6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*The show goes live on air from inside the 6CWF Boardroom where Brandi Johnson welcomes us to the show and introduces us to the “Wheel of fate”. She explains that this wheel can literally decide anything here tonight so we should expect the unexpected.
*We head out to the ring and Marty Helms is coming out here in a fired up mood. The 6WF Champion wants a mic and he’s calling out Dicey Reilly so that he can finish the job he started three years ago. He doesn’t want to wait around for the main event, he’s ready to go right here and right now.
Dicey doesn’t disappoint and there is a deafening reaction for the hall of famer as he makes his entrance. Dicey is more than ready to throw down with Marty Helms right now but he didn’t just come back here for a small measure of retribution, he came back to take everything away from Helms and that includes the world title that he holds so dearly. Helms laughs off Dicey’s threat and doesn’t believe the Irishman would ever get close to dethroning him.
This brings out Scott Harris, sparking more cheers from the audience. Harris shows respect to Dicey and he understands they have history but Harris says he and Helms ain’t done. The whole world knows Harris had the win last week and should be world champion and now he wants his rematch. Helms is laughing again and says Harris had his chance and he blew it, just like his big boyfriend Tyler Roth. He says the “Road to Royalty” guaranteed Harris one shot and he wasted it...now he’s at the back of the line. Helms says there isn’t anyone worthy of facing him for his title….nobody on his level…
Flames erupt and here comes Cerberus with his bride, Cara. Cerberus has returned to put Helms in the ground for good and anyone who tries to get there before him will pay the most severe of prices….just ask Tyler Roth. Cerberus’ feud with Helms goes beyond anything else and he isn’t willing to wait in line….he urges Dicey and Harris to rethink their quest for revenge because that puts them directly in his path of terror and that doesn’t end well for anyone. Dicey and Harris aren’t going anywhere. Cerberus says it’s on them what happens from here but promises that he will dig a grave big enough for all of them to join Marty Helms in eternal damnation.
Helms tells all of his challengers that they can line up one by one, form an orderly queue, and he will show them why he is the most dominant star in pro wrestling today. He’s already put all of them in their place once and he will do so again...only this time not one of them will have the capacity to return.
The commentators hype the growing tensions between Helms and the hunting pack, they debate on who may be next to step up and challenge for the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship.
*Brandi Johnson is standing by for an interview with Clarissa. Clarissa wants to ask something that is on everyone’s mind and that is how Robin Reborn and Anthony Grace have somehow been named #1 Contenders to the 6CW Championship. Brandi lets out a deep breath and it is clear she is far from happy with what is happening.
She tells Clarissa that, unfortunately, certain precautions were taken when 6CWF began. Precautions that prevented any “one individual” from seizing ultimate power and running the show like an egomaniac, something we have seen so much of in the past. Those precautions were set to protect 6CWF but they are now being weaponised against the company. Brandi admits that Amazon Prime and VIP Promotions were given a “certain amount of sway” when it comes to creative decisions and they have decided to exercise that sway collectively. Brandi continues that Amazon are always thinking “ratings” and that the decision was made...due to Anthony Grace and Robin Reborn’s standing in the “entertainment world” to propel them into a headline spot on 6CWF programming, despite “underlying issues”.
Clarissa probes on those issues and Brandi says for starters they have two victories between them since they returned, hardly championship numbers, but she also talks about the political backspill of having these men in potential positions of power here in 6CWF….having Anthony Grace and Robin Reborn on billboards right now is not a good look for the company….especially Grace…
Suddenly Brandi stops talking as Robin Reborn swaggers into the shot, dressed to the nines. Reborn introduces himself as the new “6CW Champion” and the man to carry this company kicking and screaming into reality. Reborn can see the Amazon Prime documentary now….6CWF Reborn – The Saviour….he grins as Brandi rolls her eyes. Reborn goes to touch Brandi on the cheek but she slaps his hand away. Reborn grins now, showing off his grillz, and tells Brandi not to worry because a real man of colour is here now to lead 6CWF. He tells Brandi he never would have run away to leave her to fend for herself like JJ did...but he always knew Johnson was a fraud and a fake...Reborn tells Brandi that if she ever needs some real loving, give him a call on the down low…
Anthony Grace is lounging against the wall opposite as the camera pans around. Grace says it is a real shame that JJ Johnson had sided with the corrupt media puppets in a public assassination attempt but thankfully the “powers that be” have seen the light and that light is Anthony Grace’s name on every headline show that 6CWF can produce. Grace points to Reborn and calls them “brothers in arms” and they should “stand united against prejudice”. They are both victims of “JJ Johnson’s tyranny” but this story will have a happy ending. Grace promises they will make a movie about this one day and how he rose against all the odds and persecution to leave Beachfront Brawl as world champion. Reborn scoffs at this but says he and Grace are just two of many who are beginning to speak out against JJ Johnson. Reborn claims “I am He” and pats his own heart whilst Grace pulls a sympathetic face.
Brandi rolls her eyes and tells Clarissa that “this is the (beep) I’m talking about”…..she goes to leave but Grace blocks her path now and there is a different look in his eyes. He looks her up and down and says “Maybe you can start with the reparation payments now”. Reborn is grinning from behind but Brandi grabs Grace between the legs and turns him around before shoving him backward against Reborn. She scowls at them both and backs away as Clarissa smiles.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Gazzy is preparing for the opening contest. Christy asks if they can talk after the match, just something she wants to run by him. Gazzy agrees and kisses his wife on the head. A knock comes at the door and Christy looks nervous but it is Uryu. There is still some tension but Gazzy nods at his tag team partner and says “Let’s do this” before walking out. Ishida smiles at Christy before following.
Bout 1
Uryu Ishida/GazzyD vs Anthony Grace/Robin Reborn
*We are out at ringside for our opening contest of the evening and the crowd are hyped. Anthony Grace is the first out and the commentators are reminding us of last week’s revelation that Grace and Robin Reborn have been named as Uryu Ishida’s challengers for the 6CW Championship at “Beachfront Brawl. RJ still can’t believe it and is blaming “corporate bull(beep)” because of Grace and Reborn’s contacts.
*Grace seems more switched on tonight but is oozing his usual smarm as he saunters around the ring. He harasses several young women at ringside before climbing up into the ring. Robin Reborn is out now and the boos continue. Reborn mocks the fans and boos them back before motioning a belt around his waist. JT pays respect to Reborn’s talents but is appalled that he has had only one match in 6CWF and yet finds himself within touching distance of being world champion once more. Reborn climbs into the ring and he gives a quick glance at Anthony Grace before heading for an opposite turnbuckle. The commentators don’t believe there is any real friendship between Grace and Reborn but they are somewhat cut from the same cloth.
*The crowd go wild as GazzyD leaps through the trapdoor on the stage. We are reminded of the issues Gazzy has been having with Edward Plague but JT salutes the fact that Gazzy is refusing to bow down to the mindgames. RJ wonders, however, how much losing the “Key to the Kingdom” last week will be playing on Gazzy’s mind. Gazzy tags hands with the fans before climbing into the ring, facing Grace and Reborn.
*JT and RJ are discussing the Gazzy/Christy.Uryu dynamic and if that will play a part here tonight before the 6CW Champion arrives to a standing ovation. Pyros shoot into the air as Uryu walks out on the stage. RJ reminds is that Uryu is coming in off the back of three straight successful title defences and riding the wave of momentum. Ishida climbs into the ring and there is a brief staredown with Gazzy before they shake hands and face their opponents.
*Anthony Grace is grinning at them and he says “Who is having a go on Christy tonight? Or can I have a shot?” Gazzy and Uryu look at one another and then land a double superkick which sends Grace through the ropes to the outside. The big screen then comes on and Brandi Johnson is ready with the “Wheel of Fate”. She spins it and we find out that this will be an “Elimination” match, sparking cheers from the crowd.
