Cipriani joining Bath
On a one year extended contract according to BBC. Interesting signing and I reckon a good one. Replacement for Priestland, not sure Cips kicking as good from tee but his play making is better.

Re: Cipriani joining Bath
Already in the rumours topic.
What I said there and will say again is that this looks a bit of a desperate move by Bath. They either didn't expect Priestland to go or their preferred options turned them down/were unavailable. A one year deal buys them more time to sign someone in long term. Shoeman and Matavesi aren't the top 4 flyhalf standard they want and in their late 20s aren't going to be particularly long term options to develop into the role. Surprised Bailey hasn't been drip fed some experience from the bench.
Cipriani with that Bath backline there's lots of attacking talent there but Hooper doesn't like to play expansive rugby. He forced Burns out who could have delivered that. Spencer can take on the kicking to help Cips. For a year at least I hope Cips is allowed to play his game at Bath and a backline of Spencer, Cipriani, Roko/Cocka, Redpath, Joseph, McConochie, Watson should be fun to watch.

Just change the title slightly and we'll make it a bigger chat about where Bath are going under Hooper.

I know Tighthead is somewhat shy and retiring but I am sure that would tempt him to add a few words.

Add something about the England team visibly opposing racism and I’m sure he’ll have plenty to say
