside between the two losing parties…

Bout 2
Daniel Reilly vs Drake

*The crowd in attendance go wild as Daniel Reilly makes his long awaited return to a 6CW ring. He takes plenty of time to milk the ovation whilst the commentary team talk through his long list of achievements and accolades

*Drake then makes his entrance, alone as per his own request. He has his eyes set on Reilly and looks full of rage as we get a recap on the long standing history between the two 6CW Originals. Reilly goads Drake and looks full of confidence at the beginning of the bout.

*Drake tries to assert his size and power but struggles to pin Reilly down. Reilly moves out of the way of several attacks whilst pot-shotting at his opponent with punches and stomps. Reilly lands a solid kick to the gut and follows up with three European uppercuts before attempting an Irish whip but Drake easily reverses. Drake looks for a big splash in the corner but Reilly avoids and then manages a dropkick but only grabs a one count before Drake powers out.

*Reilly tries to pull Drake up for a DDT but is shoved away to the ropes. Reilly bounces back with a right hand and then looks to run the ropes again but this time he returns into a big sidewalk slam. Drake mocks Reilly and then scoops him into a gutbuster for a two count

*Drake sets up for a spear but runs straight into a solid kick to the head from Reilly and then a flash hurricanrana that sends Drake crashing into the turnbuckle. Drake stumbles back around and Reilly attempts the RKO but Drake catches him and hauls him across the ring

*Drake flips Reilly into a release jackknife for a close two count as the commentary team wonder if Reilly’s choice to accept the challenge was unwise

*Drake hauls Reilly up for the “jackhammer” but Reilly floats behind and nails an inverted headlock backbreaker. Reilly goes up to the top rope for a frogsplash but Drake avoids at the final moment, sending his opponent into the canvass. Drake hits Reilly with a trifecta of German suplexes and then a step-up enzeguiri for a very close two

*Drake threatens the referee before setting up for the spear once more. This time he runs straight into a leaping DDT that gets a two count for Reilly. Reilly goes to the second rope and scores with a legdrop before ushering Drake up for another attempt at the RKO. Drake catches Reilly again and shoves him into the turnbuckle.

JT: Drake just crushed Reilly against the corner with that splash…

JR: 6’7…..275 pounds….that doesn’t tickle…

HE: Daniel Reilly should have stayed in the past….this is not the same Drake….GLORIFICATION!

Drake slams against Reilly with the splash, Reilly facing out to the crowd, and then he drags him out for the rear naked choked. Reilly tries to twist his body away, desperately avoiding the submission, and he manages to get his body in front of the referee’s line of sight…

HE: That was low….he can’t do that…

JT: Daniel Reilly was never one to play by the rules….RKO!

JR: AND THERE IT IS….LIKE HE WAS NEVER AWAY!

The crowd cheer as Reilly strikes with the blindsided low blow on Drake and then drills him into the mat with the leaping cutter…

The huge Ugandan has appeared on the stage and begins to rush down to ringside as the referee brings his hand down again……………...3!

JT: Too late to prevent the pin…

JR: But Reilly better move to prevent himself getting hurt…

The referee’s hand has barely touched down for three when Reilly has rolled from the ring to avoid the onrushing Ojore. The big Ugandan’s eyes are burning with fire as he yells at Reilly to come back and fight…

JT: Daniel Reilly knows better than to walk into a firefight with the pissed off walking Nightmare of the Wolf Gang….

HE: He deserves to be ripped apart by Ojore after what he just did….he cheated….Drake should have won the match but Reilly blatantly cheated…

JR: Reilly ran the risk of disqualification but tonight he got away with it….tonight he secures victory on his return to 6CW…

JT: The King of the Streets is back and is ruffling feathers already…

Reilly stands in the aisleway with a smirk on his face as Ojore continues to glare after him. Drake is slowly getting to his feet and looks on the verge of a fit….

JR: Old wounds reopened here tonight at Proving Grounds….

HE: Daniel Reilly better get himself far, far away because otherwise he’s going to be on the receiving end of some new wounds, mark my words…

JT: Yet more disappointment for the Wolf Gang….one has to wonder when, if ever, a change of fortunes may be coming their way...

Bout 3
Ethan Shaw vs Blade

*Yarmouth Blade is already in the ring as we return to ringside. The commentary team talk about Blade’s history in 6CW and whether tonight will be a new beginning for the former TV Champion.

*The lights then go down and Ethan Shaw makes his debut entrance. He places his golden baseball bat against the steel steps before removing his jacket and sunglasses. We get a recap of Shaw’s attack on Uryu at Born in Fire as the commentary team debate Shaw’s motives.

*The bell sounds and Blade moves around the ring but Shaw just watches him. Blade beckons for his opponent to fight and approaches but Shaw headbutts him clean in the face, busting his nose immediately. Blade staggers back and Shaw almost takes his head off with a devastating brogue kick. Shaw is extremely aggressive as he rags Blade up and destroys him with a huge spinebuster which shakes the ring.

*The referee implores Shaw to show mercy and finish the job but Shaw chokes Blade on the canvass to the count of four before releasing. He allows Blade up before spinning him out into a release powerbomb that causes Blade to land, sickeningly, on the back of his neck.