*Uryu and Gazzy stare at one another and Gazzy takes up the reigns for the team as Reborn gets up in his face. They trade words and then Reborn shoves him in the chest. He mocks Gazzy and says “’magine watching the back o’ someone slipping yo wife the length, you a cuck”…..Gazzy responds with a huge forearm smash to the face and then he grabs Reborn’s arm and whips him off the ropes. Gazzy backdrops Reborn on the comeback but Reborn lands on his feet and he shushes the audience and bows with a smirk. He turns around and Gazzy dropkicks him to the floor. Gazzy drags Reborn up and nails a faceplant suplex. He drags him closer to the corner and prepares for “starship pain” but Grace is back on the apron and lands a right hand as Gazzy leaps up.
*Reborn is back on his feet now and he runs the ropes and returns with a brutal low dropkick to the face. He backflips into a footstomp across Gazzy’s midsection before dragging him and slings him into the corner. He lands vicious chops to the chest, reddening the skin, Reborn lifts Gazzy up on the top rope and climbs up. He looks for a top rope hurricanrana but Gazzy lands out on his feet, drawing huge cheers from the crowd. Gazzy beckons Reborn back up and kicks him in the gut. He looks for “Deep Impact” but Reborn swipes his legs and catapults him to the corner, where Anthony Grace lands another brutal shot to the face. Reborn is back up and nails a backstabber for a two count.
*Reborn tags in Grace now. Grace lifts Gazzy into an atomic drop and follows up with a back suplex. He looks to the corner and contemplates his next move before shaking his head. He points to Uryu and tells him “This is what is coming for you”. He ushers Gazzy up and looks for the “Blockbuster” tornado kick but Gazzy ducks it and nails the “skull crushing finale” as the crowd cheer. Gazzy heads for the corner and is about to tag in Uryu when Reborn shows astonishing athleticism to springboard all the way across the ring and he dropkicks Gazzy in the back, sending him into a head on collision with the world champion and knocks him off the apron.
*Reborn wipes Gazzy off his feet with a spinning heel kick and heads back to the corner, shrugging off the boos of the audience. Grace is on his feet now and he runs Gazzy into a bulldog for a two count. Reborn drops down off the apron and he runs around ringside and up the steel steps before leaping through the air with a double knee strike to the chest of Uryu, sending him flying over the announce tables in a heap. He talks trash to Ishida as the crowd boo him.
*In the ring, Anthony Grace suplexes Gazzy into the air and dumps him across the middle of the ropes. He tags Reborn back in. Reborn climbs up the turnbuckle and leaps off with a double stomp to the back of Gazzy, sending him crashing back into the ring. Reborn climbs out onto the apron and he catapults back in with a brutal forearm smash to the back of Gazzy’s neck whilst he is sat on the canvass. Gazzy just kicks out in time.
*Reborn slaps Gazzy around now and he drags him up for a “Wing clipper” but Gazzy spins out and then lands an enzeguiri. Reborn staggers and Gazzy springs off the turnbuckle and flies back with a dropkick takedown. He rushes over and dropkicks Grace’s knees, knocking him off the apron as the crowd cheer. Reborn gets up and Gazzy pulls him into a “history maker” (reverse twist of fate) for a two count. Gazzy signals for the “Deep Impact” as Grace tries to get back in the ring and distracts the ref. Reborn drops to his knees and nails a low blow on Gazzy and then the “Wing Clipper”. He heads for the corner and leaps off for the “shooting star press” as Uryu springboards from the opposite side and lands a majestic “Phenomenal” forearm smash in midair which has every single fan going wild. The replays are shown over and over as the crowd chant “That was awe-some”.
*The referee backs Uryu to the ropes now as Gazzy crawls over to tag him in. Reborn is dazed but makes the tag to Grace as well. Uryu ducks Grace’s attack and runs the ropes before flying back with a huge dropsault. Uryu runs to the ropes and moonsaults back into a takedown on Grace for a two count. Uryu climbs out on the apron and catapults him in with an “x factor” facebuster for another two count.
*Ishida lands flush calf kicks on Grace, cutting him down to size, and then he runs the ropes and returns with a shining wizard. He pulls Grace away from the ropes and then heads for the corner. He climbs up high for the “Split Second” but Grace rolls from the ring for safety. Uryu shakes his head and wows the crowd as he leaps to the outside with a crossbody takedown. He drags Grace back up and and throws him into the ring. He leaps onto the apron and then lands another flying forearm smash. A three count looks likely when Reborn flies from on high with a shooting star press to break it up. The crowd are booing as Reborn is pushed back to the corner by the referee now.
*Grace and Uryu are both crawling for their tags now when the lights in the arena start to flicker. Edward Plague’s voice begins to sound through the air “Gareth…your destiny awaits...Gareth it is time for you to follow me…..no more waiting…..because only when you enter the darkness….(the lights go off in the arena)…..can you find the true path to enlightenment”…..the big screen now shows that someone is in the locker-room with Christy James. She is unaware of the presence as she is talking to herself “You can tell him, Christy...you have to tell him”…..Plague’s laughter can be heard as he whispers “What could the big secret be, Gareth? Why don’t you come back here and find out….before I do”. Plague’s laughter fills the air and then ebbs away as the big screen switches off and the lights come back on.
*Uryu is just reaching out for the tag when Gazzy shakes his head and drops off the apron before sprinting away across the walkway to the backstage area as the commentators fear for the safety of Christy James. In the ring, Reborn takes the tag from Anthony Grace and he lands flush double knees to the back of Uryu, who has just used the ropes to pull himself back up.
*Reborn kneels over Uryu now and holds his face “Man done run out on you….finally realised you been all up in his wife…..now only thing you got left is that title, and soon I’ll be taking that too”. Reborn heads to the corner and he climbs up. He signals for one more “shooting star” but he finds nothing but canvass as Ishida rolls aside. Uryu gets back up and he nails a running “Spanish Fly” but Reborn kicks out. He beckons Reborn up and lands a superkick to the back of the head before heading for the corner. He sets for the “Split Second” but Grace grabs his foot. Uryu kicks him away and off the apron.
*Reborn shows his own amazing agility to run over and jumps through the air, detonating a huge knee strike to the jaw of Uryu, leaving him slumped. Reborn climbs up now and he taunts the fans before he nails a huge “God’s last gift” suplex from the top, splattering the world champion into the mat. Reborn is on his knees with a grin before Anthony Grace reaches over and slaps his back.
*Reborn cannot quite believe it and has no time to react as Grace runs over and nails the “Thunderstruck” (famea55er) on Ishida and hooks both legs as the referee counts the three and this one is over, Grace picking up the huge W over the 6CW World Champion. The commentators are in shock as Uryu has taken his first pinfall defeat since 6CWF began and it has come at the hands of one of the men chasing his world title. RJ reminds us that Uryu was facing a 2 on 1 situation as GazzyD left to check on Christy.
*Anthony Grace is laughing at the reaction from the crowd and he swipes his hair from his face and celebrates. Reborn gets up in his face now and is talking about Grace making the tag to steal the pin but Grace merely grins and turns away. Reborn is far from pleased as he decides to drag Uryu back up and nails another “Wing Clipper” on him, just to remove some frustration. Uryu is flat on his back, staring up at the lights, as Grace rolls from the ring and grabs the 6CW Championship. He tells the belt “I’ll be seeing you soon” and kisses it before tossing it aside. He and Reborn keep eye contact before Grace climbs over the barricade into the crowd. He smarms all over an attractive young woman and then takes her by the hand and leads her away.
*Reborn remains standing over Uryu for another few moments and then mockingly dusts off his feet on the world champion and leaves. The commentators talk about how Uryu’s reign as 6CW Champion could be coming toward an end.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Gazzy bursts into the backstage area and quickly rushes to his locker-room. He kicks the door open and almost gives Christy a heart attack. She gasps but Gazzy is checking every inch of the room and bathroom. Gazzy says “he was here” but Christy assures him that nobody was in the room. She takes Gazzy’s hands in hers and calms him down. Gazzy asks what she wanted to talk about but Christy shakes her head and says “it can wait” but Gazzy stares at her, unassured. Gazzy tells Christy he is worried for her safety with Plague at large and wants her at home but she refuses and says she is staying right by his side. Gazzy compromises and asks can they leave early tonight and Christy agrees. They hug but we get a shot of Christy’s worried face and Gazzy looking questioning.
*Cody Walker is being interviewed by Jack Reynolds. Cody is thriving now he is back in Las Vegas on front of his own fans. He is looking forward to putting on a show tonight in front of his people. Cody says trying out and training with the circus here in Vegas really taught him a no fear attitude. He doesn’t fear Cassidy, he doesn’t fear James McManus…..he doesn’t fear anyone. Cody says tonight is just another step in making sure his name is remembered. There is a backstage procession of circus performers now and we see jugglers and acrobats before a group of clowns performing gags and tricks roll on by. Cody is grinning and says “Man it’s good to be home” but then one of the clowns just stops and stares at him, the coldest expression on his face. Cody looks bemused as the clown just continues to stare at him before a very eerie smile crosses its face. It backs away but continues to stare at Cody as the scene ends.
*Jerome Dubois is backstage once again and is being interviewed by Tim Allen. Dubois reveals that he is the current GWA Champion (Global Wrestling Alliance) and would never sign a contract handed to him by JJ Johnson after years of disrespect. Dubois, however, is happy to feature on 6CWF programming as a “special attraction” and promises to be in Miami next week where he is offering to defend his championship in an “open challenge”.
*The scene changes and Reborn and Grace are arguing over the “stolen pinfall”. Grace holds his hands up, mercifully, and says they both need to see the bigger picture. Either of them as world champion is a slap in the face to JJ Johnson and that is a win for both of them. Grace wants to call a truce and make sure that whatever happens, at Beachfront Brawl one of them has the 6CW Championship. Reborn agrees and cannot wait to see JJ’s face when they “ (beep) 5h1t up!”. Reborn walks away as Grace takes a massive swig from another champagne bottle, a darkness dwelling in his eyes. He reaches for his phone and dials a number before raising it to his ear...."I need another consultation".

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
Bout 2
Cody Walker vs James McManus
Cody Walker vs James McManus
*We are out at ringside for a first ever meeting between McManus and Cody Walker. The commentators are talking about how Cody is coming in off of a big W over Cassidy whereas McManus is looking to rebuild after the disappointment of coming up short for the “Key to the Kingdom” last week. McManus is the first to make his entrance and he strides purposefully to the ring and climbs through the ropes.
*The crowd cheer for their hometown superstar of Cody Walker. Cody is dressed in a flamboyant red and silver singlet with a matching headband. He hands the headband to a young fan at ringside before leaping up into the ring to join his opponent. The big screen then comes on and Diablo has the job of spinning the “Wheel of Fate” for this upcoming bout. The wheel spins and it lands on “Title shot next week” as the crowd give a cheer. The commentators wonder what opportunity will be on the line but how the stakes just got a whole lot more interesting for both parties.
*They take their time and then lockup in the centre of the ring. McManus applies a headlock but Walker bounces into the ropes and shoves him across the ring. McManus returns with a shoulder tackle takedown. He runs the ropes again but Cody rolls across the canvass and forces McManus to jump over him. McManus comes back off the ropes again but Walker is up and nails a leaping hurricanrana takedown as the crowd cheer. McManus gets back up and eats a huge dropsault that sends him through the ropes to the outside.
*McManus tries to regain his composure as Cody runs toward the ropes and he handsprings before moonsaulting over the top rope into a takedown on McManus outside the ring. He drags McManus up and throws him against the ringside barrier before backing up and climbing onto the apron. Cody then spins off with a legdrop (ala RVD) but McManus moves and sends him crashing against the barrier. McManus lifts Cody up now and drops him, knee first, across the top of the steel steps before lifting him into a back suplex position and drops him spine first across the steps now.
*McManus breaks the count and then he throws Cody back into the ring. JM goes up high and he leaps off with a crossbody takedown but Walker kicks out on two. McManus stomps down on the leg and then back of his opponent before he drags him up. He whips him off the ropes and then pops him up on the comeback and lets him splatter onto the canvass as he comes back down. Walker is on all fours as McManus runs the ropes and returns with a “knee trembler” to the temple but Walker throws his shoulder off the mat again.
*McManus wills Walker up now and he sets for the “tombstone” but Walker drops behind and runs the ropes before returning with a slingblade takedown. McManus staggers back up and Walker dropkicks him in the back, sending him into the corner, and then charges in with flying knees to the spine (ala Elijah Burke). McManus stumbles out now as Walker springs off the turnbuckle and moonsaults over his opponent into a facebuster, drawing the crowd off their feet….Cody covers but McManus shows his toughness to kick out on two.
*Cody rolls out onto the apron and he beckons McManus up before springboarding back in with a “meteora” takedown before rolling back to his feet and he nails “rolling thunder” (Dice)….McManus is clutching his ribs as he stumbles up and Cody lifts him onto his shoulders before spinning him off into a pele kick (Dolphin Blow) for a nearfall.
*Cody runs the ropes and returns with a low dropkick to the face and then points to the corner. He goes up high and looks for the “Highwind” (Coffin Drop) but McManus moves at the final second and sends Walker into a heap. McManus gets back up and he beckons Walker up before nailing him with a death valley driver. McManus thinks he has a three but Cody is able to reach the bottom rope with his foot.
*McManus looks annoyed and then attempts a figure four but is dragged into a schoolboy for a two count. They scramble back up and Walker looks for a leapfrog but McManus catches him and sits him down into a powerbomb for a two count. McManus then grabs Walker and flips him for another powerbomb but Cody lands on his feet and then leaps into brutal double knees under the chin of McManus. McManus is swaying as Cody pulls his head down and then nails a “Styles Clash” for a nearfall.
*Cody rolls to the corner and he looks for the “Masamune” (Trouble in Paradise) but McManus ducks it and then spins him inside out with a huge lariat. He underhooks Cody’s arm and flips him into a backbreaker before making another cover for a two count. McManus spits in annoyance now and he ushers Cody back up. He lifts him for the “MK Ultra” but Walker rolls down the back. Cody keeps hold of McManus’ legs and catapults him to the corner. McManus hits his head and staggers back into a poisonrana. He rolls onto his knees as Cody nails him with a sickening “V-trigger” knee for a two count.
*Cody heads for the corner again and climbs high. He sets his sights and then leaps for the “Howling Moon” (Flying fame-a55er) but McManus dodges it and sends him into an awful landing on his backside. McManus takes advantage with a half nelson suplex, dumping Cody right on the back of his neck but the youngster is able to kick out once more. McManus takes a deep breath and then he yells at Cody to get back to his feet. He lifts him for the “tombstone” again but Cody kicks his legs before he is able to drop off the back and over the top rope onto the walkway. McManus turns around and Cody nails him with a sickening step-up enzeguiri. McManus staggers away and into the referee, grabbing the official as he does so.
*The referee is distracted momentarily as Cassidy runs out from the back and he lashes a solid iron “cattle branding” iron across Cody Walker’s spine. The commentators talk about how Cassidy clearly isn’t over his issues with Cody. Walker is hurt badly and falls through the ropes as McManus releases the referee now and picks the bones. Cassidy is grinning from the walkway as McManus drags Cody back to his feet now and drills him in the centre of the ring with the “MK Ultra” for the three count.
*The crowd are booing as McManus has his arm raised in victory and the commentators talk about how he has a title shot coming his way next week. McManus leaves the ring now as Cassidy climbs inside. He stalks Cody, who is still in a bad way, and then he kneels over him and uses the branding iron to choke him until Walker is unconscious. Cassidy then rolls from the ring and he is looking for more weaponry when Alex Walker strides out onto the stage.
*Cassidy looks amused at first until Alex Walker orders him to back away and that if he does anything else to his son then he will make his life a misery. Alex Walker tells Cassidy this isn’t about protecting his son but about levelling the playing field. If Cassidy isn’t over his loss last week then next week in Miami they can settle their differences in a no DQ match. Cassidy grins and nods his head before leaving. Alex then checks on his son but Cody shoves him away and seems unhappy that his father came to his aid. Cody is clearly struggling with his emotions as he climbs from the ring and leaves Alex looking disconsolate.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Liam Wood is standing outside of the 6CWF Boardroom. Emmy takes his hand and kisses him. She tells him to go inside and face his “fate” because he can overcome anything. Wood nods and heads inside. Diablo greets him and they spin the wheel. It lands on “The End” and Wood raises an eyebrow as Diablo gives him the low down. Diablo explains that Wood’s “career” will be on the line in his match tonight. As well as that his opponent will be Drake Callihan and it will be “lumberjack” match with former EWF wrestlers as the “lumberjacks”. Wood’s nostrils flare as he digests the information. He just glares at Diablo, who looks uncomfortable, and then walks out. Emmy is waiting and she says “See, bet it wasn’t that bad” but her face drops as Wood just storms past her and walks toward ringside.
