Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 12:15 pm

*We go live from inside the Tokyo Dome with a recap of what went down last week including Eddy Kent's defeat to Dicey/Scott Harris as well as the announcement of the Fatal 4 Way for the 6WF Championship. We immediately go to shots from throughout the day of various superstars arriving for the show. It ends with Gazzy & Christy's arrival. Edward Plague is already waiting for them and has possession of the 6CW Championship belt.

We then switch to see Uryu Ishida doing some last minute prep. The commentators are talking up Ishida's more violent and physical approach as he prepares for the biggest match of his career.

*We get a shot of Robin Reborn sitting in Alex Walker's office with a contract in front of him. Walker is telling Reborn that this is 6CWF's best and final offer. Reborn smirks and says he'll think it over but he sure hopes that Walker won't try and low ball him in the same way that JJ did....because he turned down a spot in the Royal Rumble to be here but one more (beep) up from this company and he'll be headlining Wrestlemania.

*Blue Dragon is here in Tokyo. Tim Allen wants to get a word with him and see if any decision has been made on what world championship he will challenge for with his KTTK Championships. Dragon just smirks and says "The beltholder is irrelevant because whatever championship I want, I will take".

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Bout 1
6CW World Championship
GazzyD (c) vs Uryu Ishida

*The Tokyo Dome is jam-packed as the audience are prepared for the opening bout of the evening. There is a great ovation as Uryu Ishida makes his entrance and hops into the ring over the top rope. He paces back and forth, looking every ounce prepared, as he waits for his opponent to make his entrance.

*We get a reminder that the decision has been to let this match go ahead as “no dq”. GazzyD then makes his grand entrance, surrounded by multiple members of the “Plague” family. They bow to him as he shoulders the 6CW Championship and makes his way down toward the ring. We get a shot of Edward Plague watching from backstage with Christy sat next to him.

*Uryu is pacing back and forth as Gazzy takes his time to reach the ring. The champion gets up on the apron. There is a shout from the crowd as Gazzy looks over at his once-adoring fans. Uryu takes this chance to run to the corner and he springs over the ropes and twirls Gazzy off the apron to the concrete floor with a devastating tornado DDT. Uryu then drags the steel steps away from the ring and he uses them to moonsault off across the chest of the world champion.

*Uryu surprises the crowd now as he pulls out a kendo stick from under the ring. He twirls it in his hands and waits for Gazzy to get up before lashing it across his spine. He follows up with two more shots to the back and then crashes it into the champion’s midsection as he turns around. Uryu throws the remnants of the stick away and then he runs back toward Gazzy and monkey flips him upside down into the ringpost. The commentators believe GazzyD is facing a man who has been pushed too far.

*Uryu drags a table from under the ring now and he fixes it between the ring apron and the ringside barrier. He then drags Gazzy around and bounces his head off one of the announce tables. Gazzy remains slumped there as Uryu pulls himself up on the barrier behind the table and leaps across with a legdrop to the back of Gazzy’s neck. Ishida ensures Gazzy is completely motionless on the announce desk before he heads back to the ring and climbs up on the turnbuckle. The fans rise in anticipation as Ishida launches through the air for a huge legdrop but the champion moves at the very last second to send Ishida crashing through the wood.

*Gazzy has an angry expression on his face as he looks down at Ishida in the wreckage. He grabs the ring bell and waits for Uryu to stagger up before smashing it in the side of his head. He kicks the top of the steel steps away, leaving the flat base, before he pulls Ishida on top of it and he piledrives him on the steel. Gazzy just sits there and smirks as Ishida remains unconscious at his side.

*Gazzy throws up the ring apron now and he drags out a ladder. He pushes it into the ring before heading around to the announce area and grabs a steel chair. Ishida is using the ring apron to get up as Gazzy jabs the chair into his ribcage before throwing him inside the ring. Gazzy is up on the apron now and he springs over the top, tucking the chair under him, and looks to land on top of Ishida but the challenger moves and the champion crashes on top of the chair, rolling away clutching his tailbone.

*Gazzy staggers up in the corner as Uryu sets the chair up and uses it for a solo “poetry in motion”. Gazzy stumbles out and Uryu pulls him into a faceplant suplex, crashing Gazzy’s head through the seat of the chair. Uryu spies the ladder now and he drags it over and dumps it on top of the champion before he climbs out on the apron. He signals to the crowd and then springboards into a 450 but, whilst in midair, Gazzy launches the ladder upward so that it collides with Ishida in a sickening impact. Both men are hurting on the canvass as the commentators talk about the brutality we have seen thus far.

*Gazzy is back to his feet as Uryu takes a seated position in the corner. Gazzy places the ladder next to the champion before he circles the ring and sprints back in with a brutal dropkick that crushes the champion. Gazzy then places Ishida on the ladder before nails “Starship pain” from the turnbuckle. He covers but Uryu finds a way to get his shoulder up on the count of two. Gazzy looks as though he’s had enough as he drags Uryu up and hooks his arms for “Deep Impact” but Uryu swipes his legs as the back of Gazzy’s head smashes off the ladder. Uryu then catapults Gazzy into the corner before sprinting in with double knees to the spine. He lifts Gazzy up on the ropes now before climbing up behind him. It is pure devastation as Uryu nails a poisonrana from on top which flips Gazzy out and causes him to land, body first, on top of the ladder.

*Uryu crashes a buzzsaw kick into Gazzy’s head and covers but it is only enough for a two. The challenger climbs from the ring and then returns with another table, which he places vertically in the corner. He steps out on the apron and waits for Gazzy to rise before springboarding in for a huge forearm strike but the champion sidesteps at the final minute before snapping off the “History Maker” (inverted twist of fate) for a very close two. Gazzy sits and stares at the referee for a long moment before clambering back up. The champion gets back up now and he rolls from the ring before retrieving another steel chair. He sets it up on the canvass as he waits for Uryu to rise. He then grabs the challenger in a half nelson for a “skull crushing finale” on the seat but Uryu spins out at the last minute and lands a leaping inverted STO which crashes Gazzy’s head off the seat. The champion remains slumped there as Uryu climbs out on the apron and then catapults back in with an “X-Factor” facebuster which crushes the seat under Gazzy’s face. Ishida covers but the champion finds a way to kick out.

