Sinckler folds in under pressure then it wheels leading to Nche on the outside. If the TH folds in like that it's not really possible for the LH to stay straight.Soul Requiem wrote:Looked like Nche going round the outside to me.

England are increasingly getting beaten up in the forwards.

Game in the forwards is slipping away, we're going to lose this if we don't front up.

The other way round in my opinion.

Happy for Quirke to be getting a full 30 minutes. I've often felt England use their subs too late recently.

Why do SA hate playing with ball in hand so much, really boring rugby from them.

Good use of the bench by Eddie. We needed some fresh impetus. Think Sinckler needs to come off though he's looking tired and is losing the physical battles.

If he wasn't doing Movember Freddie Steward would be perfect today.

There's no excuse for losing it on your on ball, get it in and out.
We've not a sniff the 2nd half, very reminiscent of the WC final.

The work done in the first half looks like it's taken more out of us than South Africa. Think we need a bit more bench impact and more fresh legs. Stuart and Dombrandt be preference though Dombrandt isn't the biggest defender.

Mistake by the ref thinking he wasn't first defender there.

Re: England Autumn Internationals - MARK II
Ruck was formed. He was the second defender there. The first defender goes for the ball, doesn't get due to the arriving SA player. One from each side so the ruck was formed, then Underhill gets over the ball. He was on his feet but as ref judged the ruck formed he can't use his hands. The ref called no and gave him a chance to release the ball as well.GeordieFalcon wrote:Whst was wrong with Underhill there?

We are getting absolutely hammered in the forwards now. Since Kitshoff, Marx and Koch came on it's just become more and more stark. Just can't win a collision.

Re: England Autumn Internationals - MARK II
They're missing Malherbe, P-S du Toit and Snyman from this pack as well. When their game plan starts working it's brutal and so hard to turn around the momentum.Sgt_Pooly wrote:It's really boring to watch but it's bloody effective.

All this talk about not having a weak pack etc from Eddie is looking quite silly, we're getting absolutely pummeled.

Brilliant from Malins and Quirke. No idea how we are getting out of that still in the lead!
Dolly on. Not going to lie, I'm concerned.
Good to see Frans Steyn still being Frans Steyn as well

Re: England Autumn Internationals - MARK II
Brilliant from Malins, he's been great.
Dombrandt gives the penalty because he's lazy. Flops on the bobbling ball and just lies there. He's got to to try and fight his way to his feet there. He's got to learn that you can't get away with that sort of thing at international level.

Yep. He's going to ground so definite mitigation. Contact is from the arm not shoulder.king_carlos wrote:I have a bad feeling that Ewels has just hit Etzebeth high as he goes to ground.
No card is the right call for me there. Whether it's consistent is another question as those have definitely been given recently. In my mind that is how they should be reffed though when there is a low danger level and clear mitigation.
Kolisi is fair to be asking how many pens though. England's discipline in the first half was poor, in the second half it's been diabolical.

Didn't even penalise it, right call.
Blimey, England score a try from nowhere. That wasn't on the cards!
