Who is going to win
Who is going to win this year's 2 Nations?
England or France?
Don't want to cause any offence but it is a two horse race.

I'll go for France on this one, England have lost a bit of their edge.
NOT TO MENTION THEIR FIRST GAME......AT HOME......AGAINST SCOTLAND!!

What I love most about TightHEAD's posts are that he likes them as well. And he's the only one.

I mean its a tighthead thread so thinly veiled wum (see comments on the wales ireland thread). That said I'd still favour England at this point.

Re: Who is going to win this year's 2 Nations?
Joking aside this weekend has really blwon things wide open. France are blatantly the big favourites but have a cuple of really tough away fixtures. Weales might not look very good but have one tough win under their belts. Ireland are clearly a pretty handy side, and Scotland are playing some of the bets rugby they ever have done. Its hard to imagine England will stay as bad as they were last weekend and have the big teams at home, so could still turn things around.
It might be getting a bit tedious watching the euro sides play each other but its such a competitive tournament (Italy aside).

France are strong favourites now, the only other team that could match or exceed their ability is England, and England are playing well below themselves currently.
That said the French ability to hit the self-destruct button is unrivalled.

All to play for for England.
France aren't up to much. Only a matter of time before they have their annual fall out within their camp.

I agree England do have a chance but they will have really smash Wales next game out. and playing Wales at home cannot see that happening.

Re: Who is going to win this year's 2 Nations?
Just bringing this back to the top, so Tight can adjust his poll...
You have two choices Tight... either change the poll to
Who is going to win this year's 2 Nations?
Wales or France
OR
Who is going to win this year's Wooden Spoon?
England or Italy
Dont mind which you change it to..
As the saying goes.. "Pride Comes Before the Fall" - You'd have thought English Rugby would have learnt that by now..

On the trolling scale this thread deserves 7/10 for effort
The actual wit and execution only merits a 3/10 though

Re: Who is going to win this year's 2 Nations?
So what are the odds on England to finish bottom of the 5 competitive teams in the tournament then?
Funnily enough I read somewhere they were miles ahead of the other NH teams

Well at least the author was right in the sense that it seems to be a two horse race.

Very low odds. One swallow doesn't make a summer, nor do two.
England will finish 3rd at worst. It's the price they're paying for not overplaying their hand this far out from a world cup.