*Uryu grabs Gazzy’s arm and tries to apply “Sunset” but Gazzy pulls backward in desperation and sends Ishida crashing into the turnbuckle before he lands a blatant low blow (No DQ). Gazzy takes a few moments to get his composure back before stumbling back to his feet. He grabs the ladder and sets it up before he begins his ascent. He looks down from on high and then leapfrogs over the top of it into a splash but Ishida moves at the very last moment. Gazzy rises as Uryu flies into him with a huge shotgun dropkick (ala Finn Balor) which sends Gazzy crashing through the table in the corner. Ishida drags the champ from the wreckage and covers but Gazzy kicks out again. Uryu looks a little stunned but he pushes on. He heads up high now for the “Split Second” but lands across the knees of the challenger. Gazzy then rolls out on the apron and he scores with a sensational 450 headbutt but now Uryu defies belief with the kickout.

*Gazzy shoves the referee before he climbs from the ring and grabs his title belt. He rolls back in the ring now and is urging the challenger to his feet. He swings the belt at Uryu’s head but he ducks it and then nails a spinning heel kick which thunders the gold into Gazzy’s face. Uryu is clearly in a lot of pain but he manages to get himself up the ropes and lands the “Split Second”. It seems a title change is on the brink but Gazzy somehow finds the bottom rope with his boot. Uryu rolls from the ring and he slides yet another table inside. He drags Gazzy up and dumps him on top before heading for the ladder. He is very slow to climb and that allows Gazzy to get up and scale the other side. They battle up above before Gazzy slams Uryu’s head down on the top. He then tries to pull Ishida over the top of the ladder and land the “Deep Impact” but Uryu returns the favour with a low blow. Ishida then lands a sensational but horrifying “Code Red” sunset flip bomb from up high that obliterates both men through the table below, leaving them in absolute carnage underneath.

*The referee looks concerned for the welfare of both men as they are barely able to function. We get a shot of a very agitated Christy backstage whilst Edward Plague seems to be enjoying every moment of what he is watching. It takes a couple of minutes but eventually both men are beginning to stir. Uryu staggers up but collapses on his knees again as Gazzy rises and lands a hard boot to the side of the head. Gazzy then heads for the corner and starts to climb. He reaches the top but then decides to ropewalk toward the middle. Uryu staggers up and he leaps through the air to land on the middle of the top rope with his opponent. What happens next is pure devastation. Uryu twists his body and seizes Gazzy before nailing a “Spanish Fly” to the outside that crashes both men through the table leaning between the ringside barrier and ring apron. The replays are on a constant loop as we see the horrific landing that has left both men in a heap amidst the wreckage. Gazzy and Uryu’s necks seem to take a bad portion of the impact.

*Back live and the referee is kneeling next to them and trying to get responses. He doesn’t look happy at all with what is coming back to him from both competitors. He takes another look and then rises to throw up the “X” and signal that he is ending procedures. The crowd are disgruntled with the finish but RJ admires the referee for protecting both fighters, citing that they were ready to end each other and their own careers to settle their bloodfeud. There is still very little movement from both as stretchers are brought out and then a visibly upset Christy arrives. She looks over to Uryu, clearly hoping he is ok, but stays by her husband’s side. Gazzy is the first to be led away as Christy stays by her husband’s side. Uryu is then being loaded as Edward Plague appears and blocks his exit. Christy is paused on the stage, fearful, as she watches Plague drag Uryu off the stretcher and throw him in the ring before delivering a horrifying “Purifier” (Omega Driver) on the broken fan favourite. The final picture is of Plague kneeling over Uryu holding the 6CW Championship belt whilst Christy stands on the stage next to the stretcher to which Gazzy is strapped.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 12:30 pm

*We head immediately backstage as GazzyD is being wheeled toward a waiting ambulance. Christy is with him as he is placed inside and the doors are shut. Christy looks tearful as she holds her husband's hand but then the back doors open again and Blue Dragon climbs inside, grinning. He sits down next to Christy and we hear him say "Need a word with hubby.....when he wakes up".

*Alex Walker pays a visit to the Parasite Killers and wishes them luck here tonight. He says they have a special opponent planned for PK but he has high hopes that they will deliver and continue to impress him. He winks at Jenny McManus and then says "Impressing me leads to big opportunities, I implore you to remember that".

*We get a disturbing VT up next. It is shot inside an abandoned warehouse and depicts Miss Jessica in a lab coat as she is calling for "more test subjects". A door opens to the side as a gang of men, chained together, are led in by more men in coats. Screams of anguish and agony can be heard and it is clear that the "subjects" are getting very nervous about something that is taking place off camera. Miss Jessica clicks a pen and smiles vindictively as a new "subject" is unshackled. He has gone to bits and cannot move but is shoved forward and inside of a glass dome in the middle of the room. There are blood splatters all over the glass as we get a glimpse of a heap of unconscious bodies. The lights go down and flash on and off now as the new "subject" becomes terrified. The lights come back on and a bloodstained Engel Harlequin is standing behind him. We shoot back to Miss Jessica and she scowls as she reaches for a clipboard. We hear renewed screams of pain and "I QUIT, I QUIT" but Miss Jessica merely laughs now as fresh blood splatters on the glass dome and the scene ends.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Bout 2
The Parasite Killers vs ???

*The crowd are set as The Parasite Killers make their entrance with Jenny McManus. We get a recap on their more aggressive attitude as of late. The commentators debate on what the future holds for the only current active tag team on the roster.

*The anticipation grows for the mystery opponents and there is a huge ovation from the Tokyo Dome as Dopant Zero are revealed. The reigning NJPW Tag Champs are full of gusto as they make their way on the stage. Yagurama and Nogami look in tremendous shape as they climb up into the ring to square off with PK.

*The commentators hype up this meeting as Yagurama and The Fanatic take centre stage. The two big men go toe to toe and then begin to trade with huge punches. Fanatic uncorks a huge uppercut on Yagurama and then attempts an Irish whip but the DZ member turns inside and drags him into a huge spinebuster (ala Batista). Nogami tags in now and he climbs onto Yagurama’s shoulders before dropping a leg across Fanatic’s throat from on high. He covers but Fanatic kicks out.

*Nogami runs the ropes and returns with a bakatare sliding kick to the face and follows up with a standing moonsault but Fanatic powers out. Nogami heads out on the apron and readies for a springboard attack but McManus runs along the apron and drags him down, guillotining him across the ropes. Fanatic is up now and he launches Nogami back into the ring with a huge Biel throw. Nogami struggles up and Fanatic benches him up before dropping him across his knee with a gutbuster for a two count.