*Blade’s nose is pouring blood as the commentators assume it is broken. Ethan Shaw, looking unmoved and callous, stalks Blade.

JT: Shaw can end this anytime he likes….

JR: He knows that, but he doesn’t care….he’s enjoying this…

HE: This is a scary man…

JR: And this is a man that Uryu Ishida wants to pursue? Perhaps he should reconsider…

JT: You know Uryu won’t do that….

HE: THEN THIS IS WHAT AWAITS HIM!

Shaw’s eyes darken as he sees Blade getting to his feet. He grabs his opponent’s wrist and pulls him into a codebreaker but keeps hold of his head as they land, transitioning straight into a triangle choke…

JR: This is exactly what he did to Uryu at Born in Fire…

JT: Blade is out….

The referee sees Blade’s body go limp and immediately signals for the bell to end the contest. Shaw ignores the bell and the referee’s pleas as he continues to choke Blade…

JR: He’s out, break the hold…

JT: This man is a sadistic son of a b1tch….he’s a serious danger to the 6CW locker-room…

HE: I don’t know what they paid Blade for this appearance but it wasn’t enough….he didn’t even land a blow…

JR: He didn’t get a chance….Ethan Shaw absolutely annihilated him out here…..talk about making a statement…

JT: That’s twice we have seen Ethan Shaw now and twice he has left devastation in his wake….

HE: A penny for the thoughts of Uryu right now….he doesn’t want any of this…

After another minute, Shaw finally releases and leaves the prone form of Blade, face-down, on the canvass. The referee looks intimidated as he keeps his distance and checks on Blade’s condition….

JR: Our well wishes go out to Yarmouth Blade right now….he was the victim of a serious beating right there…..OH CMON!

JT: The 6CW Council need to seriously reconsider this man’s contract…..he’s a lunatic…

Shaw leaves the ring, momentarily, but then returns with his baseball bat. The referee tries to intervene but quickly runs for cover as Shaw points the weapon at him. Yarmouth Blade is barely on his knees as Shaw jabs the bat into his chest cavity and then crashes it down across the back of his foe’s neck…

JR: He might have just broken his neck…..that was sick…

JT: Ethan Shaw sending out a very worrying message to the rest of the 6CW locker-room here…

Blade twitches once or twice before succumbing to complete unconsciousness as the cameras zoom in on the face of Ethan Shaw. Shaw broods and oozes sinister…

HE: We are looking at a very, very dark individual….

JT: I agree….it’s not often we witness an in-ring debut that leaves us feeling so uncomfortable but that’s exactly what has just happened here….

JR: We have no idea what motivates Ethan Shaw or what his goal is here in 6CW but I feel for anyone who is standing in the way…

JT: They’re going to need their wits about them whoever they are...

*Christy James is waiting in the backstage area for an impromptu interview with Ethan Shaw. Christy lets her emotions get the better of her after accusing Shaw of attacking Uryu and being a coward. Shaw looks unmoved but then Christy slaps him and he corners her. Uryu rushes in to attack Shaw and get him away from Christy but Shaw ends up getting the upper hand and he launches Uryu against the wall and leaves him slumped. Shaw turns back to Christy but finds GazzyD standing there. Shaw weighs up the options and then leaves. Uryu starts to recover but Gazzy glares at him in anger as he takes Christy by the hand and leads her away. Uryu is left tending to his injuries

*Charles Kramer accosts Renier Grohl in the backstage area and tries to dig for information on the identities of the 6CW Council but Grohl tells him he is merely here in an advisory capacity and he doesn't have that kind of information. Kramer continues to try and butter Grohl up but eventually he excuses himself. We see Kramer on the phone telling someone "It's time to begin" before hanging up

*Liam Wood is interviewed and seems renewed after winning the UK Championship at Born in Fire. Wood wants to emulate his EWF run by becoming a double champion and that starts tonight with a win that puts destiny in his own hands. Timothy Allen remarks on a change in Wood's attitude and wants to know the secret but Wood merely grins and remains coy. Wood wants to put the Wolf Gang feud behind him and move on but warns that he won't hesitate to put any of them down if they try to stand in the way of him winning the Interim World Championship. This brings The Wolf Gang into shot. Reborn, Ojore and Drake goad Wood but then Tyler Roth, Perfect Jack and Jackson Jackson come walking in. Crime Lord appears and remarks on how he should already be the 6CW Champion but this tournament will leave no doubt in anyone's mind. Karl Kramer and Charles Kramer enter the fray and there is a staredown with Tyler Roth whilst we get a view of Clarke James watching the stand-off with a smirk on his face. CJ is looking at a picture of he and Marshall in the height of their success and then he tears the picture in half as he heads for ringside.

JT: Looks like we are at boiling point backstage….

JR: That’s what happens when you tell eight of the best, most competitive, superstars on the roster that they are in with a chance of becoming the Interim 6CW World Champion….

