6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*We are kicking off Proving Grounds from ringside and the crowd is electric for the arrival of JJ Johnson. JJ is on the mic and he wants to kickstart this fiesta by reintroducing us all to "a couple o' guys from way back when" and then we have The Saint & Acer in the ring to complete the Coalition reunion. JJ says the whole world knows they came back to free 6CWF from the shackles off oppression that have been thrust upon them since Born in Fire and the birth of Exodus. But not only that....not only did they return for 6CWF, for the fans and for revenge....they returned to have some fun, they returned back this right here is day one of the new regime in 6CWF.
JJ goes on to talk about the contractual, board room BS that is currently going down but here on-camera they are talking wrestling. They are talking about the road to "Night of Glory" (Huge crowd pop)....
And first and foremost when it comes to Night of Glory.....he and his boys are here to throw out a challenge.....The Coalition vs Exodus....three on three....6 man tag.....no holds barred.....
Now JJ knows Alex Walker is here tonight having finally re-located his balls after turning tail and running out of Las Vegas last week. He also knows Clarke James and The Parasite Killers are here so let's not (beep) about....the people want to know, they want to hear these sorry SOBs accept the challenge....they want to know that in six weeks they are going to see Exodus take the beating of a lifetime.....
There is a brief pause but now Alex Walker is out but remains on the stage. Walker welcomes them all back but doesn't think it's good for their health to have returned, seeing as what happened to them all the last time they clashed with Clarke James. JJ holds up his hand now and tells Walker to shut up. They just want an answer, it's either a yes or a no. Walker doesn't see what is to be gained by beating three men that have already been mauled by Exodus....
JJ says Walker isn't stupid....he knows full well that the lawyers are pulling apart all the contracts as we speak, Walker's greedy grip on his half of the company is slipping....Acer, in a mock sing song voice, says "Because we know something that you don't know"......Walker looks uncomfortable now as JJ says the clock here is ticking...."Tick, tock....tick, tock"......there is a clause in one of those contracts that is going to give Alex Walker a very bad day indeed so The Coalition, out of the goodness of their hearts, are offering a way out.....they are offering Alex Walker the chance, the opportunity, to seize full control of 6CWF.....JJ Johnson will put his 50% up against Walker's 50% at Night of Glory XI as long as Walker accepts the fight...
Clarke James interrupts now and he accepts before Walker can say anything....Walker doesn't look happy but sinks back after one look from James' dark eyes. CJ says he hoped and prayed that this day would come....because the wounded animal is back and fighting for it's life, these are the fights he longs for....it wasn't enough to victimise Acer's family or The Saint's parents....it wasn't enough to get inside their homes or destroy JJ's life from the inside out.....because now The Coalition are on the hunt, they are the predators and this is where they will get sloppy....because they aren't thinking defensively anymore, they are on the attack....now the gaps will appear, the mistakes are inevitable....and that is when Clarke James will make each and every one of them pay....pay with more than just half of this company.....
James says this is it....this is the end....this really is Exodus for The Coalition and over the next six weeks he is going to drag them through every single stage of hell until they reach Night of Glory....and at that event they will beg for mercy, they will beg for a quick death.....but he is going to savour every last moment, every last ounce of pain.....Clarke James vows that Night of Glory will be the final resting place for The Coalition.
The commentators hype the historic announcement and the first confirmed match for Night of Glory as Clarke James stares down at all three members of The Coalition.
*Scott Harris is being interviewed by Clarissa ahead of his match with Mike Hill. Harris gives props to Hill but says the respect ends at the first bell because only one can advance in the FFTR. Harris says winning this tournament and securing the briefcase is his number one priority as it is a walking world championship in the right hands. Clarissa asks about the return of Mike Masters and if that is causing a distraction. Harris tells Clarissa that Masters knows where he is, he's known for the last decade, so whenever he wants to show up and "finish the story" then he is more than welcome, only this story will not have a happily ever after.
*There is a major announcement released by VIP Promotions. It seems that following the agreement between Alex Walker & JJ Johnson to put their shares of the company on the line at Night of Glory that they have also agreed the following 4 shows in the lead to the big event will be run by different superstars who earn that opportunity. JJ Johnson has first pick and in defiance of a ruling made by Walker just last month....Johnson has decided that Eddy Kent & Genesis will have the opportunity to run Proving Grounds next week.

Bout 1
Fight for the Right
Scott Harris vs Mike Hill
Fight for the Right
Scott Harris vs Mike Hill
*Mike Masters is out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd and he’s eating an apple as he swaggers to ringside and takes a seat with Henry & Harold Lloyd at the “Social Media” desk. It seems as though Masters is out here to take a front row look at our opening contest (and scout Scott Harris no doubt).
*Mike Hill is the first competitor to make his entrance and we get a recap on his recent struggles with form. Jeff Thadeus remarks on Hill’s quality, however, and believes this tournament is the perfect springboard for any talent looking to put themselves back on track. RJ talks about how the “FFTR” briefcase is a guaranteed world championship in the right hands because its ability to be cashed in wherever and whenever.
*Scott Harris receives a huge ovation as he makes his way to ringside. We get a reminder of his huge “War Games” win but also his major disappointment of losing out in the “Gateway to Glory” mostly in part to Mike Masters’ return. Harris is glaring at Masters, who continues to munch his apple, before clambering up into the ring. Could the FFTR tournament lead Scott Harris to his first singles championship?
*Hill is quick off the back and he counters an attempted German suplex into an armdrag takedown before landing a beautiful dropkick. Hill nails an inverted atomic drop and tries to follow up with a spinning heel kick but Harris’ catches his foot and looks to counter into the sharpshooter. Hill drags him down into an inside cradle but Harris manages to kick out.
*Hill leaps into the air for the “Hill-can-rana” but Harris catches him and then drops him backward, hotshotting him across the top rope. Harris drags Hill into a big bridged German suplex but he pops the shoulder on two. Harris looks for the codebreaker but Hill catches his legs and slams him down before turning him into the liontamer. Harris is in trouble and all he can see is Mike Masters’ grinning face. He does, after over a minute, manage to find the bottom rope…
*Hill goes up high and takes Harris down with a missile dropkick. Hill follows up with a lionsault but Harris catches his legs as they roll through and this time he manages to apply the sharpshooter. Hill is in a whole world of pain but survives and finds the ropes. Harris stalks Hill now and looks for the “Shot in the dark” but Hill counters in mid-leap with the “Hill-can-rana” into a pinning combo for another two.
*Hill lands a backheel kick to the stomach and attempts the “Over the Hill” but Harris uses his momentum to dump him over the ropes to the outside. Harris is distracted now and becomes embroiled in a war of words with Mike Masters. Masters continues to goad from over by the announce desks as Hill gets back in and rolls Harris up, for a very close two.
*Hill dodges a forearm and he lays Harris out with a pele kick. He then rolls to the corner and goes up high before nailing “Mike Time” (450 Splash) but Harris does manage to kick out. RJ remarks on Harris’ resiliency and predicts that he will, at some point, hold championship gold in 2024. Jeff Thadeus, however, wonders if Harris is destined to be a “nearly man”.
*Hill is out on the apron and he springboards in for a crossbody but Harris catches him and nails a huge t-bone suplex for a two. Harris goes up top now but Mike Masters throws the half-eaten apple at him and it causes another distraction. Harris looks annoyed and then attempts the frogsplash but Hill moves. Hill follows up with the lionsault but Harris manages to kick out.
*Hill is looking frustrated now and has plenty to say to the referee about it as the commentators talk about his continued run of bad form. Hill sets for the “Over the Hill” again but Harris blocks and shoves him into the turnbuckle. Hill staggers back and Harris looks for a German suplex but Hill, amazingly, backflips out on his feet. He beckons Harris around and connects with a very stiff step-up enzeguiri to the temple.
*Harris is flat on the deck as Hill makes for the corner again. The former world champion balances himself and then leaps into the “Next Big Move” but finds himself crashing across the upturned knees of Harris. Harris is up now and he glares over at Mike Masters before nailing the codebreaker and then follows up with an explosive “Shot in the Dark” (Olympic slam) for the three count. Scott Harris advances into the FFTR Quarter Finals.
*Mike Masters is mockingly applauding from ringside now as Harris gets up and beckons for him to get inside and fight him. Masters slicks his hair back and laughs before shaking his head and making his way toward the back. Harris watches his former tag partner leave before clambering out of the ring. We see Mike Hill sitting on the canvass as the commentators remark on another disappointing result and where Mike Hill may look to in order to revitalise his career.