*Alex Walker enters Cody’s changing room. Cody is packing up his things as Alex wants to talk to him. Cody wants his dad to understand that he was never there for him growing up so he doesn’t want him fighting his battles now. Alex apologises and knows he has a lot of making up to do but Cody will always be his son and he cannot help but want the best for him. The father and son stare each other down and Alex places a hand on Cody’s shoulder. Cody lets out a deep breath and nods his head. A knock comes at the door again and Alex opens it. A large purple box with a green ribbon has been left. After five seconds it explodes in a plume of smoke, falling apart as it does so, and inside is a toy clown which has a recordable device strapped to it. A message reads “play me” on it. Cody looks at his dad as Alex presses it “hehehehehee…...are you ready for some fun? Well then here we go….”
The laugh begins again before the tape runs out. Alex and Cody stare at one another as the scene comes to an end.
*Brandi and Diablo are putting the final touches on next week’s show and Brandi is announcing the first ever “Live press conference” for Beachfront Brawl that will see all the competitors in front of the media here in the US. Diablo is unsure that having so many combustible elements in one place at one time is a wise decision. Brandi says they can order even more security but the “press conference” is happening and it will be a great way to hype the “Beachfront Brawl” PLE. Diablo asks if The Saint will be here tonight following the attack by Clarke James last time out but Brandi shakes her head but says he will be in Miami which is another reason they need more security…..Brandi promises that Clarke James will be “Sainted”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
Bout 3
Lumberjack Match (If Liam Wood loses his "career" is over)
Liam Wood vs Drake Callihan
Lumberjack Match (If Liam Wood loses his "career" is over)
Liam Wood vs Drake Callihan
*We return to ringside and there is a renewed charge in the air after finding out that Liam Wood’s career is about to be put on the line. Wood arrives to a huge reception and makes his way to the ring. The commentators talk about how the odds have been fully stacked against Wood here and the “Wheel of fate” has been cruel to him. Jeff Thadeus is concerned that Drake Callihan already holds two victories over Wood and with all his EWF cohorts as the “lumberjacks” this is not going to end well.
*Wood paces the ring as he waits for Callihan to make his appearance but he is not forthcoming. RJ believes Callihan is playing mindgames but then the big screen comes on and we see the bloodied face of Drake Callihan being dragged along the floor backstage by an unknown attacker. Kelsey Callihan is cowering in the corner, looking terrified, as it is revealed that Vincent Costello is behind it all.
*Costello speaks to Wood now and he wants him to understand a few things. Drake Callihan is nothing but a curse with an overinflated opinion of himself. Costello agrees that EWF went down the pan because of Callihan and it’s laughable that anyone believed he would ever return to do Callihan’s bidding. Costello is his own man with his own vendetta and all Drake Callihan had to do was mention the name “Liam Wood” and he was already sold on his return.
*Costello tells Wood that this is between them, it always has been and it always will be. EWF will always be defined by their rivalry so the only two people who can end this for good is them, nobody else even matters. That’s why Costello isn’t interested in all Callihan’s pi55ant schemes and dredging up the pathetic carcasses of EWF…..he pulls the camera around now and we see E-Unit, Bryan Wells and a couple of others who have been completely pulverised by Costello.
*Costello wasn’t about to let Drake Callihan end this story tonight and pretend he was responsible for finishing Liam Wood….because that honour belongs to one man and one man only, the man Liam Wood is looking at right now. Costello tells Wood that at Beachfront Brawl they will write their final chapter in what has been a storied rivalry but this tale doesn’t have a happy ending. Costello then offers Wood a “gift” and that is the mangled body of Drake Callihan. He sits Callihan up next to the wall as Kelsey shrieks at him to leave her father alone. Costello smirks as he picks up a steel chair and thunders it against Callihan’s head, crushing it against the wall. Kelsey crawls over to protect her father now as Costello smirks. He contemplates delivering another blow to both of them but throws the chair aside and turns back to the camera.
*Wood’s eyes have not left the big screen once as Costello glares back at him, breathing deeply. Costello says there is still so much he has to say, so much he has to get off of his chest, but it can wait until next week in Miami. He tells Wood to make sure he’s there because he is not going to want to miss the final revelations that will pave the way to their ultimate showdown. Costello continues to walk down the corridor and Wood tenses as he sees VC stop outside of a room and peer inside. Emmy is looking at herself in the mirror and Costello turns back to the camera and tells Wood he is a “lucky man”. But wonders will he think the same after next week. He grins before switching the camera off.
*Liam Wood is full of rage now as he climbs from the ring to make his way backstage. A cameraman doesn’t move fast enough and Wood shoves him to the ground in a heap as he rushes toward the backstage area. The commentators are wondering just how far this is going to go between the two of them and will there be anything left after Beachfront Brawl.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Backstage and Liam Wood is in Emmy’s face. He wants to know what she is hiding from him and he knows something has happened between her and Costello. Emmy is crying but she assures Wood that nothing ever did. She admits they spent some time together when Wood went “dark” but Costello was obsessive and only ever wanted to talk about him. Emmy admits she was lost and looking for something but all she ever wanted was Liam. Wood looks slightly appeased as Emmy tells him Costello is trying to manipulate him and get inside his head. Wood says he never wants to return to the “darkness” but when he and Costello meet at Beachfront Brawl he will not be held responsible for his actions. He holds Emmy’s face in his hands and he needs her to understand that he will do “whatever it takes” to end Vincent Costello.
*Geoff Steel is here in Las Vegas and he is ready to fight. He tells Jack Reynolds that he understands everyone’s concerns but he is healing nicely and tonight he is going to show the world that he is ready for war. Steel brushes off the talk of “injuries” and says by time Beachfront Brawl gets here he will be 100%. He wants Blue Dragon to understand that he has made a very serious mistake by choosing to continue this battle. Steel admits he has never been in a “Barbed Wire Deathmatch” before but he’s a quick learner and he is more than sure he will walk out victorious once again. We get a quick scene change as we see Blue Dragon arriving at the arena. The commentators debate on whether BD will sign his contract tonight.
*Oliver Keane and Daniel Reilly are here and they approach Alex Walker for more information on the “opportunity” that Reilly earned last week. Walker tells them tonight isn’t the night but he will give them full details next week in Miami. Reilly says Walker has “screwed me before” but Walker smirks and assures Reilly that is all “water under the bridge”. He promises Reilly will have his answers next week and he will like what is presented to him.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Uryu is sitting in his locker-room when Gazzy and Christy walk in. Gazzy wants to apologise for leaving Uryu high and dry but Ishida waves him off and understands. Uryu says as long as Christy is ok, that is all that matters (which leaves a little tension in the air). Gazzy says they were just leaving and nods at Uryu, who returns the gesture. Christy smiles at Uryu as she leaves with her husband. Uryu sees them out and sighs as he watches them go. He turns back around and Edward Plague is sitting where he was just sat.
Uryu prepares for a fight but Plague laughs and tells him “there will be no war tonight, my brother”. Uryu wants to know why Plague is there and Edward replies “To show you the future….do you not want to see how this all ends?”
Uryu looks puzzled now as Plague’s eyes glow…
Plague: Are you not tired, my friend, of being the “good man”….the “dutiful friend”….the “shoulder to lean on”….what if I were to tell you that the path of enlightenment I have built for our friend, Gareth, is also a path for you…..you see this time you don’t have to be the best man, the sidekick, the supporting role…..you are the champion in name only but when I am done, the world will look upon you as a King…..with a Queen by your side…
The only Queen you have ever wanted…
*Plague’s eyes flicker with malice now
Plague: Gareth is about to enter a whole new world, Uryu, and I promise you that the new version of himself that rises from his baptism in the Lake of Truth will not be welcomed with open arms by those who claim to “love” him….he will be shunned by the masses, they will not accept the real him and he will be forced to seek the comfort in solitude…
But you….you will reap the benefits of his downfall…..when one hero falls on the battlefield, a new one shall rise to take his place….that hero will be you, the gold, the glory, the girl….all of it will belong to you….
*Plague rises now and is inches from Uryu
Plague: Sounds good doesn’t it, friend? Everything you have ever wanted….within your reach….and all you have to do is reach out and take it…
*Plague’s mouth is curved into an evil smile now
Plague: Dreams do come true, Uryu…..all you have to do is wake up!
*Plague leaves as Uryu is left looking extremely thoughtful

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
Bout 4
Geoff Steel vs ???
Geoff Steel vs ???
*Geoff Steel receives a huge ovation from the Las Vegas crowd as he walks out onto the stage. Steel’s ribs are taped and he is still sporting some of the bruising from “Against the Wall”. The commentators are amazed to see Steel back in action but apparently he was insistent upon it, especially give that Blue Dragon will be here later on tonight to sign his contract as a 6CWF employee and confirm the “Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch” for “Beachfront Brawl”.
*Steel is in the ring now as we head to the big screen and Alex Walker is the man spinning the “Wheel of Fate” for this contest. He wishes Steel luck before he spins it and it lands upon “Ghosts of the past”. Steel raises his eyebrows as Alex Walker informs him that he is about to face three opponents, back to back, from his career. Steel readies himself and the crowd give a huge ovation as the giant form of Mr Crowley walks onto the stage.
*Jeff Thadeus reminds us that Crowley is a former 6CW Champion and that he once set Steel on fire. RJ is concerned that Steel, who is far from 100%, is looking at a very dangerous situation here. Crowley steps over the ropes, an evil grin on his face, and he steps close to Steel. They glare at each other and then Crowley grips him around the throat. He looks for a chokeslam but Steel jumps out the side and lands a big kick to the gut before rallying with huge right hands. He looks for an Irish whip but Crowley reverses and drops Steel with a big boot. Crowley grabs Steel by the head now and signals for a “Jackknife”. He flips Steel up but Steel leaps out the back and he runs the ropes and returns with a huge spear.
*The crowd are willing Steel on as he beckons Crowley back up now and kicks him in the stomach. He sets for the “Bladecutter” but it is reversed into a backdrop. Steel is holding his ribs now as Crowley drills him with a chokeslam. The crowd groan and look concerned but Steel shows guts to kick out on two.
*Crowley draws a finger across his throat now and sets for the “Jackknife” but Steel shows his power to swipe the legs of the big man. He tries to turn Crowley into the “Steelworks” but the big man kicks him away into the corner. Crowley gets up and looks for a running splash but Steel moves aside and sends his opponent against the turnbuckle. He scoops Crowley on his shoulders now and drills him with an “Attitude Adjustment”. Steel grabs Crowley by the head and follows up with the “Bladecutter” before covering for the three as the crowd cheer.
*Steel holds his ribs as he takes a moment to celebrate his first win before he is attacked from behind by Yarmouth Blade. The crowd boo as Jeff Thadeus reminds us that this match once headlined for the 6CW Championship. Blade stomps all over Steel and then drags him up and nails a “playmaker” for a two count. Blade beckons Steel up and runs at him for a jumping leg lariat but Steel catches him and launches him at the ropes with a powerbomb. He then drags him up and gutwrenches him into a running powerslam for a two count.
*Steel signals for the “Bladecutter now” but Blade backs to the ropes and backdrops Steel over the top to the outside. He then nails a baseball slide into Steel’s injured ribs. Blade climbs out onto the apron and runs across into a flying senton takedown on the outside.
*RJ talks about how this is a chance for Steel’s opponents to potentially earn a full time spot on the roster. Blade throws Steel back in the ring and heads for the top rope now. He launches into a senton bomb but lands across Steel’s knees. Steel stumbles back up and hits a full nelson slam but Blade kicks out again.
*Steel takes a chance and heads for the top rope but Blade is up and swipes his legs. Blade climbs up and nails a superplex, which hurts Steel badly. Steel staggers up and eats the jumping leg lariat for a two count. Blade signals for his patented powerbomb now and he flips Steel up but Steel lands out on his feet and lands a flush headbutt to the face of his foe. Blade staggers and comes back around for a right hand but Steel ducks it and scores with a “Blue thunder bomb”. He stumbles to the corner now and is successful with a flying headbutt for another three count as the fans cheer.
*Steel is sitting in the corner now, breathing heavily, as the commentators talk about how it was perhaps a mistake for Steel to take this match with the potential of “Beachfront Brawl” looming large. Neo Domino is Steel’s third opponent as we are reminded of their brief feud in 2012 before 6CW took a hiatus. Domino is quick to the ring and is looking to take advantage of Steel’s injuries. He flies into him in the corner with a huge dropkick to the body and then beckons him out. He scoops Steel on his shoulders and nails a “GTS” but Steel kicks out.
*Domino goes up high and he launches off with an overhang neckbreaker before following up with a lionsault but Steel kicks out. Domino heads for the corner again and he scores with a frogsplash now but Steel demonstrates his resilience to kick out.
*The commentators are worried about the damage sustained to the body of Steel throughout this contest. Domino wills him up and runs in for a “codebreaker” but Steel catches him and slams him down on the mat before synching in the “Steelworks” submission. Domino screams in pain and tries to scramble for the ropes but Steel drags him back and really drives his knee into the spine of his opponent. Domino has no choice but to tap his hand to the mat furiously and give Steel the victory, prompting huge cheers from the Las Vegas crowd.
*RJ and JT pay homage to Steel tonight as he returns to the ring and overcomes three opponents. The crowd are chanting his name and he raises an arm in appreciation of their support before climbing from the ring. He heads up the walkway but there is a commotion from the crowd as Blue Dragon is shown walking through. He hops over the barricade to ringside.
*BD gets on a mic and he congratulates Steel on his victory. He’s glad Steel is here because he has something to show him. He says this match was called “Ghosts of the past” but it is now time for a “Glimpse of the future”. He lifts the ring apron up now and slides in a thick wooden board wrapped in barbed wire. He smirks as he rolls in now and stands over Neo Domino.
*Geoff Steel watches on as Blue Dragon whips Domino into the air and drills him onto the board with the “Deathnote”. The barbed wire board explodes upon impact as the crowd are stunned into disbelief at what they are witnessing. Medics rush to the ring to check on Domino now, who is bloodied and lifeless.
*The commentators tell us about how that is only just scratching the surface of what happens in a “Barbed wire deathmatch”. Blue Dragon is grinning evilly at Steel, who refuses to break eye contract. Dragon says “Bring me my contract” as RJ and JT continue to hype what we are going to witness at “Beachfront Brawl”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Blue Dragon is still waiting out in the ring as here comes Brandi and Alex Walker with the contract. A table is set up in the ring and Brandi presents the contract for Blue Dragon to become a member of the roster. BD is reluctant and then he threatens Brandi and says maybe he should send a message to JJ, seeing as though he isn’t man enough to be here himself. Alex Walker steps in now and warns Blue Dragon. Dragon smirks and he scribbles his signature. He says he may be a 6CWF wrestler from here on out but he answers to nobody. He tells Brandi and Walker that after he is finished destroying Geoff Steel….then he is coming for everyone else and chaos will reign down like fire from the sky. He smirks at Brandi as he leaves the ring and heads backstage.
*Lex Hart is being interviewed by Clarissa. Lex says the whole world seems to have forgotten who he is and what he is capable of. Tonight the “old” Lex Hart is coming out to play.
*Michael Sweetwater is getting ready when Eddy Kent, in his referee’s jersey, enters. They hug and Kent says this is the first night of “Genesis rising” and “getting the band back together”. Kent makes a joke about remaining impartial out there but says they were both the reason that Genesis was such a success and it was Lex Hart who dropped the ball on their careers. It was Lex Hart who went it alone against Keith Leone and put it all on the line….Lex Hart is the reason that Michael Sweetwater never got another job until now and he shouldn’t forget that out there tonight. Kent says Sweetwater is his “brother” and he will always have his back.
*Back in the 6CWF Boardroom and Brandi thanks Alex Walker for standing up for her against Blue Dragon and being by JJ’s side through “all the (beep)”. Walker waves off her thanks and says JJ is the only one who didn’t treat him like a pariah and welcomed him into the 6CWF fold, Walker will never forget that. Brandi admits she may have been wrong about Walker and offers him a drink. They toast to “6CWF” as the scene ends.
*Mike Hill is being interviewed. Hill is angry at the “second rate challengers” and believes he is still being overlooked despite his worth to 6CWF. Hill cites not being in action again here tonight and says if this continues maybe he’ll have to take matters into his own hands.
Rex Adamson walks into shot with the “Key to the Kingdom” Championship. He smirks at Hill and says Hill has never been “money”. He respects Hill for his work ethic but nobody really sees Hill as “the guy” and they never will. He says Hill should be happy as European Champion and that’s why he didn’t target him with his “Freshers Ball” because it would have been like putting down the old family dog. Rex is happy for Hill to “run the midcard” but he’s moving on to the big time. Rex lets Hill know that it will be a “personal pleasure” when he removes Hill from the record books and becomes the fastest ever world champion. Adamson barges past Hill and leaves. Hill looks furious.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
Bout 5
Lex Hart vs Michael Sweetwater
Special referee: Eddy Kent
Lex Hart vs Michael Sweetwater
Special referee: Eddy Kent
*We head back out to ringside following Lex Hart’s interview about reminding the world about the “old” Lex Hart. Michael Sweetwater enters the fray to a multitude of boos from the Las Vegas crowd. JT is reminding us about the “Rottweiler of Genesis” and how Sweetwater made his name being one of the most vicious members of Alex Walker’s creation. It has been years since we saw Sweetwater on the scene but he seems to have picked up where he left off during the height of his career.
*Eddy Kent then arrives in a referee’s jersey and he has a smirk on his face. He parades himself in front of the crowd before pointing down to Sweetwater, who points back with a smile. RJ talks about how this is nothing but a “stitch up” and how the “Wheel of fate” hasn’t even been used for this contest. JT is wondering how Alex Walker is being allowed to settle his own personal vendettas without reproach.
*There is a roar from the audience as Lex Hart, still in his street clothes, leaps the barricade with his trusted sledgehammer. He rolls in behind as Eddy Kent freezes on the stage. Sweetwater turns around as Lex drives the hammer into his gut and drops him in a heap on the floor. Lex points the hammer at Kent now but the “referee” has no intention of making his way to ringside.
*Lex uses the hammer to lift Sweetwater’s head up and he stares at him for a long moment. Lex says “I made you” before he drives the hammer into the side of Sweetwater’s head, leaving him completely unconscious on the canvass. Lex then beckons for Kent to come and fight him but Kent isn’t willing to come any closer.
*Alex Walker is out on the stage now to a torrent of abuse from the crowd. Walker smiles and talks about how this “a happy reunion”. He says he knows everyone believes this is personal on his behalf but to be honest he just wants to see the best versus the best, making the matches that bring in the ratings and there isn’t a wrestling fan in the world that doesn’t want to see Eddy Kent and Lex Hart go one on one. The story writes itself as the “Master and the Apprentice” battle for supremacy. Walker has run it by the rest of the board and they want to see this match take place next week on “Proving Grounds” in Miami as the crowd cheer that announcement. Walker nods at both men and begins to back away as Kent and Lex are left staring at one another….the commentators hype the historic one on one match for next week on Proving Grounds.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*We get backstage and hear a commotion as Eddy Kent has attacked Lex Hart. He drags him up and smashes his head against a huge bay door. Security and referee pour in to drag Kent away. Kent is promising to “end you for good” as Lex staggers back up and grabs the sledgehammer. He walks forward and tries to swing the hammer but a wall of guards stand in the way. Kent tells Lex to bring the hammer next week and the “old” Lex Hart because he is going to prove, once and for all, that he is the real and only star that Genesis ever produced.
*Clarke James appears on the screen with his “Scarecrow” mask on. He is surrounded by “The Following”. CJ wants to deliver a personal message to The Saint. He knows The Saint isn’t here tonight, perhaps he has cold feet after last week? But CJ knows better. Saint is an egotist and his own biggest fan. He knows The Saint won’t want to “die on his own sword” unless it is in front of the masses and Clarke James is happy to oblige him by giving The Saint the biggest send off imaginable at Beachfront Brawl.
CJ wants the world to understand that The Saint is no martyr and he is no hero. He wants to take everyone back to the days when The Saint tried to destroy JJ Johnson himself and now he’s just jealous because CJ is going to succeed where he failed. Hell maybe even Cassius Zhi will make a late play to knock James off because he failed too…
James says “don’t you understand yet?” because all of JJ’s greatest rivals did everything they could to end The Franchise but they all failed….they failed where Clarke James will succeed….Clarke James will be the man that finally ends JJ Johnson and there is nobody that can get in the way of that….he sees the hyenas circling, looking to pick the bones, your Reborns, your Graces, Dubois and Dragons…..but none of them will even get close….and why? Because he has planned this for too long….every last intricate detail….right down to the moment of execution….
Clarke James reiterates that The Saint will be just another pawn…..another mask for his “Following” to wear….another victim of his crusade….another obstacle that must fall to clear his path to JJ Johnson….he says there are only a few of you left….and every single one of you will pay for his sins...

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
The scene opens, Engel is sat in a barely lit room, his head in his hand repeating a monotone chant.
Engels gonna kill you, Engels gonna kill you, Engels gonna kill you...
He falls silent and lifts his head, a thoughtful expression on his face.
It has been years since I last heard those words. My little birds singing their dawn chorus. The truth is...
Engel pauses and shakes his head slowly, with a look of disappointment. He composes himself.
The Truth is that when I joined 6CW all those years ago, I had hopes, ambition just as any man in my position. I believed myself greater than I was, and when things did not go my way, I quit. I would return, reinvent myself, sometimes I would play the puppet to give you what I thought you wanted. What I thought they wanted. I was never the Engel I wanted or promised to be. I regret that. I chased titles, adulation and validation. In that folly of a pursuit I lost myself and failed each and every one of you. All I ever left in my wake was unfinished business when what I wanted was a legacy, to be noticed.
Engel throws his head back laughing before staring intensely into the camera.
So you see, this is not my final chapter. This is not even chapter 1, hehehe, This is the Engel I want to be, this path the one I will carve for myself. There will be no more unfinished business, no more mindless folly. Little birds, the first of my targets has been marked. You know who you are. Maybe you don't, maybe it has not quite clicked, maybe you have no reason in your mind to fear such threats. Regardless, I hope that you can accept my heartfelt apology. An apology for the situation you now face, you see I need to set an example, to set out my stall so to speak. Hehehe, maybe we will even meet in Vegas? Wouldn't that be fun? After all, when the chips are down...
The lights go out revealing Engels glow in the dark face paint.
...All bets are off hehehehe.
The scene ends

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*The scene changes and there is a conflict between Jerome Dubois and O’Callaghan. OC is mocking Dubois and asking why he is even here. “Nobody even remembers you” to which Dubois responds with a slap. Dubois says “Remember zat”. OC is ready to retaliate as security push them apart. Dubois holds up his GWA Championship and says he’ll be in Miami next week if O’Callaghan is man enough to step up. Daniel Reilly enters the scene now and he and Dubois stare at one another. Reilly looks at the title on Dubois' shoulder and smirks. He carries on walking past, leaving O'Callaghan and Dubois glaring.
Clarke James opens the door to the 6CWF Boardroom. Brandi Johnson stands up immediately and a dark smile dances on CJ's lips. Alex Walker steps in front of CJ and Brandi. He glares at James and shows no fear. James says he is merely here for the "Wheel of fate". Walker spins it and it lands on "First Blood". CJ laughs as he puts his mask on and says "As you command" and walks out. Walker places a hand on Brandi's shoulder as CJ leaves but she says "I'm ok, honestly.....his day is coming and when it does, I'll be there".
Bout 6
First Blood
Clarke James vs ???