*McManus tags in now and he stomps all over Nogami. He rags him up and pummels him back to the corner. The referee warns McManus but he doesn’t seem to listen. He heads back in but Nogami kicks out at his face. Nogami twirls around and springs off the middle turnbuckle for a crossbody but McManus catches him. He swings him on his shoulders and looks for a running powerslam but Nogami slips out and then nails a capoeira kick and a somersault kneedrop for a two count.

*Yagurama is back in now. Nogami whips the big man into a splash on McManus in the corner and then floors him with a flash kick to the jaw as he stumbles out. Yagurama takes over now and he nails an imploding splash (ala Jack Swagger) in the corner. Fanatic is forced to break the count. There is another staredown between the big men. Yagurama beckons McManus up and lifts him for a shoulderbreaker but McManus rakes the eyes and falls off the back. Yagurama runs in the corner but McManus dives away and sends his opponent into the turnbuckle. McManus tags in Fanatic now and he runs the ropes for a flying chopblock to the back of the knee as Fanatic nails a huge big boot to the face at the same time. Fanatic covers but Yagurama kicks out.

*Fanatic urges Yagurama up now and wants the chokebomb but the DZ member breaks the grip and then lands a huge overhand chop to the top of Fanatic’s head, dropping him to one knee. Yagurama then runs the ropes but returns into a huge chokeslam. Fanatic covers but Nogami catapults through the ropes into a senton splash to break the cover. McManus storms in and nails a “knee trembler” to Nogami’s head and launches him from the ring. PK get Yagurama back up now and Fanatic shows great strength to lift him on his shoulders. McManus climbs on the ropes and they nail the “Midnight Hour”. A three count looks imminent but Yagurama throws a shoulder up at the very last second.

*Fanatic signals for the “Total elimination” powerbomb but Yagurama counters with a backdrop. McManus looks for the blindside attack and then an Irish whip but Yagurama reverses and then he pops McManus up on the comeback before slamming him into Fanatic as he gets back up. Yagurama nails McManus with the “Kunai” Powerbomb (Gutwrench) but the referee informs him that McManus isn’t the legal opponent. Fanatic scales the ropes now and nails a flying lariat (ala Kane). He ushers Yagurama back up and seizes him for the chokebomb as Nogami flies from the side and nails a kick to the head (ala RVD). Dopant Zero drag Fanatic up now and nail the “Thunder Express” combo (ala MCMG). Yagurama covers but Jenny McManus distracts the referee before he can complete the count.

*Jenny pleads innocence as DZ accuse her of interfering. Nogami is tagged back in and he scales the heights. He wants the “Nogami Splash” (360 Shooting Star) but Fanatic moves at the last second. Fanatic staggers up and he catches Nogami running in with a big back elbow and then destroys him with the chokebomb. Fanatic is slumped on the deck and in need of a tag as Jenny McManus is trying to revive her husband on the outside. Yagurama drops off the apron and runs around to attack McManus but Jenny shoves her husband out of the firing line which in turn sends Yagurama crashing through the steel steps and into a heap on the floor.

*McManus is back on the apron and takes the tag from his partner. He circles Nogami and then gets him up for a death valley driver but Nogami elbows his way off and then nails a pele kick. McManus sways on the spot and then drops into a seated position as Nogami runs the ropes and returns with a huge, stiff, basement dropkick to the face for a two count. Nogami ushers McManus up and wants the “Samurai Shock” (ala Kenny King) but McManus battles free and then scores with the “River Wensum Plunge” for a very nearfall.

*McManus sets for the tombstone but Nogami slips off the back and shoves him to the corner. He runs in but McManus kicks him away. McManus lifts himself onto the second rope but then Nogami sprints back in and leaps onto the ropes with his opponent. He slams a forearm into his face and prepares for a suplex as Fanatic climbs in and lifts Nogami onto his shoulders (electric chair) from behind. McManus steadies himself and then leaps off with a huge clothesline (Doomsday Device). He covers but Yagurama returns to break the fall.

*Both teams are going at it now, slugging it out. Yagurama lands a huge knee to Fanatic’s gut and prepares for the “Kunai” powerbomb but McManus shoves Nogami over and sprints in with a brutal lariat to the back of the head. Yagurama staggers to his knees as Fanatic signals for his own powerbomb. McManus is over by the corner and is taking off the top turnbuckle pad. Yagurama swipes Fanatic’s legs and catapults him into the opposite corner. He clambers up and lands a huge running splash before he turns and sprints across for the same on McManus. McManus, however, moves and Yagurama crashes, chest first, against the exposed steel. McManus beckons Fanatic over. Fanatic grips the big man for a chokebomb and slams him down across the knees of McManus, sending him rolling from the ring.

*Nogami is up and he nails dropkicks on both Fanatic and McManus. He wipes them both out with spinning heel kicks. Before he springs off the ropes and lands a flush kick to McManus’ face as he rises. He beckons Fanatic up now and runs at him for a flying kick but Fanatic uses his momentum to tilt-a-whirl him up into the “Total Elimination” (Jacknife powerbomb). McManus stumbles up now and they nail the “Boot of Doom” for the three count. The crowd applaud the amazing action as the commentators hype up an incredible bout and a very impressive W for The Parasite Killers. McManus and Fanatic are joined by Jenny McManus in the ring to celebrate their victory. Are PK on the verge of the big time?

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 12:48 pm

*We get interviews from earlier in the day from both Jerome Dubois and Mike Hill. Tonight they settle their differences and move forward. Both men are declaring themselves for the "Gateway to Glory". Dubois is adamant that we are looking at the man who will headline "Night of Glory" because it is his destiny and it is what he deserves. Mike Hill knows things have been a little up and down for him as late but he still believes that he is "that damn good" and a win here tonight in Tokyo will be his springboard back to the main event.

*Eddy Kent takes a seat at Alex Walker's desk. Kent is "disappointed" in Alex Walker and cannot believe the decision he has made tonight. Walker needs Kent to know that as a world champion in "my company" he is expected to prove his position. Kent says that Walker knows his worth, he has done since day one and he cannot help but believe Walker is compromised in some way. Walker stares at Kent for a long moment and then the door opens and Clarke James enters. CJ glares at Kent as he takes a seat on the sofa. Kent turns back to Walker but the stony glare has returned as Walker says "My company, my rules....now I suggest you get ready, big match upcoming".

Kent stares at Walker and then shakes his head as he rises. There is another staredown between Kent and CJ before the Genesis leader leaves. Walker turns to James now and asks "Everything ready for tonight?. A step closer to making good on our agreement?". CJ merely leans back on the sofa and ignores Walker.