*Clarissa is down at ringside to conduct a post-match interview with Scott Harris. Harris is happy with the W and says “bring on whoever is next”. Harris likes his chances of winning the FFTR tournament whilst paying respect to Mike Hill and his efforts. Clarissa asks about Mike Masters and Harris says “He came back to fight me, that’s his MO, and yet he’s the one walking away….make it make sense….because I’m right here…..this is ten years in the making and we can do it any time, any place”…..the crowd applaud Harris as he makes his way up the ramp. He stops at the entranceway to salute the audience when Mike Masters reappears and lays him out with a huge superkick. Masters stands over Harris now and slicks back his hair before we hear him say “It’ll happen Scotty….when you least expect it”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*We get a VT which has been shot down by the Docks in Liverpool. Logan Kincade & Blue Dragon are meeting inside a warehouse. There is the ever present edge of animosity between the two brothers but they are both in tune with bringing the next level of chaos to 6CWF. Blue Dragon makes it clear to his brother that his first and foremost priority is going after Edward Plague and the 6CW Championship. Kincade is going after whoever, wherever and whenever. This is a different era but the goals always remain the same. Kincade has Dragon's back and vice versa but it is clear that neither will have a problem with taking the other out if it comes down to it. Dragon says "The war starts tonight" but Logan shakes his head and counters with "The war never stopped".
*Eddy Kent is here with Michael Sweetwater but it seems Tyler Roth & Rex Adamson haven't arrived yet. Kent tells Sweetwater that amends need to be made with Rex for the good of Genesis and moving forward. Kent can't help but slip up when he says "I can't afford to lose focus, I can't afford distractions with the Hall of Fame induction.....I don't need anything in my way when I don't even know who I'm facing at Night of Glory". Tim Allen interrupts and he informs Eddy Kent that there will be an official "Hall of Fame" presentation tonight out at ringside. Kent asks "Is Black going to be there?" but Tim Allen doesn't know if he will be or not. Kent looks wound tight as the scene ends.
*Alex Walker is staring across at Clarke James as we switch to Walker's office. The Parasite Killers & Jenny McManus are there too (James Mc is staring at his wife, who is avoiding his gaze). Walker is saying to CJ "I just wish you had consulted me before you accepted" but Clarke shuts him down. He's been delivering and holding down his end since day one, unlike everybody else. If Walker hadn't realised, he still isn't world champion which was the key element of the deal they made. CJ and Walker both know that as long as JJ & The Coalition have any say in this company, they will never have control.
So Johnson was stupid enough to offer them that exact opportunity, to run them to the hills and he was not about to stand by and let that opportunity slip away. James knows what it takes and what he will have to do in order to finish The Coalition for good....but he can't say the same about everyone else in this room. PK snarl at him and Walker tries to play peace broker but CJ slams his railroad spike into the desk to silence them all. He says nobody here wants to get on the wrong side of him and it's time they started to realise that.....this tonight is the drawing of a very thin line, an ultimatum line if you will....it's time everyone here proved that they deserve this opportunity, deserve to reap the reward that Exodus' crusade will afford....because if they don't....CJ pulls the spike from the wood and draws it across his throat before leaving. James McManus does not look impressed.

Bout 2
Xtreme Rules
Logan Kincade vs Ojore
Xtreme Rules
Logan Kincade vs Ojore
*We get an extensive video package on the “Xtreme” and “Hardcore” divisions from years gone by in 6CW/6WF ahead of the return at Night of Glory IX. We are now back at ringside and the commentators are hyping the “Xtreme” return and the showcase we are going to get of that tonight between two men who became synonymous with those divisions in each company.
*Ojore is the first man out. The former King of “Xtreme”. We see clips of his reign of terror and how he reintroduced weapons into the “Gateway to Glory” before falling on his proverbial sword when he was put through a table by Rex Adamson. Ojore lets out a monstrous roar as he clambers up into the ring and prepares for battle.
*There is a deafening reception now as Logan Kincade appears on the stage. The former 6WF World Champion and Hardcore advocate also receives a video package of his most “hardcore” moments before a recap of his shocking and disturbing return at Day of Reckoning, including the chokeslam on GazzyD from the top of a ladder through barbed wire and tables. Logan looks as unhinged as ever whilst the commentators deliberate on the full ramifications and motivations behind his return.
*Logan has no fear whatsoever as he stares across the ring from Ojore. The two men wait for the bell to sound and then they charge, Logan leaping into the air and crashing a knee into Ojore’s chest. Ojore responds with a huge chop to the top of Kincade’s head and then runs through him with a huge battering ram headbutt. Ojore drags Logan up and slings him through the ropes to the outside.
*Ojore is clambering to the outside when Logan leaps through the air with a drive-by dropkick (ala Roman Reigns) to the skull. Ojore tumbles to the arena floor as Kincade drags up the ring apron and he drags out a metal baking tray before obliterating it across the Ugandan’s skull. Kincade stares down at Ojore now and it is clear to see that his mind is delving into somewhere dark.
*Logan has a kendo stick now and he repeatedly crashes it against Ojore’s back. Ojore yells in pain but he continues to stand up after each shot and then he catches the weapon and drags it from Logan’s hand before landing another brutal headbutt to the face. Ojore grabs Kincade and runs him forward now before just launching him over the announce tables and into a heap behind them. The big man smashes his hands against the “Spanish” table now and lets out another merciless roar.
*Ojore removes the coverings and he drags Kincade up but Logan has a steel chair and jabs it straight into Ojore’s gut before smashing it across his spine. Logan signals that he is going to pick Ojore up but he is backdropped on the solid concrete floor. Ojore stumbles over and dismantles the steel steps. He beckons Logan up and runs forward but Kincade swings the steel chair into the steps and forces Ojore down, the steps landing on top of him. Logan smashes the chair down into the steps several more times for good measure.
*Logan sets the steel steps next to the announce desks now and he guides Ojore up. He is looking for some kind of powerbomb but Ojore once again battles and succeeds in countering with a backdrop that sends Kincade crashing to the arena floor from the top of the steps. Ojore then leaps off and lands a sickening variation of the “Banzai” drop across Kincade’s chest. Ojore drags Logan up now and dumps him on the farthest table (Japanese) before clambering to the other side (Social Media). He runs across the desks and leaps through the air (ala Umaga) for a huge splash but Kincade moves at the final moment and sends his foe crashing through the wood.
*Logan is up and he seems to be laughing, enjoying being back in this environment. He searches under the ring and then slides in an assortment of items. He sets up a table and pours thumbtacks all over the top before fixing a barbed wire board underneath. Ojore has stumbled back to the ring now and is pulling himself in as Logan begins to stomp heavily at his back. Kincade grabs a steel chair and he repeatedly jabs it down into the spine of his opponent now before he sets up a second table in the middle of the ring. The commentators deliberate on if 6CWF was fully aware of what they were unleashing when they brought Logan back.
*Logan stalks Ojore now and looks to apply “Blind Justice” (sleeper hold into corner-assisted Deadly Dog) but Ojore shows off his raw power to hold Logan in mid-air and then swings him into his arms before obliterating him through the table with a “World’s Strongest Slam”. Ojore throws the debris away and covers but Logan shows his incredible resilience to somehow kick out. Ojore confronts the referee now but is told it was a definite two. He stalks Logan now and then attempts to apply the vice grip to his head. Logan is struggling under the power but then he just lashes a kick right between Ojore’s legs.
*Logan backs up in the corner now and he shows off his own immense power as he grips Ojore by the back of his neck and then lifts him off the floor before delivering “Rough Justice” (face-first chokeslam) through the thumb-tack covered table, impaling him on the barbed wire board underneath. Ojore is a bloody mess, tacks stuck in his head, as he tries to drag himself clear off the wreckage. Logan is merely smiling as he applies the sleeper hold now and he runs Ojore back to the corner for “Blind Justice” and once again smashes his head down on top of the barbed wire. Some of the fans look horrified as Kincade drags Ojore onto the canvass and pins him for the three. RJ says “Xtreme is well and truly back on the menu” as Logan’s sinister smile fills the screen. JT wants to know what comes next for Logan Kincade and will he set his sights on the most violent division in 6CWF?

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*Backstage and JJ Johnson, The Saint and Acer are reminiscing. JJ thanks both of them for returning to finish this war because he knows what the last year has done to them all and the sacrifices they are making by coming back. Acer admits that this isn't just about the war with CJ & Exodus but also proving to himself that he can still be a world champion. He says that both JJ & The Saint have achieved that, they've practically done it all, but what Clarke James did to him last year made him realise that he hasn't even come close to achieving everything that he wants. JJ claps Acer on the back and says "We put these fools away, fo' good, and after that you go show the world, brother....make it happen.....because me and Saint, boy we got some plans o' our own"....Saint shouts "Yeah boy". JJ cracks a bottle of champagne open but Acer declines because he's got "a lesson to teach". Saint however is drinking straight from the bottle as JJ reaches for another. Are The Coalition already getting overconfident?
*We are out at ringside now for the "Hall of Fame" presentation/announcement ahead of the "Night of Glory" induction. Eddy Kent & Michael Sweetwater make their entrance as Jack Reynolds and Clarissa are doing the honours with the announcing. We get a huge highlight package from the start of Genesis back in 2011 up to the present day. We then see Jackson Black being escorted by security to a seat at ringside. Jack Reynolds wants Black to come up to the ring as he was part of the original Genesis but Eddy Kent shuts that down immediately. He is incensed once more that Black is here. "You don't even work here....take your bum a55 back to that (beep)hole you came from". Kent holds up the 6WF Championship and tells Jackson Black that his ROH title means "(beep) all".
