Bad call on Lawes. He was moving away, and they tried keeping him in. Poor ref.

Narrow win for South Africa, then. They got hugely beneficial decisions in this one and the previous test, ultimately that was the difference in a very tight series.

Ref wins it for SA in the end with a series of poor calls but the Lions should have put it to bed in the 1st half ...

Well done Boks, it was not easy on the eye this series, but overall hard to say you did not deserve it.
For the Lions, what might have been.
It has been a strange series and in all honesty, i am glad that it is over.

Not so sure about that Old Man, we never really worked out how we wanted to play unfortunately.
SA stayed in the game and scored a great try, hard to argue against that. If Pollard had kicked his goals, then it would not have been close.

Congrats Boks fans! Deserved winners. Physical, solid in defence and a sprinkle of talent in Kolbe to get a try and keep the Lions honest.
Lions played well and had the chances to win that. Just couldn't quite get there unfortunately but a really big effort and some incredible performances from players.

Well done South Africa. Good game to watch. Shame for the Lions but they did themselves proud. Finn Russell in that first half was unplayable for a while. Long live the Lions.

Tough sell for the lions highlights dvd this time. The background stuff might be alright though.

Well that was the best of the three games. A draw would have probably been fairest but that's the way it goes. Lions left to rue missed chances and the kicks for the corner when points were on offer.
One things for certain, had Finn Russell been available and match fit for all three tests the Lions would have won that series.

Lions had the better of the line outs, hassled our ruck ball throughout, we made a lot of errors behind the ruck and scrum, taking too long to clear the ball.
Lions maul was very dangerous. Boks had one good maul and then messed the clearance up.
Kolbe magic was the only way we were going to score a try.
When Russell came on the Lions found space and put the Bok defence in trouble.
We were very lucky to win this match.

True, if Williams plays that pass it probably ends up as a comfortable Lions win. He'll be regretting that.

We weren’t good tonight, if you think we were then you are in a bubble.
Wiese was illdisciplined, didn’t make any meters.
Both Reinach and Jantjies were poor behind the scrum and ruck, taking forever to clean the ball and got turned over three times.
our maul worked once.
Our scrum conceded two penalties and a couple of free kicks.
We achieved nothing in attack.

Come off it! If, IF, a pass went out we’d win comfortably?! That’s a bit disrespectful towards SA for a start. Would they really have just capitulated just because of a pass and a try? Doubt it.

First half lions left 14 easy and 21 potential points through greedy and stupid play
I think if we had taken those SA would have struggled to come back
We didn’t and they turned the screw and won fair and square
They rode the pressure and took the win. Well done them

He wouldn’t and I blame this series loss on his tactics
Even this game. The only reason Finn came on was injury
Gatland could have had 50 tests and still would not work out a strategy to unlock a defence

Fair play to South Africa. Etzebeth was the man of the series from their point of view in my opinion. Best second row in the world at the moment.
Henshaw had a great series for the Lions. Probably our man of the series. Still feel he was unlucky to have that try chalked off in the second test.