*Liam Wood is interviewed from back in the UK. He says he is on the mend but that being at peak physical fitness as well as mentally prepared is unlikely before reaching "Day of Reckoning" but that won't stop him from ending this blood feud with Engel Harlequin. Wood says most people don't believe he can make Harlequin quit but he is adamant that everyone "has a breaking point" and that Harlequin is "still just a man". Wood says the whole world is in for a shock when he puts Engel down once and for all and then he enters the "Gateway to Glory". Wood is hell-bent on ending this and pushing on with his career, drawing a line on "a year from hell". Wood promises "Day of Reckoning will be a day to remember".

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 12:52 pm

Bout 3
Jerome Dubois vs Mike Hill

*We return to ringside as Jerome Dubois is making a grand entrance. He has huge processions of pyros as he twirls on the stage with an elaborate robe and the GWA World Championship belt strapped around his waist. He clambers up into the ring as the commentators talk about how Dubois’ return to 6CWF has been a mixed bag. JT truly believes, however, that Dubois is a real contender for the Gateway to Glory and his vicious streak could see him in a prominent position come Night of Glory.

*Mike Hill makes his entrance now as we get a recap on the issues that have been going on for the last couple of months between the two veterans, including the brutality of the “Hardcore Hell” bout. Hill clambers up on the apron and through the ropes as Dubois attacks him. He pummels Hill’s spine and then drags him centre ring. He flips him up for the “Culture Shock” (Dominator) but flips right through into a sunset flip bomb for a near fall. They scramble back up and Hill dodges a right hand before landing a backheel kick to the gut. Hill attempts the “Over the Hill” (Diamond Dust) but Dubois shoves Hill, chest first, into the turnbuckle and crashes him down with a back suplex for a two count.

*Dubois unloads with chops to Hill’s chest and then looks for an Irish whip but Hill turns inside and drags Dubois into an inverted atomic drop. He lands a spinning heel to knock his opponent down and then looks to follow up with a lionsault but lands across the knees of Dubs. The Frenchmen gets back up now and scoop slams Hill to the deck before elbow dropping him to the chest for a two count. Dubois eyeballs the referee before ushering Hill up. He drags him into place for the “Fortune” (Go Flasher) but Hill counters in midair with the “Hill-can-rana” which sends Dubois through the ropes to the apron.

*Hill runs to the corner and springs off the turnbuckle before landing a cutter which guillotines Dubois across the top rope and sends him sprawling to the outside. The referee wants to keep the action in the ring but Hill is on the offensive. He grips the top rope and catapults himself over the top into a crossbody takedown on Dubois, drawing applause from the audience. Hill pulls Dubois up and launches him back in the ring before he scales the turnbuckle. Dubois is up as Hill crashes into him with a missile dropkick for another two.

*Hill drags Dubs into the centre of the ring and lands a “Hill Walk” (Standing shooting star) before heading to the corner. He signals for “Mike Time” (450 splash) but Dubois rolls out of the firing line before it hits. Hill is doubled up as Dubois pulls him up and nails the “Garlic Bomb” for a near count. Dubois stomps all over Hill now until the referee intervenes and warns him about his conduct.

*Dubois headbutts Hill back onto the ropes and unloads with more chops before whipping him to the ring. He follows in but Hill rolls around the ropes and lands a feint kick over the top (ala Christian). Dubois staggers back as Hill climbs up high. He leaps off now for another dropkick but Dubois pulls clear and catches Hill’s legs, guiding him to the mat. The Frenchmen then turns Hill into the sharpshooter. Hill is in a whole world of pain and is forced to endure nearly two minutes in the hold before he reaches the ropes and seizes the bottom. Dubois stomps all over Hill’s back before another referee intervention.

*Dubois kneels in the opposite corner now and waits for Hill to rise before he sprints out for the “French Connection” spear but runs into a brutal dropkick to the face. Dubois tries to sprint in now and trap Hill in the corner but eats both feet to the face. Hill turns and springs off the turnbuckle before landing a vicious tornado DDT for a two count. Hill beckons Dubois up and this time he scores with the inverted atomic drop/spinning heel kick combo before landing the lionsault but once more Dubs is equal to the pin attempt.

*Hill drags Dubois up and drills him with a faceplant suplex before heading for the corner. He scales the heights and prepares himself for the “Next Big Move” but then Dubois rolls out of the ring. Hill changes tact and position as he launches to the outside but Dubs sidesteps and uses Hill’s momentum to send him crashing against the ringside barrier. Dubois throws Hill back in the ring now and he runs the ropes for the “French Connection” spear. Hill is flattened but amazingly pops his shoulder up on two.

*There are more arguments between the official and Dubois now. The Frenchmen is irate as he heads from the ring and grabs a steel chair. He attempts to use it but the referee pulls it from his grasp. Dubois is distracted as Hill is able to get back up and rolls him up (holding the tights) but Dubs just manages to kick out. They scramble back up and Hill tries for a leapfrog but Dubois catches him on his shoulders. He looks for the “Garlic Bomb” again but Hill counters with another hurricanrana but this time he rolls through and grabs Dubs’ legs for the “MHND” (liontamer).

*Dubois survives over a minute in the hold and grasps the bottom rope as the referee forces Hill to break. Hill walks back in to drag Dubois away but takes a thumb to the eye whilst the referee is trying to separate them. Dubs now runs the ropes for another spear but Hill counters with a drop toe hold. He looks for the liontamer again but Dubois kicks him away. Dubs scrambles back up and tries to lift Hill on his shoulders but he drops off the back and lands an “Edge-o-matic”. Hill heads to the corner now and scores with “Mike Time” (450 splash) but Dubois shows resilience to kick out.

*Hill circles now and then he grabs Dubois’ head and looks to run to the corner for a turnbuckle-assisted “Over the Hill” but Dubois pushes him away at the top and Hill’s legs go either side of the top of the ringpost, causing him serious agony. Hill drops off the ropes as Dubois drags him into the centre and nails the “Au Revoir” (Sit out sideslam) for a two count. Dubois looks angry but he drags Hill back up and scores with “Fortune” (The Go Flasher Suplex into front slam) which gains him the three and the W. The commentary commends Dubois’ performance and a statement made with a clean victory over Hill (thus ending their tete de tete). Dubois spits down on Hill before he drags the steel chair from early. He places it on the mat before demolishing Hill on top with the “Culture Shock” (Dominator). RJ remarks on Dubois’ violent nature and that the lure of “Night of Glory” is starting to show many superstars’ true colours.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 1:08 pm

*Geoff Steel is interviewed by Clarissa. Steel is ready for war here tonight and knows he will need to be at his absolute best to get his hands on the "#30" but win, lose or draw here tonight he is extremely confident in the fact that he will win the "Gateway to Glory" and headline "Night of Glory" for the first time in his career. A singular red balloon rises into the air behind Steel as he is talking.