Jackson Black is being greeted by the fans at ringside and he merely smirks at Eddy Kent, once again refusing to bite. Kent says he is the reason Genesis is back on top of the world and that he and "Sweety" have been holding it down since day one. They didn't usurp, they didn't turn their back, they have always been "Genesis" and they always will be. Kent thinks he and Sweetwater are the ones who deserve the rings and that "over my dead body is he (points at Jackson Black) getting one at Night of Glory". The crowd are chanting "one more match" at Jackson Black now and he smiles at their reaction. Eddy Kent says Black wouldn't dare come back to 6CWF and face him because he knows what would happen....Kent reminds us that last year he kicked Lex Hart into touch, proving who the greatest leader of "Genesis" is, and what he'd do to Jackson Black is tenfold...
Max Adamson interrupts now with a huge grin on his face. Max swaggers down to ringside now to remind everyone that he is also heading into the 2024 Hall of Fame. The crowd are chanting Max's name now as we get another huge VT to document Max's incredible career. There is a massive "Thank you, Max" chant ringing all around the arena. Max says he's had one hell of a career but he's not done. And how fitting would it be that at Night of Glory, the two men leading the "Class of 2024" clashed for the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship....Eddy Kent versus Max Adamson....that is, unless you're scared?
Kent smirks now and says Max can try as hard as he likes but he doesn't deserve a shot.....Max laughs that off and reminds Kent that they beat Genesis in WarGames and then 24 hours later he was the man to eliminated Kent from the "Gateway to Glory"....so unless Jackson Black wants to rip up his contract with ROH he can't think of anyone more deserving of a shot....the crowd are fully in agreement with Max's assessment and they want to see it...
Kent looks annoyed but says he will humour Max because he's beaten him before and it's an easy night at Night of Glory....but he doesn't just hand out shots for nothing.....so seeing as though Genesis are running the show next week.....it'll be Max and a partner of his choosing versus Genesis....all of them....and if they win, he can face Kent for the title...
Max nods his head and he thanks Kent for "being so stupid"....he reminds Kent and plays mind games now by saying "So you're going to team with MY nephew next week....the man you screwed out of the Gateway to Glory....a man who hasn't forgiven you....a man who you took his dream away....MY flesh and blood....and you think he's going to help you?.....I mean hey, I guess Daddy knows best".....Max is laughing now as he leaves the ring. Kent is seething now as Jackson Black watches on with a smile.
*Edward Plague is shown backstage in his "monastery". The 6CW Championship belt is laid out on an altar in front of him. GazzyD enters now. Plague does not look up, his head bowed over the title, but Gazzy has some questions. It seems he is experiencing some doubts and concerns after losing his title at "Day of Reckoning" and that Plague practically sacrificed him in order to win the title for himself.
Plague wants Gazzy to pray with him and he wants to "show you the way". He says it is only natural and even the most enlightened of followers lose the path sometimes. Plague is properly gaslighting Gazzy now as he explains that the 6CW title is a vessel and that whoever from "The Family" possesses it, it belongs to the collective. Plague tells Gazzy that "your sacrifice" is the first step in becoming a saint in their community. Gazzy has taken the first step to becoming an "immortal god" and proved beyond any or all doubt that he believes in their mission and will do whatever it takes to keep the wolves from the door.
He asks Gazzy to "listen now....because they are hounding out there, clawing and scratching at our door....they want to get in, feast on our bounty....take all that belongs to us.....will you allow that to happen, Gareth? Will you allow your own personal and self greed taint and blind you? Because that is what they want....they want you to return to your old ways so that they can take from us....so they can pillage and destroy everything we are building here....I ask you again, Gareth, will you allow that to happen?
Gazzy stares up into Plague's eyes now, tearing his gaze from the title belt, and says "No I will not.....if the wolves want to take what is ours, they will die trying". Edward Plague's evil smile returns now as Gazzy bends a knee in front of him.
*Cobra is interviewed by Tim Allen. Cobra is enjoying being back in 6CWF and although he was disappointed to not win the Gateway to Glory and become 6CW Champion, he has been informed he will be in the FFTR tournament so that is now his focus and he believes that at Night of Glory he will win that briefcase to move within reach of realising the dream he has had since 2009. Allen asks about Jerome Dubois and Cobra admits they are not done, not by a long stretch, after Dubois left him needing stitches when he busted him open at DOR. Cobra says "This is years in the making" and vows that he and Dubois will end their blood saga in the coming weeks but he wants the Frenchmen out of the way before "Night of Glory" because he can afford no distractions in his quest to win FFTR.
*Scott Harris has an icepack on his jaw after Mike Masters' superkick. Harris is being checked over by medical staff but there is no concussion and he is good to go. Clarissa arrives and congratulates Harris on the W but asks about Mike Masters. Harris reiterates what he said earlier tonight. His main focus is winning the FFTR and he is one step closer to making that a reality but Masters is becoming more and more of an issue, like he suspected he would. Harris just doesn't understand Masters' mindset because he says he wants to fight and prove he's better but all he's done so far is sneak attacks and blindsides. If Mike Masters wants a fight then he can have one.

Bout 3
Acer vs James McManus
Acer vs James McManus
*James McManus is out at ringside and it is clear he is in a foul mood following his argument with his wife and the whole of Exodus’ scheme seemingly unravelling around him. McManus is pacing back and forth as he awaits his opponent and the commentators wonder if he is seriously regretting ever getting on board with Alex Walker.
*Acer is met by a hero’s reception when he arrives at the arena. Every single fan is on their feet for the Hall of Famer and be bows toward them in appreciation of their support. He makes his way down to ringside and climbs up inside. He is just through the ropes when McManus drills him with a “knee trembler” to the skull and then drags him to the middle of the ring and executes a sickening death valley driver. The commentators cannot believe what we are seeing but then Acer kicks out on the count of two.
*McManus is already seething as he helps Acer up and hooks his arms for the “River Wensum Plunge” but Acer counters with a backdrop and then springboards off the ropes and drills a knee into McManus’ face as he gets up. He makes the cover but McManus shows guts to keep the fight going.
*Acer punishes his foe with big punches to the body and then pulls him away from the ropes into a crunching back suplex driver, really dumping McManus on the side of his neck. Acer points up top and the crowd are right behind him as he scales the heights and prepares for the shooting star knee drop but finds nothing except canvass. McManus is back on his feet now and he connects with a half nelson suplex before he drags Acer back up and scores with the “River Wensum Plunge”. McManus lets out a shout of frustration and makes the cover but Acer is again able to throw his shoulder off the mat.
*We get a split screen of JJ Johnson/The Saint watch the match and then Alex Walker, Fanatic & Jenny (CJ nowhere to be seen). McManus ushers Acer up and wants the “tombstone” but Acer falls off the back an spins McManus around into a reverse STO for a near fall. Acer is out on the apron now and waits McManus to stand before catapulting through the ropes for the “Rogue” spear but McManus catches him in mid-jump and ploughs him with a DDT. He then grabs Acer’s legs and applies a figure four. He has the hold locked in for a good minute and a half before Acer is able to drag himself to the ropes and force the break.
*McManus heads up top now and waits for Acer to rise before jumping into a crossbody. Acer moves and McManus lands hard. It is clear McManus has exacerbated the ankle injury sustained at DOR and seems in some discomfort. He staggers up and Acer nails a t-bone suplex and follows up with a standing shooting star press for a two.
*Acer looks to suplex McManus up but he floats over the back and shoves his foe to the corner. He follows in but eats two big knees to the face that stagger him back. Acer runs out for a spear but McManus leapfrogs over him, injuring his ankle again as he lands. McManus shoves the referee away when he tries to check on him and then turns around into a pop-up powerbomb for a near fall.
*The commentators commend McManus’ bravery but think it likely that he is harming his own health by continuing. Acer is out on the apron again and this time he wows the audience with an attempted springboard shooting star press but lands flush on the knees of McManus. It takes McManus awhile to get back up due to his ankle but he does manage to flip Acer up and drill him with a powerbomb before laying on top (ala Gunther). Acer again kicks out.
*McManus is red in the face as he hobbles from the ring and grabs a steel chair before heading back. He fights with the referee as the official tugs the chair away from him and refuses to let him use it. McManus spits at the official’s feet and then turns around into a huge spear. Acer rolls through the impact and locks his legs around McManus’ injured leg, applying a sickening crucifix style leglock. McManus has no choice but to tap out and hand Acer a return victory.
*Acer is happy with the victory and raises an arm to the audience. The referee is trying to check on McManus and the condition of his ankle but the PK member just shoves him away and refuses any kind of treatment. Acer is turning in all directions now with his arms open wide, as though waiting for Clarke James to spring an attack of some kind. CJ is not forthcoming as Acer beckons the camera close and we hear him say “Don’t disappoint me now, Clarke…..I’m bringing the fight right to you”.
*The commentators talk about the challenge laid out at the beginning of the show for Exodus to face The Coalition at Night of Glory but RJ is unsure that we can wait until May for this to reach a head, there is far too much emotion involved and too much at stake. JT is predicting a twist or two in the coming weeks.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*Geoff Steel is talking to Clarissa about his disappointment in coming up just short during the "Gateway to Glory". Geoff admits it has been an inconsistent year with some highs and a few lows but he is more determined that ever to ensure he ends the 12 months on top at "Night of Glory". Steel talks about FFTR and tonight against Jerome Dubois. Steel knows how big this tournament is and the how high the stakes are so now all focus is on this. It's all in and tunnel vision because he cannot afford to look elsewhere.
