Re: Furious League
I finished 6th not bad considering the state the team was in before I took over, I thought I was going to finish 8th. I'll be aiming for 5th next season but the top 5 teams are much stronger then me and there is not much between the bottom 5.
We will be getting cash injections via the sponsorship, that is if Nick can get his finger out.

Re: Furious League
Harsh!!!!!!
It was 2, but I think at the Everton one, he would have won anyway, at that stage in the season. The other was against Villa, who several teams have got default wins from.

Where did this loan of Gervinho from Liverpool to Everton come from?
I can't see any enquiry or negotiation, and Smarts hasn't put him on his team page.

Think in relation to transfers they should not be discussed privately

Re: Furious League
Why? Sometimes teams disclose deals, sometimes they keep their dealings secret and don't even disclose the transfer fee lol. I saw Mousey on here did deals with Aston Villa on MSN!

I agree with Andy. I think all negotiations should be transparent on on the team pages.

Re: Furious League
Well nobody said that when Aston Villa did deals on MSN with Fulham and when Aston Villa did deals with Liverpool!
But when SG does it there is uproar because he is the king of dodgyness!

Re: Furious League
When did Villa, Fulham and Liverpool do these deals.
In fairness, I'm not sure there is anything wrong with it really. I think PineappleHead was a bit daft for not going public, because there would be a lot of interest, and he could have got a much better deal

Re: Furious League
Mousey did a deal with Argyle on MSN. Argyle and JET did deals on MSN top players were involved. Maybe he should have gone public but that is not my problem!

Humm, in regards to season 3 cash for finishing position, I dont see why the team near the bottom should be rewarded with more cash.

Re: Furious League
It's not reward Nick, it's about keeping the league competitive. The top teams are already quite a bit ahead of the rest. Presumably, they will also get slightly better sponsors?
If those team also get more money from league position, then the gap is just going to get wider and managers from the lower teams will just lose interest.
it was only an idea.

Re: Furious League
I think we should just be given money from our Sponsorship per season, no extra money for getting relagated or winning the league. Too much money in the league and it loses it's value.
I have always said I believe in consistency, if Argyle, Mighty and JET did do deals on MSN or private then Smarts should be allowed to (Proof needed)
It's not fair if one person gets to do something and another is now allowed, that is what me and Azzy have been fighting for all these years. Consistency in the league.

Re: Furious League
Well If you look back on 606 then check out the deal involving Hazard and Forlan going to Villa with Torres or Suarez and somebody else going in the other direction. I asked JET where he did that deal and he said over MSN!

I agree with Viva just sponsorship. Don't need prize money to, sponsors were great last year.

Re: Furious League
Well, as I'm the only regular MSN user here, it doesn't matter,
Argyle and Jet are no longer in the league, and if it's against the rules I will stop dealing with managers on MSN.

Mate, nobody said it was agains the rules. Nobody mentioned it back then so can't start bringing it up now!
Did you add your cup runner up money? £6M ain't bad P.s not selling Kjaer for cash but would use him in a part ex where I improve my first team in another position.

Re: Furious League
Happy to go with the majority on prize money.
With regard to negotiating on MSN or private message, I was against it at first, but on reflection, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. its what happens IRL and if the selling manager has any sense, he would make it public to try and get a better deal.

Re: Furious League
I agree with Viva just sponsorship. Don't need prize money to, sponsors were great last year. - Isnt that a bit controdicting Smarts?? You say just sponsor money, then you say last years sponsors were great. Well last years I did with the initial sum, bonus per match and the an end of season sum based on target.
What I was going to do this year was give a huge win bonus of like £5m ish to the lesser teams, so one win for them can see them get nearly £5m. They have an oppertunity to make a BOMB. 4 wins = £20m

Re: Furious League
No it's not contradicting. Your suggesting sponsors + prize money? I'm suggesting just keep it the same as last years, similar sponsorship format etc.

Biormingham City would today like to annouce the signing of Leonardo Bonucci, the Italian International has come in a deal worth around £15m to St Andrews which see Serdar Tasci move the other way. In already a solid defence theis only makes us stronger. He is a major signing for Birmingham, and is one of 3 Fan is attempting to bring to the club..
My back 4
Lichtsteiner - Bonucci - Agger - Monreal
Very happy

Re: Furious League
Bonucchi well done Fan, that is a sick signing. (Sick in slang means good)
I guess I'm stuck with third rate English players while Fan can explore Europe and pluck the finest, ripest players on show.
Nick can I have a £10m cash boost for helping keep this league together, without me this league would have died, true story. I think my loyalty deserves rewards.