HE: Full champion, no way will Marshall Murdoch be returning…

JT: We don’t know anything for definite….but the 6CW Council is moving ahead and acting accordingly….that way, if Marshall doesn’t return then we already have someone to step into the top spot and claim the throne for themselves…

JR: As with any tournament it is vital to negotiate the best possible route to the final and tonight will help them on their way….they may not like one another but this is a test of how far they are willing to go….can they work together?

JT: I think in some quarters that is going to be nigh on impossible….

“Out of the black” echoes out to unanimous boos from the crowd that have been granted entry into the building. Pyros explode across the front of the stage and through the gloom a shadow appears in the entranceway….

JR: Two weeks before Born in Fire Crime Lord came within seconds of becoming the world champion…

HE: If Perfect Jack hadn’t stuck his nose where it didn’t belong then he would have…

JT: Jack wanted to be the man to dethrone Marshall…..he wanted a definitive culmination to their month long feud…..he saw Crime Lord trying to muscle in on the scene, potentially scuppering the Born in Fire main event, and he did what he had to….

JR: Now Crime Lord has another opportunity…..the former 6WF Champion is still chasing his maiden world title win here in 6CW…

Crime Lord ignores the boos from the crowd as he climbs up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes. He paces the ring as “Take me to the hospital” booms out to cheers…

JT: Five former world champions in this match and here is another….Jackson Jackson spent over two hundred days as the 6CW Champion….

HE: And he won’t have another…

JR: You confident? Jackson won the title during the Iron Man Tournament so he’s got experience in this situation….

HE: Look at the level of competition between that tournament and this one….Jackson capitalised on an era just finding its feet…..since he lost that belt he hasn’t been able to buy a big match victory….

JT: Jackson’s form has been sporadic, that cannot be denied….culminating in defeat at Born in Fire against Tyler Roth….but this young man is supremely talented and his confidence is still intact…

JR: I think Jackson may be an outsider but he’s certainly worth a punt…

JT: We saw Jackson earlier and his response to Clarke James’ actions at Born in Fire….it’ll be interesting to see how that unfolds during this match…

Jackson nods in appreciating of the crowd’s support and then rolls into the ring. He grins at Crime Lord and then climbs onto the turnbuckle as “Sandwitches” beams through the airwaves…

JR: Former world champion #3…..

JT: And former United Kingdom Champion too…..it’s been a rough two weeks for Robin Reborn…

HE: Reborn was above that level anyway…..he’s evolving to the main event scene now….The Wolf Gang are priming for a takeover….

JR: Reborn and the “Liberation” movement are certainly setting their sights on the lofty heights of the 6CW Championship…..there is no bigger or more pronounced platform in professional wrestling to have your voice heard…

JT: Reborn claims that he and the Wolf Gang are forcing change and revolutionising the business but I think deep down he just wants the power…

HE: Reborn wants his oppressors to be held accountable….if he has the 6CW Championship then they’ll have to listen to him….

JR: Unsurprisingly he hasn’t come alone….

Three spotlights hit the stage as Ojore & Drake flank their leader. Reborn holds his arms to the side and preaches into the camera as he walks down the ramp. The two behemoths patrol the outside as Reborn climbs inside…

JT: Reborn looking to bounce back, quickly, from losing the UK Title to this man……former world champion #4….

JR: Liam Wood is back on form….and back with a smile on his face…..something I didn’t think I’d ever say again…

“Revival Mode” is playing out as Liam Wood enters the fray. The cameras show Robin Reborn’s eyes have narrowed and both Ojore and Drake are flexing as they watch the new UK Champion make his way to ringside…

JT: Liam Wood would love a fourth reign at the top table here in 6CW…..

JR: That would make him a double champion too…..

JT: Not for the first time in his career…..Wood first shot to prominence as both the EWF World and TV Champion….could history be set to repeat itself?

HE: Not a chance….he used up all his luck at Born in Fire….no way will Ojore or Drake allow that to happen again…

Wood scales the turnbuckle and raises his title belt into the air as the crowd cheer. Wood and Reborn lock eyes, dislike emanating from both, and then “O Fortuna” hits the speaker system…

HE: Bow down to the King….

JT: You can bow if you like but I’ll carry on sitting, thanks…

HE: Show some respect to 6CW Royalty…..the only thing missing from the crown jewels is the 6CW Championship and now it is within reach…

JR: King Karl Kramer is coming into this off the back of a monumental win at Born in Fire over Uryu Ishida…..a match of the year contender, for sure…

JT: And he had plenty of help securing that win, as usual….

HE: You just can’t give him any credit, can you?

JT: I can but I won’t because he doesn’t deserve it….Kramer is a near 400 pound man, he is built like a God and he fights like a warrior and yet his snivelling uncle, Charles, bails him out time and again….I’d respect Karl a damn sight more if he kicked that interfering idiot to the curb….

HE: They are a Royal bloodline…..blood is thicker than water, Jeff…

JT: Unfortunately Karl is thicker than both…..if he had two brain cells to rub together he’d be a very dangerous man….

HE: You better watch your tongue….

Karl and Charles Kramer stand on the stage and bask in the negative reception that is being afforded to the King of 6CW. Charles removes the Royal robe and crown before following his nephew to ringside…..Karl climbs up inside as his uncle positions himself near to Drake and Ojore…

JR: I notice he’s already trying to weasel his way into Renier Grohl’s good books too….

JT: Always an eye on exploitation, that is what he does….I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him…..he’s scheming and I’d love to know what he has planned…

HE: What he has planned is guiding his nephew to the 6CW Championship….

JR: I think it is the method of making that happen that is of concern….

“Riot” then echoes out and Jackson Jackson stiffens slightly as Tyler Roth strides onto the stage. Charles Kramer can be seen stepping onto the apron to whisper to his nephew….

JT: All eyes on The Reaper….for many this man is the favourite heading into this tournament….

JR: Hard to argue on that…..Roth is yet to taste pinfall or submission defeat since rejoining 6CW…….he is a force to be reckoned with and has dominated everyone who has stepped in front of him…..just ask Jackson Jackson….

HE: Jackson should be happy he’s got Roth on his team tonight…..that gives him a much better chance of winning….

JT: I don’t think either are ever going to be on the other’s Xmas card list but tonight they need to work together if they want the opportunity of picking their opponent in the first round of the tournament….

JR: Jackson definitely wants that so he doesn’t have to pick Roth….

HE: I think Tyler Roth is more concerned with the Kramer Klan and vice versa….

JT: There is definitely deeper roots to this one….more so than I think even the King of 6CW realises….he doesn’t seem impressed by his uncle’s interest in Roth….

Roth leaps up onto the apron and he glares across the ring at Charles and Karl Kramer before stepping through the ropes. The referee makes sure both teams are separated as Roth turns his attention to Jackson & Liam Wood…..

JR: You look in that ring already, at both teams, and there is so much history between them…..Roth and Jackson….Jackson and Wood…..not long ago Crime Lord and Karl Kramer were beating the holy hell out of each other……Reborn and Wood…..so many elements for an explosion…

JT: And we haven’t even added the accelerant yet….

“Perfection” screams out to a standing ovation from the crowd in attendance. Purple and silver pyros erupt into the air as Perfect Jack comes striding out into view…

JR: Two weeks ago this man came so close to being 6CW Champion…

HE: But he blew it….he shouldn’t be getting another chance…

JT: He hardly blew it…..PJ made Marshall tap out in the centre of the ring, just as he predicted, but unfortunately the referee had been knocked out and couldn’t make the call…..then after a series of unfortunate events…

HE: Alright Lemony Snicket….

JT: PJ’s dreams of being champion evaporated after a head clash with Clarke James which lead to Marshall being able to get the pinfall….the rest of course is well documented history…

JR: We are all still reeling from what unfolded afterwards…..Jack was receiving medical attention at ringside when the world champion was brutally assaulted by Clarke James…

HE: And he just stood there and watched….

JT: What was he supposed to do? He was concussed…he was busted wide open, had lost so much blood, and just wrestled the fight of his life….not to mention the shock…..why didn’t you do anything, Henry? You just sat on your fat a55 and watched like the rest of us….

Jack is still sporting the wound on his head from Born in Fire but he looks in a confident mood as he circles the ring and then presses his hand to the plexiglass barrier in order to thank the fans for their support. PJ rolls into the ring….

JR: Jack, just like all of us, had no idea what was on Clarke James’ mind when appeared at ringside at Born in Fire….PJ just wanted to be world champion…

HE: Please….he stoked the flames just as much as anyone…he was complicit in the growing animosity between Marshall and Clarke….

JT: Jack’s main focus was the 6CW Championship…..he was enveloped in a situation that he wanted no part of but was forced to adapt to….but I don’t care who you are, nobody could have predicted what was about to happen…..it was clear earlier tonight just how disgusted Jack is with Clarke James’ actions….

JR: Just like Jackson Jackson was too….

PJ inclines his head quickly to Wood and glares at Tyler Roth before turning to Jackson Jackson. They exchange a knowing look and then a brief hug….

JT: Two men who have shared a great tag team rivalry as well as a friendship….they are both in the same boat as far as shock and appalment….

JR: They and Clarke James were part of the same social circle….it is incredibly disturbing to see the route their friend has taken….

The lights in the arena suddenly drop to complete darkness and there are boos from the audience as “Blind Faith” begins to echo out. A lone light hits the entranceway as “JUDAS” appears on the big screen and then Clarke James steps into the view…

JT: The most talked about man in professional wrestling….

JR: And that’s exactly what he wanted…..what he has always wanted….Clarke James’ actions at Born in Fire are a result of a desperate need and desire to be the number one attraction in this business…..sick of being confined to the shadows….

HE: Because his worth and talent has never been appreciated…..second fiddle to Hero, sidekick to JJ Johnson, and best friend of Marshall Murdoch…..well now is Clarke James’ time to shine…

JT: How can you condone what he did? Marshall Murdoch might have been blinded after that assault at Born in Fire…..Clarke James is a narcissistic psychopath…..an egomanic…..