*Jerome Dubois is watching Cobra's interview from earlier and he spits on the floor in disgust. Jerome Dubois "hates" Cobra and after he takes out Geoff Steel tonight he is vowing to cut the head off the snake and end him once and for all.
*We get another hype video for the "Return of Xtreme" before we see Mike Hill in the locker-room. Hill is disappointed and jaded after another loss. Hill is looking down at his kitbag and we hear him say "Maybe it's time I returned to my roots". He picks the bag up and slings it over his shoulder before heading for the exit.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
Bout 4
Fight for the Right
Geoff Steel vs Jerome Dubois
Fight for the Right
Geoff Steel vs Jerome Dubois
*Geoff Steel is welcomed by a wild reception from the 6CWF fans. The commentators remind us of Steel’s exceptional showing during the “Gateway to Glory” but how he came up short once more, a recurring theme in the last 12 months. JT is backing Steel to turn his fortunes around and win the “Fight for the Right”. He is adamant that Steel leaves Night of Glory IX as a champion.
*Jerome Dubois has all the usual bravado and fanfare for his entrance. He twirls in his elaborate robe before strutting to ringside. We get a recap on his ongoing feud with the returning Cobra and Dubois’ proclamation that he will have a big role at “Night of Glory”. The commentators believe Dubois would be a very dangerous entity indeed with the FFTR briefcase. But can he concentrate on the task at hand with Cobra’s shadow looming large?
*Dubois is running his mouth as he stands across from Geoff Steel and then the bell sounds to get us underway. They circle for the lockup and Steel quickly steps in and tries to scoop Dubois on his shoulders. Dubs elbows his way free and lights Steel up with harsh chops to the chest before scoop slamming him and landing an elbow drop for a two count.
*Dubois tries to flip Steel for the “Garlic Bomb” but Steel lands out on his feet and nails a headbutt. Dubois falls into the ropes and comes forward again with a clothesline (ala Jon Moxley) but Steel dodges it and rattles off a release full nelson slam for a two. Steel lands big punches now and whips Dubois off the ropes. He looks for a tilt-a-whirl but the Frenchmen lands out and pokes Steel in the eyes before raking his back and nails a piledriver for a two.
*Dubois takes a knee and sprints from the corner for the “French Connection” spear but is spun into a huge powerslam for a two. Steel blocks a punch and rams a knee into Dubois’ gut before pumphandling him. Dubs kicks off the back and falls into the ropes before returning with the spear, nailing it this time but Steel kicks out.
*Dubs looks for the “Culture Shock” but Steel drops out and counters into a backslide for a two. Dubois is up with a harsh kick to the midsection and then “Garlic Bomb” attempt but Steel lands on his feet and nails an uranage backbreaker. Steel heads for the corner now and it’s bombs away with the flying headbutt to the chest. The commentators anticipate a three but Dubs somehow finds the ropes with his boot.
*Steel responds to the roar of the crowd and he wants the “Bladecutter” but Dubois swipes his legs and applies a single-legged Boston crab. Steel is forced to endure the agony but shows his mettle to drag himself over and seize the ropes. Dubois attacks the back and legs until the referee intervenes and warns him. Dubois sets for the “Go Flasher” now but Steel floats over the back and shoves the Frenchmen into the turnbuckle before scooping him up in a torture rack and spinning him out in a devastating slam for a two count.
*Steel is heading for the ropes again but Dubois is able to get up in time to swipe his legs. Dubs is up on the turnbuckle now and he delivers a big time superplex. He has an arrogant smile on his face but that soon disappears when Steel is able to get a shoulder off the canvass. Dubois is incensed as he drags Steel up now and this time he is successful with the “Garlic Bomb” but Steel kicks out again.
*Dubois looks as though he may flip and assault the official and has to calm himself down. He looks for the sharpshooter now but Steel succeeds in kicking him away to the corner. Dubs runs back out but Steel demonstrates his immense strength to tilt-a-whirl Dubois onto his shoulders and runs him into a huge powerslam now but only manages to get a two.
*Steel signals for the “Attitude Adjustment” but Dubois rakes at his eyes and then spins him around into the “Au Revoir” (Sit out side slam). The commentators commend a fantastic battle but Dubois looks ready to lose it as Steel is too close to the ropes and is able to grab them with his left hand. Dubois shoves the official now but the referee stands his ground and is insistent that not only was it a valid ropebreak but he will also DQ Dubois if he touches him again.
*Dubois heads for the corner now when Cobra’s music hits. Dubois is frozen on the top rope but Cobra is nowhere to be seen. Steel is able to get up and he knocks Dubois’ legs out from under him and crotches him on the top rope. Steel clambers up now and scoops Dubois on his shoulders before delivering a huge “AA” from on high. Steel hooks both legs and gets the three, much to the crowd’s delight. Geoff Steel will advance to the Quarter Finals of the FFTR.
*Steel rolls from the ring to celebrate with the audience as the commentators hype the match and talk about Cobra costing Dubois his place in the tournament. The crowd are going wild now as the huge Mexican walks through them and hops the barrier. Jerome Dubois has stumbled to his feet, unaware of Cobra’s presence, and is again blaming the referee for what has happened. Cobra takes a light-tube from under the ring now and he returns the favour from the “Gateway to Glory” by spinning Dubois around and shattering the weapon over the top of his head. RJ says “These two men are on a collision course, of that there can be no doubt whatsoever”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*O' Callaghan is back and full of bravado. OC says this is the "Return of the Mack and he is not leaving 6CWF without being world champion. This isn't about unfulfilled potential anymore. This is about proving he is the greatest talent in the world today and that starts tonight in his first match back when he takes the W against the reigning European Champion. OC isn't waiting around. He is heading straight to the top. He then conducts the audience as they can be heard humming his theme music.
*Huge crowd reaction for the "Dublin Destroyer" Dicey Reilly. Dicey is looking to build off of War Games and ensure that he achieves something huge at "Night of Glory IX". Dicey knows the world believe he is on a collision course with Daniel Reilly but Dicey's focus is on the FFTR tournament and next week's match against Robin Reborn. Dicey would love to be world champion again and beating Reborn is the first step to making that come true.
As for tonight, Dicey is well on board with being the special referee. He promises to call it straight down the middle and then does an impression of drawing a straight line (it is way off) as he says he has no allegiance or issue with either competitor (raised eyebrows all around) so why would he doing anything unprofessional?
*There is a blazing argument going on between James and Jenny McManus. James is unhappy for several reasons. Jenny doesn't accompany him to ringside anymore. She left Las Vegas last week with Alex Walker whilst he was getting his a55 handed to him by The Coalition. Jenny shuts her husband down and says he needs to "man up". She worked to get her husband this opportunity with Exodus and he should be a little more grateful. James Mc is less than enamoured with his wife's tone and wants to know what the deal is with Walker. She just shakes her head at him and walks off. McManus punches the wall. Clarke James is watching and doesn't look happy at what he is witnessing.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
Bout 5
Daniel Reilly vs O’Callaghan
Special Referee: Dicey Reilly
Daniel Reilly vs O’Callaghan
Special Referee: Dicey Reilly
*We have a recap on O’Callaghan’s return at the “Gateway to Glory” which is followed by clips from Dicey eliminating Daniel Reilly from the match. The commentators are talking about the long-term issues between the two 6CW Originals as Dicey is making his way to ringside in his referee’s jersey. This call for Dicey to be the ref was made by JJ Johnson post-Day of Reckoning in order to “stir things up a little”. Dicey rolls into the ring and raises an arm to the audience as we are reminded that he also had an issue or two with O’Callaghan when he first arrived in 6CW.
*OC is given a huge ovation and the crowd (as usual) are humming his theme tune as he makes his way to ringside, displaying his usual bravado. He removes his coat and stands in front of Dicey with a cocky grin on his face. The two Irishmen exchange words before Daniel Reilly then makes his entrance.
*The European Champion takes his time to come to ringside and all around the ring itself, refusing Dicey’s order to get inside. Reilly turns to the audience now and he is holding up his title belt as O’Callaghan comes diving through the ropes and wipes him out on the arena floor with a devastating suicide dive. O’Callaghan has plenty of trash talk for his opponent as he pulls him up and launches him into the ring.
*OC beckons Reilly up as he catapults himself over the ropes and twirls into a leaping heel kick to the jaw. Reilly stumbles back up and O’Callaghan lifts him into a back suplex position but then swings him, throat first, against the top rope and then pulls him into a snap dragon suplex. The commentators are talking about OC’s unfulfilled potential and how this return to the company will be seen as his big shot at the big time.
*OC bounces back against the ropes and comes forward with a driving knee to his seated opponent’s head (ala Johnny Nitro) but Reilly ducks under and he rolls his foe up for a two count. They scramble up and Reilly dodges a clothesline and nails a neckbreaker before heading to the corner and nails a frogsplash from on high. Dicey counts a two before OC kicks out. Reilly is up now and in Dicey’s face. Dicey is almost begging Reilly to swing at him but the champion thinks better and turns away.
