A truly world class rearguard action from Amla.

A model of concentration and restraint which earned Amla the life he got late on. A dreadful drop at leg step by Holland off the unfortunate and impressive Barker. Holland had been positioned there for exactly that sort of chance and should have been anticipating it.

Today in isolation was brilliant for Surrey. However, we were feeble on days 2 and 3 and have not achieved the result we wanted from the start of the match. I believe it's now mathematically impossible for us to get in the top group of 6 for the final round of CC matches and that is very poor.
