SURREY VS DERBYSHIRE ROYAL LONDON CUP
SURREY HAVE NAMED A FOURTEEN MAN SQUAD FOR TOMORROW’S CRUCIAL FINAL MATCH IN THE ROYAL LONDON ONE DAY CUP GROUP STAGE, AWAY AT THE COUNTY GROUND IN DERBY.
The only addition to the squad following Tuesday’s spectacular victory over Warwickshire is the return of Nick Kimber, who missed out earlier in the week due to knee troubles.
Batsman Hashim Amla continues to be unavailable due to groin issues, whilst Ben Foakes continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
A surrey win would virtually guarantee a home quarter final tie don't think there is much chance of going straight to the semi final with Glamorgan's net run rate being so good
FULL SQUAD:
Jamie Smith (captain)
Rikki Clarke
Tim David
Matthew Dunn
Ben Geddes
Nick Kimber
Conor McKerr
Dan Moriarty
Ryan Patel
Nico Reifer
Cameron Steel
Mark Stoneman
James Taylor
Amar Virdi
Don't expect any changes barring injuries to the team that started against Warwickshire.
Over to you chaps

Re: SURREY VS DERBYSHIRE ROYAL LONDON CUP
Thanks, JimBob. With you on all that.
Leading the attack for Derbys will be our old pal Ravi Rampaul. Hope the players are taking their own sarnies!

Ollie pope available for today's game
England's loss is our gain, probably means bad news for Reifer

Surprised Reifer gets the nod over Geddes.
Don't think we'll be too disappointed to be bowling first (please make that not a jinx).

Re: SURREY VS DERBYSHIRE ROYAL LONDON CUP
Derbyshire 215 all out, should be able to chase that down but still annoying that the Last 2 wkts scored 41.
A wicket as well for David meaning leaving Geddes out even more daft.

Couldn't follow this pm but a very convincing win. Cracking scores once more from Patel and David.
JimBob - is it definitely Gloucs? I had a feeling one of their results was up in the air due to covid - sorry if that's rubbish! Also, do you know when and where we play? Guessing the Oval but wonder if The Hundred causes problems.

Re: SURREY VS DERBYSHIRE ROYAL LONDON CUP
apparently Gloucestershire have a better net run rate so go through instead , even though Lancashire have a point moreguildfordbat wrote:jimbobgooner wrote:Gloucestershire it is then