*OC uses Reilly’s forward momentum to lift him up and flapjack him off the top turnbuckle. Reilly remains slumped there as O’Callaghan circles around and then runs over with a fantastic top-rope style 6!9. Reilly is kicked backward into a roll and ends up on his knees. O’Callaghan then nails the running knee to the mouth for a two count. OC and Dicey have a glare at one another now but then OC just grins and walks away.
*OC beckons Reilly up and tries to lift him into a sidewalk backbreaker but Reilly spins out. He kicks OC in the gut and flips him for a fallout neckbreaker but then O’Callaghan swivels on the shoulders and nails a poisonrana takedown. Reilly stumbles back up and OC runs into him to nail a front-flip DDT for another two. OC sits there for a moment as the crowd applaud him and chant his name. JT believes this is the best we have seen of the “Golden One” for quite some time.
*OC stalks now and tries to snap on a coquina clutch but Reilly drops and rolls to throw him off. They get back up and Reilly backdrops O’Callaghan over the top onto the apron. OC tries to nail a quick shoulder thrust through the middle but Reilly catches his head and drills him with a hangman’s DDT off the ropes. Dicey comes around and (advertently or inadvertently you decide) knocks OC’s feet toward the ropes….he points this out to Reilly and the European champ has to drag O’Callaghan away (wasting seconds) before covering. OC manages to kick out.
*We have another stand-off now between Dicey and Reilly. Reilly is prodding at Dicey’s chest now but that allows OC to roll him up from behind and gain a very near fall. They get back up and OC tries to leapfrog over Reilly but the European Champion shows great skill to catch him in midair and turn his body to drop OC into a fallout neckbreaker. Reilly is on the hunt now and he sets for the “RKO” but O’Callaghan blocks and shoves him into Dicey, sending the referee into the corner. Reilly turns back around and O’Callaghan lifts him onto his shoulders and flips him out into a backbreaker across his knee.
*Reilly is sat upright on the canvass as OC twists from the corner into a corkscrew elbow strike to the head (ala Will Osprey). He makes the cover as Dicey comes over and counts but Reilly just manages to kick out in time. O’Callaghan heads for the corner now and he’s up top for the 360 splash but Reilly moves at the final second. OC is winded as he stumbles up and he walks straight into the RKO. Reilly covers but Dicey won’t make the count. Dicey is saying Reilly attacked him (citing the head clash from earlier). Reilly is enraged now as he stands up and he shoves Dicey in the chest. Dicey is grinning now as he swings a punch but Reilly ducks it and he nails Dicey with an RKO now in the middle of the ring.
*Reilly is glaring at Dicey with pure dislike before turning his attention back to O’Callaghan. He drags OC up and looks for a suplex but O’Callaghan counters it into a stunner (StunDog Millionaire). The crowd applaud as O’Callaghan goes high now and he is successful with the 360 splash from on high. He then grabs Reilly’s legs and turns him over into the sharpshooter. Reilly is yelling in pain but refuses to tap. He drags himself over to the ropes and grabs at the bottom. Dicey comes to and he immediately signals for the bell and he is indicating that Reilly tapped out (even though he really never).
*OC raises his own arms and he shoots a smirk at Dicey before leaving the ring to celebrate his first win back in 6CWF. Reilly is using the ropes to drag himself up and it is clear that he is furious with what has just happened but then he turns around and takes an almighty “Craicdown” in the middle of the ring, sparking a huge round of cheers from the audience. Dicey kneels over Reilly now and then he gets the European Championship and throws it over the champion. JT says “I’m not a betting man but these two are heading straight for a collision”….RJ agrees “Let’s get it on at Night of Glory…I can’t think of a more fitting match at that event than Daniel Reilly vs Dicey Reilly for the European Championship”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*Liam Wood is talking with Emmy ahead of his FFTR first round match. Wood wants to be the world champion again and this is the fastest route. He was disappointed to not leave DOR as 6CW Champion but now all eyes are on "Night of Glory". Wood has big history at this event (not always positive) but it would put the seal on a huge 12 months for him if he left Glasgow with the briefcase. Emmy believes this is Wood's time after finally exorcising his demons. Wood agrees but says "unless I'm due another haunting".
*Rex Adamson and Tyler Roth have finally arrived. Roth is heading to join up with Genesis but Rex wants some alone time ahead of the main event. Max Adamson ends up accosting his nephew and they clash. Max tries to talk with Rex and make him see that Genesis are using him but Rex snaps and tells Max to "leave me the (beep) alone". He's fully aware that Max has somehow politicked his way to another potential world title shot but he'll be damned if he lets his Uncle steal another opportunity away from those who deserve it.
Rex doesn't know if he's Genesis but that doesn't even matter.....because what he does know is that he'll never allow Max to take any title that should belong to him....so next week if he has to team with Genesis again he will do everything in his power to make sure Max loses and finally (beeps) off...
Max looks taken aback as Rex storms off. We then get a shot of Chris Patricks doing his stretches ahead of the main event.
*JJ Johnson is interacting with some of the backstage personnel when he finds himself face to face with Blue Dragon. There is still plenty of tension between the two men and BD wants JJ to know that he hasn't forgotten their issues. JJ tells Dragon that he only has "time for one psychopath right now" but then finds his way barred by Logan Kincade as well....JJ jokes that he feels like he's in an episode of "Mindhunter" with all these "potential serial killers" around...
Johnson tells Dragon that maybe one day they'll sit down and iron out their differences or heck we'll do it in the ring....but right now we've both got (beep) to do, wars to wage and blood to spill.....when all that is said and done, if there's anything left....we'll talk....JJ stares at Dragon and Kincade now and says "But you both know....6CWF and your plans for chaos and domination....they only work with me in charge, so remember that....because if Walker gets control, and the threat you pose to Exodus....Audi 5000 mother(beepers)".....
JJ leaves as Dragon and Kincade exchange a look.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
Bout 6
Fight for the Right
Liam Wood vs The Fanatic
Fight for the Right
Liam Wood vs The Fanatic
*We get a shot of the tournament brackets as we return to ringside and The Fanatic is making his entrance. We get a recap on the failing and issues surrounding Exodus and how they must all be feeling with the return of The Coalition. JT still believes The Fanatic is a serious danger and anyone taking this man lightly should check themselves at the door.
*Liam Wood is met by a huge cheer from the audience now. We get a recap on Wood ending his feud with Engel Harlequin at Day of Reckoning and then JT & RJ talk about what is next for him, especially as some fans were shocked by his violent tendencies at DOR. JT believes Wood has to be considered one of the favourites for this tournament and having the FFTR briefcase would put him as a serious threat to anyone holding championship gold. RJ agrees and notes that Wood, unlike others, has shown he has no qualms with getting the job done at any cost so he won’t hesitate to “cash in” when any champion is at their most vulnerable.
*Fanatic pushes the referee out of the way as he storms forward and swings at Wood. Wood ducks and tees off with forearms and punches to the head. He looks for an Irish whip but Fanatic is able to reverse and send Wood off the ropes. He lowers his head for a backdrop and Wood returns with a running DDT (ala Undertaker). Fanatic’s head snaps the canvass but he’s already staggering up Wood runs the ropes and leaps into a high knee strike to the face. He covers but Fanatic powers out.
*Wood clatters a kick into the side of Fanatic’s head, staggering him into the ropes, and then unloads with more kicks to the legs and body. Fanatic gets his hands up and manages to shove Wood away from him. He rushes out for a clothesline but Wood evades him and then he springs off the ropes and twists back with a discus clothesline takedown. Fanatic gets back up and Wood shows strength to lift him into a “final cut” style suplex for another two count.
*Wood heads up top and he leaps off for an axe handle but eats a massive uppercut. Fanatic quickly whips off the ropes and spins him into a huge side slam for a two. Fanatic looks for a chokeslam but Wood ducks out and staggers away. Fanatic rushes forward but Wood pulls down the ropes and sends him over onto the apron. Wood then runs the opposite side and returns with a diving apron spear that sends both of them crashing onto the arena floor.
*Liam Wood grabs Fanatic and wants to nail a lungblower on the concrete but it is countered into a backdrop that ends up smashing Wood across the top of the steel steps. Fanatic drags Wood up now and runs him forward to launch him over the announce desks, clattering and knocking out a cameraman in the process. Fanatic strides back to the ring and he demands that the referee count Wood out. JT thinks the big man is closing in on the quarter finals of FFTR.
*Wood somehow beats the count on nine and drags himself up on the apron. Fanatic grabs him by the hair and launches him over the top but Wood lands on his feet and runs the opposite ropes, only to return into a brutal boot to the mouth. Fanatic covers but Wood just manages to kick out. Fanatic heads for the corner now and surprises everyone as he climbs up top. Wood is on his feet and he dropkicks the ropes so that the big man falls into a crotched position. Wood then shows immense strength to nail a superplex and transition straight into a falcon arrow (ala Seth Rollins) but Fanatic kicks out.
