Ben
From what I know it got pretty good reviews.
Although hopefully Cobra haven't pulled another F9 vs F9s trick.
They have released a version of the F9 with downgraded materials without really making this clear to the consumer.

Good luck. Played Cobra for years ... switched to the Epic driver. Thinking about going back.

Good man Ben. I desperately need a new driver I'm still playing a Ping G5!
Did you get the driver fitted to the specificities of your swing?

Inco it wouldn't cost you a lot to find an upgrade from a g5.

Re: I brought a driver
I bought a Cobra F-Max Airspeed driver with a senior shaft after a fitting just before the first lockdown and obviously didn’t use it much in the first year but I still like it. Also have the matching 3-wood, plus in ladies shafts the 5-hybrid and the T-rail hybrid irons (6 to SW). Have to say I’m a Cobra fan!

Re: I brought a driver
I went to my local golf shop yesterday to scope out drivers. I asked if they did any sort of analysis or fitting, the guy said you only need to get fitted for irons, not woods (mega facepalm). I said I'd mainly like to ensure the right shaft for my swing. Long story short: I'm not willing to pay €550 or so for a new driver, I'll go to a better store that can hopefully give me a used one for around €200 and can measure what type of shaft/lie-angles/whatever would best suit me.

Re: I brought a driver
The cost of some drivers are just ridiculous…I just happened to ask my pro what it’d cost me to upgrade my titleist to the most recent model and was shocked to find out it’s the best part of £500!! That’s for a standard spec shaft too plus we get a discounted members rate of something like trade +10/15% in our shop due to paying a small levy each year
I don’t quite get why you wouldn’t need to be fitted for a driver and just irons Inco…even though I’m not entirely convinced there’s all that much benefit for the majority of amateurs (given our inability to consistently swing it the same!) it still doesn’t make sense to me why he’d tell you that

He was spoofing TM2K. I share your scepticism about the benefits of custom fitting for the average amateur, but still I think I'd rather be safe than sorry!TM2K wrote:
