Cheers Jimbob, what is Curran 'recharging' for? The 16.4? Absolutely pathetic. I think Atkinson will come in for Lawes with his extra bit of pace, with Patel and Steel also missing out.

Curran not playing is very annoying, he's not got a red-ball central contract so we are still paying him to sit on the bench.

Surprised how long Atkinson has been out of the CC side, he did a good job when he was playing earlier in the season.

Checked to see whether I was misremembering but I wasn't—Atkinson does have our best average so far, though all the regular bowlers are under 30avg

Hi chaps - I'm back but is it for a win or a rained off draw? Judging by JimBob's mood throughout the first 3 days, I hope to God it's a win!

Assuming we get some play and that 10th wicket before the rain comes down, I would push Jacks up to open with Burns. I wouldn't go totally Bazball with the order though as we don't want to be 30/5 and not knowing whether to stick or bust! Maybe Overton or another biffer at 3 or 4 would be safe enough and get us home.