*Wood looks for the “Psycho Crusher” foot stomp but Fanatic moves. Fanatic looks for a full nelson slam but Wood rolls down into a pinning combo for two. They get back up and Fanatic looks for a black hole slam but Wood spins out behind and nails a tiger suplex for a two count. Wood pulls Fanatic up for the “Manson Driver” but Fanatic swipes his legs and catapults him to the corner. Wood lands on the turnbuckle….Fanatic runs in but Wood drives his heel out into Fanatic’s face to knock him back. Wood then twists off the ropes and plants the big man with a DDT. Wood heads to the top rope and flies through the air with an elbow to the heart. Fanatic kicks out on two.
*Wood drags Fanatic up and looks to whip him off the ropes for the “World Eater” but Fanatic pops out the side and then wraps both hands around Wood’s throat before drilling him with the huge chokebomb. The crowd are stunned and everyone believes he has won the tie but Wood’s resilience is on show as he gets his shoulder up off the canvass. Fanatic looks annoyed as he towers over the referee but the official tells him it was a definite two.
*Fanatic grabs Wood by the head now and drags him up for the “Total Elimination” powerbomb but Wood slams forearms down into his face before he manages to jump out the back. Wood stumbles to the corner as Fanatic runs in and looks for a huge splash but Wood throws himself aside. Fanatic hits the turnbuckle and staggers back around into the “Manson Driver”. The big man is on his knees now as Wood runs the ropes and then destroys him with the “Psycho Crusher” for the three count. Wood is advancing into the quarter finals and will face Geoff Steel.
*We get a shot of Clarke James watching from backstage, his dark eyes unblinking. He turns away from the monitors and it is clear that he is very disappointed with yet another PK failure.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*Another huge crowd reaction as Enforcer is in the building. The former world champion looks in tremendous shape as he stops for an interview with Jack Reynolds. Enforcer admits a little nervousness but he knows he can still go and tonight he wants to show the world. Reynolds asks about Enforcer's goals and plans but Enforcer is open to what the future holds. This is a great roster but he believes he can put himself in a great position by time we get to "Night of Glory", starting with a big W tonight against Genesis.
Anthony Grace now walks into shot and there is plenty of bristling tension between the former rivals. Grace doubles down on the "7 years" since their issues and that a lot has changed since then, for both men. Grace wants their concentration to be on tonight and Genesis because anyone who takes Genesis lightly ends up paying a very steep price. Enforcer agrees that tonight is about Genesis in the opposite corner....but "as for a lot changing in the last seven years....I guess we'll wait and see about that"....Enforcer eyeballs Grace as the scene ends.
*Eddy Kent is joined by Michael Sweetwater & Tyler Roth but Rex still hasn't joined up with them. Kent is clearly frustrated and also concerned by Jackson Black's presence and the impending clash with Max Adamson next week at Proving Grounds. Kent is still very much using "I" and "Me" a lot as he talks about Genesis needing to make a stand and bounce back from disappointments. Has Michael Sweetwater received medical clearance? They are still waiting to hear from the doctor with the match just moments away otherwise Kent will need to team with Roth and "I need to save energy for next week"....Roth (who has been travelling with Rex) tells Kent that Rex just needs to know that Genesis have his back. Kent is left scratching his chin and then he smiles as the scene ends.
*Jenny McManus moves quickly (was she sat on Walker's lap?) as Clarke James pushes his way into the office. CJ is telling Walker (not asking) that his concerns surrounding PK's ability to execute Exodus' plans are growing exponentially. Walker seems distracted but tries to fight PK's corner. CJ says he needs proof and he needs it next week. Walker asks what he is suggesting....CJ says Parasite Killers vs Acer/The Saint next week....PK need to show him something.....and if they don't.....then he will take matters into his own hands. CJ leaves as Jenny & Walker stare at each other.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
Bout 7
Anthony Grace/Enforcer vs Genesis
Anthony Grace/Enforcer vs Genesis
*There is big hype for the upcoming tag team match. “Numb” hits and it looks like Michael Sweetwater has received his clearance and will be competing. Tyler Roth is by his side and the MMA mauler looks ready to cause some serious damage. The commentators are talking about the conflict between Max & Kent from earlier in the night and how Eddy Kent’s mind is seriously preoccupied. We then see Jackson Black sitting ringside. Tyler Roth stands and glares at the former Genesis member whilst Michael Sweetwater pays him no attention as he strides up into the ring. JT believes Sweetwater is still torn after a big alliance with Black in the early days and Genesis have never truly got over Black’s “defection and betrayal”.
*Anthony Grace is given a huge reaction from the crowd as he makes his entrance. Grace is a confirmed combatant in the FFTR tournament but tonight he must attempt to build on his momentum from beating Reborn at Day of Reckoning. Grace circles the ring and pulls himself up on the apron, his eyes travelling to the “Night of Glory” sign up in the rafters.
*It is a standing ovation for the in-ring return of Enforcer. The roof is almost blown off as the former 6WF & 6CW World Champion strides onto the stage. He nods his head in appreciation of the support he is being shown as he makes his way down to ringside. He is up on the apron now and there is a long staredown between himself and Anthony Grace. The commentators remind us of the history between the two men from 2017. Enforcer was the General Manager and stopped Grace from bending the rules to become world champion. Grace retaliated by getting Enforcer fired from his job. RJ wonders if the two men can co-exist because clearly neither of them have forgotten what went down. Sweetwater is smirking at the animosity as he whispers into Roth’s ear.
*Roth and Enforcer start the contest off. They circle and then lockup. Roth shows his power to launch E across the canvass and then he mocks him. He beckons him up again and they square off before Roth throws Enforcer into the ropes with so much force that he falls to his knees. Roth is laughing now and telling Enforcer he shouldn’t have come back. They tee off for a third time and Roth launches Enforcer into the corner and charges in for a clothesline but Enforcer moves and sends his opponent against the turnbuckle. Enforcer runs off the adjacent ropes and returns with a leaping shoulder block which takes Roth off his feet. He beckons Roth back up and nails a scooped slam before ushering him up for a third time and dodges a wild right hand before scooping him into a huge back suplex. Roth kicks out on one. The commentators are talking up how fantastic Enforcer looks.
*Enforcer drags Roth up and drives a knee in his gut before attempting a jackhammer. Roth is able to drop over the shoulder and shoves Enforcer off the ropes before body pressing him as he comes back. Enforcer leaps out and lands on his feet. Roth runs forward but Big E pulls down the ropes and sends him over onto the apron. Enforcer then shows great athleticism to spring onto the turnbuckle and leap back with a lariat to the throat which sends Roth crashing to the arena floor. Enforcer turns and works the crowd as Anthony Grace smirks. The two men lock eyes once more.
*Roth gets back on the apron as Enforcer makes his way over. Roth grabs Big E’s head and guillotines him across the top. He then flips over the ropes for a buckshot lariat but Enforcer ducks it and runs the ropes before returning with a crunching crossbody block. He drags Roth up now and explodes with the jackhammer but Sweetwater rushes in and stomps on the pinfall. The referee backs Sweetwater away as Enforcer glares at him.
*Enforcer has eyes locked back on Roth now and tears from the corner for the “Facecheck” but jumps straight into Roth’s arms and is immediately drilled by an inverted STO (ala Baron Corbin)…..Roth looks angry as he drags Enforcer up now and flips him into a devastating sit-down powerbomb for a two count. Roth drags E up and chucks him to the corner before destroying him with brutal knees and punches to the body. He sits Enforcer up on the turnbuckle and prepares to lift him into the “Hangman” (Shell Shock Muscle Buster) but E slams his head down into the top of Roth’s until he staggers away. Enforcer then shows amazing presence to stand tall and turn on his heel before moonsaulting off into a takedown for a two count.
*Grace wants the tag and Enforcer looks unsure but he slaps Grace’s hand. Grace beckons Roth up and ducks a right hand before lifting him into an atomic drop. Roth staggers into the corner and Grace nails him with a clothesline. He climbs on the ropes and delivers a ten punch combo but Roth seizes him on six and walks out to drill him with a variation of the “Hangman”…..Grace is flat on his back and Roth covers but the “A-Lister” manages to kick out. Roth offers a tag to Sweetwater.
*Sweetwater stomps all over Grace now and shows off his violent tendencies as he drops and chokes him until the referee intervenes. Sweetwater runs into the corner and nails a splash before lifting Grace up and body slamming him to the mat. Sweetwater thinks Grace is already done and heads up high. He leaps for the “Six Feet Deep” foot stomp but Grace moves. Sweety forward rolls onto his feet and then sprints forward but Grace intercepts him with an overhead belly to belly suplex into the turnbuckle. Sweetwater rolls toward the centre ring as Grace lifts himself onto the second rope and comes off with a legdrop for a two count.
*Grace signals for the “Blockbuster” kick as Roth runs across the apron. Grace senses him coming and uses his momentum to smash him into the ringpost and send him off the apron to the floor below. He then twirls out for the roundhouse kick but Sweetwater just avoids it and then plants his head into Grace’s gut before drilling him with a pulling piledriver. He makes the cover but Grace just manages to get his shoulder off the canvass. Sweetwater circles Grace now and then drags him for the ”Sleep with the fishes” (fisherman suplex) but Grace shoves him away. Roth makes the blind tag. Sweetwater runs forward for a clothesline but Grace avoids it and kicks him in the stomach. He sets for the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er) when Tyler Roth clatters him from behind and then drills him with a pumphandle front facebuster for a nearfall.