*Max Adamson is interviewed. Max is asked about the "Adamson Civil War" and how his ally (Rex) left him to side with Genesis. Jack Reynolds is unsure that Max can win this against the odds seeing as he, Harris and Dicey will now be enemies here tonight as they bid to become world champion. Max laughs and says he doesn't need "allies" as history dictates that any alliance Max Adamson has with anyone ends up in tatters.

Anthony Grace walks into shot (anyone order the MegaStars?). He tells Max that there are "no mistakes that cannot be reversed with the offering of an olive branch". He pats Max on the shoulder and heads for ringside as Adamson is left in a ponderous mood.

*Oliver Keane and Daniel Reilly exit their locker-room. Clarissa tries to grab a word as Oliver Keane puts a hand over her mic. Reilly smirks and we hear him saying "Make way for the King". They reach the end of the corridor as Alex Walker and Clarke James step out. There is a long staredown and Reilly laughs them off before he and Keane head for the Gorilla position. Clarke James' evil black eyes stare after Reilly as Alex Walker hands over the "railroad" spike and then James puts on the "Scarecrow" mask to end the scene.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 1:11 pm

Bout 4
Fight for #30 Finale
Anthony Grace vs Clarke James vs Daniel Reilly vs Geoff Steel

*The major hype package comes to a close with a graphic of all four finalists heading into the “Fight for #30” Finale. Back at ringside and Daniel Reilly is first to make his entrance accompanied by Oliver Keane. The commentators are remarking on Reilly’s amazing run of form dating back to late 2023 and how the European Champion has certainly become a frontrunner once more in 6CWF. Is “The King of the Streets” heading for another Night of Glory main event?

*Geoff Steel is afforded a huge ovation as he walks out onto the stage. We get a recap on his issues with Daniel Reilly over the last couple of months and how that will be revisited here this evening as both men gun for such a coveted spot. Steel eyes up both Keane and Reilly as he paces the ring and then climbs up inside. Anthony Grace then arrives and there is yet more support from an adoring Japanese fanbase. Grace looks in confident mood as he heads for the ring. Can he fully turn around his fortunes as he bids for a shot at the big time?

*Clarke James is the final entrant. He is surrounded by members of “The Fallen” as he appears through the murkiness (Scarecrow mask intact). The commentators believe that every opportunity is being carefully manufactured for James at the hands of Alex Walker to ensure he is positioned at the top table. RJ remarks on that being the bargain they struck. Walker got control of 6CWF in return for CJ being entitled to any main event position he sought. Oliver Keane looks nervous as four of the “Fallen” remain in the aisleway whilst CJ clambers up into the ring. There is a long staredown between all four competitors as JT reminds us of what is at stake.

*Clarke James drops his railroad spike from the sleeve of his jacket and tries to stab at Grace’s head out of nowhere but Grace drops his shoulder, anticipating the attack, and backdrops CJ over the top rope to the outside. Daniel Reilly quickly scurries over and is waiting behind Grace. He leaps for the RKO as Grace turns but he is pushed away. Steel is ready and scoops Reilly on his shoulders before launching him over the top rope and on top of Oliver Keane with an “Attitude Adjustment”.

*Grace and Steel stand-off now as the crowd give both men applause. They begin to trade with punches before Steel slams his head into the side of Grace’s face. He whips him off the ropes and lowers his head for a backdrop but Grace counters with a running neckbreaker. They get back up and Grace nails an atomic drop before running back off the ropes and returning with a bulldog takedown. He heads for the corner now and finds himself up high. He prepares for the “Fall from Grace” (Moonsault) but CJ is back up and he swipes Grace’s legs from the apron. Grace is sat on the turnbuckle (facing outward) as CJ clambers up with him now. He prepares for a back suplex from on high but Steel is back up now and he powerbombs CJ from the top rope at the same time Grace is dragged off into the suplex.

*Reilly attacks Steel from the side and lifts him into a vertical suplex before dropping a leaping knee to the head. Reilly heads for the corner and heads up high. He readies for the frogsplash now as Steel moves but Clarke James eats the full splash. Reilly gets back up as Steel runs through him with a huge spear but Anthony Grace breaks the count. Grace quickly tries to nail Steel with the “Thunderstruck” (FameA55er) but Steel turns his body and catches Grace on his shoulders before spinning him into a huge sitdown powerbomb. Steel heads for the corner now and he lands with a huge flying headbutt from the top. He covers and seemingly has the three count but Clarke James breaks the count at the final second.

*Clarke James lashes open chops at Steel’s chest and then looks to whip him off the ropes but Steel is too strong and reverses. CJ comes back and Steel looks for an AA spinebuster but CJ spins out onto his feet and quickly rakes at Steel’s eyes (his MO). Steel staggers around and is then lifted into a Samoan drop by James but there is a kickout on two. James stalks Steel now and wants “Faithless” but Steel elbows his way free. He scoops CJ on his shoulders for the “Attitude Adjustment” but a member of “The Fallen” leaps on the apron for a distraction. Steel drops CJ and then lands a huge right hand on the robed man. James takes advantage with “Faithless” now on Steel. He covers but Daniel Reilly drags him off the cover and applies the anklelock.

*James is in a lot of pain as he tries to reach the ropes and break the hold. Reilly is really upping the ante and bending the appendage at a sickening angle. James looks like he may quit but then Anthony Grace rolls Reilly up for a two, breaking the submission. CJ retreats from the ring now and hobbles on the affected ankle. Grace and Reilly are trading shots now and Reilly lands a hard kick to the stomach. He flips Grace up but AG drops behind him and into a backslide for another two count. They get up once more and Grace sidesteps and sends Reilly off the ropes before leaping into the air and lands a huge “Superman” punch as he comes back. Grace covers but Oliver Keane places Reilly’s foot on the ropes.

*Grace rolls out to confront Keane. Steel is up now and stands behind Keane as he backs up. Oliver Keane looks panicked as Grace whips across for the “Blockbuster” (Tornado roundhouse) but OK ducks and Steel gets laid out. Keane scuttles away as Grace looks apologetically at Steel and then rolls back in. Reilly is recovering as Grace runs in for the “Thunderstruck” but the Euro Champ avoids and then leaps up and nails the “RKO” from nowhere. He makes the cover now but “The Fallen” drag Reilly from the ring and pummel him in the aisleway. It seems Reilly’s issues with CJ & Walker from last week have struck a nerve.