JR: I think it goes even beyond that….because CJ feels and shows no remorse for his actions….he genuinely believes that what he did was justified…

HE: CJ and Marshall were “brothers” and Marshall constantly looked down on him, misused and abused their relationship…..he was happy for Clarke to help him win matches but then would chastise him afterward…..Marshall took and he took but gave nothing back and when he’d had enough he tried to discard CJ like he meant nothing……

JT: Marshall was trying to cut his own path….strike it out on his own and prove himself as a worthy world champion….

HE: He may as well of spat in CJ’s face the way he treated him…..don’t act like Marshall is innocent in all of this…

JR: I don’t think anyone will claim it is black and white….both men are shrouded in shades of grey, they always have been, but Clarke’s actions were utterly deplorable…

HE: Violence breeds violence….look what Marshall did to Hero, I didn’t hear you shrieking from the rooftops about that….

JT: The Church of Hero certainly brainwashed both men….it contributed to their very warped perceptions and doubtlessly fed into their desire to inflict pain and suffering…

HE: This was an inevitability from the very beginning…..Hero knew that….he knew when he recruited them that one day they would turn on one another…..cut from the same cloth….it’s Cain & Abel….

JR: Well I guess we’ll never know as it was CJ who turned first and spilt the blood of his “brother” all over the canvass at Born in Fire…..we may never see Marshall Murdoch again, we just don’t know….

JT: And now CJ’s path is clear…..he wanted the limelight and now he’s got it….

HE: This has been a long time coming…..

The boos continue to rain as Clarke James stands in the aisleway and stares up at the ring. Perfect Jack and Jackson Jackson are staring back at their friend with an ominous foreboding but he merely continues to stare before making his way round to the corner of his teammates. Crime Lord is eyeing Clarke up with mistrust….

JR: Everyone looking at CJ like a bomb that cannot be diffused….

JT: Just waiting for it to go off, again….

HE: Finally the respect that he has craved….

The referee is having words with both teams as internal discussions take place as to who is going to start the bout. Crime Lord looks ready to take the mantle but CJ steps in front of him…

JR: Clarke James wants centre stage….

JT: And Perfect Jack is going to meet him there…something sinisterly poetic about this…

JR: The two men left standing after the bloodbath at Born in Fire…

JT: Friends now divided by uncertainty….

HE: They’re on different paths now….

JR: Well actually they are on the same path….the one leading toward the Interim 6CW Championship…

HE: Plenty are going to fall by the wayside along the way….Jack better start realising that if Marshall was dispensable then he is too…

JT: CJ was still eerily kind and sincere toward both Jack and Jackson earlier tonight, though, as though he still expected to be friends….he was almost mystified by their reservedness…

JR: Jack and Jackson, up until tonight, hadn’t shown any denigration…..that, however, has now changed…

HE: Exactly….which means now they are just as much of a target as anyone else….

PJ is eyeing Clarke up as though he doesn’t recognise him. They circle each other and Jack is trying to talk to his friend but James shows no signs of wanting to chat as he launches forward, planting his boot into PJ’s stomach…

JT: Jack was quite contemptuous with his words earlier tonight….

HE: And now he’s going to regret that….

CJ lifts Jack’s head so he can look into his eyes and then he drives the back of his elbow into the mouth of his opponent, staggering PJ to the ropes. CJ follows up with a series of hard right hands to the jaw before he grabs Jack’s wrist and looks to whip him across the ring…

JR: CJ shouldn’t underestimate Jack….he knows better than most how talented his friend is…

JT: Former Co-UK, International and Tag Team Champions….

Jack swings inside and then drags CJ toward him in centre ring before unleashing with an overhead throw. They get back up and Jack stops Ceej in his tracks with a lashed chop to the chest and a sharp European uppercut before launching CJ with a release German suplex…

JT: Jack getting fired up now…

JR: Desperate to show that he is the favourite to become Interim 6CW Champion…

Jack thinks about making the tag but instead he beckons for CJ to stand up. He grabs the arm of his opponent and pulls him forward…

JT: Jack may be hoping to beat some of CJ’s new attitude out of him….PERFECT SLAM!

CJ manages to jump out back and he rakes down the spine of PJ before planting him with a spinebuster. Clarke gets up and Crime Lord slaps him on the back…

JR: No love lost here…

HE: Crime Lord opened Clarke’s eyes at Born in Fire…..they need to put their differences aside…

JT: I don’t think that is likely to happen….Crime Lord tried to savage James two weeks ago…

Clarke and Crime Lord glare at one another as CL climbs into the ring. CJ eventually steps aside as Crime Lord pulls Jack up into a huge suplex. Crime Lord bounces back off the ropes and returns with a heavy elbow drop to the chest…………..1…………..2…………...kickout!

JR: Crime Lord is another man in this match with a claim to the throne….a month ago at Proving Grounds he was mere seconds away from winning the 6CW Championship…

JT: If it hadn’t been for the man he is currently man-handling then he would be…

HE: And that is why Perfect Jack deserves this beating….

Crime Lord rags PJ to his feet and launches him against the turnbuckle before stomping a vicious mudhole in his midsection. He slams into PJ’s face with a solid back elbow and then scores with five successive headbutts to the neck before dragging Jack away and scoops him up…

JR: Crime Lord looking to finish this quickly and send a message...LOCK N LOAD!

Crime Lord sets for the F-5 but PJ scrambles off back. Jack grabs Crime Lord around the waist for a German suplex but Crime Lord quickly slams his elbow back into Jack’s face and breaks free. Crime Lord drives a momentous knee into Jack’s gut and whips him off the ropes before planting him with a “sky high” powerbomb as he returns…

JT: Might be enough…

Crime Lord stares at Wood as the referee backs the UK Champion back to the corner. Crime Lord stands and he shuffles into the corner whilst he waits for Jack to start rising…

HE: Only prolonging Jack’s misery, though…..DRIVE BY!

Crime Lord rushes out for the punt kick but Jack reacts and catches the foot of his foe. Jack stands and he kicks out Crimey’s other leg…

JT: FIGURE FOUR!

Jack twists for the submission but Crime Lord plants his boot in the back and shoves him away. Crime Lord scrambles back up and rushes at PJ for a leaping splash but finds nobody home as he smashes into the turnbuckle…

JR: SNAP DRAGON!

Jack snaps Crime Lord onto the back of his neck with the release suplex but rolls away to recover himself….

JT: Jack could really do with a tag right now….

JR: Both men perhaps…

JT: Jackson Jackson about to get his first taste of action for the night…

Jack slaps Jackson’s hand and the former world champ leaps over the ropes. Crime Lord gets up and Jackson hits him with three snap jabs before looking for an Irish whip…

JR: Crime Lord much too strong in that scenario…

JT: BUT JACKSON IS QUICKER!

Crime Lord reverses the whip and sends Jackson toward the corner but JJ leaps onto the turnbuckle and backflips off, catching Crime Lord coming in with a modified “shiranui” takedown. They get back up and Jackson feints for a superkick to the jaw but instead takes out Crime Lord’s knees before landing a second superkick to the face. Crime Lord is flat on his back as Jackson takes to the turnbuckle….

JR: Jackson looking much more like his old self right there…..JACKSAULT!

The flashbulbs go off and the crowd cheer as Jackson launches himself into the double rotation moonsault and lands it with aplomb……………...1………………...2…………...Karl Kramer breaks the count!

HE: No way was Kramer or anyone on Crime Lord’s team going to just allow that to go down that way….

Karl Kramer rags Jackson to his feet and is about to hit “Karnage” when Liam Wood leaps off the top rope with a lariat takedown that sends KK rolling from the ring…

JT: INCOMING!

JR: The referee needs to get a quick hold on this…

Robin Reborn springboards in and he lands a “phenomenal” forearm to the back of Wood’s head, sending his rival through the ropes to the outside. Tyler Roth is about to climb in and take his shot but the referee intervenes….

JT: The official doing the right thing otherwise these eight men would be off the leash and then who knows what would happen….

Roth is furious but he backs off which allows Reborn to make the official tag from Crime Lord. Reborn quickly pulls Jackson toward centre ring…

JR: GOD’S POWERFUL WRATH!

Jackson counters into a northern lights suplex…………...1………………….2…………..kickout. They scramble up and Reborn looks for a sharp kick to the stomach but JJ catches his foot…

JT: What a whip!

Reborn leaps up and lands an enzeguiri with his free foot that sends Jackson staggering to the corner. Reborn charges in with flying knees to the back (ala Elijah Burke) and then he stalks Jackson out of the corner….

HE: WORLD STAR!

Reborn connects with the “zigzag” neckbreaker and hooks both legs………….1……………….2…………...Tyler Roth breaks the count!

JT: Two weeks ago Tyler Roth was launching Jackson around the ring at Born in Fire….now he’s saving him from defeat…

Reborn urges the referee to keep Roth away from him as he heads for the corner. RR climbs high and looks to be setting up for a shooting star press but Jackson recovers enough to swipe his feet. Jackson climbs up to join him on the top of the turnbuckle….

JR: Precarious position for both men to be in here…...OH MY!

The flashbulbs go off and the fans cheer as Jackson drags Reborn into a phenomenal top rope “Spanish Fly” that sends both men crashing into the canvass….

JT: Huge risk taking from Jackson Jackson….

JR: And that just blew this match wide open….both men in need of a tag here…

Jackson and Reborn are both feeling the effects of the top rope manoeuvre and they take their time to inch across the canvass…

HE: Here comes the King….

JT: ROTH TAGGED!

Karl Kramer gets the early tag from Reborn and looks to cut Jackson off but cannot prevent Tyler Roth from tagging in. Charles Kramer looks concerned as Roth runs straight through his nephew with a huge clothesline…

JR: The tension has been bubbling between these two for quite some time…

Roth beckons Kramer back up and he lands a stiff European uppercut before following with a brutal discus lariat that drops the “King” once again. There are some cheers from the crowd as Roth drags Kramer back to his feet…

JT: Roth about to show his abnormal power….

HE: No way can he lift Kramer…

JR: He can and he is….

Roth just about has Kramer up on his shoulders when Clarke James attacks him from behind. Roth spins to confront CJ but that allows Kramer to steal in and score with a leaping spear…………...1…………..2………….kickout!