*The commentary team are still talking up the Alex Walker/Clarke James confrontation backstage and building up to the “First blood” match that we are about to witness. Clarke James makes his arrival to ringside, amidst a torrent of abuse and boos. He removes his mask and passes it to “The Following” who subsequently leave ringside after CJ’s entrance.
*RJ is wondering who CJ’s opponent is going to be when ex-6WF star and Church of Hero member Longinus comes out to a big ovation. Clarke James looks almost amused as his former ally makes his way to ringside and climbs inside. RJ and JT are debating on how Longinus must feel as he returns to face a former stablemate in what promises to be a bloodthirsty encounter. RJ believes The Saint will be watching this from wherever he is right now.
*CJ licks his lips as the referee talks with both men and then signals for the bell. Longinus walks forward and he offers a handshake to James. James just stares at the hand for a moment and then, to everyone’s surprise, he accepts the shake. Longinus smiles and then goes to pull away but CJ drags him back in and drills him with “Faithless” as the crowd boo him once more.
*James then shocks the crowd and has the fans wincing as he removes his belt and begins to whip Longinus with it. Longinus’ screams fill the air as horrifying red welts appear all over his skin. CJ goes to town and targets every single part of the body he can reach. He then wraps the belt around his fist so that the buckle is showing and he kneels down over his opponent and begins to beat him with horrifying venom.
*The referee tries to get in and look but James pushes him away before applying a crossface. He pulls the belt tight around the face of Longinus so that it is pulling at his mouth and dragging his jaw apart. Blood is streaming from Longinus’ face (from the punches with the belt) and the official immediately calls for the bell but James does not relent with the submission. The bell continues to sound and the referee is trying to pull James off of his victim but with no success.
*After another minute CJ releases the submission and leaves his bloodied opponent face down on the canvass. CJ just kneels now with a dark expression on his face as the commentators talk about how we are once again witnessing the darkness that resides inside of Clarke James. Suddenly “The Following” begin to walk across the rampway toward the ring. They drag Longinus up and hoist him overhead as the crowd watch on. They carry him backstage as James slowly follows them. CJ stops on the stage for a moment as Longinus and “The Following” disappear. He stares out at the audience and then places his “Scarecrow” mask back on and follows into the back.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*Brandi is on FaceTime with The Saint. She says Clarke James just brutalised Longinus and she isn’t sure The Saint facing him at Beachfront Brawl is for the best. She knows JJ won’t want any more of his friends to get hurt and Brandi doesn’t want that either but Saint shoots the idea down. He says there is no contract and no sign ups. Like it or not he came back for this fight and nobody and nothing is going to stop him from destroying Clarke James at Beachfront Brawl. He smiles at Brandi and says “See you next week” before hanging up. Brandi has a smile on her face but still looks concerned.
*Backstage and Uryu is heading up onto the rooftops but finds Rex Adamson already up there. Rex smirks as he rounds on Uryu. He pats the “Key to the Kingdom” Championship over his shoulder and says the belt can unlock any door, including up here, so Uryu has nowhere to hide if he decides to come calling. Uryu stands his ground and says he will never hide from anyone or any challenge. Rex walks up close and says “Good to know, I’ll be in touch” before smirking and walking off. Uryu is left looking contemplative once more.
*Last scene change and Dicey Reilly is interviewed. Dicey is all fired up and ready for a war. He is delighted to be back in 6CWF and he has come back to prove he still has what it takes but make no mistake first and foremost revenge on Marty Helms is on his mind and that starts tonight. But it ends by hitting Helms where it hurts and taking his most valuable possession which is the 6WF Championship. Dicey can see it now, himself standing tall with the world title in his hands whilst Marty Helms drowns in a pool of his blood at his feet.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
Main Event
Marty Helms/??? vs Dicey Reilly/Scott Harris
Marty Helms/??? vs Dicey Reilly/Scott Harris
*The crowd are in fine voice for the main event of the evening as we get a recap of last week and Dicey Reilly’s return following the Helms/Harris match for the 6WF Championship. Harris is the first to arrive and is met by a thunderous ovation. JT talks about how many believe Harris should be the world champion right now and how he will be hoping to stake his claim once again tonight for a position at the top table. Harris climbs into the ring and soaks up the reaction of the audience.
*There isn’t a fan that isn’t on their feet as Dicey Reilly enters the arena. The cheers are deafening as the commentators struggle to make their voices heard. Dicey stands with a beaming smile and nods his head in appreciation. The commentators talk about how they didn’t believe we would ever see Dicey in a 6CWF ring but here he is, the hall of famer, and he is seeking retribution on the man (Marty Helms) who tried to end his career in such brutal fashion three years ago. Dicey climbs through the ropes and he nods respectfully at Harris before climbing onto the ropes to pose in front of his adoring fans.
*Marty Helms enters the fray and the 6WF Champion looks in a thunderous mood. He is only halfway across the ramp when the big screen comes on. The commentators are talking about Helms’ fired up mood and the fact that he still doesn’t know who his partner is tonight. Brandi Johnson is joined by Alex Walker as they make the final spin of the wheel tonight and it lands on “Double Jeopardy”. Brandi smiles as she reveals that this match will now before the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship….Helms looks irate now but Brandi isn’t done. She says that Helms’ partner will also be responsible for the 6WF Championship and if he loses then Helms will lose his title.
*Helms is ready to throw a fit now as the commentators talk about the magnitude of what has just been announced. Helms looks ready to blow a gasket before “Renegades of funk” blasts out and Rex Adamson is revealed as his partner. Rex swaggers across the walkway, the “Key to the Kingdom” Championship on his shoulder, and he grins at Helms. The commentators debate on Rex’s involvement and wonder how Helms is feeling about this. Rex is one of the best in the business right now but he also has his own targets and goals and that includes becoming world champion. Helms is yelling at Rex and telling him to concentrate. Rex merely smiles and aims to carry on to the ring but Helms grabs his shoulder and pulls him back. He gets in Rex’s face now and is making him aware of what he expects from his partner. Adamson and Helms continue to glare at each other.
*Helms heads to the ring and climbs in first. He holds the 6WF Championship up. He then holds the belt in his hands and looks at it before spinning and aiming it at Scott Harris’ head but Harris ducks the shot and unloads with huge right hands. He whips Helms across the ring and sends him flying with a huge backdrop as he comes back. Harris offers the honours to Dicey and the crowd cheer as the Irishman crashes into the world champion with a clothesline that sends him over the top rope.
*Helms is throwing a fit now and ripping the coverings off the announce desks as the commentators talk about how the 6WF Championship really is hanging in the balance here. Helms finally returns to the ring to square off with Scott Harris. They circle for a lockup but Helms drives in with a boot to the gut and then clubs Harris across the back. He whips him off the ropes and drops him with a heavy back elbow as he returns. Harris holds his jaw as he stumbles up and Helms pushes him into the corner before unloading with brutal stomps to the midsection.
*Rex calls for the tag but it is obvious that Helms is reluctant to let his partner have control. He whips Harris to the opposite corner and follows. Harris drives his feet up but Helms catches them and slams them down before driving in with a thunderous clothesline. He lifts Harris onto the top rope and climbs up as well. He prepares for a huge superplex but Harris somehow rolls over his shoulder and drops down onto the second rope behind the champion before delivering a huge German suplex from on high. Harris slowly crawls into the cover but Helms kicks out on two. Harris offers the tag to Dicey as the crowd go wild.
*Dicey unloads with furious right hands to Helms and then whips him off the ropes. Dicey drops his head for a backdrop but Helms stops short and kicks him in the head. Dicey staggers and the champion looks for a lariat but Dicey ducks and leaps into a neckbreaker. Helms crawls to the corner and Dicey thunders into him with a cannonball splash and drags him away from the ropes. He covers but Harris breaks it up. The commentators talk about how only the man with the winning fall can become champion. Dicey fixes Harris with a wry smile before going back on the attack.
*Dicey drags Helms up for a “jackhammer” but Helms floats over and shoves Dicey into the corner. He chases in but eats a big elbows to the jaw. Dicey runs out for a big boot but Helms ducks it and then nails a huge AA spinebuster for a two count. Helms stands and he stomps all over Dicey before dropping on top for furious ground and pound. He snarls at the referee before beckoning for Dicey to get back up. He charges in for the “Blade of the ruined king” knee strike but Dicey rolls away. They scramble back up and Helms looks for a discus forearm but Dicey catches him with an unorthodox belly to belly throw. Helms crawls up in the corner as Dicey signals for the “Hangover cure” but Rex reaches over and slaps the champ for a tag, drawing a big response from the crowd.