*CJ is conducting now as Reilly is dragged around to the announce area. Clarke James climbs up on the barrier and walks behind the tables as Reilly is flipped up into a powerbomb position and held there by three of the “Fallen”. CJ then leaps through the air and drags Reilly down into a powerbomb/neckbreaker combo through the table which leaves the European Champion decimated amidst the wreckage. The commentators are stunned by Exodus’ targeting of Daniel Reilly. JT blames Alex Walker’s undying hatred of Reilly which stems back way over a decade.

*CJ sees Anthony Grace struggling on the canvass and decides to head back to the ring. He rolls in and he stalks Grace before looking for “Faithless” but Grace battles free and then nails a German suplex for a two count. Grace and CJ struggle up and Grace dodges a clothesline before he pops James up and nails a stiff European uppercut as he lands. Grace heads for the corner now for the moonsault but changes tact and moonsaults to the outside to take out all members of “The Fallen”. CJ has his railroad spike on hand and he smashes it into Grace’s head as he returns to the ring. A three count is a definite but Geoff Steel arrives back on the scene to break it up.

*Grace is on the outside receiving medical attention for a cut on the side of his head (courtesy of the spike). Geoff Steel kicks CJ in the stomach and looks for the “Bladecutter” but CJ swipes his legs and catapults him to the corner. Steel hits the turnbuckle and staggers back as CJ prepares for the “Jay Driller” piledriver but now Steel swipes the legs and applies the “Steelworks” in the middle of the ring. James tries to get to the ropes and is within inches of grabbing them when Steel drags him back to the centre and places a knee into the spine.

*Anthony Grace shoos the ringside doctor away and readies to get back in the ring when Robin Reborn starts swaggering down the ramp. Grace moves around to confront Reborn but he holds up his hands in mock innocence. Suddenly Ojore storms in from the side with a huge “Pounce” tackle that sends Grace crashing through the ringside barrier and leaves him in a battered heap on the concrete at the feet of the fans. Reborn is gleeful as he stands at Ojore’s side and they stare at Grace with triumph. The commentators talk about how Reborn must be choosing to stay in 6CWF if he is continuing his issues with Anthony Grace.

*We shoot back to the ring and Geoff Steel still has the “Steelworks” locked in on Clarke James. James looks ready to submit but is able to reach his “spike”. He twists his body so he comes back underneath Steel’s legs and aims to jab at his face with the “spike” but Steel shows immense strength to lift James off the canvass into a powerbomb position. CJ is high in the air but now he manages to jam the spike down into Steel’s head, splitting him wide open. CJ is back on his feet, a callous smile on his face, as he beckons the bloodied Geoff Steel around and nails him with the “Jay Driller”. He covers and the three count is a foregone conclusion until Oliver Keane pulls the referee from the ring.

*CJ locks his dark eyes on Oliver Keane now and is ready to climb from the ring for the attack when he is spun around and drilled by the RKO from Daniel Reilly. Reilly hooks both legs on James and we have our winner. Oliver Keane is fist pumping the air as Reilly rolls from the ring to join him in celebration. Daniel Reilly has secured the #30 for the Gateway to Glory. JT now believes Reilly is the “100% favourite” to win the match. RJ says “Penny for the thoughts of Clarke James & Alex Walker right now”. It seems their plan to target Reilly has completely backfired. Is Alex Walker allowing old disputes to get in the way of his new exploits?

*We get a shot of Anthony Grace, who is trying to sit up in the crowd, as commentary debate on what comes next for he and Robin Reborn whilst Geoff Steel is sitting against the ropes with a bloodstained face, watching Reilly and Keane celebrate their victory. Clarke James is conscious and we get a shot of him staring up into the sky, a dark expression over his features, before the cameras shoot back to Daniel Reilly. Reilly is talking to the cameras now as we hear “The King of Europe is about to become the King of 6CWF. Alex Walker tonight is your final warning, do not play with me”.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 1:43 pm

*Dicey Reilly and Scott Harris are interviewed. They are on the same page tonight and in agreement that Eddy Kent cannot leave as world champion but is is clear that both men have ambitions as leaving with the strap. They show respect to one another but it is clear there is tension with such an opportunity on the line.

*Eddy Kent, Michael Sweetwater and Tyler Roth interrupt Rex Adamson as he is getting ready. Kent stands behind Rex in the mirror and claps him on the shoulder before saying "There is nothing more important that family.....see you out there, son". Kent shoulders the 6WF belt and leaves as Rex is left alone staring at himself in the mirror.

*Alex Walker is congratulating Robin Reborn on signing a new contract with 6CWF. Reborn says "You just ensured 6CWFs future". Walker points out that he is more than happy to agree on Reborn's "Only PPV & PLE appearances" but wants to point out the smallprint that Reborn's first PPV match is already signed and it will be against Anthony Grace at "Day of Reckoning" inside a steel cage. Reborn snatches up his copy of the contract and leaves. Walker smirks.

Clarke James then enters and is furious. There is a picture of the 6CWF roster on the wall and he drives the railroad spike straight through Daniel Reilly's head. Walker says "Next week, we sort this....believe me, I know how to deal with Daniel Reilly".

*Final scene change and we see Max Adamson staring at a picture of himself and a young Rex celebrating Max's Undisputed 6WF Championship win. Max sighs and sets the picture back down before he is disturbed by a noise from the corner of the room. He turns to see a battered and beaten Uryu Ishida sitting on a bench. Adamson walks over and sits down next to his long-term friend/rival.

Max says "Why did you keep fighting? Even when you know you can't win?"

Uryu: Because I still believe...

Max: Mate, they're gonna kill you...look at you...

Uryu: Then at least I'll die standing up for what I believe is right.....there's no honour in death but there is honour in standing up and being counted....

*Max stands and takes a deep breath before heading for the door

Uryu: Max....

*Adamson turns back

Uryu: There is nothing more important than family....

*Uryu crosses his arms in an "X" and then sags back against the wall. Max stares at him for a long minute and then nods his head and walks out.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 1:47 pm

Main Event
6WF World Heavyweight Championship
Eddy Kent (c) vs Dicey Reilly vs Max Adamson vs Scott Harris
Special Referee: Rex Adamson

*It is now time for the main event after a monumental night in Tokyo. There is a real sense of anticipation as Rex Adamson first makes his entrance. The special referee for tonight’s match is dressed in a singlet in referee’s colours as he makes his way down to ringside. The commentators wonder how Rex will call tonight’s match given his affiliation with Genesis and issues with all three of Eddy Kent’s challengers.