JT: Clarke James once again showing that devil may care attitude….not many men would willingly anger Tyler Roth…

JR: He just doesn’t seem to care anymore….he’s exuding a new persona altogether….

Kramer kneels over Roth and lands with a succession of hard right hands and then offers the tag, surprisingly, to Crime Lord. They work in tandem to haul Roth up and land a double suplex…

JT: I didn’t think Kramer or Crime Lord would want to work together…

JR: The lure of picking your tournament opponent is keeping them on the same page…

Crime Lord quickly follows up with a running legdrop off the ropes…………...1……………..2………….Roth kicks out!

JT: If Crime Lord was to become the Interim 6CW Champion I believe it could spark the revival of his dominance….many forget how he ruled with an “Iron Fist” during his reigns in 6WF, he completely outclassed some of the very best to ever set foot in this business….

HE: Factor in that he should already be the champion and you can see that he has a point to prove….he’s a man on a mission and that makes him doubly dangerous….

Crime Lord grips Tyler Roth in a half nelson as he drags him up and delivers knees to the head. He pushes him back against the ropes and looks for an Irish whip but Roth is able to reverse…

JR: Crime Lord is strong but I don’t think anyone has more power in 6CW than Tyler Roth….

Roth drops his head on the comeback for a backdrop but Crime Lord stops short and kicks him in the head. Roth sways and Crime Lord scoops him up…

JT: LOCK N LOOOOOH!

Roth smashes huge elbows into the jaw of Crime Lord and drops behind before spinning him into a huge uranage backbreaker. He holds Crime Lord in place for a moment and then lifts him again into a release uranage slam…

JR: That is monstrous power….

Roth snarls and looks across at the opposing team as he runs the ropes and returns with a pump through knee strike that connects with Crime Lord’s jaw as he tries to stand up…

JT: Like getting hit in the head with a sledgehammer…

JR: Crime Lord displaying the toughness that we know he possesses….but Roth is unlikely to relent…

Roth hold Crime Lord’s head down with one hand and punches at it with the other until the referee intervenes. He then motions for Crime Lord to get back to his feet…

JT: Roth may be about set to begin THE REAPING!

Clarke James, Robin Reborn and Karl Kramer all storm the ring at the same time to attack Roth and prevent him from nailing the finish. Roth tries to battle them away but CJ stamps on the back of his knee which allows Reborn to grab his head and drive both knees under his chin and sends him into Kramer’s path….

HE: KARNAGE…

JT: Here comes backup….

Kramer hits Roth with the spinebuster as Perfect Jack, Liam Wood and Jackson Jackson enter the fray. Wood clatters Reborn and sends him through the ropes onto the apron as Jackson dropkicks Kramer to the deck and Jack goes face to face with CJ once more…

JR: Jack just doesn’t seem to be able to come to terms with the version of Clarke James in front of him….

CJ looks to turn away but Jack grabs his shoulder and spins him around before questioning him on his actions. James shoves Jack away in warning but PJ answers back with a shove of his own….

JT: Complete disrespect….that isn’t the man you used to know, Jack…

The crowd boo as CJ slaps Jack in the mouth and then he grabs him and launches him through the ropes into the ringpost. Jack drops out to the hard floor and CJ follows him…

JR: CJ already decimated one of his former friends at Born in Fire….now he’s going after a second…

JT: WHAT A SHOT!

Reborn is up on the apron as Liam Wood flies through the ropes with a spear that sends them both flying off the apron and they collide with Ojore & Drake, sending all four men sprawling across the floor….

JR: Drake and Ojore on hand to catch Reborn again….I think he’ll be more thankful tonight than at Born in Fire…

Karl Kramer has rolled from the ring and Jackson grabs the top rope to vault over for a crossbody but Kramer catches him in his arms. KK drives Jackson into the ringpost and then powerslams him across the top of the announce table…

JT: Chaos beginning to descend upon proceedings now….

HE: Crime Lord has the cover…

In the ring, Crime Lord has draped an arm over Tyler Roth’s chest which prompts the referee to count………………….1………………………...2…………………..kickout!

JR: Crime Lord almost capitalising there and stealing one whilst everyone else is brawling at ringside…

HE: He’s still in pole position to finish the job…

Crime Lord stumbles up in the corner, taking deep breaths, and he motions for Roth to raise his head off the canvass before storming forward…

JR: DRIVE BY!

Crime Lord runs toward centre for the huge knee but Roth catches him mid-run and uses the momentum to scoop him up into an inverted STO (End of Days)...Roth gets back to a vertical base and then destroys Crime Lord with a fisherman’s cradle into a musclebuster….

JT: Roth has it sewn up here…

…...Karl Kramer drags Roth under the bottom rope and lashes him over the head with the royal sceptre…

JR: How did the referee miss that?

HE: I don’t know what you mean….nothing happened…

JT: It damn well did….but it happened so fast….

Charles Kramer is smirking as KK then grabs Roth’s head and smashes it against the steel steps with such force that Roth slumps to the floor, unmoving. Clarke James then drags Perfect Jack around to the steps and places his head on them….

