You need to overlook the other English clubs a bit or no transfers would happen, as we are essentially like the Championship on your basis.

Only championship level or below will join the championship*, and managers aren't going to sell their Premier League players knowing that they will only be able to replace with Championship players.

You need to have a bit of flexibility for managers to be able to improve their teams, otherwise they will get bored and leave.

They are, but we are talking about their standing in this league based on their Furious League performance. We almost have to ignore real life performance since the start of the Furious League!!

I would Viva, but I am looking for sensible offers, not the bargain prices you are after!!

I have for sale:
Titus Bramble
Marcos Angeleri
Cristian Riveros
Ross Barkley
Fraizer Campbell

I will also consider good offers for:
Simon Mignolet
Craig Gordon - would need to be a very good offer
Angelo Ogbonna
Cheikh M'bengue
Tim Cahill - would need to be a very good offer
Mikel Arteta - would need to be a very good offer
Marco Parolo
Steven Pienaar
Javier Saviola
Adrian
Emmanuel Riviere

No player in that list is worth more then £5m and obviously mans like to make a lttle bit extra but you would be lucky yo get £6m but for some reason you think theyare silly offers. Oh well!!

I think your idea of market value, and what you think the prices should be in a sensible world, are somewhat clouded.

If any Premier League club could get Gordon, Cahill or Arteta for £5m, they would be biting Sunderland/Everton's hands off.

Afro I don't want to seem nasty but I will have to point some facts about Arteta.

Couldn't cut it at Barca, he struggled in Spain where players like him are 10 a penny so they let him go. He was given a chance at Socidad???? but again he was not good enough. So he made a switch to unfashionable Everton who lack creativity and when they see a player who can kick the ball straight they creamed thier pants. Yes he did pass the ball nicely and he did make some goals but that was it, he is happy at a lowly club where the expectations are low and you don't expect much off him or the club. He is not a brave man who looked to furthur his career by joining a big club to win things, big fish small pond comes into mind. He can not hack it at a big club and there is a reason why the United, Arsenals didn't bother with him, Like I said before someone with flash joins your club and you overrate him he would become another Anderson at Man Utd. You may hate it but sorry it's true. He is a poor mans Danny Murphy.

LOL. You paid £12m for fernandez, yet a proven premier league player is only worth £5m.

Arteta is a proven premier league player who is rated quite highly in this league. To quote you earlier, "your stubbornness is holding you back".

So going by your theory, Arteta > Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Eto'o, Pirlo, Batistuta, Maradona, Pele because none of them played in England.

You don't need to be a rated player because you haven't played in England, what is so special about England anyway? All the Football comes from the Foreign players, unless you on about leg breaking, long ball fools.

I guess any player who is new to a league should cost £10 because they are not yet proven, that is what risk is about. Yeah Arteta only looks good to teams that are not used to seeing players that can play defence splitting balls. I think Arteta is a decent player but not worth more then £5m.

your stubbornness is holding you back".

Cattermole/Evans for me are the weakest. With Phil Jones being signed and Smalling out performing him last year I don't see much of a future for him at Man Utd.

Think Evans is a bit under-rated on here, not sure. Evans is a good squad player because he can also play LB.

Sessengnon and Rakitic is what I'm unsure about. Gibson for me will shine next year with regular football.

Gibson is far from Man Utd quality and I don't think for one second he will get regular football mate. All he can do is smack a ball at 100mph. He can't aim or anything.

I mean when he moves to Sunderland.

And I think he's excellent, and he will be as big as Iniesta... okay maybe a slight exaggeration.

But I can see him shining in a partnership with Cattermole next season.

Morning folks.

Current starting XI

----------------Gordon
Fanni----Godin---Cahill/Lugano---Taiwo
----------Parker---------Fellaini
Turan-------------Arteta-----------Canales
------------------Adebayor

I have T. Cahill who I also consider for the Arteta position. Who do you rate higher in that position?

Also considering, 4-4-2 with a striker instead of Arteta, or a new RW with Turan left, Canales central.

Cahill > Arteta there, but Arteta > cahill in CM if you get me? lol

Canales imo has not proved himself and barely gets a game so maybe improve there

so yes I would go

Arteta - Cahill - Turan

Any where I can still improve?

I am counting a bit on Canales coming to England on loan, as has been suggested. Then his rating should increase.

Your team looks very solid with Rolfes and Vidal in the middle. I am not a fan of Agger, so would improve there and perhaps the next improvement is a left back who can rampage down the left to balance with Lichtsteiner on the right. I see Lichtsteiner is joining Juve.

Mornings lads.

Yea we signed Sessegnon permanent last season. He's can play wide but not too great and is much better through the middle from what ive heard. Good team as well Almighty, Jansen is very attacking but with O'Shea RB you balance that out as with Jansen down the left Rodallega can cut in Ok!

Fan would you take 7m for Adam?

yup and will be beside Bonucci randy

Do we get boardrooms as I am now el skinto so Agger will have to stay just now, I have Zanka who I rate very highly but dont know if anyone else will?

Agger is solid if nothing else

Monreal is a good player and it sort of balances out with Licht attacking FB Monreal a defensive one, so dont get exposed at the back

Happy with my front two tho..dont think I need to improve them

If Canales

Also have:
Onouha (RB/CB)
Distin (CB/LB)
Vrsjalko (RB/LB) - Rumoured to be linked with Arsenal
Corchia (RB) - Was/Is a target for Bayern Munich

Westermann/Fazio can also play DM

Cabaye (CM/AM)
Zenden (LM/CM) - Showed at Sunderland last season he can still hack it in the premier league as was best player for us towards end of season.
Malbranque (LM/RM) - Despite lack of speed has improved on stamina and has unbelievable tekkars, one of the best close ball controllers in the world.
Payet (RM)

C.Cole (ST)
Kuyt also to play as a ST

I think its an improvement on last season anyway and there is alot of depth their IMO. And Fellaini to come in next season (maybe this but could be a push raising funds)

Looking good guys, I think next season will be much harder. Nearly everyone has improved thier team. I'm liking your team Andy OK

Fan as always your team is rock solid, Bon Jovi are a class band have a good time.

MightyGirl I think Cattermole is good, I wouldn't play him in a 4-4-2 but 4-2-3-1 or something alone those lines where his job is just to grind, tackle, get in the faces and play simple passes to team mates. A bit like how Alonso and Mashcreano worked.

With that current formation/team I prefer Cahill in the AM position, he will get you goals, you can even play him as a striker.

Where do you think I can improve my team?

I would focus in improving Makoun and Bily, then Barton. Perhaps a new RB although Neville will do a job for you still.