*Dicey Reilly is the next out and is soon followed by Scott Harris. Rex shows no intimidation as they climb up into the ring and glare across at him. The commentators talk about how Dicey/Harris and Max have been on the same page as of late but tonight is about becoming world champion and that is surely going to play a huge part in proceedings.

*Max Adamson makes a grand entrance now and looks hyped for the match. He makes his way to ringside and then climbs up in the ring. He makes sure to get in front of Rex whilst he performs his last minute stretches. Max’s eyes are fixed on his nephew the entire time whilst Rex stares straight back at him. Rex then looks at all three challengers in turn before smirking as Eddy Kent walks out on the stage. Kent is full of himself as he raises the 6WF Heavyweight Championship in the air before making his way to the ring. He stares at his challengers before making his way over to Rex and he hugs him, keeping his eyes locked on Max as he does so. The commentators are anticipating an intense, explosive end to tonight’s proceedings.

*The bell sounds to start the contest and there is nothing Rex can do as Dicey, Harris and Max pile into Eddy Kent and begin to pummel the world champion. They each land furious punches, sending him from one to the other, and then they whip him off the ropes and launch him skyward with a massive backdrop. Kent staggers back up as Harris lashes chops into his chest and then Dicey headbutts him before Max seizes him by the neck and launches him over the ropes to the outside. Dicey, Max and Harris all turn to each other now and there is an understanding that they will have to fight each other to become champion.

*Dicey and Max step toward each other but then Adamson clotheslines Harris to the deck. They both pull him up and sling him out of the ring as the two veterans take centre stage. They exchange words before a fist fight breaks out. Dicey begins to win out and hammers Max against the ropes. He looks for an Irish whip but Max ducks inside and drags Dicey toward him and onto his shoulders. He prepares for the “Cyclone” but Dicey drops behind and shoves his opponent into the ropes before nailing him with a big boot as he comes back. Max stumbles to his feet and Dicey scoops him into a back to belly piledriver (White Noise). He is thinking about a pin but Scott Harris leaps from the top rope and knocks him down with a shoulder tackle.

*Harris lashes chops at Dicey’s chest as he rises and then tries to whip him to the corner but Dicey reverses. Dicey chases in but Harris drives both feet up in his foe’s face before lifting himself onto the second rope. He leaps into a clothesline takedown before welcoming Dicey back up and sets for the “Shot in the Dark” (Olympic Slam) but Dicey jumps out back. Reilly lands a kick to the gut as Harris turns and he looks for the “Craicdown” but Harris swipes his legs now and applies the sharpshooter. Dicey yells in pain and tries to scramble for the ropes but is dragged back as Harris really sits down into the hold. Rex is barely checking on Dicey’s condition.

*Eddy Kent is back in the ring and lands a brutal northern lariat to the back of Harris’ neck, breaking the submission. He drags Harris back up and connects with a pulling piledriver (ala Mick Foley). He covers and Rex is quick on the count but Harris manages to throw his shoulder up in time. Kent rises and he kicks at Dicey before ragging him up. He sets for the “Mic Check” but Dicey elbows his way free and then lands a boot to the gut. He wants the “Craicdown” but Kent backs to the ropes and backdrops him over to the outside. Kent stares down at Dicey with a smirk as Max rolls back in behind him. Max is setting for the “Gore” but Rex walks over in front of Kent. Max looks thunderous at Rex’s decision as Kent turns around now. Max rises and walks over to confront them. Kent can be heard saying “Rex knows who his true family is”. Max suddenly explodes with a huge forearm to Kent’s face before whipping him off the ropes and pops him up into a powerbomb as he returns. Kent staggers into the corner and Max nails a monkey flip on him before he ushers him up and nails the “FaMaxer”. Max glares at Rex and then shakes his head as he heads to the corner and crouches. Kent stumbles to his feet and Max runs through him with the “Gore”. He gets ready to cover but Rex just stands there and stares down at him, refusing to count.

*Max looks apoplectic now as he gets back to his feet to confront his nephew. Rex is shaking his head and Max then shrugs at him and lands a huge right hand that sends him through the ropes to the outside. Dicey and Harris are getting to their feet and all three challengers exchange a look at one another before focusing on Rex. Max can be heard saying “Nobody is taking the title with this little (beeper) in charge”. Dicey nods and then they drag Rex up and we get a hellacious “Shield style” triple powerbomb through one of the remaining announce tables, leaving the special referee unconscious in the wreckage.

*All three challengers nod at one another now before heading back to the ring. Eddy Kent is clutching at his body as he tries to get up, coming to the realisation he is all alone. He staggers to his feet and sees Max, Dicey and Harris closing in. Harris suddenly leaps into him and nails a codebreaker which sends him staggering into Dicey and a huge “Craicdown” piledriver. Max indicates he is heading for the top rope now as the audience applaud what they are seeing. Max perches himself on high and then launches into a picture perfect shooting star headbutt. A new referee begins to run out from the backstage area and it looks we may have a new world champion in the offing.

*Dicey shrugs suddenly and he drags Max up and nails him with the “Craicdown” before Harris seizes Dicey and drills him with the “Shot in the Dark”. The new referee slides in and Harris covers but Dicey kicks out. Harris covers Max but now he kicks out. Eddy Kent is somehow trying to stagger to his feet as Harris smirks and then drags Kent’s legs out from under him and applies the sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Kent is in agony as Harris sits right back into the hold. The referee is asking Kent if he wants to quit but he is point blank refusing. Kent survives over a minute before he slumps on his face and seems to have lost consciousness. The referee checks his arm and it drops twice. The third time seems inevitable but the Ralph Santos (ex ref and Genesis member) drags the official from the ring and decks him with a right hand. Harris’ eyes are almost popping from his head when he sees Santos (the commentators remind us of the long history between them).

*Harris chases Santos around the ring and finally tricks him inside and nails a huge codebreaker. Harris gains revenge on Santos by putting him in the sharpshooter and forces the ex-ref to tap furiously on the canvass. Max is back on his feet now and he scoops Harris on his shoulders before obliterating him with the “Cyclone”. He covers but there is once again no referee to make the count. Max leaves the ring and tries to revive the official on the outside but to no avail. He looks annoyed and then rolls back in. He looks at Harris and Ralph Santos before crouching in the corner. He watches and waits for the first person to rise but Eddy Kent comes from the side and lands the “Genesis Kick”. He covers but also has nobody to make the count. He rolls from the ring now and is trying to drag Rex Adamson from the wreckage so he can make the call. Dicey Reilly then smashes the 6WF Championship into Kent’s head, drawing big cheers from the crowd.