*Roth has plenty of trash talk for Enforcer before he pummels Grace on the mat. Roth then beckons Grace up and looks for a springboard knee smash but Grace ducks underneath it. Grace runs the ropes for momentum but returns into a huge AA spinebuster. Roth is heading for the corner now (surprisingly) and he twirls off into a corkscrew elbow but misses, landing in a bad heap. Grace starts crawling across the ring for a tag. Enforcer is staring at him and JT isn’t convinced E will take the tag. Roth gets across and tags Sweetwater as Enforcer swallows his pride and tags in, sparking huge cheers from the audience.
*Sweetwater dodges Enforcer’s attack and runs the ropes before leaping back through the air for a crossbody. Enforcer, however, catches him and spins him around before exploding with a huge fall away slam. Enforcer lets Sweetwater back up and he lifts him into a torture rack….Sweetwater is yelling in pain as the referee asks if he wants to quit. Roth is looking to blindside but Enforcer turns and throws Sweetwater at Roth, knocking him through the ropes to the outside. Sweetwater staggers back around and Enforcer Gorilla presses him into the air before dropping him on his injured ribs. Enforcer then runs the ropes and returns with a Warrior splash (who says I can’t pay homage to Trash TV). He covers but Tyler Roth drags him under the ropes to the outside. Roth smashes Enforcer into the steel steps before launching him back into the ring and giving chase.
*Roth scares the referee away and then springboards off the ropes and detonates a huge knee under Enforcer’s chin. Enforcer is groggy as Roth positions behind him for “The Reaping” (Back suplex into a powerbomb) but Enforcer backflips out onto his feet. Roth spins around and charges forward but Enforcer is pushed out of the firing line by Anthony Grace. Roth clatters the turnbuckle as Enforcer glares at Grace. Grace then nails the “Blockbuster” kick to send Roth to the outside of the ring. The referee is now telling Grace he needs to leave the ring as Enforcer continues to stare at him. Michael Sweetwater has donned brass knucks now (unbeknown to everyone) and he waits for Enforcer to come forward before swinging at him but Big E ducks the shot and runs the ropes before exploding back with the “Facecheck”. Enforcer drops to his knees and makes the pin for the three and the W.
*Grace is back in the ring now as the referee declares them victorious and raises their arms. Enforcer and Grace continue to look at one another and the uneasy alliance is clearly playing on the mind of both. Tyler Roth is up on the outside and looks annoyed as he boots a steel chair across the floor and then stares at Jackson Black. Roth is pointing at Black and draws his finger across his throat but Black seems unperturbed and merely smiles as security make sure to block Roth’s path. Roth turns and drags Sweetwater from the ring now. JT believes Genesis may be on the verge of implosion unless Eddy Kent can steer them through these very murky waters. The talk now turns to what is coming for Anthony Grace and Enforcer. Grace is set for the FFTR next week against Daniel Reilly whereas Enforcer may have to cut his own path toward “Night of Glory”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*Max Adamson visits Chris Patricks ahead of the main event. Patricks is ready for war and he tells Max to "Save it if you're going to ask me to go easy on that little (beep)".....but Max wants Patricks to go all out and if he can remove any member of Genesis before next week then all the better. Patricks wants Max to know he's got his back, always, and he will gladly team with Max next week at Proving Grounds to ensure he gets that title shot. CP then jokes that he will win the FFTR and cash it on Max the moment he wins....Max smirks and retorts "And I'd still beat you" as the scene ends.
*Robin Reborn is on the mic with Tim Allen and talking trash. Reborn says it's a disgrace that he is scheduled to compete next week when 6CWF know he doesn't work weekly events. TA tries to remind Reborn that if he doesn't compete then he's out of the FFTR tournament but that only riles Reborn up more. He believes he should be automatically guaranteed a main event slice at Night of Glory and he's back to blaming JJ Johnson (what a coincidence he turns back up and I'm being screwed over)....Reborn says this whole industry is stacked in the favour of the has-beens and never wheres....just like that mother(beeper) right there....
Reborn is pointing as Enforcer has walked back through the curtain after his match. Reborn is scowling at Big E and now they are fronting up. Reborn says Enforcer is just back to steal a pay cheque from the guys busting their a55es every week. Enforcer laughs it off and retorts "I know you don't mean yourself....you're here less than the part timers". Enforcer tells Reborn, however, that if they have a problem and Reborn wants to sort out any differences then all he needs to do is ask because he's got seven years worth of saved up a55 kickings and there's plenty to go around. Reborn and Enforcer are nose to nose as Anthony Grace comes through the curtain now and watches on as two of his former rivals continue to talk trash.
*Daniel Reilly is incensed after his loss to O'Callaghan. All blame is on Dicey Reilly and he says Dicey has always been jealous of him and his abilities. He accuses Dicey of using backstage politics to keep him down in 6CW and now he's back to abusing his influence like he did tonight. But Reilly is promising retribution and that Dicey will not like what happens when he feels the full wrath of the "King of the Streets".

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
Main Event
Fight for the Right
Chris Patricks vs Rex Adamson
Fight for the Right
Chris Patricks vs Rex Adamson
*The crowd are major league hyped for the main event. We get a recap on tonight’s FFTR matches and a shot of the tournament brackets. The commentators then talk about Patricks teaming with Max next week to face Kent/Rex so Max can fight for the world title at Night of Glory as well as the issues between Kent and Rex and the fact they haven’t spoken.
*Rex makes his entrance alone and he shoots a furtive look toward Jackson Black (still sat at ringside) before he leaps up on the apron. Rex is dressed all in black (no Genesis green) as he stretches in the ring and prepares for the arrival of his opponent. Rex is receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd (it is clear some fans are more than won over after Rex’s display at DOR). Chris Patricks then makes a grand entrance to a standing ovation. The former world champion works the crowd and tags hands with the fans before clambering up in the ring. He and Rex glare at one another as we are reminded of the issues between the two men over the last month or so since CP came back. JT then reminds us that Rex Adamson is 7-0 in singles matches against former world champions, beating Patricks tonight would make it eight.
*The referee stands between both men as the audience ramp up the atmosphere. The bell sounds and they circle before locking up. Rex tries to take Patricks’ back but CP leaps in the air and presses his feet against the ropes before pushing himself back so that they both roll across the canvass. Back up and Rex ploughs in with his boot but Patricks catches it and nails a stepover heel kick. Patricks springs off the ropes and lands a legdrop for a two count.
*Patricks beckons Rex up and looks for another springboard but Rex catches him in a powerbomb position. He runs him to the ropes but Patricks counters with a headscissors which takes them both over the top and crashing to the arena floor. Patricks staggers up and he springs off the apron now and looks to plant Rex on the concrete with a tornado DDT but Rex catches him and just launches him over the railings into the crowd. Rex breaks the count and then looks to suplex CP back onto the arena floor but Patricks drops down and jawbreakers him across the railing. Rex stumbles back toward the apron as Patricks uses the barrier to catapult himself into the air into a devastating shining wizard that crushes Rex against the apron. Patricks rolls Rex in and covers him but Rex manages to kick out.
*Patricks heads for the corner and is clearly considering the “Puzzle Solver” but Rex is getting up so he leaps into a missile dropkick takedown instead. CP then looks for “rolling thunder” but lands across the knees of Rex. Rex is up now and he gutwrenches Patricks off the floor and spins him around into a face-first slam on the canvass for a two count. Rex rolls out on the apron and he waits for Patricks to stand before launching himself over the top for a shoulder tackle but Patricks nails a midair enzeguiri. CP follows up with a standing moonsault for a two count. A “this is awesome” chant is echoing all around.
*Patricks runs the ropes for a destroyer but runs back into an Alabama slam counter. Rex runs the ropes and returns with a brutal discus clothesline but CP kicks out. Rex is out on the apron again now and he slingshots himself through the ropes into a shotgun dropkick which sends Patricks crashing into a seated position in the corner. Rex follows up with a crunching cannonball splash before he drags Patricks away from the ropes and scores with a giant imploding splash (ala Jack Swagger) off the turnbuckle for a close call. Rex sits for a moment and stares at the referee but the official is adamant it was a definite two count.
*Rex tries to apply a stretch muffler but Patricks turns his body and kicks out repeatedly until Rex staggers back to the corner. CP charges in for a corner wizard but Rex catches him and runs out before dropping backwards and splattering Patricks on his face with an inverted powerbomb. Rex ushers Patricks back up now and lifts him into an electric chair before dropping him into a bridged German suplex (Croyt’s Wrath). Patricks only just manages to kick out. Rex is heading for the corner now and he walks along the ropes toward the middle as Patricks gets up and springs up to meet him with a mesmeric hurricanrana off the ropes. Rex stumbles back to his feet as Patricks plants him with the ”Enigma Bomb”. The fans are on their feet to celebrate but Rex throws his shoulder up off the canvass.
*Patricks pulls Rex up but is shoved back into the corner. Rex chases in but Patricks spins around the ropes and nails a kick over the top (ala Christian). Rex staggers as CP goes up high and leaps into a crossbody. Rex rolls through with Patricks in his arms and stands up and then swings him into a release uranage (ala Umaga). CP is on his knees as Rex drags him into a front facelock and suplexes him into the air and releases him at the top before catching with a devastating lungblower on the way down. He hooks both legs but Patricks finds a way to kickout. Rex is up in the referee’s face now and cannot quite believe that didn’t pull it off.
*Rex sets for the “Gore” now but Patricks leapfrogs and sends him into the corner. Patricks then springs off the ropes and nails a spiral DDT. He drags Rex toward the corner and scores with a split-legged moonsault but Rex pops his shoulder at the last second. Patricks pulls Rex up and looks for a brainbuster but Rex floats over the back and shoves him off the ropes. CP springs onto the ropes and moonsaults back but Rex sidesteps. Patricks lands on his feet but wobbles as Rex rips through him with the devastating “Gore”. He covers but Patricks finds the ropes. Rex cannot believe it.
*Rex heads for the corner now and wants the “Lo Down” but Patricks is up and springs onto ropes and dives across with a dropkick which sits Rex down on the turnbuckle. CP clambers up top now and hits a top rope brainbuster. He covers but Rex is too close to the ropes and is able to get his foot on the ropes to break the count. Patricks thinks his opponent is weak enough now and heads up top for the “Puzzle Solver” but lands across the knees of Rex.
*Rex staggers up and looks to ripcord CP into a “rainmaker” but Patricks ducks it and springs off the ropes for a headscissors but Rex catches him and shows immense power to launch CP back into the air and nails a Samoan drop as he comes back down for a two count. Rex pulls the straps down now on his singlet. He looks for the “Fire/Thunder Driver” but Patricks kicks his legs and lands off the back. He shoves Rex off the ropes and leaps for a dragonrana on the comeback but Rex catches him and smashes him down with a release powerbomb. Rex then stuns the crowd as he runs into a handspring off the ropes and twists back into a corkscrew splash for a two.
*The fans are on their feet and applauding the incredible match that we are watching here between both men. Rex stalks again and looks for another electric chair lift but CP counters with a poisonrana. Rex stumbles back up on a knee as Patricks drills him with a superkick but Rex kicks out. The commentators are waxing lyrical about “one of the best TV matches in history”. Patricks wipes sweat from his brow as he beckons Rex up and springs off the ropes with a martial arts kick (ala RVD) before scoring with “rolling thunder” but Rex kicks out. CP ushers Rex back up and looks for another “Enigma Bomb” but Rex kicks Patricks in the gut and scoops him for the “Fire/Thunder Driver” only for CP to battle off the back and shoves Rex into the referee, knocking him down.
*Rex turns back around now and he eats a huge spinning heel kick. Patricks nails the “Puzzle Solver” from on high but there’s no referee to make the count. Here comes Michael Sweetwater and Tyler Roth. Patricks catapults himself over the ropes to take out Sweetwater with a crossbody on the outside in the aisleway but Tyler Roth then brutalises him with a thunderous knee to the gut and launches him at the ringpost. Roth has bad intentions for Patricks now until Max Adamson rips through him with a giant spear, sparking cheers all around the arena. Max gives Patricks the thumbs up as CP grabs a steel chair and clambers up the ropes. Michael Sweetwater is back up now and looks to attack Max but he dodges it and scoops him up. He then nails a “Cyclone” by throwing Sweetwater against the ringpost.
*Whilst this is ongoing Patricks leaps from the top rope for the “Arabian Facebuster” but Eddy Kent pulls Rex out of the ring, causing Patricks to land in a heap. Kent stares at Rex and nods at him as Rex returns the gesture. Kent then rushes around the ring and blasts Max with the “Genesis Kick” as Max is turning around. Rex is back in the ring now and he plants the chair on the canvass before drilling Patricks into it with the “Fire/Thunder Driver”. The referee recovers enough to make the three count. Rex is heading for the Quarter Finals off a huge assist from Eddy Kent and Genesis. Kent is in the ring now and he raises Rex’s arm. It seems Genesis are back on the same page. Kent is all smiles as he stares straight at Jackson Black (who still hasn’t engaged physically). The commentators talk about how a clear message has been sent by Genesis ahead of the huge tag team match next week. They are looking far more fluent than they did at Day of Reckoning. Does this spell disaster for Max Adamson and Chris Patricks?

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday March 18th (Episode 27)
*Backstage and Clarke James has donned the "Scarecrow" mask as he enters the shadows out back. A black van has pulled up and the door slides open. CJ climbs inside and he takes a seat on one side as he stares across at two hooded men on the opposite side. Clarke asks the men if they are ready to unleash hell upon the company who have forgotten them.
*We are now back at ringside as Edward Plague is here to deliver his "First Sermon" as the brand new 6CW World Champion. An altar and a lectern have been set up in the ring as Plague makes his way to ringside with GazzyD now back by his side. The commentators remind us that Gazzy seems to have accepted Plague's reasoning for why he took the world championship from him at Day of Reckoning but nobody except Gazzy is convinced by Plague's motives.Plague:
You still fail to understand the messages that I teach...but you'll have time.
Now that I am your champion...your eyes are forced upon me and slowly but surely they will see the truth. They will be opened to my message and for the lucky few, you will be saved by Edward Plague...
...your hero.
Plague laughs again as the fans boo himPlague:
but you see...instead of being happy that you have someone to look up to...you want to belittle my achievements and throw false claims at my feet.
You want to claim that I betrayed my brother Gareth...
...that I took what was his...
...that i am a traitor.
Plague's tone changes to a much more serious one as he looks down at the beltPlague:
I am not traitor...
...I am a leader...
...I am a teacher...
...everything I have done, every chapter of my story has been to teach those around me valuable lessons...
Plague pauses, his eyes still locked on the title belt before he casts a look at GazzyPlague:
Gareth...
...I know you understand my actions...I know that you understand why I do the things I do but I must spell it out to the non believers who want to make this in to something it never was and never will be.
They look at what happened at Day Of Reckoning and they foolishly believe that I turned my back on you to become the 6CW Champion myself but this was always meant to happen...I was always here to teach you lessons that will free you from the web this world has weaved for you.
Plague pauses again, a small smile crosses his facePlague:
Our first chapter was rebirth and I brought you back from the dead...I ripped your eyes open and made you see the truth in this world...I brought back the Gareth that had been trapped in the void for far too long
Our second chapter was revenge...I helped you avenge the actions of the hollow hero Uryu Ishida, I helped you take away his smile and put him in purgatory where he belongs and we took what was rightfully OURS!
Our final chapter was reign and we placed the 6CW Title in our home and I showed that you were still the same Gazzy D that conquered worlds before but now your actions has purpose...your actions helped bring the eyes of the world to our door...
...but you are more than this...
...and that is why for our newest chapter...we find realisation.
Plague pauses, picking up the 6CW Title and placing it on his lap. Almost distracted for a second before speaking againPlague:
A realisation that Gazzy D is more than a champion and that a belt does not define his worth. A belt that belongs to him through the fact that we won it for OUR family. A realisation that the eyes of the world should be on the head of this family...the leader who has shown that he can change the world with his actions.
Gazzy D may not be a champion in name anymore but his sacrifices will not be forgotten as I continue to spread the word of our family...Gazzy D will always be remembered as the man who brought my championship home and the man who helped keep it here when the monsters were at the door...
Gazzy D will always be known as the man who was saved and repayed that in kind as he made the ultimate sacrifice...bringing this title to where it truly belongs.
Plague pauses one last time, getting up to his feet and placing the 6CW Title on his shoulderPlague:
I said that my family would unleash a reign of terror in to this world and that your eyes would be forced to watch...
Chapter four...realisation.
Plague speaks with a very serious tonePlague:
The realisation that no matter who you cheer for that Edward Plague is the person who you must call champion. The realisation that the man you cast out in to the darkness found a light that lead him back to here...the realisation that he cannot be stopped...
The realisation that all hope is lost...
...the realisation that the truth is right in front of you...
...the realisation that this is MY world and you will listen to my words.
Plague lowers the mic and remains in the ring as the fans boo's for him become deafening. Blue Dragon is here to crash the party, however. He has a mic and he says Edward Plague is about to come to the "realisation" that he is now living inside hell on earth and things are about to get extremely violent. So if he believed he has achieved something at Day of Reckoning then he is sorely mistaken because all he has done is put a target on his back, instead of Gazzy's, and now the Alpha Predator in 6CWF is about to feast....
Dragon makes his way to the ring as Gazzy launches the lectern at him and then runs forward to attack. Dragon drives a vicious knee into Gazzy's gut and gutwrenches him into the air but then Plague blasts him in the side of the head with the 6CW title belt. Plague and Gazzy are working Dragon over now and pummelling him when Logan Kincade's music hits and the crowd go wild.
Kincade storms the ring to bring the fight to both Plague and Gazzy now. Plague ends up fleeing as Dragon and Logan get the upperhand. Plague is backed off on the rampway as Dragon and Kincade deliver an almighty double chokeslam on Gazzy in the middle of the ring. Kincade drops to one knee over Gazzy and seems to be enjoying himself as Dragon walks to the ropes and glares at Edward Plague to bring the show to an end.
