Of the 16 up for selection ahead of Friday night’s London Derby, only Rikki Clarke steps out of the group travelling to Hove.

If Clarke had any sort of injury, I would expect it to be flagged, particularly as the club site gives the usual spiel about why Plunkett, your lad Reifer etc are missing. My guess is that Clarke's not a happy bunny!

Yeah, agree with you about probably the same eleven. As well as Clark [no e], we could do with Evans turning up!

Sussex have a strong eleven. We'll do well to get anything out of this one, me thinks.

175, Overton has given us a chance after we lost our way a bit, god knows what Burns was doing leaving the ball in the 18th over! Need the slows to bowl well, like Beer did, and the 3 medium pacers to keep it to under 10 an over!

not enough runs for me, you know my thoughts about Burns

5 shy of Goochie's 180. Half century from Smith and more valuable biffing from Overton towards the close putting us in a useful position. Burns as usual halting the momentum with 3 off 5 - at least he wasn't there long.

Tidy 4 overs of leg spin and a wicket from Beer backing up Goochie's recipe for our slowies.

After pope at 4 we really don't know what to do, we are basically waiting for Overton to come in.

Good figures for Tymal Mills - 3/21 off 4. Morgan hinted the door wasn’t shut for him re WT20 selection, so good to see him bowling well and most importantly for him, remaining fit.

Yep, Mills bowled well today although your boy Jacks took 26 off his one over the other week.

Bad light and drizzle stop play ater 4.5 overs. Just 1 more ball needing to be bowled for a DLS result. Wright and the Sussex supporters understandably livid! Especially as play had been halted for a possible concussion injury after 4.4 overs and resumed.

The umpires possibly helping Surrey but certainly not Sussex or the game.

We got a point, as Guildford says you'd be livid if a Sussex supporter needing just 1 more ball for a win!