*Rex is all smiles as he gets in and confronts Dicey Reilly. They go head to head and talk trash before Rex shoves the hall of famer in the chest. Dicey responds with a huge right hand and now a firefight has broken out. Dicey rocks Adamson back onto the ropes and looks for a whip but Rex pulls inside and he drags Dicey toward him before popping him up into a spectacular Samoan drop. Dicey stumbles back up to his feet as Rex runs the ropes and returns with a huge leaping European uppercut. He covers but Dicey kicks out on two.
*JT and RJ are discussing how Rex looks right at home in the main event and how he may choose to use that “Key to the Kingdom” Championship sooner rather than later. Rex stalks Dicey and then scoops him onto his shoulders but Dicey falls behind and shoves him into the corner. He runs in and lands a splash before dragging him out into a big time suplex. Dicey backs into the corner and lifts himself onto the second rope before jumping off with a fistdrop but Rex kicks out on two. Dicey raises an arm to the crowd, who cheer, and then he drags Rex up for the “Craicdown” piledriver. Adamson struggles and then he swipes Dicey’s legs. He stomps on his midsection before catapulting him to the corner. Rex is up and he crashes against Dicey’s back with a splash before dragging him out into a huge release German suplex. Rex leaps over the top rope onto the apron and he waits for Dicey to rise before slingshotting back through the middle rope into a forward roll and a dropkick which sends Dicey into a heap in the corner. Rex does a lap of the ring and then he tears in with a huge back splash (Umaga style) against the head of his seated opponent. He drags Dicey away from the ropes and covers but Reilly just gets his shoulder up again.
*Rex heads for the corner and climbs high. He walks along the ropes to the middle and leaps into a flying dropkick but Dicey moves at the last minute and sends his man crashing into the mat. Rex gets back up and Dicey lifts him into a back to belly piledriver (White Noise). He covers but Marty Helms breaks the pin on one. Helms stomps on Dicey’s head and then yells at Rex as he grabs his singlet and drags him back to the ropes. Helms reaches over and slaps his way back into the match. Rex gets up and doesn’t look overly impressed with Helms’ actions. He spins the world champion around and they go head to head again. The commentary team are talking about how Helms’ paranoia is becoming a problem for him in this match. Helms tells Rex to “get your a55 back on the sidelines where you belong….let the champ deal with this”. Rex smirks and then backs away to the apron.
*Helms turns back around and eats a huge boot to the face from Dicey Reilly. Dicey drags the 6WF Champion back up and he lands a buckle bomb on him before kicking him in the gut. He sets for the “Craicdown” but Helms backs to the ropes and backdrops him over at the final moment. Dicey lands on his feet and looks for a shoulder thrust through the middle but Helms drives his knee up into the skull, completely dazing Reilly. He drags him back through and flips him into the “Infinity Edge” (Lungblower) but Harris breaks the cover on two.
*Helms and Harris share a staredown now as the crowd chant “Needs more Harris”. Helms turns his focus back to Reilly now and he sets for the “Bloodthirster” punt to the head but Dicey avoids it at the final second. Dicey kicks Helms in the stomach and scoops him onto his shoulders before spinning him out into a front slam. He heads for the corner now and climbs up but Harris slaps his leg for the legal tag. Dicey is left sat on the top rope with a smirk as Harris goes on the attack. He beckons Helms to his feet and nails a hat-trick of German suplexes before heading for the opposite corner and comes off with a frogsplash. Rex Adamson merely watches on as Helms kicks out at two.
*Harris beckons Helms to his feet and looks for a “codebreaker” but Helms catches his legs and lets the bottom drop out. He slingshots Harris to the ropes where he collides with Dicey and sends him crashing to the outside. Helms takes advantage of the referee checking on Dicey by low blowing Harris and he rolls him up but Harris kicks out at two, drawing cheers from the crowd. Helms is irate as he drags Harris up and he decimates him with the “Infinity Edge” (lungblower). He heads for the ropes now and leaps into a huge flying headbutt to the chest. He covers and it looks all over but Dicey drags Helms under the bottom rope at the last minute before smashing into him with the “Hangover Cure” against the steel steps.
*The crowd are going wild now as they sense a huge title change in the offing. Dicey drags Helms back up and throws him into the ring. Rex Adamson is merely smirking and watching from the apron as Scott Harris stumbles to his feet. Helms is all over the place as he gets up and eats the “Shot in the Dark” (Olympic slam). Harris then delights the crowd as he slaps on the sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Helms is screaming in pain….he reaches out but the ropes are too far away. He then looks over toward Rex and he reaches out his hand but Adamson smirks and says “I’m gonna let the champ deal with this”….Rex winks at Helms and then backs up the walkway as the crowd’s cheers go up another notch. The commentators are talking about how Marty Helms has been left high and dry and his reign as 6WF Champion looks to be in tatters.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds "Wheel of Fate Special" Results - August 14th 2023 (Episode 11)
*The champion looks to have no option but to tap out when Dicey Reilly kicks Scott Harris in the gut and decimates him with the “Craicdown” in the middle of the ring. The commentators are talking about how the lure of the gold can corrupt anyone but JT believes it is more than that….it is the desire to be the one to put an end to Marty Helms once and for all.
*Dicey drags Harris toward the ropes and then steps out on the apron so that he can make the tag when flames erupt from all of the turnbuckles and from the stage. Here comes Cerberus across the walkway as the Las Vegas crowd are on their feet. Marty Helms has rolled from the ring amidst the darkness and the smoke and he grabs his world championship. He backs toward the railings and looks as though he is going to make an escape when there is more huge cheers from the audience. A pathway seems to open up in the crowd and there is Tyler Roth, staring full throttle at the 6WF Champion. The commentators cannot believe that Roth is here after last week but the queue to end Marty Helms is getting longer and more dangerous by the second.
*Helms doesn’t seem to have anywhere to run so he spits on the floor and rolls back into the ring. Dicey Reilly has tagged himself in from Scott Harris and is waiting. He rushes forward but Helms ducks him and smashes him in the side of the head with the 6WF Championship belt, which prompts the referee to automatically call for the bell and signal a DQ. Cerberus has climbed over the top rope now and Helms looks to smash him with the belt but Cerberus grabs him by the throat now. He lifts Helms off the ground and decimates him with a huge chokeslam as the crowd go wild.
*Dicey Reilly is sat between the ropes, a small trickle of blood on his temple, and he looks at Cerberus, who stares straight back. Scott Harris has dragged himself up in the corner now as Tyler Roth leaps the barricade into the ringside area. All four men are now are staring at one another as Marty Helms and the 6WF Championship lays in between them all.
*The commentators are debating on whether any world champion in history has ever faced a “Murderers Row” of challengers like the one that Marty Helms is up against right now. JT reminds us that this is all of Helms’ own doing, he brought all of this upon himself.
*Alex Walker walks out now as the show reaches its conclusion. He is here on behalf the 6CWF Board and he wants to make an announcement in regards to the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship at Beachfront Brawl. He says he knows that there is a long line of competitors looking to get them some of Marty Helms and he understands and appreciates everyone’s claim to be number one contender. But this is 6CWF and this is the new era where we give the fans what they want to see…...and the Board believe that the fans want to see Marty Helms defend his title against all of the challengers, which prompts a huge cheer from the crowd. Alex Walker is smiling now and says they are going one better….Marty Helms will defend the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship at Beachfront Brawl against Cerberus…..against Dicey Reilly…..against Scott Harris…..against Tyler Roth…...and one more participant…..and they are going to do it inside the ELIMINATION CHAMBER!
*The T-Mobile arena is ready to come unglued as the show reaches its end as Walker disappears from the stage and leaves the commentators to hype up what is coming. Marty Helms is just about trying to sit up in the ring as he sees Cerberus, Harris, Roth and Dicey all looking down at him and the 6WF Championship.