*Dicey launches Kent back in the ring and then he flips him up and runs him into a release powerbomb against the turnbuckle. Kent slumps down in a seated position and Dicey destroys him with the “Hangover Cure” knee strike. He begins to drag Kent away from the ropes but Harris grips Dicey around the waist now and delivers an astonishing seven German suplexes in a row. Harris is all fired up as he heads to the top rope and lands with a frogsplash on the Irishman. Harris points to all the downed opposition but the crowd are unanimous in their desire to see him finish Eddy Kent. Harris nods in agreement as he stalks Kent but suddenly Michael Sweetwater storms the ring. He misses with a clothesline and Harris nails him with a right hand and then an overhead suplex but when he gets back up he eats a devastating discus lariat from Tyler Roth.

*Roth drags Harris up and he drags him in position before decimating him with “The Reaping” (Back suplex into a powerbomb). Dicey Reilly stumbles up now and Roth drags him into a huge one-handed spinebuster (ala Bobby Lashley) before Michael Sweetwater comes off the top with the “Six Feet Deep” foot stomp. Max Adamson attacks Roth now and is pummelling him in the corner but Sweetwater rushes over and nails a sickening low blow from behind. Roth scoops Max up now and crushes him with “The Hangman” (Running muscle buster). The commentators talk about how Genesis have ripped apart the playing field and put Eddy Kent back in the driving seat.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Tokyo Dome Special - January 30th (Episode 24)

Post by JJJohnson Tue 30 Jan 2024, 1:48 pm

*Sweetwater is out of the ring now and he rips the referee’s jersey off the unconscious official and suddenly Ralph Santos is wearing a ref’s shirt (drawing massive boos from the crowd). The commentators cannot believe this will be allowed to stand as Santos is no longer an assigned ref. Kent is on his feet and he is insistent that he wants Max Adamson to be the man he pins. Roth drags Max up and holds him up as Kent gets in his face. “This is my house Max, Daddy’s rules, and everything you think may have ever belonged to you….is mine!.....your status, your position, even your own flesh and blood….they respect me more than you…because I am Genesis, I am inevitable….and you are and forever will be in my shadow”.

*Kent backs up now before storming in with another “Genesis Kick” but Max somehow drops out of the way and Roth takes the kick flush in the face. Sweetwater rushes over but Max scoops him up on his shoulders. He spins him around so that his feet catch Santos in the jaw and send him from the ring before he destroys Sweetwater with the “Cyclone”. Eddy Kent clatters Max now and pulls him in for the “Mic Check” but Max spins clear and then scoops Kent up for another F-5. Rex Adamson suddenly runs right through Max with the “Gore” as the crowd watch on in shock.

*Scott Harris staggers up and Rex drags him into position and flips him into a powerbomb. Dicey is clambering up on the apron as Rex just throws Harris through the air and he collides with Dicey, sending him off the apron to the outside and leaves Harris in a battered slump against the ropes/turnbuckle. Eddy Kent is beaming at Rex as he rolls over and drags Max into the “Kentlock”. Max’s eyes can be seen closing within seconds of the hold being applied and Rex has absolutely no issues in signalling for the bell to end proceedings. Kent has retained thanks to a huge assist from Rex Adamson.

*Eddy Kent wants the celebrations to begin as he ushers Rex over and wants him to raise his arm in victory over the fallen body of Max. Kent nods at Rex before he rounds on all for Genesis as they return to the fray.

Kent: They’re just like locusts and they keep multiplying and coming back, so tonight we take them out…..we finish them for good…..starting with this one, right here…

*Kent motions to Max now as Roth and Sweetwater smirk and begin to head toward the ropes in order to find weapons for the attack. Kent looks down at Max and then stares up at Rex. Rex looks down at his Uncle and then stares at Kent. Sweetwater launches a chair inside as Kent picks it up and now he passes it to Rex. The commentators cannot believe that Rex will cave his own Uncle’s skull. Rex turns the chair over in his hands and seems to be in deep deliberation on his next move.

*Jolts of electricity begin to spark from the stage and across the big screen. The energy pulses over and over before a bolt of energy seems to strike the ring which causes all members of Genesis to become startled. All eyes are on the stage now before “Refuse/Resist” blasts through the airwaves to a huge ovation from the audience. Former 6WF World Champion Chris Patricks appears on the stage as the noise levels go through the roof. Eddy Kent now looks concerned as he yells for the rest of his cohort to gather.

*Patricks begins to make his way down the ramp as Sweetwater rushes around the ring and swings a chair at him. Patricks ducks the shot and yanks the chair off of Sweetwater before returning the favour by lashing it across his skull. Tyler Roth comes running around as Patricks throws the chair at his head, staggering him, and then he picks the chair back up and springs off the ringside barrier before smashing the weapon off of Roth’s skull. Roth staggers again as Dicey spins him around and kicks him in the gut before delivering a “Craicdown” on the hard flooring.

*Rex Adamson is being ordered forward now by Eddy Kent but Scott Harris grabs Rex’s feet from the outside and drags him under the ropes before delivering a “Shot in the Dark” that dumps Rex over the barricade into the crowd. Chris Patricks starts to walk up the steel steps now as Eddy Kent screams at him to keep his distance. Patricks has a smirk on his face and then Kent turns around and eats a huge “Gore” from Max Adamson. The audience are on their feet as Patricks goes up top and launches into a “Puzzle Solver” (Five Star Frogsplash).

*Patricks gets to his feet now and there is a long staredown between himself and Max. The former best friends and tag champions then walk forward and hug. Dicey Reilly and Scott Harris clamber up in the ring now to join them.

*Here comes Alex Walker. He has a big grin on his face. He says we have somewhat of a dilemma on our hands. Battlelines are drawn He sees no other alternative…….Day of Reckoning, Night One…..Genesis vs Max Adamson, Chris Patricks, Dicey Reilly & Scott Harris…….WARGAMES!

*Rex Adamson is up in the front row of the crowd and he is glaring at the ring as Max, Patricks, Harris and Dicey stare back at him. Eddy Kent has rolled from the ring and is sitting in the aisleway with his title belt on his lip, looking very concerned, as the show comes to a close.