JR: Don’t do it, Clarke….it’s not too late….

HE: He is way beyond the point of no return now….

CJ climbs onto the steps as well and he is preparing to stomp Jack’s head into the steel when Jackson Jackson hauls him off the steps to confront him…

JT: Another of Clarke’s friends….is he going to turn on Jackson too?

HE: Clarke James has come to realise he doesn’t need “friends”….they’ve never got him anywhere before…

CJ is just glaring at Jackson as JJ pleads with him and asks him what he is thinking. James shakes his head and looks to move away but Jackson pulls him back….

JR: Jackson not willing to just turn his back on a friend….

HE: He’s too busy concentrating on a lost cause…

Crime Lord has rolled from the ring and he attacks Jackson from behind. He slams JJ’s head off the announce table several times before running him at the ringside barrier and launches him upside down against it. Jackson is in a lot of pain as Crime Lord hauls him back in the ring….

HE: Jackson’s number is up now….this is his punishment for sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong…

JT: It’s not a crime to look out for a friend, Henry….

HE: It should be…

Liam Wood tries to get up on the apron but Clarke James grabs his heel and rips him back down, causing the UK Champion’s head to smash off the solid ring and crumple. Crime Lord is kneeling in the corner and ordering Jackson Jackson to get up…

JR: Crime Lord ready to finish this…..WAIT JUST A MINUTE!

HE: What are you doing, Clarke?

JT: A change of heart?

Crime Lord is preparing for the “Drive By” knee when Clarke James rolls into the ring and blocks the path to Jackson Jackson. Crime Lord is staring at CJ in disbelief…

HE: Don’t do this, Clarke….don’t go back to your simpering ways…

JT: Clarke James and Jackson are friends...hopefully there is some shred of humanity left in there…

Crime Lord looks angry but CJ just glares at him. Perfect Jack then drags Crime Lord under the ropes and German suplexes him on the concrete…

JR: Perfect Jack taking advantage there but even he doesn’t seem to know what to expect from Clarke James…

JT: Nobody does…

Tyler Roth staggers up and tries to get toward the ring but Ojore and Drake grab hold of him…

JR: They have no right….they aren’t in this match….

The referee sees the infringement and quickly rushes over to order that Drake and Ojore release Roth. In the ring, Jackson is on his knees and looking up at Clarke James in confusion…

JT: Jackson knows that Clarke James just saved him….but he, just like us, has no idea why…

JR: Clarke James’ conscience seems to have returned…

CJ offers a hand out to Jackson and helps him up. Jackson looks shocked as CJ drags him and hugs him…

JT: This is the last thing I expected….

JR: What did Clarke just whisper to Jackson?

HE: OH YES!

Clarke mutters something and Jackson’s eyes widen but he can’t react quick enough to prevent the knee between the legs. CJ then drills Jackson with “Faithless”….

HE: Look at Perfect Jack’s face…

Jack is up on the outside and he looks horrified by what has just happened. He rushes for the ring but Karl Kramer cuts him off with a “pounce” tackle that sends him flying across the hard floor….Tyler Roth pulls free of Drake and Ojore, headbutting Drake in the face and then hammers Ojore with a right hand….Roth shoots for the ring as the referee turns to make the count…

JT: Roth looking to put a stop to this…

Robin Reborn grabs Roth’s ankles to stop him getting under the bottom rope as the referee completes the three count and “Blind Faith” echoes through the airwaves…

HE: This is perfect….what a way to end this show…

JT: This is a disgrace….Clarke James has turned his back on anyone and everyone who ever gave a damn about him….he truly is a narcissistic SOB….

HE: He’s a winner….that is all that matters….Clarke James’ destiny is now in his own hands and he’s having more success than ever….Marshall Murdoch, Perfect Jack and now Jackson Jackson they were all holding him back….but the shackles are off…

JR: Are we looking at the future Interim 6CW Champion?

Tyler Roth is furious as Robin Reborn retreats from him with a smirk. Roth holds his head, still feeling the effects of the sceptre shot, as Charles and Karl Kramer raise their arms from the opposite side of the ring….Clarke James is standing over Jackson Jackson as the referee raises his arm in victory…

JT: Clarke James will have the first pick in the Interim Title Tournament….but his teammates benefit too because Karl Kramer, Robin Reborn and Crime Lord will have their choices straight after…

JR: And the landscape to “World’s End” is shaping up now…..these eight men have gone to war tonight but in two weeks’ time they battle in four separate bouts to determine who will move one step closer to world championship glory….

JT: And of course becoming Interim 6CW Champion is the grand prize….but this evolution in Clarke James’ character has to be the main talking point here tonight…..in a fortnight he has turned on everyone that ever considered him a “friend”…..

HE: Clarke James has finally realised that he and he alone is in control of his path to success….he doesn’t need any of those hangers on….he is finally in the spotlight….he is the main event and nobody is going to take that from him….

Perfect Jack stumbles to his feet and he stares up at the ring as Clarke James turns to face him. They continue to lock eyes as the show comes to an end.
